In Galatians 2:7, Paul writes, "But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;"

Paul seems to be saying there were two gospels. What's the difference between the gospel of the circumcision and the gospel of the uncircumcision? Why were the two gospels separated, and why was Paul commissioned to preach the gospel of the uncircumcision and Peter commissioned to preach the gospel of the circumcision?

    RE: MUTT

are you looking for proof these books are authentic and that scripture does not refer to books we do not have in modern day believers hands. you need no signs and will be given no signs YHWH is not a Jester or some conjurer of black arts HE IS THE ONE AND ONLY LIVING GOD WHO GAVE HIS SON TO DIE FOR OUR SIN.

its simple go home with God and believe or deny and burn, simplified. He never forces any to make a decision its your choice believe it or don't heaven is up to you.

    Romans 1:22 Context

19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

    2 Corinthians 5:7

When Jesus mentioned the babes and sucklings it was prophetic of a Israel of God that were gonna be born in us via the seed of Christ, Outa the mouths of babes and sucklings thou has perfected Praise .Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in which is the Child of Promise the H.G. The Israel of God. But Isaiah is very bold and says a lil Child is gonna lead them which is the H.G the CHILD OF Promise. New jerusalem is the Kingdom of God as Hebrews 12 says you are come unto mount ZION THE CITY OF THE Living God that heavenly Jerusalem and to a hugh host of angels etc same same. When he mentioned the babes and sucklings thats his Children that are gonna be born in us via his seed etc the Israel of God. When David mentioned a ppl that are gonna come and be born and declear his generation thats the Israel of God. Remember Jesus said the GOOD seed ARE THE children of the Kingdom. that are gona be born in US SINNERS VIA THE SEED OF Christ. the H.G. the children of PROMISE. Outa of the mouths of babes and sucklings thou has perfected Praise which are the Children of the Kingdom the Israel of God our new innerman. Our Praise is too tainted by our old adamic nature.

The Christ knew the time, He knew today, yesterday, tomorrow ,even unto the end of the world! With every bit of energy He had in Himself we see his love for it all! This was the reason He came and did what He must do. Not only for himself , but for the Father, who sent Him. His life and time would take 33 years. From the moment He came into the world you see your Father like never before!

This is the Glory He speaks of. This unspeakable glory of the love for it all! For you, and me, the love that would conquer hell itself! The love that would dismiss , end , the sin that would separate us from Him! This is the Glory we all want to see, we all want to feel, we all yearn for.

You can have this glory, though it may be only for a moment. The moment that you have here on earth, before you see Him ,and spend eternity with Him! This moment is timeless, though for a little time, will turn into eternity. Receive Him! Take hold of Him , while you can! See Him as He is! This is love, endless love for you and me! Repent and be baptized

Contend for the faith that once delivered to the saints is different than having faith ?

E.g. I have faith that if I apply myself diligently

To bible study that I will find the bright faith.

Now with that being said I also have to have faith to study the right bible . For not all who believe do not as the scripture hath said

Lemme give ya my understanding on the israel of god, its very simply ,its that which is born of the spirit the h.g. immanuel the promise seed ( the seed of christ ) natural israel was the result of abrahams seed right but the israel of god are the result of the seed of christ . i will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven which is the seed of christ ,now unto abraham and his seed were the promises made but he says not unto seeds plural ( natural israel ) but unto 1 seed which is christ, thus its christ that is gonna be multiplied as the stars of heaven and thats y the sower of that good seed the living word will go forth to sow his seed in all the world, he said the field is the world ,go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature which are the words the contents of that book in the fathers right hand that he wrote with his own blood that has been sealed till the last days read daniel 12. just as natural israel was the result of the offering up of isaac, abrahams only son, the israel of god is the result of the god almighty offering up his only son jesus, the cross , they are spirits ,the h.g plural that are gonna be born in us sinners the children of promise, behold i send the promise of my father upon you which was baptism of the h.g. there were 2 promises 1 was earthy and 1 was heavenly, abrahams natural seed was earthy but christ and his seed is heavenly ,as we have borne the image of the earthy we must also bear the image of the heavenly which is baptism of the h.g. via the seed of christ,we are just a joint heir with the h.g. the real israel of god that is gonna be as the stars of heaven ( our new innerman ) is spirit th h.g. that child of promise, immanuel god with us,which is the israel of god from the seed of christ, the living word. my lil children of whom i travail in birth again till christ is formed in you, which are spirits th israel of god. read isaiah 49 you will see a heavenly jacob coming which are the israel of god.

    Cont: Facts:

    Genesis ch 36 esp. v 8

    Mal. ch 1 vs 2-4

Book of OBADIAH GOD's anger towards the Edomites for aiding Babylon.

    Ezekiel ch 35 esp. v 15, ch 36 esp. v. 5. Isaiah ch 34

"Gentile" It is used to replace "goy". A latin word from gens meaning "family "

ie...of the same tribe or group

You will probably think it means " not a Jew ". That is what you are told to believe.

Genesis ch 10 in the KJV states:- "the isles of the Gentiles". You will note that Genesis ch 10 is BEFORE even Abraham. Abrahams son Isaac had 2 sons called Jacob and Esau. Jacob would be renamed as "ISRAEL" ( Gen 35 v 10)

The Jews claim "goy" means Not a Jew......what in Gen ch 10 ? There were no Israelites for 2 generations hence so how can that be so?

The problem :- The whole world church teaches that Gentiles are "non Jews"......and therefore the ASSUMPTION that JEWS must be Israelites !!! So throughout the Bible...with this false belief...every reader thinks verses like Isaiah ch 49 v 6 (or ch 42 v 6 ) or Matt ch 4 v 15 etc all refer to Gentiles......when in fact they refer to ISRAEL " a light to the Gentiles....the same clan as being spoken of !

Jews are not Israelites. Jewish Almanac 1980 states:- Strictly speaking it is incorrect to call an ancient Israelite a JEW, or to call a contemporary JEW an Israelite or Hebrew". (They know..but Christians do not !!!! )

Number ch 20 prove no Jews at Sinai.

JESUS John ch 8 speaks to "the Jews" v. 32 "The truth shall make you free" . In anger they reply: v 33 " We are Abraham's seed and never in bondage " V 37 JESUS AGREES about Abraham....BUT..ALL ISRAELITES were in bondage in Egypt and all were also in either Assyria or Babylon. Thus the Jews are NOT ISRAEL - but of ESAU..EDOM. GOD's enemy. Read ch 8 v 44. and Rev. ch 2 v 9/ 3 v 9. Open your eyes...we ARE Israel ! Isaac's sons....(Zac's sons.....Saxons) To Rick: sorry..Deut ch 32 v 26.

Dear Rodd please read John 8. 12 saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 9.5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

That reffering too if it is some thru beliver left on earth. And much more is too be discovered. God bless you in Jesus name.

But i'll understand the English language is taking about Me in i am as well. That can be confusing. And it nothing too discussion about actually.

    Continuation:-

Re the word "JEW". Up to this point the word "JEW" was perfectly ok !

It simply referred to " ALL residents of JUDAEA" Peter..in Acts ch 2 vs 5-14 goes some way to prove this. He describes "JEWS" in v 5 as traders/people from anywhere in the world ( ie. NOT ONE RACE of people ) as "JEWS" - and addressed them as :- "Ye men of JUDAEA" v 14. These were the visitors..the core of people were Edomites living in JUDAEA. (see previous comment) ( You may also like to note that in v 22 Peter calls ONLY "Ye men of ISRAEL" to repent and be Baptised" )

    BUT !

In 19th century the Zionist Movement was gaining ground and power...and it decided it wanted Palestine. But to do this, they needed to impress their history on us all and so changed the definition of a JEW. No longer as it was....ie of JUDAEA" but they claim of "JUDAH". and added saying that a JEW is "anyone born of a Jewish woman ( !!!) ...or a convert to Judaism". Many Bibles were still in Latin...and education was lacking..so it was easy for them to persuade the churches of a "slight amendment " (!!) re the word "JEW". Of course, the introduction of antisemitism was a help !!! ( 1850 AD ) .

Now I will NOT go further along this thread I hope you understand that it leads to 1948.....but I will say that one should be careful with knowledge and how to handle it.

What I will do now is begin to give the PROOF of what I have written FROM THE BIBLE..and much of JESUS Himself and GOD HIMSELF.

A side track :- JESUS warns (eg. Mark ch 7 vs 5-13 ) of the "traditions of the elders"......ie. Judaism ..which came out of Babylon:- Rabbi Stephen Wise - about 1860-1940 - an eminent Jew in New York - said :" The return from Babylon and the adoption of the " Babylonian Talmud ( oral )[ ie tradition of the elders]...marks the end of Hebrewism and the beginning of Judaism." Believe it !!!!

    I will continue.......

Would you help me understand how LORD God (Gen.2) could have created the beasts after he created Adam, but BEFORE he created Eve, but God (Gen.1) created the beasts before both Adam & Eve?

Also, why were the plants created BEFORE man in Gen.1, but in Gen. 2 it was AFTER Adam had been created?

By the way, it's not the validity of the Bible I dispute, but the interpretation of it. Most people say God & LORD God are the same being, but how can that be when the order in which they created things is contradictory?

    Thank you.

Folks....I have several responses...some rather in advance of my own comments which are far from complete ! : eg. to Chris I say : I would think that Israel in exile in Assyria would be a place "without godly guidance"...referring to your remark about "lost sheep".

To Rick, RLW, Adam....thank you but give me time to explain these things ! Having done so....I will then give the proof of the BIBLE. s.

The letter "J" was invented in the 16th century...also too early for usage in the 1611 KJV. ie. "JESUS" was spelt with a capital (i) John as Iohn, etc.. But this is beside the point.

In 586 BC the Kingdom of JUDAH was ended and the men of JUDAH were exiled to Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar was aided by the Edomites to do this.....and GOD was furious...with an everlasting hatred. (Mal ch 1 vs 2-4 ). Jerusalem was left empty so the Idumeans moved in and occupied it. ( Edom - Idumea, was adjacent, south of JUDAH so it combined and YES, in the days JESUS walked in the world, ..the two "countries " were as ONE !! ( Yes, there were the John Hyrcanus's and other skirmishes for the land ....but in JESUS' days on earth Edom and JUDAEA were "ONE" kingdom under the Herod kings...the "sons of Antipater of IDUMEA. You should remember that the 4 Herods between them wanted to kill JESUS -as a baby; they killed John the Baptist; they killed James the brother of John; they tried to kill Peter, they killed Stephen, and they killed JESUS CHRIST.

The land had been renamed as " JUDAEA" by Babylon and it existed from 586BC to 135 AD when Hadrian -sick of the Jews- humiliated them by renaming JUDAEA as Philystria..Philistine.

Back to modern days.......So the word "JEW" was 1st used in the Bible from about 1765 ish and the Blaney version of the KJ was one of the first 1769 !

IT MEANT :- "ALL inhabitants of JUDAEA"..... NOT...NOT of "Judah " JUDAH was finished as a kingdom. I will continue from here. ! Give me time !

Rick, I apologize, I think I may have been misunderstood. I was referring to the whole Bible when I said; "I stay with the King James version, meaning all the scriptures from Gen. 1:1 to Rev. 22:21 and everything in between. Including what you quoted and even what Paul said earlier in Gal. 1. Even Paul's conversion(revelation) as you mentioned, wow what an experience!, let's look at that. Paul (a Jew) a believer in the one Jehovah, Lord, God Almighty getting knocked down, blinded by a light, being told, after he asked who it was (rhetorically), that it was Jesus ( Acts 9:1-8). Then was instructed to go to Damascus and there a preacher would tell him what he needed to do ( 9-18 ) to complete what ever the Lord had for him, even being baptized ( Acts 9:18 ). Yes! I would agree with what he said in vs 12 of Gal. 1. He also said in Rom. the 6th chapter that we are buried with Him (Christ) in baptism, and another time he wrote in Eph. 2:5;"Even when we were dead in sins; hath quickened us together with Christ,( by grace ye are saved )" vs 8; " for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: vs 9 not of work lest any man should boast." Time or space will not permit me to mention: Phillip. 2:5-11; Coloss. 1:13-17 or 2:8-12; 2 Thess. chapter 2; Hebrews ( don't know if Paul wrote it, like to think so ) chapters 8,9,10....so many, all good stuff. In Christ, God Bless.
  • WHO IS THE TREE OF LIFE? - 4 years ago
Do you think God is senile or remiss in How he chooses to deal with the WHOLE HOUSE OF ISRAEL?

So you need to explain why God seems not to move boldly and decisively? Woe. Is He to blame for turning his face away, as Jesus hung on the cross bleeding out for the sins of mankind.

We were just uncircumcised Gentile dogs, until we received His Salvation; prepared before the foundation of the earth. By His death, we're we grafted into his death and resurrection.

How do we smugly stand here and think ourselves better than the Jews? You skipped over the part where it says WE ARE ALL GRAFTED INTO ONE TREE even JESUS CHRIST.

    Ephesians 4

3 Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

    4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of ALL who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

That's his plan. If we do not pray for the (known Will of God Almighty)pray for the peace of Jerusalem the scales will fall from eyes and earsthey will finally see their Messiah. I wanna see a real Jewish style hoedown in Heaven :D (Can you tell I'm Texan?) lol

All these things we write about our Jewish kin, will be reviewed at the Bema Seat. Faith in Gods Word helps us put off prejudice and put on Praise.

Everything I know comes from sitting in a closet with the Holy Spirit. I cannot convey with words how close we can get to Him. All he needs is one person to believe in his mission from Jesus. Jesus brought Him to us at no small sacrifice. He didn't baptise us and load us up with reference books. He gave us the Holy Spirit!!!

    Luke 12:31-32

Did you notice that the Tree of Life was moved from Genesis to the Book of Revelation?

Matthew 15:24: "But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel".

The Greek word for lost, 'apolummi' (in this context) refers to those of Israel who were perishing/ruined, being devoid of godly teaching & guidance that should have been the blessing, comfort & guidance of the sheep. It would be incorrect to think that Jesus was speaking about those dispersed & lost into the nations. Just adding this, since you asked.

    Deon,

Thanks for the response. I completely agree with you that Hades is not Hell. I also agree with your description of Hell. I used the word Hades because that's the word the Greek text uses. The word Hell in Luke 16:23 is the word Hades in the Greek text. There is actually only one place in the Bible that is actually Hell and that's the lake of fire in the book of Revelation, the final destination. In fact, Hades will be emptied out into the lake of fire. The word Hades means the place of unseen spirits. No physical body, just spirits.

Prior to the death of Christ on the cross, when a person died they went to a place called Hades. For the ones who will eventually be sent to Hell, they were on one side, and the saints waiting for the Messiah to come for their salvation were on the other. Scripture tells us that there was a great gulf fixed between the two compartments of Hades. No one could ever cross over from one side to the other. Today, there is only one compartment to Hades and it is full of those who are waiting for the final judgment, and they will then be cast into the lake of fire. There is no hope of salvation for them. Those who die rejecting Jesus Christ will no longer have a chance at salvation after death. Ephesians Chapter 4 tells us that when Jesus died that for three days and three nights He was in the heart of the earth. He was down setting the prisoners free. He was down in Hades on the side where the saints were with Abraham.

As a matter of fact, in Matthew Chapter 27 it tells us that when Jesus rose from the dead, many of the Old Testament saints were seen walking through the streets of Jerusalem because He the raised them up. He went down there and preached to them (the OT saints), and told them that their salvation has been purchased for them and they will now be with Him in paradise. These were the saints that were with Abraham.

I'm out of space here. Would you like me to address the second part, along with the verses you sent?

My God Jehovah is "terrible"; meaning in this case- His is awesome, great, wonderful to behold, beyond anything we can think of, amazing, awe inspiring, astounding....

However none of these terms do justice to describe the true greatness and majesty of the Lord Jesus Christ, God Almighty.

Praise the Lord. May the Lord shine his face upon us; May His blessedness be continually upon all who call Him Lord and Savior. May we truly await His coming even in the face of all the turmoil and grief we go through.

    Romans 9:11

(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to ELECTION might stand, not of works, but OF HIM that calls)

    Romans 11:5

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the ELECTION OF GRACE.

    Romans 11:7

What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the ELECTION hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded ((the Jews))

    Romans 11:28

As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

The law so designated by Paul ( Gal. 3:24, 25). As so used, the" "word does not mean teacher, but pedagogue (shortened into the" "modern page), i.e., one who was intrusted with the supervision" "of a family, taking them to and from the school, being" responsible for their safety and manners. Hence the pedagogue was stern and severe in his discipline. Thus the law was a "pedagogue to the Jews, with a view to Christ, i.e., to prepare" for faith in Christ by producing convictions of guilt and "helplessness. The office of the pedagogue ceased when "faith" "came", i.e., the object of that faith, the seed, which is" Christ.

    GALATIANS 3

But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

24 Wherefore THE LAW was our SCHOOLMASTER to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

25 But after that FAITH is come, we are NO LONGER under a schoolmaster.

26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

***28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are ALL ONE in Christ Jesus.***

Rodd The line of believing came through abraham and the tribe or nation of Israel it was absorbed by other kingdoms because of disobedience to God and the Term Jew started to apply to peoples out of Judea. That doesn't change the truth that Jesus christ came out of the believing line of the Nation of Israel. That's why He said He came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel because that's who the Promised Messiah was coming out of. In His Service

    Rodd,

The way I understand this, Jesus came for the lost sheep of Israel, to fulfill the law, the prophets, and confirm the covenant. Jew, the term "Jew" did not even appear until the southern kingdom of Judah was taken captive of Babylon. Jew is an abbreviated slang term for Judahite. Today most people consider anyone in the religion of Judaism a Jew.

The Jew back then were those who were in the kingdom of Judah/Judea under the laws of Moses and came to Jerusalem to obey the feasts and they all were called a Jew. Jesus was of the tribe of Judah which would make Him a Jew.

Jesus spent time in Judea but left Judea for Galilee when John the Baptist was arrested, to allude the Pharisees and Sadducees not Jews. The people in Galilee were Jews also. Samaria that was in between was mostly the tribes of Israel that had mingled with Assyrians

The house of Israel is all the tribes, after the divide, the kingdom of Israel and the kingdom of Judah both is the house of Israel and the lost sheep is from both.

I know this does not answer all your questions but may it help.
