Jesse An interesting aspect of this is everyone beats up judas for betraying Jesus Christ yet all the disciples copped out with fear and guilt, yet all were forgiven including Judas my understanding is the twelve apostles were given the command to go to Jerusalem and when Judas saw Jesus christ ascend to heaven that's when the guilt peaked and he during that event and suicided that's when the angels said ye men of galilee.

If you check the thread , I believe Rick's reply about two ears and one mouth was directed to me , I responded to your reply to him as I felt that you were attempting to tell him what he can and cannot say on this site . I believe that there are moderators on this site and if any of us get out of line they remove our post . One of the things I admire most about America is it's freedom of speech laws / rights . I'm not sure what you mean by "red flag " , sorry I'm not familiar with that term . This has all been a bit of a storm in a tea cup as far as I'm concerned , I hope you agree .

    1 Timothy 2.12

I do not see any exceptions.

Women are not anointed by God to teach men . Impossible it breaks his own word .

Women and children yes . To do what is expected of them . In obedience to the Lord .

Jesse If it wasn't for the hope of the return and the gathering together we really would have nothing to look forward to as Paul said. It will be incredible Face to Face.

Thank you for your explanation as it helped me to finally understand the verse(s). Thank you very much for taking the time to explain...to me it's a super-important learning curve. Great explanation. Thanks again.

    Hebrews 12.14

Follow peace with all men , and holiness , without which no man shall see the Lord ; looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God ; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you , and thereby many be defiled .

The key word is " holiness " we can not compromise peace with men by there sin even false doctrines . If we do it's down hill and out of touch with God until repented of .

Read the seven churches in revelation and see what compromises do . The Lord calls them to repent .

Here is a question do we except errors and sin by others ? We can be at peace with all men but not at the expense of holiness. Love is faithful to the truth and rejoiceth not with sin or error

    Hebrews 12.2

Why did Jesus sit down at the right hand of God and not sit on Gods throne ?

Stephen say Jesus at the right hand of God in Acts as well .

The conclusion must be there is only one God sitting on His throne .

Jesus is sitting by him at his right hand , not at all the same thing .

Jesus certainly is the Son of God sent to be the Christ or messiah , by God sitting on the throne .

I disagree with your ideology scripturally that everyone is born a child of the devil because to be born that way which is to say when born they were born both of flesh and blood and spiritually evil. Then a spiritual rebirth is logically impossible, now it is written we were dead in trespasses and sins and were by nature children of wrath but it does not say everyone is born a child of the devil. Also John 8:41-44 Jesus Christ knew spiritually who there spiritual Father was, which is why He said you will die in your sin, if there spiritual father is the devil that cannot be reversed. In the old testament they were known as men of Belial or worthless men, these men despised men of God and all that represented God andwere absolutely wicked. Nimrod was this kind of man.

    Jesse,

Yes, and we will see Him face to face in all of His glory. Glory! Glory! Seeing Him will be the moist beautiful sight for our glorified self to behold. We will discover more about Him than we could ever know here in this life. And we will spend eternity discovering who He is.

We will finally free of sinfulness and we will only be with others who no longer sin. We will be totally transformed to love each other as we ought, having righteous relationships. If love goodness and righteousness here on earth, we much more will we be blessed by what we will experience in heaven. I'm ready and can't wait! But God has a time for me to leave this life, and in the mean time, I will serve Him, grow in grace and godliness, and the knowledge of Him who saved me, a sinner.

For me, it is clear that Jesus commanded tat it be done, so I was happy to obey His command.

    Hi,

Interesting thought about Job's children not really having been killed. I do believe that they died. I think Job was able to father more children after this trial. But also, there may have been a resurrection of his children as the restoration.

When God speaks its from an eternal perspective that never changes . So how can anyone miss the context of God speaking , or change what God has said ? Impossible .

Nothing in the past or future can change the word of God .

    Hello,

This is the first time I've replied to you, as far as I know, going by your name.

Just a correction: Joseph died in Egypt long before the Exodus. He asked his brothers to be sure that His bones were carried out of Egypt to the promised land when the Israelites are finally released from bondage centuries later.

GiGi, Amen. We (all those who have been born of God's Spirit) have been justified (declared not guilty), sanctified (set apart for God's purposes), and one day we will be glorified in Christ Jesus. What a beautiful image!!!

    Kent,

Only Jesus preexisted as God before his human birth. He was before all time and will always be the one and only "Begotten" Son of god, because He was begotten, not made. We are made in God's image. Jesus is the exact image of God because, He is a member of the Triune God. The Triune God is exclusive to any additions. We may have to agree to disagree on this topic.
  • David - In Reply - 4 years ago
Hello Kent Interesting view point my concern is before adam and eve were deceived they were perfect did that make them Gods or Equal to God at that time. ahust food for thought
  • Kent Bass - In Reply - 4 years ago
Gigi, God is not making new God's. There are 3 who are perfect all in one. But why is there only 3? Because they are the only sinless, perfect beings. Jesus and Yah made it clear that we could become gods. Why did they say this? They didn't say this because we would, they already knew that we would fail otherwise we would have been with them from the beginning. Because If we had been perfect, we ALSO would have been begotten of the father from the beginning and there would have been more than one begotten son. In the garden Adam and Eve did not fall because they wanted to be like God. That is a good thing. They fell because they sinned, disobeyed Yah, he told them not to touch or eat from the tree, like we all sinned and fell. All scripture is correct. There are only 3 person in the Godhead and they all are one. But we can not overlook that they said we had the opportunity, and thus is why we are mortals and God is God.

Again, if there were more than one person who lived a perfect life they too would have been begotten of the father from the beginning and would have been able to do all the things Jesus did including stepping into time in a later date and being born. But there is only 1 begotten son, the father, and the spirit. All sinless, everyone else are sinners

    God bless you Gigi.

    Sister GiGi:

Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews (circumcised in the heart), and are not (circumcised in the heart), but do lie; Behold, I WILL MAKE THEM to come and WORSHIP BEFORE THY FEET, and to know that I have loved you.
  • GiGi again - In Reply - 4 years ago
Earl, It is my understanding that the Scripture states clearly that each person is mad in the image of God, not Satan. That said. I rally do not think that it will be fruitful if we go back and forth on this subject. I stand by what I have stated and think that I has said enough on this subject for now. I am very cognizant of the "many eyes" on this site, and I hope to help anyone who may be helped by what I say in a post as I think you wish, as well.
  • GiGi - 4 years ago
Very good explanation. Thanks. Yes, Jesus, fully God and fully man, rose with His body. The human and God union He possessed was not separated when He ascended into heaven. The change in heaven is that His human body is glorified, as ours will be as we are resurrected. This is classic orthodox teaching.

Satan who deceives the WHOLE WORLD

EVERYONE starts out as a god of this world, were are being CREATED a NEW MAN, a god of the WORLD TO COME.

The god of this world (Satan). We start out as the children of Satan ( John 8:44):

We END as children of GOD

We begin as the image of the beast (Satan)( Revelation 13:14-15)

We END the image of God

2 Corinthians 11:14 An no marvel, for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

2 Corinthians 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers (gods of THIS WORLD) also be transformed TO MINISTERS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (gods of the WORLD TO COME)......

Romans 12:2 And be ye not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed be THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND ...

Please, Sasha, I think that it is disrespectful to question if a professed believer needs the Holy Spirit. You were not in my heart when I felt that "red flag", so you cannot be a judge as to whether I need the Holy Spirit or not. I, for myself, do not make such statements to people who are brethren. I assume that they have the Spirit and that He is at work in each person. I believe in thinking the best of people on this site, as well as being honest and thoughtful with what we say. I was intending to be that to Rick, to whom I addressed my post.
  • GiGi again - In Reply - 4 years ago
I know the Holy Spirit never gets anything wrong. Us, meh, more frequently than we really know.

    Rick,

Thanks for the explanation. I later did think that perhaps your were being humorous, but it did hit me in a way that sent up "red flags" in my spirit. I wish you well. For myself, if someone wanted to exhort me to listen more and talk (write) less, I would want that person to say exactly that. I would not be offended by such straight-forward speaking. If you were just referring to yourself, then that is where I would think that you were being humorous.

Glad we have had an opportunity to speak further on this.
