Bill in Hebrew there are no upper case or lower case when the scriptures says ye are Gods it simply Gods plural. Ya gotta realize that the good seed is the living WORD WHICH IS THE SEED OF GOD. Thats y he is saying to whom the WORD came it made them GODS Jesus said whatsoever a man sows that shall he reap and Jesus is sowing the Living WORD the very seed of GOD THUS HIS CROP ARE Gods plural, he will not have crop failure, As my word ( his seed ) cannot return unto him void but shall surely prosper in what it was sent to do which is salvation, eternal life. I once attempted to take an offending member of a church to the elders , the offender did not acknowledge before two elders , so 1 elder tried to fix the problem there and it never really was resolved, but the leading elder felt it was taken care of and would not allow it to go before the church .

I could have been more persistent in getting it resolved , but I then learned that this church was not functioning as a church should . Some men rule , not the Holy Spirit . This was long ago .

Great question , if a brother sins against another brother by offense maybe a word or action . They need to be told of it by the offended one . If the offender will not listen then it should go before the church if he still refuses to except his responsibility before the church , then then 2 in agreement being what is needed for a true witness by God have authority to bind what ever they seem fit to bind . They have the mind of the Lord and are led by the Holy Spirit .

The problem today is trying to find a functioning church that's not got sin in it . And even two saints together led by the Holy Spirit . Really not so commonly found these days . Not just anyone can do this .

If the offending brother makes amends with the offended , those binding can release it .

What determines when the spiritual realm and the physical meet! The holy spirit moved upon the face of the deep ,during creation. The Holy spirit overshadowed Mary, also the holy spirit also filled Elizabeth as the child leaped in her womb. Also when the holy spirit abode on Christ and abode on him after his baptism. And "without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory".We describe the holy spirit as a person in the trinity, and with this "WORD", seeing is believing, The holy spirit can and will present itself whenever needed, According to the spirit found in Christ we are able to see the spiritual, physically working in the kingdom of God. This is what the word means being "in the Spirit of God". If you are in the spirit ,then and only will you be able to see the holy spirit. This is when the physical meets the spiritual.

This was way before Jesus ascension up into heaven , correct ?

So now Jesus is sitting at the Fathers right hand beside God .

Would God still say this now ?

That's an interesting question, Mishael, but I'm unsure whether all the words that Rob requested can be found in a single verse. I'm was also thinking of John 17:5, 6; Philippians 2:6-8; Galatians 4:4; Isaiah 9:6, 7; plus John 1:1-14 quoted earlier. Hopefully, you can add further to this. In any case, from the abundance of Scriptures we have, it's not hard to discern Who Jesus is, the one & the same, both pre-incarnate & as a Man.

Hi Advise to Single Christian MinistersMishael

I believe that being alone and isolated is Satan's best tool against us, because I suffered from depression & anxiety for about 30 years until it got to the point where I didn't want to wake up & I prayed in my heart for God to give me some peace & within a few mins I felt peace. (Praise God !!!)

I will do some research & see if anyone knows of any of these types of things going on anywhere because I don't know of any church in my area that do anything like this. I told my pastor a few weeks ago about this guy that sits outside Aldi pretending to be homeless. He always has different clothes, shoes, & coats on & I've seen him with at least four different sleeping bags too. He's better dressed than me sometimes. Anyway, long story short my pastor said that someone asked him for money once & he told them that if they listened to the gospel for a few mins then he would give him some money & that the guy just walked off. He went on to say that if we don't work we shouldn't eat. I was very offended by this because I haven't been able to hold a job down for more than a few weeks here & there for over 20 years, due to suffering from depression & anxiety which led me to being on benefits most of my life. (Praise God that I no longer suffer from depression & anxiety !!!) but I am yet to find employment as I have only just ended my recovery period when the Covid 19 pandemic came along.

Jesus declared God because he was born of God and knows God as no other man .

As you mentioned the word said no man has seen God , that's excellent !

Yes Jesus declaration is when he was here on earth .

Why was Jesus more than the greatest of the prophets , John the Baptist ? And he is !

The answer because Jesus was the only Son God ever by Birth !

All others in the past including John the Baptist where not Born as Jesus was in Bethlehem, so simple yet true .

God verified that Jesus is his Son can any one dispute this and when it occurred?

The answer is Bethlehem is where and when , Jesus is the Christ born of God sent to save the world by Gods love .

So much more can be said .

Thanks for your reply. I believe that the Holy Spirit is dealing with me too. I think that I may even have the gift of discernment because I've suffered from anxiety all my life until people laid their hands on me & prayed for me at my old church. I've always been able to sense good or bad about people & situations, for example I can meet someone new & I either get a good, bad, or neutral feeling about them or go somewhere & get the same feelings about them too. I have no idea what triggers this feeling, but in every case I can think of it usually turns out that I'm right. My friends use to say that I was paranoid when I said that I had bad feelings about things, but the times I didn't listen to my gut instincts I ended up it trouble. I now trust my own instincts, rather than people.

I will continue to pray and read the Word of God, and ask the Holy Spirit to teach me the things that I don't understand.

I was an astrologer until 1985. I asked God to wipe my brain's hard drive and toss the pins, after a supernatural salvation and deliverance from ALL occult things. Satan tried to get rid of me many times.

If you study carefully, you will see the title god does not refer to deity. Children of God are his children, not gods, but saints.

Pray and ask God for confirmations (Not Signs). Satan is in charge of 'lying signs and wonders'.

So read Genesis 24. Remember how King David's life was complicated by taking another mans wife, getting her pregnant and the having her husband killed in battle.

If we include God in our search, there's no way it's going to fail. I love the way the servant prays details, from large to smallest. Happy camel watering.

Can someone please give me an example of what things we can bind on earth, so that they shall be bound in heaven, and what things we can loose on earth, so they shall be loosed in heaven ?

Thanks for your reply, Claire, & I'm sure there are many who are lifting you up before the Lord including about your place of worship, the people there & your family situation. The Lord hears you & as you keep your heart & mind affixed upon Him & express full faith in spite of your circumstances, you will find the Lord opening up the way before you.

Faith is what moves the Hand of God. Mark 9:23, 24: "Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief."

I took a cursory look at the "The Way Prepared" site, particularly on 'Our Greatest Hindrance' & 'Ten Commandments' & though they gave a thorough dealing with the subjects, I had some serious misgivings with their teaching as they don't conform entirely to what I understand are scriptural Truths.

Just one more point on The Church. I picked up on this conversation you were having. To state, that 'Church' in the Bible always points to 'a group of people, a congregation, a gathering for religious purposes'. The Greek word is 'ekklesia'. It never speaks of a building - the Church is a living organism: the Body of Christ: 1 Corinthians 12:27, "Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular." And verse 28, describes some of the appointments & functions within this Body, the Church. However, it wouldn't be wrong to say that 'we're off to Church today' as applying to a building/location but the meaning is essentially to the Body of believers. Every blessing to you as you wait on the Lord.

John 1:18: "No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him." Would this be a declaration of Jesus' pre-incarnate Being in Heaven & then sent forth to the Earth as God's only begotten Son in the flesh?

But to find the words: 'Jesus born in Bethlehem was first with God in Heaven' isn't given except the Scriptures I've given earlier. So are you saying that the Jesus on Earth was never the Word of God in Heaven simply because there's no word-for-word depiction of this Truth? Or maybe, I've misunderstood you altogether.

When you prayed the prayer of faith, to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior: you were sealed with the Holy Spirit THEN.

Read all of 1 Corinthians 12, to understand the gift of speaking in tongues. If it's a gift you desire, then ask the Holy Spirit for that gift. Always covet discerning of spirits. A very useful gift.

GOOGLE the gifts so you'll know what each one of them is for.

The Holy Spirit is your Teacher. Always ask Him to help you understand what you are reading. You now have the Mind of Christ. He will instruct you through the Holy Spirits ministry to believers. Be still & quiet till he replies. You're going to fall deeply in love with the Spirit of Jesus.
