Richard H, IMO, I believe that Elijah and Enoch will be the two witnesses in Jerusalem. After all, they would be the only two men in history that did not die (aside from the ones who were taken to Heaven by Jesus upon his return) but they will die at the hands of the Beast's Israeli servants. Moses died and amazingly enough, he may have even wrote that before he did as he is the purported author of the Pentateuch.

Yes if the Lord was not on my side I should have fallen many times to destruction. I can look back over many years and see this is the case . In Jude He reassures us that no challenge is too great . Verse 24
Does God use vessels of dishonour and nations to perform his will?
I believe so, here's a few reasons why
Romans 9:18-23.
Habakkuk 1:5-11. Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.
For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not their's.
They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves.
Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat.
They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.
And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.
Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.
Another question asked is there such things as demon possession?
Here's what I believe and I'm not sure if it classifies as demon possession.
I believe there's ministers of Satan.
2 Corinthians 11:14-15.
These are amongst us everywhere we go and can be identified as tares. Matthew 13:36-42.
EVIL SPIRITS.
Satan is the prince of the world and he influences the flesh. the natural man. and the nations.
1 John 4:1-3.
These tares may also be seen in Jude 1:1-25.
You can't always identify these tares with their Doctrine, some of their Doctrine sounds very familiar, but what they "seem" to believe in doesn't humble them and in areas of baring fruit they seems to be lacking. This causes a closer look at their theology and you find them taking a sharp left on the path.

This is not an attempt to start a new thread on demonic spirits or evil spirits.
I just wanted to share just a few scriptures on them and why I believe they exist and are amongst us.
Their mission is to lure you away or distort the truth in DIVERSE WAYS!! ( Their Doctrine may sound a lot like yours, IF they believe the Doctrine of truth they will bare fruit. )

2 Corinthians 11:13-15. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Matthew 13:37-40.
Notice who planted the tares?
I believe God with his sovereignty and foreknowledge uses vessels of dishonour to accomplish his will.
Romans 9:17-23. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
HATH NOT THE POTTER POWER OVER THE CLAY, OF THE SAME LUMP TO MAKE ONE VESSEL UNTO HONOUR, AND ANOTHER UNTO DISHONOUR?
What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the VESSELS OF WRATH FITTED TO DESTRUCTION:
And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
I agree with Adam if the angels did not have free will, there would not be any that disobeyed. Satan is the great accuser and as we see in Job 1:6 and Job 2:1 he presented himself along with the sons of God in heaven, and we know Satan had sinned.
My understanding is like Luke, they have not been cast out but will be cast down permanently with no more access to heaven, this has not happened yet, Revelation 12. Then the rise of the beast out of the bottomless pit to whom Satan gives his power, seat, and authority on earth.
There are angels not on the good side that have access to earth, Satan has power on earth limited by God, and devils/demons that scripture does not say how they got here or where they come from. Battles go on we do not see, like in Daniel 10. There is another group of angels different than the ones that have fallen but did not leave their first estate.
Their deeds were far greater, they left their first estate and left their own habitation 2 Peter 2:4Jude 1:6. These angels are locked up in chains of darkness, the bottomless pit, and have no access to heaven or earth. This is where the beast that many call antichrist will come from Rev. 11, 17, and where Satan will be locked up for 1000 years, Rev. 20:3.
God is light and there is no darkness in Him, and God is not author of confusion. Adam and Eve had sin but after they were cast out of the garden they were still in the presence of God because Cain went out of the presence of the LORD.
The exact origin of the Nicolaitans is unclear. Some Bible commentators believe they were a heretical sect who followed the teachings of Nicolas-whose name means "one who conquers the people"-who was possibly one of the deacons of the early church mentioned in Acts 6:5. It is possible that Nicolas became an apostate, denying the true faith and became part of a group holding "the doctrine of Balaam," who taught Israel "to sin by eating food sacrificed to idols and by committing sexual immorality." Clement of Alexandria says, "They abandoned themselves to pleasure like goats, leading a life of self-indulgence." Their teaching perverted grace and replaced liberty with license.
Other commentators believe that these Nicolaitans were not so called from any man, but from the Greek word Nicolah, meaning "let us eat," as they often encouraged each other to eat things offered to idols. Whichever theory is true, it is certain that the deeds of the Nicolaitans were an abomination to Christ. They, like the Gnostics and other false teachers, abused the doctrine of grace and tried to introduce licentiousness in its place ( 2 Peter 2:15, 19; Jude 1:4).
Jesus commends the church of Ephesus for hating the deeds of the Nicolaitans as He does ( Revelation 2:6). No doubt the leaders of the Ephesian church protected their flock from these destructive heresies and kept their people from committing the same evil deeds. All sin is hateful to Christ, as it should be to His followers, as we hate men's evil deeds, not the men themselves. For the church at Pergamos, Jesus had not commendation, but censure. Unlike the Ephesians, they actually embraced the teachings of the Nicolaitans ( Revelation 2:15). Jesus warns them that unless they repent, they are in danger of the judgment that is sure to fall on those who teach false doctrine, attack His church, and destroy His people. The sword of judgment is poised over their heads, and His patience is not limitless ( Revelation 2:16; 19:15).
I'm not sure but those in Gen 6 may be this group.
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but LEFT THEIR OWN HABITATION, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Jude 1:6.
LEFT THEIR OWN HABITATION,
I believe that means they sort of disrobed sort of speak or lost their position and perhaps some of the supernatural ability.
" Like disappearing and reappearing
I'm not sure, but I don't believe we have baby Angels running around disappearing.
But who knows, some say one day we're going to have a baby Holy Ghost. Maybe it's one of them.
Thanks, I agree, many will burn in the lake of fire, but no one will be cast into it until Rev. 20:15 not before. I believe this is a parable and you do not and that's ok. If we look at the context, Jesus was directing it to the Pharisees who was highly educated, who was being snooty.
I agree the story fits Greek mythology but in the Old or New Testament scripture does not support an after-death place we go before resurrection; I have not found one verse that says we, as man, go or are taken to heaven. Do you know one?
My understanding of scripture death is sleep; scripture tells us there is no knowledge of time until we are resurrected. Greek philosophy of death from Socrates, Plato, death is the separation of the soul/spirit from the body that is falsely said to be immortal. This has (in my understanding) intertwined into Christianity teaching.
There is only one group of angels that are locked in chains of darkness, the ones in 2 Peter 2:4 and Jude 1:6. These left their own habitation, and God locked them in darkness for what they did against God's creation. Satan, other fallen angels, and devils/demons are on this earth even today.
In Matt. 27 it just seemed different to use another word for resurrection than the Greek word "anastasis" used all the other times for resurrection. It was John 5:25 When Jesus said the hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and shall live. These are the ones I believe when Jesus cried out came out of their graves. John 5:28-29 will be the final resurrection. Hope that makes since.
The different times in Mark and John I will have to go with everything else that was written. There is not a contradiction between John and Mark, Jesus was nailed to the cross and stood up on the 3rd hour, 9AM the same time the first lamb of the Tamid was put on the altar on Passover day, the preparation day for the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, a sabbath day.
I feel it isn't worth arguing the validity today of spiritual deliverance as it applies to the church. God may choose to manifest differently much of the time in this part of the church age; but Satan never sleeps ( 1 Peter 5:8); so by default neither do his minions; although it seems he doesn't have to work that hard today the way people are so depraved. I am reminded of the verse "without a vision the people perish". ( Prov. 29:18). We must be pure at heart to see the Kingdom of God; and strong enough to have become Ephesians 6 "Full armor" candidates to do any real spiritual damage. This of course requires much prayer; and occasional fasting as scripture also showed with the demon infested boy who tried to drown himself.
There is argument as well as to whether a Christian can be possessed or just oppressed. I have certainly in my subconscious been attacked since being a Christian. In any case; when we fail to be proactive in praying against the temptations that are common to us all (although I can't find the verse) we are weakening ourselves as a Body. We need to pray for the Spirit to remove those things that bind our brothers and sisters in the Lord; and which blind others from the truth who God is calling to come to the cross. If the enemy can block prayer; then all the events which are planned are lackluster and missing the power they could have had otherwise. We need to also recognize how Satan works through our family and friends; those opposing the Gospel; fellow workers; those on the street who are blaspheming God; finances; and a myriad of troubles which take our focus away from the Gospel. We need to repent of sins; or God will allow a stronghold to make us miserable. We also must forgive others; as scripture indicates 70 X 7.
We must realize as Jude stated we DARE not go after Satan with a railing accusation ( Jude 1:9). We appeal to Christ or we are dead meat basically. He will lead us to those needing prayer
Even the word "devil" can be translated as "to divide."
The devil loves chaos. Ever since his fall from Heaven Satan seeks to divide the world. His first action was to divide the angels, which was followed-up by tempting Adam and Eve in the garden, driving a wedge between the first humans and God.
Division is the devil's playground and it shouldn't be surprising. The word "devil," comes from the Greek word diabolos, which can be translated as, "to divide," "to separate," or more literally, "to throw against." Whenever we see division occur in the world, especially division that pits one group in society against another, we can affirm that the devil is in some way behind it. He wants us to destroy ourselves and hatred against other people is one of the fastest ways we become the authors of our own demise.
Jesus, on the other hand, desires unity.
I pray not only for them, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, so that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me. And I have given them the glory you gave me, so that they may be one, as we are one. ( John 17:20-22)
The Holy Trinity is the prime example of unity and communion, something we will ultimately participate in if we reach Heaven someday. Heaven will essentially be "communion," where we are unified not only with God, but with each other.
Above all, we need to strive for unity in truth, coming together to fight against injustices with charity. If we can stay united together under the leadership of Jesus Christ, we are able to thwart the plans of the devil.
End article.

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. Jude 1:4.
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, "THAT THEY MIGHT BE MADE MANIFEST" that they were not all of us. 1 John 2:19.
These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
A FALSE WITNESS THAT SPEAKETH LIES, AND HE THAT SOWETH DISCORD AMONG BRETHREN. Proverbs 6:16-19.
Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. Romans 16:17-18.
This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. Titus 3:8-9.
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. Jude 1:16-19.
Albert Gen 4 Yes cain was adam and eves son by flesh and blood but then read Jude 1:11 then you read about the way of cain and you read what influenced him spiritually. Thats why God made cain a vagabond because he was wicked spiritually not
I have thought about these issues for the 40 or so years as a Christian. Here's my outline:
1) People who are walking in the Spirit who are not fallen asleep. These are; in all honesty the minority in most churches today.
(See Malachi 3:16-18 to understand this issue of those written in the Book of Remembrance and their characteristics).
2) People who are of faith and lukewarm. It would seem that for some; even backslidden believers around right now; that they will miss the Rapture if indeed it is a REWARD issue and not merely a salvation one. Such verses as Rev. 3:4-6 and 18-19 seem to show garments made white; and that further on in Rev. 7:9-14 it would seem that indeed these are believers whose garments were NOT unspotted as Eph. 5:27; Jude 1:23 and others who needed to bear fruit in the Tribulation (word comes from the word Tribulum which has to do with a quick wheat harvest in the hot sun).
3) New believers: Since the nation of Israel has had the truth hidden until the fullness of the gentiles comes in Rom 11:17-29 then it stands to reason that at least the 144,000 if not parts of the countless multitude are new believers. One third survive "going through the fire" ( Zech. 13:9).
4) The lost. These will sadly include those who did not LOVE the truth in order to be saved...notice they had to have intellectual knowledge first to become reprobate like this. These will no doubt believe that Antichrist is Christ or the first seal rider or believe in UFO invasion or some other lie. There could be some who never heard the gospel but it seems that it will be very few.
In any event ALL those whose names are not written in the Book of Life before the foundation of the world will take the mark. ( REv. 17:18; etal).
The separation with Israel itself will likely sort those who are into mysticism such as the Kaballah; and the Talmud from those who are looking strictly for the Messiah from the O.T. I believe for mass revival the rapture must happen

Lake Mead has dried maybe to expose the evils & cleanse it. Many have prayed for years for truth exposure & crimes solved. Didn't you know there are springs of water all around that area, even going into Death Valley? & a natural underground water Basin, that flows into parts of California. Trust GOD as we see HIM work out HIS mighty will. Stop looking to anything else as your sources. Also there are several methods of cleaning sea water into drinking water, even used in Space for Astronaut survival. Huntington Beach California wanted to implement during 2016-2018, but illegal immigrant votes in the area stopped the process with petition. Many also continued to waste water, disregarding most laws, opened my eyes to what "lawlessness" is. And lawless men & women in high positions, protecting their lawlessness. Understand, Satan is so powerful that he convinced 1/3 of all the angels that were present when the foundations of the
earth were laid, that he could take God. We, are, according to scripture, "currently" lower than the angels. You think there is something you can say or do to "restrain Satan" or "rebuke" him. As a matter of fact, Jude 1:8-16.
Even other angels, greater, by far, than any living human, won't lay a single accusation at the feet of Satan. Instead they say, "The Lord God rebuke you." " I rebuke you..." Is going where no angel will ever go. They're not stupid. Daring to rebuke Satan is like daring to stand in front of a freight train and yelling stop I command you in the name of Fred my janitor."
The format isn't stop in the name of the law/Lord either. Its, Lord, please build a hedge around us and protect us from the damage of Satan, fallen angels and demons. Let your influence reign in our lives and the lives of those we seek to influence for your kingdom.
Remove the word "I" from all of it. Even in "The name of the Lord." Be smart. Don't revile angelic majestic, even in His name. Ask God to do it directly and be done. I, personally, do fear to go where Arc Angels, the most powerful angels of all, fear to tread. Ask God to do it and be done. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.
If taking all I am, all I gave, all I love and care for brings you glory Lord, have at it. I live for you. Job... It's about Him being glorified. None of this is about me.
Jesus gave instruction, I'm not aware of scripture in the Psalms specified for that. But David who is accredited as author of many of the Psalms written in the Bible, was able to have an evil spirit leave Saul, by playing music. 1Samuel 16, however this seems different, because note: 1Samuel 16:14, 1Samuel 15, note 1Samuel 15:23,

Doug , you bring up a great point that almost no one teaches on , much less has a clue about. So you have provided a number of verses on "clouds" allow me to provide a few more that will open things up for you and all else who read this.
Psalms 104:3 " who maketh the clouds his chariot" .... that is the KEY to the clouds . A cloud or clouds plural are actually referencing his chariot and fleet of chariots in Psalms 68:17 "The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels:
the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place." 20,000 chariots would be a flying fleet of aircraft/spacecraft, as he comes down from heaven and maneuvers through the skies of earth. Look at Isaiah 66:15 "For behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his CHARIOTS....." this is at the second coming ! This clearly ties in with the armies in heaven which follow him in Revelation 19:14
That should open things up a little for you. A detailed study of the Mt of Transfiguration where a cloud comes with the Father in it bringing Moses and Elijah.... "and they feared (the disciples) as they (Moses and Elijah) ENTERED INTO THE CLOUD".. Like 9:34. Yeah, I bet they did. First off, Moses was resurrected - Jude 1:9. Elijah went up in a chariot in 2 Kings 2. They then return in one of these Cloud-Chariots with the Father to talk to Jesus before his death. This fulfills the prophecy Jesus gave the week before about some standing here not tasting death till they see the kingdom of God .... Matthew 16 end - Matthew 17:1-10Mark 9:1:10 Luke 9:26-36
As for the Ascension of Christ in Acts 1, it is likely the same cloud of the Mt of Transfiguration, as Jesus goes to sit on the right hand of the Father. This doctrine is virtually unknown to most all Christians, much less those that teach or preach to them. Thanks be to God I happened across a website a few years back where the late Patrick Cooke laid this all out in detail. Opened my eyes quite a bit.
Obviously, Peter, James and John see the kingdom coming at the Mt of Transfiguration. John especially, the Book of Revelation.
Compare all 3 passages of Matthew 17:1-9, Mark 9:1-9 and Luke 9:26-36.
Remember, Moses had died and God had buried him. Michael the archangel goes to get his body Jude 1:9
Elias (Elijah) was picked up by a chariot of fire 2 Kings 2:11-12.
They are returned by and re-enter a "cloud" where the voice of the Father is heard, Luke 9:34-35. Note the Father must have been in that cloud / chariot.
The clouds and chariots connection is found in Psalm 104:3 The clouds typify the chariots of the LORD which number 20,000 Psalm 68:17.. notice they are "as in Sinai", Moses time in Exodus. Of course the Cloud in Exodus performed as an aircraft / spacecraft as it came down from heaven and then did many aerial maneuvers.
When the second coming happens it is referred to many times as a "day of clouds" and in Isaiah 66:15 it involves "his chariots",
which is a fleet of at least 20,000 - Psalms 68:17.
Moses and Elias represent the Law and the Prophets, which is what Jesus came to fulfill - Luke 24:44 and they "spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem" - Luke 9:31
So then, Jesus makes the statement that there be some standing here which shall not taste of death till they see the kingdom of God... refers to the event of The Mt of Transfiguration event.

There are aspects of eternity that humans are ill-equipped to understand. For example, the Bible says a day with the Lord is like a thousand days on earth while a thousand days with the Lord is like a day on earth. We can let the deeper truth of that fact pass right over our heads and miss it if we are not careful. Time means nothing to God.
Enoch was caught up into heaven 5,000 years ago and yet he went straight into the middle of the tribulation as one of the two witnesses to preach this:
Jude 1:14
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
I believe those saints that were in Paradise in Jesus' day will be caught up together with living saints in the rapture and go to heaven then.
Doug sir, the descriptive background wrote here regarding this journey explains to me that you cast aside your opinions, understandings from men, church teachings, and asked the Holy Ghost to lead you in all truth. Because of this you can see more clearly what is in the Word I would humbly ascertain.
The "rapture" is a contentious item, (pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib, pre-wrath, no rapture and also inverse: removal of the wicked) I too sought answers on this. 1 Thes 4:17 The key word used in this argument is in English "caught up", in Latin "rapture", and in Greek "harpazo" G726. This same word in our KJV is used 13 times, some of interest in comparative study are Rev 12:5, Jude 1:23, Acts 8:39, John 6:15. We all have an opinion in this matter, but we are all in HIS body. Regardless of what we think, His Word will come to pass as He intends it too. Alleluia!
1 Thes 4:15 The key word here is "coming" G3952 parousia- par-oo-see'-ah
From the present participle of G3918; a being near, that is, advent (often, return; specifically of Christ to punish Jerusalem, or finally the wicked); (by implication) physical aspect: - coming, presence. (there is no 3rd coming, we are looking for the 2nd advent of Christ which is this, the harvest)
Who is the restrainer? Who is he who is letting until he be taken out the way? Jude 1:9, Dan 10:21, Dan 12:1
Our church had a Sunday school on this topic a few years back when I was in Pittsburgh. In that study; there was some discussion on the part of Enoch (the book) that is quoted here. This is a good example of how PART of an original text that is inspired is quoted; but the entire book as it exists today has inconsistencies and not in the accepted Canon today. The section about contending over the body of Moses in fact may be part of a different book; in any event the rest of the source text is cut off for some reason. It seems clear that God did bury Moses; although some say since no one knows where; and that he was one of two speaking to Christ during the Transfiguration meant that he didn't die. Elijah was said to have gone up in a whirlwind and it seems clear he and one other person (some say Moses; I would tend to say Enoch based on Heb. 9:27) will be the last day prophets. The reason for Satan's contention isn't made clear here; others can give a hypothesis. Anyway; the main point in that passage is that unlike today's world that likes to make a Hollywood image of Satan with a pitchfork; or today's musicians that like to offer sympathy to the Devil or claim we can sell our souls to him; our attitude as believers should be of deference to Christ; as illustrated by the Archangel Michael and his attitude when rebuking Satan. If we aren't Spirit filled; we run the risk like the Jews who were mauled by demons and ran off naked invoking Christ's name. Those who are in the Spirit will realize the battle in the heavenlies is to be fought on our knees in prayer.
The clear warning in the book; is that we all are to be "contending for the faith." It appears with the common salvation that the entire congregation (unnamed as well) is addressed to look out for false teachers creeping in. It is unlike; say Timothy's epistles and most other ones written earlier specifically to elders. The sin of Sodom certainly is relevant today as a main theme as well.

I suppose what you are saying is that all the earlier Pauline Epistles and writings started with these type of salutations. Since God's Word is inerrant; technically Jude was stating His original plan for the Epistle before the Lord inspired him to write on these other matters. This would; therefore make us assume that some grounding in these basic doctrines were already understood to some extent since deeper matters were discussed.
It should be noted here that this book primarily doesn't ask us to test ourselves to see if we are in the faith; but it asks us to examine the doctrines of those who creep in unaware spreading heresy. Only those knowing the truth would care enough to discern error. The pattern here is much like in ancient Israel. The spiritual forces of darkness were always trying to seduce those who were following the God of Israel from the beginning; despite God's clear warnings against the pagan practices and deliverance from pagan nations experienced by Moses and his followers. These wicked nations; when transgressions came to the full would be judged.
Our God is a jealous God; and will not tolerate idolotry; which in some capacity was overlooked in the O.T. times. The warnings against the spirits of disobedience who affected the corrupt seed of Nephilim and their descendants; and the affect of demons on people such as in Sodom to commit perverse actions is always tied in (i.e. spiritual with physical adultery). Satan will use the Word of God to bolster all false practices by infiltrating the church. He also uses control through authority and those who men will follow and women who are not firm in the truth. We are warned about tares that will spread false doctrines to entice people to fall away; but those who do were never truly with God in the first place. Eventually all true children of God hear His voice and also they will not follow another but run away. We are to guard the flock with diligence as leaders in the church.
This written to people who are to be preachers by Jude; he was in Palestine to the Hebrew Christians both to those in Palestine and those dispersed.1 chapter but covers a whole range, goes all the way back to Enoch to end of this dispensation of time.
appr. date 41-46 AD, CHRIST crucified in 28 ad would put this writing around 15 yrs after CHRIST so he would certainly likely to have 1st hand witness of his half brother CHRIST and the authority to rebuke the evils he speak of. If Jude was of age 30 for instance he would have spent at least 15 yrs with CHRIST

evil spirits that possesses those who allow it; even heads of Christian churches to deceive the people. Those who deny CHRIST, the SON of GOD, Emanuel-GOD with us denying HE is of the trinity, GOD head who died and rose 3 days later for 40 days appeared to many and is historical accounts of HIS marks and resurrection. scripture lawyers and not followers of JESUS CHRIST the savoir. Gen 6:4Jude 1:6 they left their first estate- their own principality and place of dwelling which was in darkness; are now in a bottomless pit in chains of darkness-evil spirits, where they cannot sire anymore giants are released for 5 months to pick up where they left off in days of Noe, when the 2 witnesses they kill in the arena and they rise 3 days later are instantly blotted out of existence at the sight and hand of GOD at CHRIST 2nd appearance where all knees will bow.
I am a bit confused because Jude (Paul to Jude) begins with addressing the saints but reverts in the middle to recognizing the fallen angels and the comparison to Caine. Is this for saints to question their attachment to the flesh and question the percentage of their belief? For I know we are all filthy rags striving for holiness and greater use of our spiritual language. Are we then judged by others besides Christ (10,000); is this the cloud of witnesses? The new testement is more difficult than the old, I believe to interpret.

( Their Doctrine may sound a lot like yours, IF they believe the Doctrine of truth they will bare fruit. )

Their deeds were far greater, they left their first estate and left their own habitation 2 Peter 2:4 Jude 1:6.

That's true you're right.
I believe in Angels, I also believe in demons.
Maybe it's one of them.
of course I'm kidding.
God bless.

Time of Grace article on division.

But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Hopefully these are helpful in your walk, with GOD
I believe for mass revival the rapture must happen

earth were laid, that he could take God.
1Samuel 16, however this seems different, because note: 1Samuel 16:14, 1Samuel 15, note 1Samuel 15:23,
Please read & study these:

Hopefully these are all helpful
Matthew 16 end - Matthew 17:1-10 Mark 9:1:10 Luke 9:26-36

God bless you,
Josh
The clear warning in the book; is that we all are to be "contending for the faith." It appears with the common salvation that the entire congregation (unnamed as well) is addressed to look out for false teachers creeping in. It is unlike; say Timothy's epistles and most other ones written earlier specifically to elders. The sin of Sodom certainly is relevant today as a main theme as well.
God bless you and all you do brother.

We are to guard the flock with diligence as leaders in the church.
appr. date 41-46 AD, CHRIST crucified in 28 ad would put this writing around 15 yrs after CHRIST so he would certainly likely to have 1st hand witness of his half brother CHRIST and the authority to rebuke the evils he speak of. If Jude was of age 30 for instance he would have spent at least 15 yrs with CHRIST
Half brother of CHRIST and brother of James the lesser the author of James whom both CHRIST say are brethren(brothers) Mat 13:55; Mark 6:3, Act 15:13, Gal 2:9, Gal 1:19
Whole of Jude warns us of evil spirits and fallen Angels that Enoch spoke out against .
Jude 1:4-Fallen angels Gen 6:1,2,3 and Satan denied CHRIST and have ever sense and sentenced to judgement for denying CHRIST. .
evil spirits that possesses those who allow it; even heads of Christian churches to deceive the people. Gen 6:4 Jude 1:6 they left their first estate- their own principality and place of dwelling which was in darkness; are now in a bottomless pit in chains of darkness-evil spirits, where they cannot sire anymore giants are released for 5 months to pick up where they left off in days of Noe, when the 2 witnesses they kill in the arena and they rise 3 days later are instantly blotted out of existence at the sight and hand of GOD at CHRIST 2nd appearance where all knees will bow.
