I have received Jesus Christ within my heart and I am now a born again child of God . God upholds all things by the word of His power. When I confess Jesus as Lord in my life , I have exercised God 's power in believing and speaking into existence : therefore I have received power of God to act as my Lord and Savior.

JESUS OFTEN GAVE HIS DISCIPLES PARABLES SO THEY CAN GET SOME SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING! IN THIS PARABLE FIVE WAS WISE AND FIVE WAS FOOLISH! MEANING FIVE WISE WAS READY FOR THE COMING OF THE BRIDEGROOM CAUSE THEY KEPT OIL FOR THEIR LAMPS, WHILE THE FIVE FOOLISH DID 'NT CARE ABOUT KEEPING OIL ON THEM AND RAN OUT! THE SCRIPTURE SAID THAT THE BRIDEGROOM TOOK A LONG TIME BEFORE HE CAME TO SEE THE TEN VIRGINS BUT THE FIVE WISE STAYED READY BUT THE FIVE FOOLISH DID NOT! SO WHEN THE BRIDEGROOM CAME ONLY FIVE OF THE TEN VIRGINS MADE IT IN! WE AS BELIEVERS OF CHRIST MUST NOT RUN OUT OF OIL WHILE WAITING FOR HIS RETURN! WE MUST CONTINUE TO FILL OUR LAMPS WITH THE OIL OF THE WORD SO OUR LIGHTS WILL NOT GO OUT! Mathew 5:14 -JESUS SAID, "WE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD, A CITY ON A HILL CANNOT BE HIDDEN "! WE CANT AFFORD TO LET THE LIGHT OF JESUS GROW DIM IN THESE LAST AND EVIL DAYS! TOO MANY SOULS ARE AT STATE FOR US TO RUN OUT OF OIL IN OUR LAMPS! LORD FORGIVE US FOR LETTING OUR OIL RUN AT TIMES! LORD HELP US TO UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF KEEPING OUR LAMPS FILLED WITH THE OIL OF THE WORD!AMEN! GLORY BE TO GOD!!!

It is a prove that Jesus was the real lamb of sacrifice for our sins, through his blood we are cleansed, through him there is salvation .and whoever belief in him will have everlasting Life.
  • Mike D on Psalms 119:23 - 10 years ago
This verse seems to be a continuation of verse 22. The psalmist is under attack from some of position yet he simply clings to God 's word and will not let present circumstances move him from his hope in God and his reliance on Scripture.

The sins of the people were transferred to the lamb whose blood was shed for forgiveness of their sins once a year for there was always a need to shed blood for forgiveness and now a better covenant, a permanent covenant, through Jesus Son of God who took our sins upon Himself as a perfect Lamb, Holy and unspotted, once and for all and shed His blood for our sins, a lasting covenant. Glory to God! Thank You, Jesus!

John 3:5 as God says verily verily i say unto you except a man be born of water and of the Spirit He cannot enter into the kingdome of God. Jesus is leading us to the Living water the word of God. We must delight ourselves to God first and be Born Again in Spirit and not in the flesh. We must accept God 's words and obey them. Jesus is the only way the truth and the life no man comes to the Father except thru him. Amen we must praised and thanks to Jesus precious blood that shed for us. His Resurrection, His Ascencion and thanks to the Holy Spirit that sent us. God is good all the time and he is worthy to be praised. Amen
  • Rocky on Romans 12 - 10 years ago
In the old testament it was an eye for an eye. When I was of the world I loved this saying. I was down with it. Now that I 'm in the Word I know that Jesus want 's us to do totally the opposite of what the world would do in any of these given situations. In the beginning doing Gods will is extremely hard. It would break my heart to be nice to a person that did 'nt deserve it. I started doing his will to show him that I loved him. There were many times that I failed and I felt so bad . I asked God to bring that situation again and I would do right by him. Believe me when I tell you the situation would come back until I passed with flying colors. Now doing Gods will is part of me I don 't have to think about it a million times before I do it. When you do Gods will you go to another level of Gods glory. Your relationship deepens. You and God are inseparable and everything about you is better. I know.

  • Bro. Daniel FC on Galatians 5 - 10 years ago
Bro. Daniel FC on Ryan Jashua Shepperd 's comment about verse 4: how totally impossible it is to SIN our way into heaven Hi Ryan, are you saying that keeping the Ten Commandments is sin? Last time I checked, sin is the transgression of the law 1John 3:4 : not trying to keep it. In his letter to the Galatians, Apostle Paul is talking to the new converts who were misled by those maintaining that you need to be circumcised in order to be saved. Please don t confuse the Ceremonial Laws fulfilled by Jesus and rendered obsolete with the Moral Laws, which every Christian must live by. Yes, we are all saved by grace only and no one can boast. In Romans chapter 7, Apostle Paul makes it clear: 7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. 12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good . Lip service only, to God, is not going to be enough. According to Jesus Himself: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity Matt. 7: 21, 23 . The word iniquity according to Strong s concordance has the following meanings: 1. the condition of without law 2. because ignorant of it 3. because of violating it 4. contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness. Remember: We keep the Moral Law not in order to be saved, but BECAUSE WE ARE SAVED AND LOVE THE LORD. Does that make sense to you?

I like versus 1-3. I am legally blind and I herd this chapter on tape a few years ago. I felt like Jesus was talking directly to me. I was born partly blind to do Gods will in my life.
  • MockingBird on Nahum 1:7 - 10 years ago
Truly the Lord God is Good , and that is saying it mildly cause I really cannot comprehend the totality of God 's goodness : Nevertheless I can have a taste of it here in this life : Oh !!! taste and see the goodness of our God. God also knows whether or not I fully trust Him : I do Trust in the Lord with all my heart. He is my strong hold : my Shield : my High Tower my Buckler my deliverer my healer : my protector : my Preservation : I am preserved : I cannot spoil : I am kept in safety wherever I go. The list goes on and on : Oh : Taste and see that the Lord is Good.

Hebrew 12:14 is a verse, a weapon, a tool, an artillery, a secret but influential weapon, a shield around an obedient child of God....... most importantly a dose for long life and enabler to enjoy prosperity. Thanks

  • Priest Vallon on Psalms 91 - 10 years ago
Almost 100 years ago, during World War I, the 91st Infantry Brigade of the U. S. Expeditionary Army was preparing to enter combat in Europe. Because their commander was a devout Christian, he assembled his men and gave each of them a little card on which was printed the 91st Psalm, the same number Psalm as their brigade. They agreed to recite that Psalm daily. After they had begun praying the Psalm, the 91st Brigade was engaged in three of the bloodiest battles of World War I - Chateau Thierry, Belle Wood and the Argonne. Other American units that fought in the same battles had up to 90 percent casualties, but the 91st Brigade did not suffer a single combat-related casualty.
