We certainly can't do it - but the power & authority given to the Angel from Heaven, can & will do it at the end of Christ's Millennial reign on Earth: Revelation 20:10:

"And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth : Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours : and their works do follow them. Revelation 14:13. All we need to do is live with Jesus Christ by keeping His commandments. If we live in the Lord we will die in Him. No confusion at all.

1-3 above, we again see and learn of THE POWER OF GOD. Above IT restrained the enemy.

Note: This same POWER OF Jehovah /GOD in 1-3 is made available to us (see John 3:16-21 or similar verses) and when we daily rightly seek /draw-on this POWER OF GOD we individually are empowered by HIM to 'restrain our self' from being our own worse enemy. One of many examples of being my own worse enemy is: where applicable we became comfortable allowing ourselves to be deceived or we deceive ourselves by looking to /for fragile humans, money, or stuff to do for us that which GOD has reserved for HIMSELF to do for us through HIS POWER.

WHEN IS THE RAPTURE / RESURRECTION?

In Revelation 20:4-6 the last book of the Bible there are only 2 more FUTURE Resurrections (Raptures) spoken of: (after the 2 witnesses appear)

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the FIRST RESURRECTION. or rapture

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the FIRST RESURRECTION: on such the SECOND DEATH hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

There were children of God from Adam to christ's death who were in abraham's bossom.

Had christ not died and resurrected, they would remain there in limbo forever.

Abraham's bossom was next door to hell in the heart of the earth, with a huge space, (chasm) separating them.

I believe jesus stood or floated between them and preached the gospel while both sides listened.

The people in hell I don't believe repented. The bible says in revelation that they still cursed God...

Those in abraham's bossom were set free and now are with the Lord in heaven.

Anyone killed for the word of God and for jesus christ, are the souls under the altar in heaven. Rev.

The dead in christ resurrect just before the rapture. And people say the rapture happens before the tribulation.

If that were true, the resurrection of dead in christ would happen first, followed by a rapture.

But that's impossible. because a resurrection happens before the rapture.

When does the bible tell us that the first resurrection happens???

Revelation 20:1-6 says the first resurrection is after the tribulation after the beheadings.

So if nobody is resurrected until after the tribulation, how can a resurrection and rapture happen before the tribulation?? It cant!!

Therefore After the tribulation, Jesus appears in the clouds and the dead in christ rise. Everyone from Adam all the way to the believers from the tribulation.

Then those who are alive and remained from the tribulation, will be caught up and changed together with those who resurrected.

They all meet jesus in air and float to mount of olives. The tribes mourn because they see Jesus descending from the air with ten thousands of his saints. Then the thrones are set up and we rule and reign with Christ for a thousand years.

Hebrews 1:8 says that only jesus is called a son of God. So the Angel's are not sons.

I understand that job calls someone sons of God but its not fallen Angel's.

May God bless all who read this.

Take the mark 666 or not?

Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Revelation Chapter 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and [upon] them which worshipped his image.

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

I agree. As we read the Bible, we come up with slightly different perspectives and one of those has to do with the time of the Rapture.

Please, show me your timeline of events recorded in Scripture about the End Time? I will list mine below. Please clarify. Thanks.

    1. THE ANTICHRIST. Daniel 7-12

Daniel 9:27 - And he will confirm a covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of the temple will come the abomination that causes desolation, until the decreed destruction is poured out upon him.

    2. THE ANTICHRIST EXALTS HIMSELF OVER GOD IN THE TEMPLE.

Matthew 24:15 - when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination of desolation

    3. THE GREAT TRIBUALTION.

Matthew 24:21 - at that time there will be great tribulation, unmatched from the beginning of the world

Revelation 7:14 - These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Revelation 20:4 - I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the Beast.

    4. THE COMING OF CHRIST and RAPTURE.

2 Thessalonians 2:1 - Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to Him

Matthew 24:3 - when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming

Matthew 24:29 - Immediately after the tribulation

Daniel 7:13 - and I saw One like a Son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven

1 Thessalonians 4 - we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds

Mark 13:26 - At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.d And He will send out the angels to gather His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.

Revelation 18:4, - Come out of her, My people.

19:1f For the marriage of the Lamb.

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a SAVIOUR, which is CHRIST the LORD.

Note: This SAVIOR /CHRIST the LORD is born and HE shall establish SALVATION for all of us /mankind. Through CHRIST (see John 3:16-21) the opportunity to be SAVED is made available to all, thereby we can rightly return to JEHOVAH /GOD and avoid Revelation 20:15.

    Bob,

I believe in a pre-tribulation rapture of the church, and I have never once made the claim that there is a second phase of the first resurrection listed in Revelation 20:4-6. Did someone tell you that? There is only one rapture of the church and it is mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, and it takes place prior to the 7 year tribulation period. That is my understanding, and not just mine, but many others.

If you want to believe you will go through God's wrath during the tribulation period, if it happens during our lifetime, I don't have a problem with that. Really, I don't. I don't know why it would bother you that I believe in a pre-trib rapture? From my understanding in 1 Thessalonians 5:9, God has not appointed us believers unto wrath, so I do not believe that God is going to pour His judgment out on any believer.

Again, if you believe you're going to be there when His wrath is being poured out, I don't have an issue with that. If I may ask, since you do not believe in a pre-tribulation rapture of the church, are you mid-trib, or post-trib? I'm sorry, but I can't agree with what you are saying. And I hope you are not accusing me of adding to the bible. You are also in disagreement with me, but I would never make such an accusation against anyone for simply disagreeing with my understanding.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the FIRST RESURRECTION: on such the SECOND DEATH hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

In the above scriptures, these are the Martyrs. John said "this is the first resurrection." John didn't say this is the "second phase of the first resurrection," as pre-tribbers claim.

If this is the FIRST resurrection, can there be a resurrection before this one? Of course not, unless you want to ADD to the bible

The First Resurrection is of the dead in Christ and the Second is after 1000 years. Paul wrote that the Dead in Christ MUST rise FIRST, THEN we who are alive and remain will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

    1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

16 ...and the dead in Christ shall RISE FIRST

17 THEN we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them...

In Rev. 20:4-5, John sees the souls of Saints who were BEHEADED for refusing the Mark of the Beast during the Great Tribulation. John writes that they will rise and reign with Christ for 1000 years and that this is the FIRST RESURRECTION!

the beheaded rise in the FIRST resurrection and Paul said those who are alive and remain are not caught up until AFTER the dead in Christ are resurrected, then this comes at the end of the tribulation.

As well, I've not given any further comment on 2 Pet 3:8, as I believe that I've given the natural & logical understanding of that verse as it ties in with the preceding verses, esp, vv 3 & 4.

The dialogue is from the beginning, in 2Peter 3:3, and by verse 8 the KJVReader is on the fourth day, looking to the fifth day and sixth day in Revelation 20:1-7.

It is all about perspective. You are looking at scripture as though all happened within the Universe we live in Today. The KJVInterpret looks at scripture from the beginning, everlasting first days; the second day, and third day, and considers these to be the places of origin. I can think of very few places in the KJVBible in which scripture may originate from this Universe. There is, "he made the stars also," in Genesis 1:16, and there is, "Beloved," in 2Peter 3:7,8, with the two, "thousand years'" referencing the six, "thousand years,'" in Revelation 20:2-7 having two tellings for the fifth day and the beginning of the six day in verse seven.

The Apostles creed (I believe) is not in the Bible. The Vatican wants us to believe they were responsible for it.

The Greek churches as well as Rome hammered out the Creeds.

    Part 3 NICENE CREED:

And I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father [and the Son]; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.

    [ John 15:26, John 16:13, John 14:26]

And I believe one holy catholic (catholic means universal, not Rome)

    and apostolic Church.

    [ Ephesians 4:5]

I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

    [ Acts 19:4, Acts 22:16, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Mark 1:8, John 11:25, 1 Peter 1:3, Revelation 20:6]

Revelation 20:13 and they were judged every man according to their works.

The you say, Jesus Christ doesn't decide our salvation, we do.

Stan, did you take upon you the sin of the world?

Stan, is it by your grace we are saved?

I believe in Christ only comes salvation and there is no other name given by which man is saved.

We come unto the Father only through Jesus Christ.

Are you sure when we've done all we can do we save ourselves?

Christ said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

James 2:18-20 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Revelation 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

Revelation 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Revelation 20:12 and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

John Greetings, When I was in public school in the 1st grade we had bible reading and prayer in Jesus name. Almost no crime and people respected each other. the USA was like leave it to beaver and the andy griffin show of mayberry.

Look into the Noahide laws as they are on the books and they are just not being enforced yet. These laws were first signed by Reagan as president. They call it "education day" godless education without Christ more like it.

This was to honor Rabbi Schneerson who practiced kabbalah. look up chabad Lubavitch Kabbalah and get an education of what they really believe. The penalty for violating the Noahide laws is beheading.

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark...

Churches use the Latin word Rapture, (that word is not in the Bible) when they are talking about the resurrection.

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Revelation 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Reading Ezekiel 28:12-19, Matthew 25:41, Hebrews 2:14 and Revelation 20:10, it is apparent that the end of Satan is destruction in the lake of fire. There is no savior for fallen angels. Thank the LORD that he so loved us and provided his Son Jesus Christ to pay the penalty for our sin.

Revelation 20:10 tells us that the Devil, with the beast (anti-christ) & the false prophet will be cast into the Lake of Fire (not hell), and be tormented day & night forever & ever. I understand that Satan & his cohorts will finally be banished into this fiery lake & therefore sin & suffering will no longer be the unholy blots on humanity. In hell now, Satan has a field day bringing the majority of mankind into its burning bowels; but at the time of Jesus' reign on Earth, he too will be suffering eternally with all those who have not bent the knee to Almighty God & made Christ's sacrifice something to be despised.

Read Matthew 24 and look at all the earthquakes lately. Look into the Noahide laws that is on the books in America. They are not currently being enforced yet. Ask where the noahide laws are in the Bible. The laws given to Noah. They exist only in the minds of rabbis. look into the punishment for breaking the noahide laws and then read revelation 20:4
then ask that question again. People have been saying it is the end times for hundreds of years. however every day is a day closer.

So did Jesus die for Esau?
Malachi 1:2-3, "I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.." John 15:16, "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you..."
who made the choice? the apostles or Jesus?

Luke 8:10, "And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand." ( Matthew 11:25)
Not every one was given to understanding the things of God

    Just to be sure . . .
This does NOT refer to the Calvinist (anti-Biblical) doctrine of election in connection with the equally false and demonic doctrine of limited atonement (the humanistic assumption that Christ was/is inadequate).
Also, the second death to which you refer is the eternal descent into the devil's appointed torment and its total separation from God.
Those dead in Christ who are not in the first Resurrection will rise to stand judgment after the Milennium, and those who are dead outside of Christ are contained in what is called "Death and Hell" . . . These are cast into the lake of fire forever.

Also in the same breath JESUS warn us of the sin of blaspheme which is crossing the line of no-return, meaning we boldly straight jacket oneself so deeply into sins until.... see the Revelation chapter 17 and 18, also see Revelation 20:21.
