A chapter to trust in God through Jesus Christ

For the battle is not ours but GOD so belief in his word and HE will do the rest for you by giving you victory,success and prosperity.

As Christians we have to thank God everyday of our lives, for being wth us everywhere we go. Father we give honour and glory to your Name. We love you our Lord, there is none like you. Amen

We should be strong and courageous, for the Lord God cares and watches everything that concerns us.

He was living Godly life and my heavenly father was very pleased with him

Obedience is in fact better than sacrifice, and we must also understand that disobedience to God not only holds us back from our full potential, but also holds back the souls God has set for us to be a light to, we must be courageous, and obedient. Just thinking of that gets me excited for my future in Christ!

the word of God is the yardstick used to measure our prosperity and success.

Good success is only obtained through obideance to the word of God ,Joshua conquered Jericho by obeying the word of God though he was a mighty man of valour he did not use weapons to conquer Jericho ,for the weapons of our warfar are not carnal but they are mighty to the pulling down of strong holds.

The Lord is definate/assuring in the facilitation 4 th performance of His work. He makes sure we understand that He is working with us, most asuring is that he says he wil neva fail us, what a confidence we should hav in his promises

The word of God builds our faith and strength.You will always have solutions to your problems by dwelling in the Word.He is Faithful and just.

This is awesome

not depart from your mouth refers to speaking out loud. meditate also refers to speaking quietly out loud over and over. as a cow chews its cud and gets more nourishment so do we by speaking out loud scriptures.

abiding in the word of God is what makes us real disciples of Christ & true children of God who by truth are set free. Therefore let us practise God's word by both speech,thoughts & deeds.

I counted four times Joshua was told to be strong and of a good courage in this one chapter. Lesson I Learnt? Leaders have to be strong and courageous

Teach us everywhere we go he's there fr us we must trust him fully and obey teachings

Keeping his word makes us stronger and brings us closer to God, we constantly get renewed as we meditate on it, his promised forever stand....in V9 we r further commanded to stay strong and be not afraid cause his word is our shield and our guide. Glory to God

God is no respector of person. Acts 10:34, what he'll do for Joshua, he'll do for me. I believe where ever my feet treads, I can raise my hands before Heaven & ask God to take the blinders from people's minds. That the Glorious Gospel of Christ should be revealed to them, 2 Corin. 4:4 While God has made wonderful provisions for us, He has blessed this Nation & we
should always remember Israel, support her & pray for her.

God want us to do His will and to remember His lows day and night

yes GOD is good to all people trust in him he never let out all who come to him he assure them protection feeding an what ever good thing to his owns

I THANK GOD FOR USING HIS FOLLOWERS TO SPREAD OR SHOULD I SAY FEED HIS SHEEPS YAHWEH SPIRITUAL FOOD

vs 7,9 God promises us strength and protection that we shouldn't be afraid when we trust in him.

That's true because it is written in Joshua 1:8, "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.".......AMEN!!!

Its the Lord's promise to his servant Joshua.

Reverence to Gods word should always be on our lips. Our thoughts, actions and words should always be mindful of Gods word of instruction and his promises. His word needs to be a living part of our everyday life. Our first love.

Joshua was a brilliant follower of the Lords word even before he new Moses was the chosen one and his inner strength love and belief in God was awesome! It brings tears to my eyes and praise to my lips to read about he and there is no doubt in my mind that the light of the Lord can not will not be extinguished ah-man as Moses said from everlasting to everlasting Thou art God.
