Jesus christ the son of God has paid all our debt....everything that we deserved fall upon,he praise must be continual in our mouth by his wounds we are healed
Hello Grace, Amen! You shall not die but live & give God the glory for the things he has done. I was moved by your testimony of praise. All sickness is not unto death, but that the glory of God may be revealed ( John 11:4) This reminds me a sermon that was preached at a Church that I attended in the past, the title of the message was..." After This God Gets The Glory" and that is what I believe with you and for you. Also I heard in my spirit as I'm noting this ( Psalm 119:49-50) Read it and just get happy, and of course ( Isaiah 53:1-5) and believe the report of the Lord! Amen He sent His Word and healed them ( Psalm 107:20). Can't wait for your Praise report to come through, so THANK YOU JESUS RIGHT NOW FOR HEALING MY SISTER RIGHT NOW!! BY YOUR STRIPES SHE IS ALREADY HEALED!!! To the glory of GOD!! HALLELUJAH!!
Simply stated - He was wounded for our transgressions (became sin for us so that we could be free) - the chasti*****t of our peace He took on Himself (gives us His peace and His joy, which is His strength) - and by His stripes we are healed (faith in the Messiah healed those who believed what He would do and faith in what Jesus did He does now, like healing). We can receive these things or rationalize them until He can't manifest them for us.
He can't manifest what we doubt, even though the price has been paid.
Was writing a novel and was looking for a cross to have main character tattooed with. Came across a cross made out of two nails. in the middle of the cross was this quote: "and by His wounds we are healed." Isaiah 53:5. so I was looking it up and came to this site. What a nice site. Thank you. PS. i was looking on line at some Catholic store for different shapes of crosses for the tattoo. I liked this one best. God does work in mysterious ways. Carol
its so touching that Christ was done all this uttering no word not even a complaint and yet us people we complain so much. whilst we taking all His suffering for our sins forgranted. How do i pray from my heart that please My God forgive me my sins and make me new this day and days to come i really dont want to miss Heaven
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
The LORD is truly awesome! I had the most horrific headache from a toothache I've been having. I thought of this bible verse, laid hands on myself and I was instantly delivered! JESUS is my savior, I love him, &want the world to know
I just want to thank Jehovah for this wonderful thing. My son, Elikem was diagnosed of cancer, just after that his condition got terrible as days went by. I called on God and reminded Him of His word in Isaiah 53:5. And I testify to the glory of God, Elikem my son is now cancer free and doing good. Who can do this for me, when hope was lost? Only JESUS; thank you for the cross.
@Peace,
There are many scriptures that speak of the Grace of God, but a couple of my favourites ones are:
- John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”.
- Isaiah 53:4-5; 4 “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.” 5 “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
- Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
John 12:38 is refering to Isaiah 53:1
1 "Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?"
Notice when reading further into the chapter on 53:2-6.
2 "For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him."
3 "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not."
4 "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted."
5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."
6 "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."
Notice how Isaiah refers to himself as a different person than the Christ, even in the number of those who hid their faces. Isaiah refers to the Christ as "He" and himself as one of the "We".
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
Before we can really appreciate the victory that we have in Jesus Christ, because of His resurrection, we need to fully comprehend and understand the amount of suffering He went through on our behalf and the great price that He paid for our victory.
Matthew's gospel, in Chapters 26 & 27, gives us a detailed description of the suffering that Jesus went through for us.
1. He was betrayed by one of His disciples.
2. He suffered an agonizing night in the garden of Gethsemane.
3. He watched as one of his most beloved and loyal disciples denied Him three times.
4. He faced the Sanhedrin where the chief priests and elders rejected His testimony.
5. He endured the crucifixion and the nailing to the cross.
6. The greatest price He probably paid was that of being rejected for a time by His own Heavenly Father when He cried out "My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me".
The Book of Isaiah gives us a vivid account of the suffering that Jesus would go through because of the sins of mankind.
Timothy Wayne George on Isaiah 53:1 - 12 years ago
Who had believed the report? To whom hath the arm of Yahweh been revealed? In heaven there are three that witness to the report: God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit; their testimony is one. On earth the Water, the blood, and the Holy Spirit. If you receive the testimony of man, then the testimony of God is greater. Jesus came unto His own people, the Jews, and they received Him not. So to as many as received him, the Gentiles, they became the sons of God. I thank God that I believed the report, and received Jesus as my Savior. When He prayed Father forgive them, He included you, and me. Praise God that by His stripes I am healed spiritualy, and physically. I pray that if anyone thinks He is only a prophet, yes but more than a prophet, as He is our great High Priest, and He will come back as King of Kings, Lord of Lords. So receive Him today, and He will save you too.
Christ did not deserve this, I mean He is Alfa and Omega. For all the good He has done for human Kind this was humiliation, inhuman, sad. But as they say when days are dark friends are few! It is at that darkest moment where the once close to you turn their backs on you!
Jesus did it all for us, all I can say is thank you. In my heart I want to say more but what i don't know that many wonderful words to say. We have peace, healing, forgiveness, life everlasting, etc.. I call that a big [wow]. God bless all.
I understand that through/right through this idol (works of man’s hands) world today, God made a way for his word to get to his people, using a strong portion of the great ( Isaiah 53:12). Jesus Christ himself, the eternal godhead and the gift of salvation to all mankind... we give God the father all the glory through God the son, as we honour (respect) the son even as we honour the father ( John 5:23). This is a commandment we get from God the father through God the son... be not afraid, nor frightened! Though many will cause you to fear or stumble in/on the word of God by fear, but be you strong, for your God will save you, maybe even through death! God knows where life will take us to, God is the creator of it! Even God that is not satisfied with the death of his followers, believers, or saints ( Psalms 116:15, Psalms 72:14). Father God and Jesus Christ, help us not to be afraid of the world, protect those that trust, believe, and depend on you! Preserve us in your son Jesus Christ! Thank you father God for your truth and your righteousness, and your words that will save our lives, as the world is against us and deceives us from the truth! Lord God, Jesus that you also for the knowledge of your word and for every body part you cause to move daily for your own sake, and for the sake of your souls being edified by your words and not the words of the world. Father God, Jesus Christ our redeemer and our healer, our truths and our righteousness, our peace and our God and our king, though you desire truth in the inward parts, help us to do your righteousness that leads to your kingdom and glory now and forever by the power of Jesus Christ. Amen.
I have been struggling for sometime. But as I have been reading the word and reading Isaiah 53, I see just how mean and awful this world was to the man that saved us from eternal hell. I can get off my pretty pony and live. For Christ has paid it all for me. I need God to open doors for me and I will be willing to step through them.
My perfect hope comes to life in Christ’s perfect death. God is so wonderful. His perfect plan IS best, because he purely loves us. Thank you eternal Father. You gave us life, hope and eternity. Thank you for perfect and living Word.
He was wounded and bruised for my sin and iniquity.. thus paying the price for me...righteousness. Then he was chastised and now I have his peace. Now I can be healed both physically and mentally by the stripes he took for me. I tearfully love it.

The ways of The Lord are just amazing! It pleased Him to bruise His Servant and put Him into grief, was cut off out of the land of the living, for our sake He was stricken! Which other way could we ever be found before our Mighty Maker? Truly no other way! Jesus is The Only Way! I love Jesus, The Way to Our Father! Halleluiah! Thank you Jesus for all the grief you suffered for my sake! Thank you Jesus for taking whips and strokes of the cane for they are my healing! Thank you Jesus for dying that I may live! I love you Jesus for since you overcame death I shall also overcome it and since You live so shall I also live!!
May our Father grant you with discernment.
He can't manifest what we doubt, even though the price has been paid.
