God doesn't lie, God doesn't break his promises. He desperately wants you to be with him in eternity. There's nothing you can do on your own to save yourself, Jesus did all the work for you already on the cross. It's his free gift to you. Have faith!
"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." - 1 John 5: 13
"For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel."
Here we see the Apostle Paul's teaching on those who have sinned "in the Law" (i.e. the Jews who were given God's Law to abide by & to judge themselves as those who failed in keeping the Law perfectly), and those who 'perish' (note: not 'sinned', since sin is effected, accountable & punishable by God by the giving of a Law, Romans 3:20) without having received the Law.
So to the Jew who remains under the burden of the Law & not in receipt of God's Grace in Christ, they will be judged by the Law, & they will fail, for none could ever keep the Law perfectly ( Galatians 2:21b:"for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.").To the Gentile (non-Jew) who in days past never received or even heard of God's Laws & therefore never subject to its conditions, Paul says that these may not have the written Law in stone/parchment, but by nature perform the Law as written upon their hearts; it's now their conscience that accuses them of doing wrong or excuses their sins, that God sees & thus judges. Certainly not like getting God's Commands directly, but when both Jew & Gentile have to stand before God, the judgement meted to them will be based on the Law whether given directly or written in their hearts/consciences.
And that's why the Gospel is so important: it is salvation to all.
From the time of Israel's exodus out of Egypt, they learned which day was the actual Sabbath: Exodus 16:25-27, when they found no manna on the ground on that day. Ever since then, the count was on: 6 days work - 1 day rest, right up to the time of Jesus when He observed the same Sabbath, indeed He did 'work' in it, saying that the Sabbath was created for man & not the other way around.
So the Sabbath was a specific day of rest for the Jews. And it could fall on that day as well, or any other day, for non-Jews. The important point was that man took the day off to cease from his labours for both physical & spiritual recuperation. Where this observance becomes a problem for Christians, is the compulsion by some that we too are bound to a Jewish Saturday Sabbath, & by extension, full obedience to the Law, which none could keep. This Law was not a sign to Christians but to the Jew who was under the Law. Hear what Paul says pertaining to the Law & the Christian: Romans 3:19-22; Galatians 3:21-25; Galatians 4:21-26; Galatians 5:16-18.
If the Christian then sets aside Sunday, the Lord's Day ( Revelation 1:10) as a day of rest & worship, he fulfils the need for both. If he chooses any other day as a rest day, does it matter to the Lord? Colossians 2:16,17. If one believes that the keeping of the Sabbath does matter to the Lord, then he shows a misunderstanding of the Law engraven in stones & the Law of the Life-giving Spirit ( Romans 8:2).
Take RELIGION off of the throne of your heart, and you place Jesus on that throne. pray, read the Bible (New Testament) first. Receive the Holy Spirit. Turn off the media so you can talk to the Holy Spirit and He will talk to you. Take your questions straight into the throne room. Leave your requests at the altar. Cast all your cares upon Him, because He cares about you.
The Lord has made every provision for us to be born again. For a season I would go get a copy of the King James Bible and read of what Jesus encountered in Jerusalem.
He was the awaited for Messiah. But the Pharisees and religious leaders rejected Him. They realized their jobs and control over the masses, was threatened.
Years ago the Holy Spirit showed me that over 500 prophesies were fulfilled by Jesus the Messiah. Over 100 on the day of his crucifixion alone. The odds of that happening is in the Trillions!
This is something the Gentiles need to consider. After the Caught Up in the Clouds (Rapture) 1 Thess.4:16-17. THE ELECTION passes back over TO THE JEWS of Israel. Not only that: the Restrainer will diminish in His presence on earth. The Antichrists identity will be revealed. He will attempt a fake peace on the earth. I do not believe anyone is saved based on their tribe or people group. Jews were God's chosen people, but that doesn't mean they have a free pass to heaven. They need to believe and follow Jesus just like anyone else. Even in the Bible, Judas, a Jew who followed Jesus betrayed Him and then had a horrible death and I think likely will end up in hell.

Those are a few Scriptures to show that God, Who is One, has sent out His Word & His Spirit to accomplish His Plans. So when we read, "God said, Let US make man in our Own Image", this plurality which you've observed, is God in His Fullness involved in man's creation as also in creating the heavens & earth. Man, (interpreted as Adam), was first created. And "them" would be his wife, Eve, & all his progeny after them that would "have dominion over the earth & its creatures".
Man was "created in God's Image". God is Spirit & no man has seen God at any time - he cannot be described in physically terms. But what we do see is not the physical Image of God, but the part of God He desired that man would also have & benefit from. So looking at God's Character, we see that He is first Holy ( Leviticus 11:44), His Spirit communes with man's spirit, He has the power of Love, of Choice, of Fellowship, of Righteousness (pure & holy living), of expressing Emotions, etc. That describes God & His attributes that Adam also enjoyed, but after Adam chose to disobey God & sin entered into him, sin subsequently marred his physical, mental & spiritual aspects. And this marring, or corruption, fell upon all mankind, i.e. we've inherited this sin nature ( Romans 3:23), & our own lives show us daily how far short we have fallen from that ideal & how far our sins have separated us from God.
And this was to happen after our first parents, Adam & Eve, sinned against God. But God, in His great Love for mankind, His creation, stepped in with a solution to this sin problem. God can't overlook sin because sin is not from Him but from Satan. And since one way to make payment for sin was for the death of the sinner, the other way, which God planned, was for a substitute to take the place of the sinner. But that substitute had to be pure & perfect, which sinful man could not be (that means man cannot pay for his own sin). The only Substitute that would work for God was to send Jesus, His Son, to make the payment. However, that time was long coming as God had a purpose for withholding Him, so God instituted an animal sacrificial system for His people, Israel, as a temporary measure: so that they would acknowledge their sins & the need to pay for it through sacrifice.
Since that sacrifice was only temporary, at the right time, God sent Jesus to Earth to ultimately give up His Life for us sinners. But every sinner has to accept that offering & put their trust in Him ( John 3:16). So now there is no need for anymore sacrifices as Jesus was the Perfect & only One sent by God. So Jesus' shed Blood & broken Body was necessary to satisfy God for our sins & so we say that "our sins have been remitted" (our sins have been forgiven & removed & we're no longer accounted by God as being punishable ( Romans 3:23-25)); just like a judge on Earth declares a convicted person as no longer guilty & he is free to go. But just as the prisoner still has to pay for any crime he commits later, so a Christian who sins in error is accountable to God & seeks His forgiveness.
He told us to seek the kingdom of God first and then all these things would added unto us. God also tells us to be patient . Wait on him. God never fails he's alway true and faithful . Its people who let Hid down by not trusting in his word and living his word , not just saying your a Christian, but actually living it out the Bible way .
Yes we can all live it . God said in Several Chapters Go an sin No more . Would God tell us to Not sin if we couldn't do it by his help and Grace? No, he wouldn't . John 3 ch. John 8 ch. , John 5 ch. Romans 6:1-2 Romans 3:23-25 1 John 3:1-11 all these and there's more . We all need to be ready when the Lord comes back . Oh what a day of Rejoicing it will truly be fir his Saints .the really saved . Not just say I am when not. Can't go to Heaven with any type of sin in your life at all. None of us . 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 , Galatians 5:16-21.Gid came to show us the way he wants all Souls to be Saved Ezekiel 18:4. If we put God First he will give us also the desires of our heart to . But , we need to very careful what we ask for to have .It can hinder you in walking with God daily or even cause you to go astray from God and never get back .
If you Seek the kingdom of God First Let God Know you truly want to live for him and do as his word tells us and do it from the Heart . Let God know your willing to do it his way . Get o. Your knees and ask for forgiveness , if you've sinned . Truly Repent and to never go back to sin . God will bless your life . Genesis 2:18

I understand your difficulty in seeking out a Church, & maybe if you are in a 'closed' country, even those Christians are probably meeting in small groups hidden away. But you have the Bible & are reading it often: the Words in there are Words of Life powered by God's Spirit. Pray for understanding in your reading & wisdom to be able to live those glorious Truths in your life. When I used to speak with Muslims in Pakistan about them reading al-Quran in Arabic, they confessed that they did not understand what they were reading (as Urdu was their language, even with a similar script to Arabic). But they still faithfully read it as that was the right thing to do to please Allah. But you have a Teacher with you to help you understand & others here to assist when we can.
You said that Jesus called you, in your vision. Since you've not had anyone to help you further, I need to remind you that coming to Christ is not like coming or joining a religion. There is a special work that God does in a person's heart & this work starts when a person confesses he is a sinner & is separated from God ( Romans 3:23 & 10:9). When a person truly repents of his sin, then God assures him that He will forgive him ( 1 John 1:9) & bring him into His family ( John 1:12). When a person is so changed, we say that he is "born again" = made spiritually new (see John chapter 3). May God bless you.
Well actually, the Law in itself never changed, but the application of it did. The Law given by God is unchangeable in that it came from God & was given to His people, Israel, so that they had God's Standards for living, for worship & for dealing with their sin before a Holy God rather than develop their own standards. If left to their own devices, they would quickly degenerate & behave as the heathen gentiles around them (i.e. pantheistic, carnal living & vain sacrifices (including human sacrifices) to appease their gods). So Israel needed a standard that reflected the Holy Nature & demands of their God.
Israel still failed God many times & they were often scolded by God, through His prophets, & also punished (the long lasting punishment was their exile into Babylonian captivity (Judah) & into Assyrian captivity (Israel)). So of what benefit was that Law? Apart from it being God's Standard for them, it was also meant to show them their sin & their inability to follow it to the letter ( Romans 3:19,20). So, as required by God, each year sacrifice had to be made by the High Priest as a propitiatory offering to God, to temporarily cover their sins & appease God's Anger. If they faithfully did this, God would not condemn them for sin & they could live & not die. But this Law was only for a time & for a reason (as stated above), looking forward to the time when the only acceptable Sacrifice would come, a Sacrifice that fully dealt with man's sin & it would be a permanent, once for all, redemptive Sacrifice. Hebrews 10:1-18 gives more detail on this.
If you sincerely put your trust in Jesus Christ knowing that he, being the sinless Son of God, laid his life down to pay for our sins, was crucified, dead and buried, and then raised from the dead, you will be saved and fully forgiven.
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. ( Psalm 103:10-12)
But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption. Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. ( Acts 13:37-39)
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ( 1 John 1:9)
Admittedly it is hard to understand many things in Scripture, but it is not because Scripture is wrong; it is because mankind is made up of weak and imperfect people, unable to scarcely grasp the overwhelming perfection and holiness of God.
We have become so used to sin that we can't imagine anyone being absolutely perfect. But God is! Because God is holy, He never does wrong-ever.
God's holiness is righteous and pure. The Bible says, "Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrongdoing" ( Habakkuk 1:13). Certainly, God notices evil and condemns it. The passage is clarifying that He will NOT look upon evil and tolerate it. He will indeed judge sin, and doing evil is sin.
The Bible says that all have sinned and fall short of God's glory ( Romans 3:23). We stand guilty and condemned before Him, worthy only of His judgment and condemnation.
Apart from Christ and His work on the cross, we have no hope of Heaven, because even one sin contaminates us and makes us unfit to come into God's presence. We must never take the holiness and judgment of God lightly, for it is the very essence of His character.
But God is also the God of love ( 1 John 4:8). This makes all the difference. Behind every dealing God has with us is His perfect love. It was love that caused Him to create us, and it was love that caused Him to send His Son to REDEEM US. His love pursues us and draws us to Himself, and His love will someday take those who believe in Him into His presence forever.
God says to us, "I have loved you with an everlasting love" ( Jeremiah 31:3).

A salvation? I see the violence we do to each other, on the free news, and it's makes me feel sick that we are so capable of hurting each other; and not even thinking about it later.
The terror of it, is that the end will not come swiftly like a huge asteroid strike. It's going to happen like birth pains.

Nor by word, nor by letter AS FROM US. Nor by one who claims to quote a word or letter FROM US. It is thought that a FORGED letter had been circulated to which Paul alludes. In the close of this Epistle he shows how his letters may be known to be genuine. Some suppose, however, that by "letter" he refers to an incorrect interpretation which was placed on his first letter.
I notice that verse 3 seems to bear up, what Paul said in verse 2. We need to remember that Paul was probably incarcerated at this time.
The Falling Away of the Church is going on right now in the world. Lots of things happening to distract us and keep us preoccupied with a world going mad.
Verse 7: The Holy Spirit is restraining the Reveal of Antichrist, until God the Father takes Him out of the way.
This is not a good time to be backsliding or having one last fling.
We were told to have our lamps full of the Oil of the Holy Spirit and to be listening and looking for the Bridegroom.
If you have any unsaved loved ones; now is the time to urge them to come to Jesus now, and not Harden their hearts. Make your peace, forgive Everyone and say goodbye. We're that close.

verse 2 where KJV says the day of Christ is at hand, where the others say the day of the Lord has come. We have been told that the NASB comes from older (therefore more trusted) manuscripts by a pastor friend. This guy is, by the way, an expert in Greek and Hebrew and has both masters and
doctorate degrees. Nonetheless, we prefer the KJV for, perhaps not very good reasons. It seems to us that both KJV and NASB are consistent within themselves but differ greatly, one from the other. Have you any words of wisdom in support of the KJV? Thanking you in advance I am yours in Jesus.

Firstly, when the Bible speaks of 'election' it means that God had in the distant past selected those that would be His children, receive His favour & partake of His Kingdom. Israel is said to be His elect (e.g. Isaiah 45:4) & now those also who have now come to Him for salvation through Jesus Christ His Son (e.g. Colossians 3:12). So if a person does not fall into those categories (i.e. Israel & those born again of God's Spirit), they are not classified as the Elect of God. If a person leads a good life & is generous with his goods to others, this still does not make him acceptable to God, since not one person, bar Christ, was ever good enough to please God ( Romans 3:10, 23).
Now, there's another word similar in meaning to 'election', & that is 'predestination'. These words are almost interchangeable except 'predestination' is used exclusively to born again believers who have been predestined (again, we were appointed before time), to partake in the adoption process. That is, believers might have been elected to be partakers of Kingdom Life, but we have also been appointed to go through the adoption process whereby God, in Love & Mercy, takes someone not in His original family & brings him into His family because of his faith in Jesus Christ. (see Ephesians 1:5, 11). So as a result of our adoption, our predestination into God's Family includes that we don't have Hell as our destiny, but Heaven.
The Bible doesn't speak of any other place where people who die can go to, except Heaven or Hell. Some religions teach falsely of an intermediary place (e.g. purgatory), for a period of further cleansing so as to enter Heaven, but Jesus always taught that there are only two places ( Matthew 18:1-11, for an example of either entering Heaven or Hell). And the decision we make on Earth now determines where our eventual destiny will be. Some mistakenly believe they are on the right way but..for Proverbs 14:12.
Romans 10:4 - For Christ is the END OF THE LAW, for righteousness to every one that believeth.
Romans 6:14 - For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye ARE NOT under the law, but UNDER GRACE.
Romans 7:7 - What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
Romans 3:31 - Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Romans 7:6 - But now WE ARE DELIVERED from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that WE SHOULD serve in newness of spirit, AND NOT in the oldness of the letter.
Galatians 3:10 - For as many as are of the works of the law are UNDER THE CURSE, for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
James 2:10 - For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

I have a testimony as you will have; but I do not experience daily shame for things I did. I thought satan was a guy in a red rented costume. I was the big astrologer! Who took drugs and enough alcohol to float a ship. I didn't know how close to hell I was.
My Past is hid in Christ now. It has no more power over me. Only Peace.
Just ask Jesus to deliver you from those memories, fully. Then give your testimony to Jesus to use as He Wills.
You will be free finally and forever. Everything on your account ledger in Gods Book will only show your name next to Jesus's Blood.

Why can't we believe a God who chose to die for the sins of many so we can attain the life everlasting? It could have been us who should be on that cross but no. That's why God sent Jesus once and for all to die for many once. He is not going to do it again.
That is why we need a Saviour. We can only be saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the SPIRIT OF ERROR.

If you believe you're perfect and sinless like Jesus, that would be contrary to: Romans 3:10 and Romans 3:23.
Ephesians 4:32 - says be kind and tenderhearted and forgive others like Christ has forgiven you, but if you have to be 100% perfect as a Christian why would it say that? Are you suggesting that you've been 100% perfect and sinless since becoming a Christian? For example, you have never lied or quarreled or raised your voice at anyone and have always forgiven others for their sins?
If you believe you've been 100% perfect and sinless, which even Paul wasn't able to do, then aside from Jesus you're the first and only human to be perfectly sinless after becoming a Christian? Just as a warning this could be the sin of pride Proverbs 16:5 and 2 Timothy 3:2.
Matthew 5:48 - Jesus said to strive to be perfect and obey his commands John 14:15, but that doesn't mean you must be perfect to be saved. Ephesians 2:8. That also doesn't mean you have an excuse to sin intentionally.
Matthew 12:31 - Jesus clearly said only blasphemy of the holy spirit is the only sin that won't be forgiven. So, if your point is the NO sins are forgiven after you become a Christian then why would Jesus say this to everyone (including his Christian followers) that all sins ARE forgiven but this one?
Paul admits in Romans 7:15 that he deeply struggles with the flesh and sin. Does that mean you think the man who write the most books of the Bible and was the top evangelist for Christianity went to hell?
My belief is that you don't earn heaven by being perfect. You are saved by believing Jesus, confessing and repenting of your sin and actively following Jesus. You try to avoid sin to the absolute best of your ability, but it doesn't mean you'll be perfect. It in fact says we are all imperfect, but if we're genuinely following Jesus then we're covered by grace as we progress in our life as a Christian. It doesn't mean the grace erases sin, but we will be forgiven if we're a Christian following Jesus. Jesus shares a great parable about sin and forgiveness in Matthew 18.
Matthew 12:36-37 - Jesus sets the bar very, very high with every word you speak to others, your thoughts, and if you even look at a woman. Matthew 5:28. Am I supposed to believe your the first person since Jesus to ever do this perfectly and that you're 'earning' heaven? Congratulations, but I think you're in for a surprise, because that's not what the Bible says and above are just a few of the Bible verses that prove that. I'm not sure where you get your information, because it doesn't seem to be from the Bible. Grace doesn't mean it erases sin, like it never happened. Grace is forgiveness of sin. Forgiveness is different than something that never happened. People who sin are forgiven if they are genuinely Christians who follow Christ. It sounds like you're claiming that Christians have to be perfect and without sin to enter heaven? If that is your belief, Jesus already said no one is without sin Romans 3:10. So, are you calling Jesus a liar? You also seemed to question why Jesus died on the cross. Jesus already explained exactly why he died on the cross- it's black and white in the Bible. So, the following statements from you are false:

There is a difference from a Christian who tries their best to follow Christ but still sins (grace) because they have temptations of the flesh (just like Paul did), and someone who claims to be a Christian, but is not interested in following Christ, but desires to enjoy sin as much as possible because Satan told him he was saved and doesn't have to change (not grace).

Yes, the sabbath was made for man, and it truly is a wonderful gift from God. Yes we can do good on this day.
Jesus showed us all of the wonderful things that could be performed on this special day! The scribes and Pharisees were always looking for ways to trip Jesus up with the Sabbath.
Luke 6:9-10
"Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?" 10. And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
We can justify many things on the sabbath....but, ignore the sabbath, God forbid!

3. Respond: Believe, Repent, Confess, Accept Jesus as Lord and Savior
To be saved, we must believe that Jesus is Lord and believe that He died for our sins. This confession acknowledges before God that we are unable to attain righteousness on our own and that we accept His plan for our lives.
I noticed you didn't cite any Bible verses to back up your belief, so where does this belief come from? Did a church pastor tell you this or how did you come to such a conclusion that "If a person kills/murders another deliberately, that is a crime, not a sin... "
Is God ok with ALL sin then? Fornication or adultery is not illegal, so if someone wants to commit that tonight, are you saying that God is ok with that and it isn't a sin? If so, where in the Bible does it support this idea?
As you may know, Satan is the father of lies. He deceives people, including Christians to get people to justify sin and turn from Jesus. So, one of us is incorrect, because truth is not relative. There's only 1 truth. So, if Satan deceived one of us, which is more likely, that satan would deceive a Christian into being more obedient to God than he needs to (how awful), or that satan deceives a Christian into believing that sin is ok, and good, and there's nothing wrong with following the world and committing evil, because it's already forgiven. Which of those 2 things is most likely satan's choice to deceive a Christian?
I have prayed about this and 100% disagree with what you said, have a mountain of scripture to back it up, and have prayed and asked God to know the truth and I believe with all my heart that murder is a sin, fornication is sin, adultery is a sin, cursing is sin. The 2 greatest commandments from Jesus you claimed that 'replaced' the moral law did replace it, but added to it and made it even MORE restrictive and HARDER to follow. Example Matthew 5:28.Let me ask this- are you 100% following Jesus's 2 commands? How do you know if you're truly loving God with all your heart, soul and mind? Wouldn't obeying God's law and avoiding sin be a part of loving Him? 1 John 1:8, John 8:34. How about loving your neighbor as yourself. Have you done this 100% perfectly all your life? If you are without sin then are you better than Jesus? 1 John 4:20, Romans 3:23.
