Please pray for my son Michael M. He is going through a great deal and really needs Jesus to lead him in the right direction of life. Guidance and Direction in his life to be able to discern between good and evil..To make correct judgments and not to be persuaded by the world or its standards...To be used by God fully and to be around true believers in Christ who will be able to nourish him mentally and spiritually. To bring the right mate in his life who loves God with all of her heart.. Thank-you!

Always enjoy reading your posts Mishael. Sharing truth about how you were in your life, and how the Lord changed you, shows a miracle. As many of us have great Testimonies of our lives. It really does help others through us sharing them. Showing how the Lord can use even the worst people. Save, and change, them/us to glorify His marvelous love for us all. God Bless you brother.

    Hello Chris,

Thank you for your interest in the comments you are hearing. I was very happy to hear that you have "come out from among them", the religious ones that keep the vast majority of folks stifled and in darkness.

I went thru nearly every denomination known to mankind prior to finally ending all religion from this life relying upon God to teach me either by Himself within or using other members of the Body of the Christ to edify when times seemed rough.

You are exactly right regarding what you are calling "sinless perfection".. That simply means one is now "righteous" in the eyes of God, in other words, sinfree.

That does not mean that I will always be doing things other people like because the mast majority of folks that do not have this understanding will never like me no matter what I say or do. Trump is a good example of that.. No matter how much good he does, those that hate him will never ever give him one ounce of credit for anything good that he does.

It is fine with me when you disagree with some of the words I say that you hear. I was the same way with others for a number of years. The important thing is, God is faithful to those that He knows have completely turned their lives over to Him

The cross was far more than a payment for sins, as you are saying, in a nutshell.

His resurrection made it possible for us to be resurrected from that old life while we are alive in the here and now in order to be servants of God and Jesus Christ.

The vast majority of religious folks believe and are waiting for a future event to happen never understanding that future event is waiting for them at the cross..

Have a great day Yours In Christ, Lynn

    Hello Richard,

You are mistaking what you see as prideful versus what I see as the power of Christ that dwells within me.

This would be similar to Adam & Eve in the garden believing that from the moment their eyes were opened once eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, that their belief changed. Prior to eating they were never ashamed of being nude and never believed God saw anything wrong with their being nude. The moment they ate they saw themselves in a while different light and tried to hide from God believing he saw their nudity as evil. In other words they tried to project what they now were seeing as evil onto God and we know that is false.

Same story still going on today. You see me as being prideful for the words that God has me speak, not understanding that via Christ in me God sees no sin. Why on earth would God send His Son to die the way He did unless He had a perfectly good plan for why He did it?

Until you come to a full understanding of the fact that sin was not imputed in Adam's time because there was no Law for sin until the time of Moses and then get a full understanding of how it is that the Covenant Law God gave to Moses to give to the Israelites "defines" sin, you will never be able to fully understand the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Being humble is knowing that God rules ALL His creation at all times. In other words, As a servant of God and Jesus Christ, I know, everything I say and do is exactly what God has me saying and doing. I rarely ever see anyone else with the belief that they are servants of God and Jesus Christ. The vast majority of folks I speak to are serving only themselves and that to me is sad

Thank you for your response. Lynn

To Stanjett on Genesis 41 and your dream. Your comment is a year old in reference to your dream of winning 100 thousand dollars. Even so, I pray you did not follow through with giving your personal information to an entity that you could not prove. Sounds as though someone was attempting to scam you. We are to be wise in our walk with Jesus.

It is very hard for us not to judge others. As Christians we should not "judge or condemn" anyone. This will be performed by Jesus at judgement.

We should pray for all of our brothers and sisters in this life, including Catholics, and everyone else.

    Matthew 7:1

"Judge not, that ye be not judged."

    God Bless.

Please pray that my mother will grow strong enough to undergo surgery and that her heart condition will improve. Pray also that she, a former catholic, will come to a personal saving relationship with her savior. Praise God she seems ready!

Please pray that my tenant and friend will become a Godly man and do right by me...he works a part time job fit for a boy and is 3 years behind in rent. Pray, I will have the strength to ask him to leave if he does not improve his position...it's been 11 years.

Praise God for his love and mercy...for I would not be standing without it!! God Bless those who pray!

    Dear Minou,

May God bless you and keep you through this challenge. Will pray for you to persevere through this valley and that you will also do your part in staying in the Word, reflecting on the positive blessings you have Phil 4:8, and also realizing that you have freedom in Christ and gifts in order to help others. People always feel better about themselves when they help others feel better, so what have you done lately or what can you do to help others? Have you been putting on the armor of God and keeping your shield up to protect against the enemy, against negative thoughts? If it's smokey where you are how hard would it be to go where there's no smoke for a little while? What is the opportunity in this situation that maybe you haven't recognized yet?

Paul was shipwrecked, in prison, tortured, starving, persecuted, but he was content and filled with joy. Why? Our external circumstances don't dictate our joy, but our mental attitude and our interpretation of things. Have you watched the video of the man with no arms and legs who is a motivational speaker who travels the world? These are just some of the positive things that are beneficial to reflect on like Philippians 4:8 says. You face challenges but you are not alone, you have God. Pray.

    God bless!

  • Mishael on Ephesians 2 - 5 years ago
I'm gonna testify a little here. However it happened, I grew into adulthood with great knowledge of all manner of occult subjects. I had plans to grow and expand an internet business to sell horoscopes. People that opposed me, I would think of them as...dead. My doctor would ask me how it's going (all cheerful-like); I'd say I kinda feel like killing my spouse, and the kid too sometimes. I'm not kidding: he'd encourage me to take up basket weaving classes, as he wrote out unlimited refills of Valium for me. I'd swap my pills with friends pills and I was a drugged mess. However my craft at making charts was well received. It lasted a long time. I managed to make a Christian angry for doing charts on his kids. He asked an entire church to pray and fast for me, ONE day.

My life began to unravel like an onion. Every shred of security I had was cruelly taken away. I did a big study on karma. I was now divorced. All I had was drugs and alcohol to keep me numb to what was happening to me. NEVER think that fasting and prayer do not accomplish anything.

If you have child-like faith, You can change The direction of people's lives. Hate and anger at them accomplishes nothing. Believing in God to do something, WILL. If you push your plate aside and pray for that somebody; God is going to act on your Faith and behalf. He loves you!!

If you can't pray a Catholic Church into rubble, you CAN ask for Catholics to come in here to find truth they are yearning to hear. Have you got some Bible you can teach them? Railing at people just drives them away.

We are all just a lot of hot air if we don't have some Bible truth on the inside of us. When I see that spirit of superiority rear it's head...it reminds me of me. Full of hatred and hell; but full of great NEED.

Pray, Fast, for 1 day: get ready to see a miracle!! Do I love Jesus? I want to be the rug HE rests His Holy feet upon.

    Goodnight.

I don't think there will ever be a consensus of the exact dates of our Lord's Birth & Death as it's not revealed in Scripture. I think most arrive at their findings from considering the start of Herod's rule, age of baby boys at that time, the start of John the Baptist's ministry, Jesus' age (30) at His Baptism/ministry (approx.), the Passover timing which was strictly adhered to by the Jews, etc. Some have even looked closely to past lunar eclipses, comets, earthquakes, etc. to establish a timeline. Even with all this, no one has come up with clear dates that can be agreed upon, which of course may be for a Divine reason. Who knows!

  • Chris - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
Betty, there are a couple of Scriptures that I know of, that direct a Christian's manner of speaking:

Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers." Even though 'corrupt communication' could be perceived to be too general, in Greek it actually refers to 'rotten, worthless, useless, depraved'. I would think that using swear/bad words would fall under this meaning as speech that has no value in it that rather places the person in a baser standing. You could look at Ephesians 5:4 as well, for a similar warning which includes foolish talking & jesting. I would think 'jesting' here is not just humour but with lewdness sprinkled within.

But to answer your question: "who decides which words are bad words and how do they decide, is it just somebody's opinion or is it scripture?" I think the criteria for that would be the source or history of the word used, its meaning & its manner of presentation, both in verbal expression & context. I certainly don't know the history of those words, nor do I wish to, but every now & then something comes up. For example, what some consider a 'mild bad word' such as the extended use of the word 'blood', has its origins in either the Cross or a woman's monthly cycle. But there are other words, such as used in the Bible for 'an illegitimate person' ( Hebrews 12:8), which in itself is an appropriate English word, but when used today and against a person in an angry tone, amounts to swearing. I think you get what I'm saying without the need for further examples!

But Colossians 4:6 says it well: "Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man." I feel that this is the criterion we need to abide by: how do our words or manner of speaking affect the one hearing us - is it gentle, encouraging, uplifting, informative or 'spiced' up & devaluing us & our message?

    Matthew Chapter 12

35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

36 But I say unto you, That every IDLE WzORD that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

What the Commentary says of this verse.

    Wesley's Notes for Habakkuk 1:2

1:1 The burden - The prophet seems to speak of these grievous things, as a burden which he himself groaned under.

1:4 Therefore - Because the wicked go on with impunity. The law - The whole law, moral, ceremonial, and judicial. Is slacked - Is slighted, and not observed. Go forth - From magistrates, judges, and public officers. Doth compass about - As it were besieges, with design to oppress and ruin.
  • Chris - In Reply on Ephesians 2 - 5 years ago
True. Now if these men would humble themselves & come to the foot of the Cross thereby finding forgiveness & renewal of their minds & spirits, we might just see a peace & reconciliation through that wall broken down by Jesus. If men won't reason with with the Lord ( Isa 1:18), they certainly won't reason with one another.

    Comment:

A whole day has been used up for this controversy. Sometimes you just have to leave it on the throne that Jesus is sitting on. He is the judge. We are to make righteous judgements and on the sinning after Grace has come: this is an issue to leave with Jesus. He will undertake. Live in the light you are given. Beware of teaching Jesus's lambs something else.

    2 Peter 2:1

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

    1 Corinthians 11:19

For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

    Galatians 5:20

Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

    1 Timothy Chapter 1

5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

    6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

    8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

1 Corinthians 14:33 - For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

    1 Corinthians 12:25

That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

We are not to go to law with each other.

    Mishael
