Verse 3 stood out for me because I am disabled and now retired. I do not get out much, so I am pretty much homebound. I have been watching movies that are sometimes violent and the use of much profanity. I am trying to watch decent family type movies. I want to stop watching them completely. O Lord, may this day be the day I quit putting before my eyes things that are wicked. Help me Holy Spirit to be faithful like David. Renew in me a clean heart that loves all righteous living until I enter Eternity and sin will never be remembered. Show me the narrow path to live each day for Jesus, who gave his life for me.Glory, Honor and Praise belong to You O Lord.

I believe it use to be in the bible saying "the lion shall lay down by the lamb", but now its not there. Why?

If you are living an immoral life,no matter what it is,and you think God will forgive you because He is a loving God. This gospel that you are hearing is not the true doctrine of Jesus Christ! Eternal damnation is not salvation.Jesus Christ came to save sinners of whom I am chief! This new social gospel is not the gospel . He that Knows to do good and do it not it is a sin.Our consciences will bear witness to the truth! James 4 will show you how we are to be toward one another and the world.

By grace are we saved without the deeds of the law". Today In these times, the church should be the watchman, and declaring these things, in the face of a sinful and unrepentant world.The law and the gospel. Romans 3:20, KJV: "Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin."Roman 5;1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:Those who live under the law,will be judged by the law.

dealing with depression, anxiety and emotional pain from a recent situation involving a guy I talked to that has suddenly stopped talking to me and it has caused me alot of emotional pain that I can't seem to move past. Deborah was strong-arm the Lord(Yahweh) and trusted him and Jael also followed G-d's leading to destroy Sisera..destroying evil in her dwelling. Maybe this is a lesson that all evil should be removed from our dwelling places...guess TV would go first! Thanks for the reminder that G-d can use a woman who follows him as well.

We are not to question God, when we ask why we question his works. Just know that the bad happens because of bad choices people make. The good happens because of our relationship with God we know to do good. Faith leads us to do good, Satan leads us to do bad. God gave us the right to choose our actions. Just know God knows best, we must except and receive.

Psalms 23 brought me through some very terrible times. I love reading the Bible now.

You are doing the right thing to ask for prayer. Our pastor got out of work and had to go to Kroger for a few weeks pushing carts to provide, I'm sure he was a bit humbled to do that, but if he was he never said, he just did what was necessary, his wife didn't work at the time and they had 2 little girls. RE: Verse 7 Ch. 24 How many folks here believe as a student of the 'Word' that this COVID 19 pandemic is a 'type' or 'foreshadow' of the coming of Jesus Christ. Most of the puzzle pieces are already appearing. The decadence of morality 'as in the day's of Noah' are in full view. Micro electronics and everything related is coming into full completion to bring in the 'final 1 World system' Your deepest thoughts are welcome. The times are like a flood coming very quick !

Genesis 1:1 says "in beginning" in the original language. So He created TIME. He created it for us. He himself lives outside the boundary of time. He sees history from the alpha to the omega. It is recorded in His book. He knows the day of our birth and the day of our death. If we cry, the tears are saved. Not only did He create time; but He established force, action and matter. Four things all scientists seek to discover and explain. God is the most fascinating person I know. I can't wait to know more about Him. I can only hope others will pursue to know more and share it with others. I love this website! I want to read what you've discovered too.

It was quite a long time since I did that study. I had a lot of questions about the genealogies; time periods and the ages of people. The evidence of incest was apparent. I continued reading and noted that incest was dealt with.
In Genesis when God was creating, He pronounced it good. That communicates to me that it was not imperfect or damaged. I accept that but as time passes, we can see breakdowns in the creation. I know God did not do that. The only other reason is sin. I'm not saying wild, wanton sin. It trickled down from Adam & Eve's sin. God gave us medicine & knowledge of its use to help people. God has recorded all our days. He will wipe away all our tears and our fears.

Please pray that my granddaughter returns home Monday and that this experience is the catalyst to break a generational curse. Comfort for my four girls and wisdom for me to show them the goodness of Jesus.
