Reasons For Keeping The Sabbath

Ex 31: 13 Speak thou unto the children of Israel, saying, verily my Sabbaths you shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that does sanctify you.

Ezek 20:12 Moreover also I gave them my Sabbaths: and they shall be a sign between me and you,That ye may know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.

Ezek 20:20 And hallow my Sabbaths: and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your GOD. God's Holy law is as unchangeable as his throne, and is from everlasting to everlasting,

It may not matter to some what day you keep Holy. But it matters to God! Their has only been one day sanctified Blessed and hallowed by God it is Saturday.The man of sin, it is declared in Daniel, "shall think to change times and laws,"

Rev 14:8 And their followed another angel saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city ,

because she made all nations drink of the wine of the of wrath of her fornication. The fourth commandment says REMEMBER the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy. Please pray for me, my job as a Medical Debt Collector has gotten hard due to covid 19. I am struggling my numbers this month. I am under $20K for the 1st time in 2 yrs in my collections! This is very embarrassing me. I need to be over $20K to secure my job and between $25K-$35K to bonus well. I have to take a lot of verbal abuse. I wish the Father would bless me with the funds to have an annuity or bond to live off of for the rest of my life. So, I can stop working. I have lost everything and everyone that may have care about me.

Because we focus on Sunday and Sabbath and concentrate around Sunday and Sabbath only. We did not understand anything.

We have search the scripture thinking that in them we have eternal life ( John 5: 39) but we did not understand, see and know God and God's ways.

It does not Matter if anyone worship on Sabbath or Sunday, but if one can faithfully follow the laws and words of God in the Bible can control himself to be right with God and later when dead can have eternal life. He or she will keep every days (1 to 7) holy and be right with God. This will be the true meaning of Sabbath and the Commandment and Sunday.

I apologize for being stern but what the majority of the church/denominations teach regarding sunday and the commandments dont add up compared to scripture and i dont understand why

Why do all churches and perishoners keep sunday holy when the bible clearly commands that we keep Saturday holy i know its man made tradition any Gregorian calendar shows sunday is the first day of the week( not the seventh) we are commanded by GOD through the bible to keep the 7th day Saturday Sabbath holy not sunday we can thank the roman Catholic church for this tradition we are all supposed to be in protest against her i want you to show me were we are commanded in the bible to keep the venerable day of the sun holy as imperor constatine did and made it law its mans law and his tradition please give me scripture to back up sunday sacredness and commanded observance of it

THE WOMAN IN REVELATION 12.

Here's a verse that is widely debated. I think we can determine by looking at the description of her, and the series of events concerning her in Ch 12 and prophecies pointing to those events in the bible. "you'll need your bibles". VS 1, the description, "She was clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of 12 stars". If we go to Genesis 37:9-10. Joseph dreams and Jacob answers this one for us. Now compare the events in prophecy to Revelation 12. VS 2, She's travailing in birth pains, Isaiah 54:1-5. Is 66:7, ( BEFORE SHE TRAVAILED, SHE BROUGHT FORTH; BEFORE HER PAIN CAME, SHE BROUGHT FORTH A MAN CHILD.) Also look at Micah 4:10, and Micah 5:2-4. Revelation 12:14 say she was given 2 wings of a eagle, a phrase the Lord uses throughout the bible concerning Israel, Exodus 19:4' Isaiah 40:27-31. Deuteronomy 32:10-11. Look at Paul concerning the Israelites in Romans 9:5, "Whose are the fathers, and whom as concerning the flesh Christ came. THE WOMAN IS ISRAEL, Not the church. The church did not exist until after the child was born died on the cross raised the third day went to the father then gave the Holy Spirit to the believers. Thank you.

Yes, we get an indication of the physical Satan in Ezekiel 28:12-19. Though Ezekiel is directing his prophecy to the King of Tyrus, we understand that through the description of his wickedness, the picture of Satan (& specifically Satan's former position in Heaven as a 'cherub' & 'having being in the Garden of Eden') clearly show us a dual meaning to this prophecy. Yes, Satan had beauty & perfection (verses 12,13,17) & as a cherub, that position is normally associated in being in close proximity to God's Presence (as in the Tabernacle on Earth & over the Ark of the Covenant), & in relation to God's Holiness.

Why did Satan go bad? Verse 17 tells us that his heart "was lifted up because of his beauty". Not that he always admired himself 'in the mirror', but his heart was lifted up against the Most High, believing that he was as good or better than God. See Isaiah 14:12-15, & particularly, that he was perfect, Ezekiel 28:15 (sinless, as all the other heavenly beings), until his pride took over & he believed he was better than God. But the big question: how was it possible for Satan to sin, & can other heavenly beings likewise sin? It seems that even by being in the Holy Presence of God & finding complete delight in worshipping Him, there can still be that element of choice. For in his pride & estrangement from God, he also gathered to himself other 'defecting' angels (see 2 Peter 2:4; Revelation 12:7-9; Jude 1:6).

We see Jesus in His humanity, though pure & sinless, He was tempted of Satan (Matthew chapter 4). Jesus resisted Satan using God's Word against him. However, Satan was in the presence of God & His Word in Heaven, yet allowed the thought of grandeur to enter in & develop into sin ( James 1:15) & finally a full blown wickedness that saw him banished from God's Presence & ever since, working against God to bring & keep humanity in his solid grip. But the Cross of Jesus brings us release from that grip - if we can only trust Jesus for it.

But this is not mentioned in the Scriptures. All we know is that the woman in Revelation 12:1 represents Israel, who gave Christ to the world ( Rev. 12:5) and who will be persecuted severely during the tribulation ( Rev. 12:13).

Oh yes, I believe Satan knew full well what the implications of Jesus' death & resurrection would mean to him & to everyone caught in his snare of sin & pursuing sinful lives. But the 'nature of the beast' drives him to put into effect every skill & trick he has to try to out-smart & out-do God's Divine Plan & Power. He knows that ultimately he won't succeed & will be defeated ( Revelation 12:12), but as we say, "he will go down fighting to the very end". That is his nature - that is his singular focus: to keep mankind estranged from their Creator & to be subservient to him, the destroyer of our souls.

Satan knows that the Cross is not some idle, ill-advised plan of God, because He knows the Nature of God, him being once considered as a 'covering Cherub' ( Ezekiel 28:16), which implies his previous position associated with God's Holiness. He knows the Power, Wisdom & Holiness of God, and that his character would always be deficient & defective as a result of his pride, sin & fall. But will that knowledge stop him believing that his greatness is comparable to God, that his wisdom & power can put up a good fight against God's Holiness & that the more he can deceive the World & gather them to himself, will translate to him being the victor? We were not unlike him, as once the children of the devil, how easy it was for us to consider ourselves more superior to others, not as bad sinners as others are, our righteousness will secure Heaven for us, that success in wealth & receiving man's adulation ought to be our present pursuit & enjoyment, etc, etc. The qualities of God & of Satan are diametrically opposed to each other. Our present pursuit, with our renewed minds & spirits, are only towards the things of God & not to the one who came to steal, kill & destroy our lives.

Of Judas: for the sake of prophecy, his actions by Satan's influence had to occur ( Matthew 27:9,10 & Zechariah 11:12,13). By the way, in Jewish reckoning, many prophetical books came under Jeremiah.

I have a son Bobby ( 32 years old) who has been through many rehabilitation programs for a drug addiction that is out of control. I have daily prayed for him to overcome this addiction . I am so worried that he will not ever be able to get closer to God and will go to Hell ! I love him and don't know what to do ! He was saved and baptized and now he doesn't want to hear God's word or listen to God's music ! "I am homeless, jobless a victim of domestic violence and need the help of the lord to open a door for me to find a place to live and a work from home position to afford myself and take of myself independently again. I bless my family for there help. For many, many years they have sacrificed so much and given me the little that they have to help. Which I praise the lord for giving them a helping heart like that. However, But I would like to be able to have dollar in my pocket, that was not given to me by them, but one that I worked for and obtained on my own. Because I finally have my life back on track. I am tired of feeling my homelessness burdening them. Which is the VERY reason they've so WISELY (as a serpent) sabotaged me when I was sure to succeed in growing stronger via's "GOD's GYM--" building up my heart, soul, and mind with the meat of the word, and updating my soul's GPS system with GOD's laws, statutes, commandments and ordinances--that I may know in certain situations which path will lead me AWAY from GOD, and how to stay ON HIS...straight and narrow path. How can I be strong in the spirit--save I work out in GOD's GYM--a Gold's Gym for spiritual warfare?

Wherefore I am weak, and I am not well-pleasing to the LORD. I am impotent--ineffectual as an employee (fellow laborer) in His kingdom. But WITH His word in me--then--His Son will be in me, and His Holy Spirit--as I have seen in the past--will speak to me in all situations--or at least most--reminding me of how to navigate a rough road...GOD's way, by recalling scripture to my mind. This is how God the Son "fought" the Devil...and won/succeeded when HE was tempted--He just...with every temptation from Satan--spoke the words of the Holy Bible. He did not rail against that wicked thing--He rebuked Satan via the power of GOD through His holy word.

How can I follow Christ/be a CHRISTian...emulating the Master, when fighting the Devil and his seed, if I don't have the GOD's word in me?

Wherefore I've requested you all beseech the LORD that He bless me to learn without being stopped, hindered, harrassed, and tempted and provoked unto my undoing and unto my failure. My enemies have the power of GOD--albeit via devils and at THAT via the Devil. GOD is all powerful, and giveth power to whom He will, and taketh away power, and status, and anything else from whom He will, or at least alloweth it to BE taken away.

ALL is up to GOD--as that king reported in Daniel 4 (and Daniel 3 as well). GOD is able.

Please pray that Christ and His Father and Holy Spirit will come into my heart and remove the internal anger from abuse, and remove my stony heart--replacing it with a heart of flesh, that I may "love my enemies," and FORGIVE them. If I do not forgive them, I cannot be forgiven by GOD.

Please pray that GOD will PLEASE put a stop to the abuse and stop my abusers from sabotaging my efforts to get hired (at a job or multiple jobs). They ALWAYS destroy both me AND whatever efforts that I put forth mine hand to do to get hired...ALWAYS. GOD has ALLOWED this, in addition to allowing them to stop me from attempting to grow in the LORD by learning what behavior is good and comely to HIM--via His word.

I JUST want to be a "GOOD CHILD" to Him, His Son, and His Holy Spirit--obedient and well-pleasing. His ways keep people me from a lot of worldly traps set by Satan--unforgiveness being one of them. Please agree with me in prayer, that GOD will have mercy on me and make my abusers stop harming me, and destroying my employment and personal/private Holy Bible learning & studying.

GOD IS! And if HE wills a thing to be--it WILL BE! It is up to GOD--He controls ALL! Just as He showed King Nebuchadnezzar in the 4th chapter of the Holy Bible book entitled Daniel, and too, in the 1st chapter of the Holy Bible book entitled Job, and just as He showed the Egyptians in the Holy Bible book called Exodus. So too, as He showed in countless other books--even His Son--BEFORE being given ALL POWER by Him--had the power to control the sea and the winds upon it (Matthew Chapter 8, Verses 22-27 aka Matthew 8:22-27)!

I have been a FOOL--as Job's wife--and I rebuke my own tongue and GOD has taught me by rebuking me/punishing me in the past for such folly wrought against Him--as an immature child disrespecting their GOODLY Father!
