Guys lemme give ya my view on the law. Jesus did not say he was gonna do away with the law but he says he came to

fulfill the law His death will result in a baby Christ which is the H.G. that cannot SIN thus the law is fulfilled if we CANNOT SIN

as sin is the trangression of the law .But if we cannot sin b/c of the H.G. THAT IS GONNA BE BORN IN US. The law

is fulfill or established . Thats how he will fufill the law by the H.G living with in us. Not I that live but Christ that lives

in me . Do we make void the law by Faith God forbid we establish the law . Just my view.....Allehandro ( Alex )

You are so right on this Grace! Taking all of these needs to God in prayer compels us to acknowledge Him and know that all of our needs are met in Him. I am glad you mentioned "small things". My son looked at my laptop and said that my "H" key is going out and it would need a part replacement type of repair. I pray that God will just restore it so that I do not need to push it so much more that the other keys, since it gets omitted from so many words I type when I post.

Please agree with me in prayer for this.

Thank you! You are a "gem"!

Earl James 3:17 I have yet to read a comment made by you that fits biblically in context with correct

usage of words with semantic accuracy and your response will be the spirit reveals. The spirit is not

loaded with contention and strife with words, its supposed to be simple believing in the deliverance of

Jesus Christ. For me this is over and no response will make sense!

This is Jesus Christ Summary of His Ministry and the Good news Or Gospel Luke 4: 18-21 that was and is His

Ministry show me where part of that Good News IS TALKING ABOUT HELL and I'll eat the Book. Also show me

where in Acts or the Church Epistles where Hell and judgement and death are talked about a lot, you won't

find it but it will talk about repentance and Deliverance believing in Jesus Christ and His resurrection from

the dead where we have deliverance from sin and all the other junk.

Earl They weren't mistranslated they must be understood in context of their usage like many other

    words in Gods Word.

Brother Mishael, I keep preaching this because the words of the Hebrew and Greeks were mistranslated.

Christ emptied the graves of those that died IN FAITH at His resurrection.

All others are still in their graves.

The wages of sin is DEATH. (and the grave; not hell).

Jesus didn't go to hell, he lay in the grave three days, the dead are dead.

    lasciviousness meaning looseness, lustfulness, lewd.

Ephesians 4:19 says Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20 But ye have not so learned Christ.

Hello Janet. Sometimes these lists of the generations & families of important folk in the Bible, can get confusing. So I'll try to explain a little.

In 1 Chronicles chapter 23, we see from verse 6, that David organized the Levites into their specific appointments. Their father was Levi (of the tribe of the same name from Jacob). From Levi, came Gershon, Kohath & Merari (v6). From Kohath came Amram, Izhar, Hebron & Uzziel (v12). From Amram came Moses & Aaron (v13). And from Moses came Gershom & Eliezer (v15). (I've only shown the names that are specific to your question).

Now we get to the problem. Often in the Bible, we see the repetition of certain phrases, particularly in relation to genealogies. In this instance, we read, 'the sons of...'. Most of the families listed had several sons, but Eliezer had only one son (Rehabiah) shown as the founder (chief) - and he had a very large family & generations after him. So, even when it says in verse 17, "And the sons of Eliezer were", the wording only follows the pattern laid out before - but Eliezer only had the one son.

Then in verse 22 (your other query), the mention of Eleazar (vv21,22), is a different one (even seen from the spelling of the name). This Eleazar, was the son of Mahli (v21), who was the son of Merari (v21), who was the son of Levi (v6).

And 1 Chronicles 24:28, we read that from Mahli came Eleazar (as we saw him earlier), & this Eleazar had no sons (v28 & 1 Chronicles 23:22).

I hope you can work through all that, though maybe the puzzle in your mind is, 'why is Eliezer showing up in different families?' Of course, the answer to that is, that it's not the same Eliezer/Eleazar.

Earl, it's your CHOICE to not believe in hell. Fine. But don't teach that to people who DO believe there is a hell. This has been going on for MONTHS. I'm not accusing__ but this is beginning to feel like an ATTENTION getting device, on your behalf. No offense intended.

Go back in the history pages of both of these Comment Rooms and look at how much TIME, FURIOUS scripture listing, and back and forth, FOR AND AGAINST HELL conversation occurs.

Jesus went to hell and emptied the Old Testament Saints after taking The Keys from SATAN and took them to Paradise. If Jesus went to hell, then there is a hell.

I promise you that Jesus__DID NOT rescue Nimrod, Cain, Jezebel, Herod, Herodius and all the other wicked unrepentant actors that are DEAD IN A BAD PLACE.

Some days I don't even want to come in here because ARGUING IS NOT LIKE CHRIST.

    TITUS 3:

3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

10 A man that is an HERETIC after the first and second admonition REJECT

11 Knowing that, he that is such, is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

Comment: The King James Bible has the word 'Hell' written in it. This is a King James Bible forum. Most of us believe the entire Bible is profitable for salvation, learning and sharing.

    Proverbs 19:27

Chris yes you are so right Hell is part of the GOSPEL as our God is a consuming fire. As Mal. 3 : 1 says who shall abide the

the day of his coming, Who shall stand when he appears for he shall For he shall be as a REFINERS FIRE AND FULLERS

SOAP.....HELL IS WHAT WE NEED . Its simply his love for us but also his judgement its his baptism of the H.G. AND FIRE.

Every sinner will have their part in the lake of fire as our God is a consuming fire. That is gonna consume our old

Adamic nature . Remember the Red Heifer had to be burnt to ashes at the door of the tabernacle which is our old evil

Adamic nature . His fire is the H.G HIS LOVE FOR US BUT ALSO HIS JUDGEMENT AND THATS WHAT WE NEED..Chris

there is not 1 person who is too good to go thru that baptism of fire which is the lake of fire another Jordan. Baptism

of the H.G. and FIRE. And even death is gona be cast into the lake of fire. Even in the natural we chastise our children

b/c we love them ,But hell the lake of fire is something we embrace , its what we need to cleanse us . I know that the

scripture says that hell is gonna be cast into the lake of fire ,But hell has another definition as death, its death ( hell )

that is gonna be cast into the lake of fire as our God is a consuming fire as the Spirit of LIFE in Christ Jesus has made us

free from that law of sin and death ....As MAL. 3 : 2 SAYS WHO SHALL ABIDE THE DAY OF HIS COMING, WHO SHALL

STAND WHEN HE APPEARS FOR HE SHALL BE AS A REFINERS FIRE AND FULLERS SOAP Hell is our cleanser spritually.

the law of sin and death

I am Amazed! The amount of conversation on this web site that focuses on hell and condemnation and what will happen if you don't believe is remarkably opposite of what attracted me to God. I am reminded of Romans 2:3+4

especially 4 where it is the GOODNESS OF GOD that leads you to repentance which is a change of heart towards the

one that did the good. I'm aware the Jesus taught about the consequences of unbelief but that was NOT all He talked

or preached about. He taught of how God is a loving , forgiving, tender merciful, all knowing, graceful, and full of

peace and life giving. He didn't dwell on the stuff of the enemy, when I've had the privilege of sharing Gods Word

most of these lost already are in hell [figuratively speaking in their minds the darkness of unbelief] then you love

them into the truth. 2 Corinthians 4:1-6 remember we plant and water in Love and God gives the increase also

judge not for thou shalt be judged. I know some one now that BELIEVES if she makes a false move GOD WILL PUNISH

HER and that's a lie, and she's born again! How can you reach out to others when your in a state of mental terror

thinking any little error you'll be judged for that's torment not freedom in Christ. That's what others taught her

is the way it is, somebodies got to be wrong and it isn't my Loving Father and that's the GOOD NEWS of FREEDOM

BY JESUS CHRIST! First announcement of angels to Shepherds regarding His birth PEACE ON EARTH GOOD WILL

TOWARDS MEN THIS IS GODS WILL. Last 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men saved and to come to a knowledge

of the truth. The word will is Thelema primary objective or desire! The enemies desire is the opposite he doesn't

    need help.

Hi Jeanie The actual question is why do you want a tattoo on your body, make yourself feel better? Proof

of what you believe, show who or what you love or look up to. Or to look cool and fit in, then the question is

fit into what? These are things to consider, this practice originated among idolaters in polynesian islands but

was actually all over and the people were identifying themselves with the worship of that specific deity. Our

identification is in Christ Jesus and or witness is our walk and talk in Gods Love that's our mark! Just things

    to consider.

Chris i appreciate you, lemme give ya my scriptures on the end times and the end of the world. Remember Jesus mentions sorrows which according to him is indicative of Child birth John 16 : 21 ...Sorry i am late in getting back

to you, as yesterday was Sunday and we had Company. The Sorrows are indicative of Child birth, the manchild

which is the H.G. is gonna rule all Nations.....Chris we are all gonna have a baby via the seeds of the sower the living words of God . John 12 : 5 She brought forth a man Child that is gonna rule ALL NATIONS...The Child is the real H.G.

The Child of Promise and its this Child that is the Kingdom as he said unless ya receive the Kingdom as a lil Child you

You will in no wise enter there in

Thats y he mentions the babes and the suckling Thats the Children of the Kingdom that are gonna be born in us .

When he was yet on the Cross he was calling for Elijah to come and turn the hearts of the Fathers to the Children, his Children ( SPIRITS) THE H.G. The lil ones , Smite the sheppard and the sheep will be scattered then i will turn my hand

to the LIL ONES ,The babes and sucklings. Chris plz think on this Isaiah 9 : 6 When Isaiah saw the Kingdom coming he said unto US a Child is born ,Unto us a son is given

Thats y he always refers to himself as the son of man...Mankind is gona birth a baby Christ which is the H.G. the Child of PROMISE And he is gonna rule ALL NATIONS. GBU Chris

    GILLS EXPOSITION COMMENTARY

nor print any marks upon you; Aben Ezra observes, there are some that say this is in connection with the preceding clause, for there were who marked their bodies with a known figure, by burning, for the dead; and he adds, and there are to this day such, who are marked in their youth in their faces, that they may be known; these prints or marks were made with ink or black lead, or, however, the incisions in the flesh were filled up therewith; but this was usually done as an idolatrous practice; so says Ben Gersom, this was the custom of the Gentiles in ancient times, to imprint upon themselves the mark of an idol, to show that they were his servants; and the law cautions from doing this, as he adds, to the exalted name (the name of God): in the Misnah it is said (h), a man is not guilty unless he writes the name, as it is said, Leviticus 19:28; which the Talmudists (i) and the commentators (k) interpret of the name of an idol, and not of God:

I am the Lord; who only is to be acknowledged as such, obeyed and served, and not any strange god, whose mark should be imprinted on them.

Mishael: above is a Bible Commentary. My comment is that it is hugely expensive to have them removed later, with lasers.

After 20-30 years the tats are faded and the body gets flabby and you wish you had not been tattooed. Personally I think it's just as fun to get the TEMPORARY kind of tattoos. Why not Google temporary tatoos?

In the 60's we painted each other with tempera paints; like psychedelic color, glow in the dark, all kinds. Later everyone would go swimming and wash it off so parents wouldn't freak out.

It's such a blessing to have a place to come to where we can pray over each other's needs. Every prayer request here is of utmost importance. I thank God that we can bring everything to Him. We are to acknowledge Him in all our ways. Pastor Tim Dileno preached a great message yesterday on "acknowledging " the Lord. He pointed out that to acknowledge the Lord is more than just saying hey Lord , I see you! It's more of a marriage covenant type of acknowledgment. Where I don't make any decisions without bringing them to the Lord.Prayer. It really got me to thinking about how when I was married I didn't even plan a meal without consulting my husband or at least considering whether or not that meal would be acceptable to him. God WANTS to be involved in everything. I am reminded today to consult God (prayer) about even the smallest things.

I would love to do street ministry with you!

It takes a lot of real life to make contact.

Most people feel invisible maybe, because of social media platforms. You know__we talk to them online but we can't really see those faces.

I met someone at church, and 3 times a week we'd meet at I-Hop and do ministry on UT Campus in Austin. It was wild at times.

We both attended Singles Ministry too. We'd bring some kind of food and talk about our weekly lives: work problems, family conflicts, dating disasters, dating tips, missionary type outreach.

It was just come as you are. We met in each other's homes. Honestly, it was the best!!

Single people need face to face inter-action. Explore successes and awesome fails. LOL.

One time someone brought a head of iceberg lettuce for food. :O we found peppers and tomatoes to make eyes, ears, mouth__and made hair with thousand island salad dressing. (Bring toothpicks). We took pictures for the church bulletin board. It was so funny!!

You don't get that kind of action on Facebook or Twitter. I'm not on any of that. I'd rather go over to Goodwill and talk to complete strangers about what kind of people dropped off "that tshirt" !!??

A favorite saying of mine, is: "I stepped out of the house, into a pile of humanity and got smiles and laughs all over ME."

If Jesus can pull little children into His lap and bless them with the oil of joy; why can't we? Our lives are so controlled; even our environments.

I have days when my joints scream obscenities at me, but I make myself ready to meet the world. GO YE SOMEWHERE :D

I'm gonna get a T-shirt that says, honk if you love Jesus, so they'll stop running me over in the grocery store, with their carts :/

May the angels kiss your sleepy eyes and keep watch over you :*
  • WHY WE LOVE WHAT WE DO HERE - In Reply - 4 years ago
I study to help seekers after Jesus. I sit in my closet floor and pray for those who hurt, are confused, in darkness. They are real. I put a pillow on my knees and groan because they won't pray for themselves.

For 3 seconds I looked into Jesus's eyes, in a vision. I could not look away. His gaze was direct, piercing. Someone spoke 2 Timothy 3:5. The vision was gone. I was in shock but that scripture woke me up.

I tore through a 19lb Bible and I found out I was living under a death sentence for being an astrologer. For doing charts on Christians. Then I was shown hell.

2 Timothy 3:15. I was 5 when I became aware that someone was teaching me about God. We played and he explained the wisdom found in proverbs.

I was sort of kidnapped like Daniel; But by evil. My aunt was always around and she believed in all kinds of occult practices. I thought she was nuts with cards, crystals, crystal balls, aliens. I married and moved 800 miles away. ButI began 13 yrs of astrological & astronomy studies, seriously. My life hurt so bad I was sure there was something wrong with me. The stars would explain?

After I was born again for real and for eternity, I went outside one night, leaned back in the swing, saw the stars above and saw My Father. I cried out 30 years worth of tears. Jesus's eyes are burned into my brain. He's beautiful, not like any movies you've ever seen. He wore a white robe.

The Most Powerful thing you can do as a new believer is to read the Bible. He inspired every word in it. He's serious; He has a wonderful sense of humor. Serious as a father when it means life, or spiritual Death, or when we misinterpret Scripture.

Stay in the New Testament until you know Jesus's way of teaching. Discern Him. His Word will save your life and others, by what you soak up. Be a sponge. Do not SPEED READ.

You have to remember human beings were writing this down on scrolls and carrying them.

You can depend on Jesus's Bible.

    I love you all! Mishael

Dear brother, U said it soo thru. Its evan soo that Golgata today is inside the city. Not outside as it was before when Jesus hang on the cross. Many more places is twisted around in Jerusalem. It is the devil who have made confusion for christian ppl. We need too look up in the Spirit sometimes during the day. Not always see white and black letters. What did Jesus said example in

    Luke 22:67

Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:

Soo the clue here is that the Holy Spirit tell us today. And if we not see or hear Him in the heart now! How can some then belive that we shall see Him after? He is with us today, and stay with us the rest of our life. Whom will go from Him? And is not willing to live in the love that God gives, i said poor poor people

    1 Thessalonians

    Chapter 3

Stay blessed in His holy name Jesus Christ.

I'm not a Greek or Hebrew scholar, but I don't think one is required to read the Bible and understand it. Children can even read it and understand it to believe and have faith.

Earl, I don't know where you heard this translation thing about 'hell' from, but I believe it's false. Hell means hell. It's already translated and done so accurately. Are we expected to believe that tens of thousands of scholars who have prayerfully and meticulously translated the Bible over hundreds of years and all come to the same conclusion of hell meaning hell are all somehow wrong and only you are right?

I believe you've been deceived on the meaning. I believe this attempt to make hell into a different place has a hidden motive. I don't even have to be a Greek or Hebrew scholar to know what hell means because the Bible already described it so many times. It is an absolutely horrible place of suffering. No man can tell me otherwise, because I believe God over man. Jesus warned people over and over about it and what exactly can be done to avoid it. I have shared these verses before with you. They refute the anti-hell narrative. God is such a good God He won't let evil spoil heaven. Satan was cast out of heaven. Satan, demons, and his followers aren't invited in. Just like all the parables say most really will go to hell and few will go to heaven. Some should be a little afraid of this if they aren't genuinely following Jesus. God bless.
