    The book of revelation was revealed to John; the beloved disciple of Christ; who else deserve to receive this reward because John has loved Jesus more than the others disciples, his true and intense love is agape and genuine, not Evil desire on it, but love God. ( Revelation 1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;), (Revelation1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,) And even the scholar of the universities did not understood Paul when he declared that he knew a man, in Christ Jesus that was foretold things that he can not say it. ("Awesome"), By the Holy Spirit help you will know it. {

    2nd Corinthians 12:2 I knew a man, (John the beloved disciple of Jesus,) in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. (John the beloved disciple of Jesus,), 2nd Corinthians 12:3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows;), (Paul can not tell because was not his own experience, but John can and he revealed in Revelations 1:10), 2nd Corinthians 12:4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. 2nd Corinthians 12:5 Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities. (bad sight,) 2nd Corinthians 12:6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he sees me to be, or that he hears of me.}

Rick, thanks for the advice. I do stay with the The King James version and though I get bogged down in the "speech" I still keep going. I am reminded of the scripture Jesus said one time I believe it's in John 16:13 "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:...." (or Comforter as He said in the prior chapter) or Holy Ghost as he said in John 14:26:"but the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,..."anyway I am comforted in the fact that though I may fall short in understanding the Word of God, the Holy Bible, I know the Holy Ghost that I have( with the evidence of speaking in tongues) will lead me into all truth, and show me things to come. In Christ's Love.

    Hebrews 11:5

"By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God."

    Ecclesiasticus 44:16

"Enoch pleased the Lord, and was translated, being an example of repentance to all generations."

    Genesis 5:24

"And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him."

SO WAS ELIJAH: 2nd Kings Chapter 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 2nd Kings 2:12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. (ELISHA was witness of it.)

Question on Hebrews 4:11 Another aspect of our rest in believing is in Philippians 4:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. The more we walk in Him the more he works in us. We need to be as committed in our faithful walk as our brother Jesus Christ that's the rest. Walking by the spirit is more inspiration than perspiration. In His Service

Adam when God formed him from the mud of clay of this earth; God added to it; his breath of life, that was life eternal, and a soul to control human kind body. But God decided to made him in his own image; in the image of God was Adam created, eternal. God set a free will challenge in front of his own life eternal, and said from all the trees in this Eden Garden you could eat but from the tree of Science of good and Evil you can not eat, not a touch the fruit of this tree, because from the very day you touch it and eat of it, you will lose your life eternal and you will become dead in time, day by day you will live until you died of old age, because the disobedience. That is why we die everyday of our life and is passed by our DNA, to our sons and daughters. But Now we have hope in Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of the Most High God, who died for the pardon of all our sins because the Grace of God, As Jesus died and resurrected to a life eternal again, so we will have this hope in him; who posses the well of life in him. Those who obey him, believe in him, trust in him, in his second coming will be changed into life eternal, to live with him in heaven at his New Jerusalem, the city of God; read Book of Hebrews 12:22 to 29 and Isaiah 33:14 to 24.

If you will Google the word, purgatory, you'll find out how that teaching originated.

The word purgatory is Not in the King James Bible.

The Catholic Church teaches on purgatory.

    You need to decide if you want to follow rituals and dead works;

or do you desire to be a FOLLOWER OF JESUS CHRIST, THE MESSIAH.

You need to read the Book of John in the approved KJV Bible. Base your decision on scripture alone. Investigate on Google how the KJV came to be approved? Be convinced. The salvation of your mortal soul depends on that choice.

In Christ or OUT. Easy choice. Don't procrastinate. Jesus is returning real soon.

Carleton Brother when we are born again we have Peace with God Romans 5:1 through what Jesus Christ accomplished we became sons or daughters of the most High spiritually why would you not have great peace with that.

You ask how do we know I know because It Is Written! to question this is like questioning if your righteous if your justified if your sanctified and the answer to all is ABSOLUTELY that is what was accomplished by Jesus Christ. In 2 Corinthians 5:20 Gods Word says we are Ambassadors for Christ, in 5:19 it says we have been given the ministry of reconciling men back to God. Either we believe the completeness of what was done and act accordingly or we stagnate in thinking this is too good to be true. I'll stick with believing. In His Service

Question Hebrews 4:11 Context is in regards to believing consistently in the accomplished work of Christ, the Children of Israel even though God showed them incredible signs of His power they kept disobeying because of their unbelief, therefore an entire generation fell in the wilderness due to unbelief. When we believe with consistency that God will meet our needs by everything accomplished in Christ we can no pun intended rest assured that all our needs will be met. Philippians 4:19 But my God Shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I put it simply Let Go and Let God. In His Service

All good questions Brother Jesse! So how do we know? A Christian at rest in Peace will have a peaceable Spirit and the Grace to go back and make needed corrections when that Peace diminishes. A possible stirring inside one's heart is that Grace to make amends with Man as much as possible and with God so that we remain reconciled by His Peace and our rest in that peace.

In Matthew Jesus said as in the days of Noah so shall it be when He comes. Does that mean the nephlem will be here? With the government saying that there are UFOs could the antichrist be a nephlem? Rev. 13 says who is like the beast?

Wonderful bible scripture that show us that Jesus is God.

    John 1:29

"The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."

    John 1:1

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

    John 1:14

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

    Revelation 1:18

"I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."

    Revelation 1:8

"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."

    I believe!

    God Bless.

At the point of salvation, we enter into God's rest. It starts back at verse 1 talking about God's rest. When we get to verse 10, the writer is going back to creation. He's saying if you surrender to Christ, you will be doing just what God did. You will cease from your own works, your own efforts, at your own salvation, you will cease from your own works, and you will enter into God's rest.

In verse 11, the writer says, Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, and it's as though he's asking the question, do we want to put a focus on something? Have we entered into that rest? Have we received all that Christ has done for us? And have we surrendered to Him?

Lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief, fall short of that.

PM Angels are spiritual messengers sent to do the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ work or you have the other side messengers of the devil biblically known as devil spirits. They are spiritual beings with beyond human power, but remember at the name of Jesus christ every knee shall bowel in heaven and earth. In His Service

Thinking of a past experience well ahead of becoming a Christian. I was (a long time ago) a very strong bicycle rider and had recently crossed part of the country heading towards growing up home when I became sick. I was not able to finish the ride and bussed the rest of the way. Once there I called to say hi to old riding partners and was soon invited to a club ride in an area I had never ridden before. I took off strong with the pack but within 15-20 miles I could not keep up feeling weak and fell off the pack. I had no idea where I was and where I should turn next but kept riding forward. After awhile I could see a rider coming my way and it was my good friend. He grabbed my bicycle seat and pulled me miles ahead all the way back to the pack where I completed the ride with them.

    God bless our faithfulness!

Question: In 1 Peter 1-21, who specifically is "God" that raised Christ? Is it a.) the Father, or b.) the Holy Spirit, or c.) Christ himself, or d.) some combination of the Trinity?

God bless you and all on this site.

    Thanks you for the clarification.

John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for (my Father is greater than I).

Matthew 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless (not as I will, but as thou wilt).

John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but (the will of the Father which hath sent me).

Chris In my observation at any given point any comments given we can be correct biblically in one area and incorrect in another, not that any of it is intentional, I figure we do the best we can and God covers the rest. I keep in mind we are dealing with perfect knowledge, the knowledge of God, hence we are not perfect but He is. Also as I stated before we have a saviour who walked via the spirit 24/7, I'd be thankful to pull that off for 3Hrs. a day. Thank God we agree that He paid for all our short comings i.e. sins. Because of sin and iniquity the city of Jerusalem, and temple has been ransacked and the walls destroyed. The royal family has been taken captive and scattered. So much has transpired and all had been prophesied by Jeremiah and the prophets. Even as our country cry out in aguish for the glory of God, but they do not want to truly worship the Lord as He so rightfully deserves. Instead we question God's motives and intentions. Many will not worship God, the Lord Jesus Christ because they claim He does not have the true love for us. They wish Him to stop the hate, and killing. Not realizing that all the sin in the world is because of our own evil, fallen nature. Thank you Lord for your great love and compassion, but especially for your patience. Help me to desire your truth and grace this day. Praise your Holy name.

Please shine your face upon us; bless our walk in you and help us to know you intimately through your Word. May this day be the day of grace for many.

Hebrews 4 is an amazing chapter for teaching us how not to mix soul energies in our walk with the Lord.

As I ask for revelation on this, my previous question is answered by the Spirit. I walk by faith, not by the

sight (and feel) of my soul's faculties. It may appear that we are doing very little "for the Lord" at all

no matter. His work is mighty through our poverty. Praise the Lord!

The Word Stick with the original kjv the more you get into other modern translations the more confused you'll become, keep something in mind, they translated according to what they think it means. The King James Translation is a very comprehensive piece of work given by men committed to what they were doing. In His Service

  • Question on Hebrews 4:11 - 4 years ago
Can anyone shed light on Hebrews 4:11, where Paul says, "Let us labor, therefore to enter into that rest" how to labor in this way, without falling into "works consciousness." Is it us laboring? or God laboring in us? Is God's laboring felt or known by human faculties? Thank you.

    John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    John 1:18

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

    1 John 4:9

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
  • WHY WOULD A HOLY GOD BUST IN ON OUR WORLS - In Reply on Revelation 17 - 4 years ago
Kevin, have you been born again? Working with the Holy Spirit you can be comforted and know that power is available to you to stand in these evil days.

Everything that's happening, Jesus told his disciples and the whole world through them. Everyone receives power in their prayers. He doesn't keep secrets. Matthew 24 and Luke 21; book of Revelation. The end is written in 2 Peter chapter 3. EVERY PERSON ON EARTH has an opportunity right now to lock arms with Jesus Christ and escape the End of Days. One of the final signs is the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem; with Israel's enemies surrounding it.

The world hates Israel just a bit more than the United States.

On YouTube, search Revelation Station Movie. It's actors with scads of news and movie clips; with sound effects of the trumpets that will make your skin crawl.

These aren't those lame Rapture movies of the 70's. These are high tech like what our Military has now: missiles, nukes, drones. Space weapons.

RFID CHIP technology, and much more. Our ability to snuff out ourselves is frightening.

Anyway, the signs are happening and everyone must either choose Life with Jesus, or Death with Antichrist
