    Being dead to sin

We live and move and have our being in Him.

Jesus came for the sick ,not those who need no physician! Remember,Thomas put his hand into his side. This wound large enough to allow the suffocating water in his lungs to erupt from his body with the blood He shed for the sin of the world.

The holy spirit moves in the heart of those who love the son of God

This is evident in you, almost a razor edge from speaking in tongues

    The sword of the spirit!

Applying the wisdom and experience of dyeing too the flesh, being risen again ina new body ,being born again! Love him , again love him!

    Hi Sister Laura,

Thanks for your response, as well the reminder of the great sacrifice that Christ made for ALL OF US! Amen

I agree, It does seem that the "end times" are fast approaching, the events taking place are his signs to His people, even so, we must be ready for our Savior!

    Matthew 24:32-33

"Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors."

    God Bless

1st Cor 5.1-13 answered my question completely. I have read that scripture many times but had forgotten it. Thank you for your input.

    Hi Brother Spencer,

Thank you for your response. You made a long 3 part response, with great scripture! But your additional scripture does not change or weaken the scripture that I presented.

The main topic was the 10 Commandments, and secondary topic was the analogy of the Gentiles (wild olive tree) being grafted into the Israelites (cultivated olive tree).

I try to remain open minded and adjust as the Spirit may move me. I believe the scripture speaks for itself on these two topics. The chapter Romans 11 is speaks specifically about the Gentiles being grafted into this cultivated olive tree, and becoming Israelites Galatians 3:29. We become Abrahams seed! Paul states this fact again in Romans 2:29 we become Jews inwardly.

You put forth your argument against the Gentiles becoming Israelites and include scripture found in other areas directed at the 3 different/separate groups. The Church, the Gentiles, and Israelites. I agree they have been and CAN continue to be separate. But, the analogy that Paul uses regarding the grafting of the two olives threes - shows that Christ changed this; by keeping the original tree intact, not making a new tree. (You suggested different - we disagree) Jesus Christ is the tree root of the original tree, and the original branches are the Israelites. Paul is stating in scripture that Jesus removes the defective branches (unbelieving Jews), keeping the branches of the believing Jews intact, and then grafting in the believing Gentiles into the tree. In essence, bringing the believing Jews, and believing Gentiles, into ONE BODY - the CHURCH. I hope now, this makes sense to you.

Next, God originally gave the 10 Commandments to the Israelites. Now that we believers have accepted Jesus Christ, and have been adopted into the Church (Olive Tree) we are partakers of God's salvation, along with His Commands - we are treated the same now as the Israelites. No better - no worse!

    Read and Believe!

I was gonna say, there's scripture in Daniel that sounds like God is going to wipe Russia off the face of the map. I hope not. There has to be Christians in Russia despite persecution?

Now is a good time to bone up on Bible Prophesy. You could check out some Nelson Walters videos on YouTube.

Lotsa food for thoughts and prayers.

*The way things are going, Zuckerberg, Gates and other 3, are going to deceive MANY people when a new currency is introduced. The whole world will join up so they can get their Big Macs on demand. So sad.

All that money we stuffed into mattresses will be worthless? It would go better to stuff a private storage unit with food and water, cold weather clothes and a hibachi for heat.

Let's pass on all the intrigues, threats, total waste of taxpayers monies paid out. All these wars over gas and oil__and the USA has loads of it capped off for WHAT?! So Elon can build fancy cars at a budget price of $500,000. There are madmen running our countries.

For mr Fauchi, the Bible has 3 scriptures that point to China, some Mideast Countries and S Africa as origins of all Pandemics (pestilence) in the world. The Bible describes Chinas flag colors perfectly.

Dear Amos nr 1. Ornaments are not necessary for God, but perhaps for people to think that HE IS HOLY A GOD.

    nr 2.

It may be that water may be contaminated, which unclean / poison etc. Then one can drink food wine. 1 Timothy 5:23

Proverbs 23:30-35 here it is talked about not being an alcoholic.

nr 3. Now here comes the confusion:

Paul says it is a misnomer for a man to go with long hair. Likewise, it is for woman and having long hair an honor. 1 Corintihans 11

Personally, I think here that the Corinthians who were very distinctive and proud. Failed to reach agreement. But it is a sign of authority. Easily explained.

Jesus is the man's head if he is a believer. 1 Corintians 11:15 Note in particular that the chapter continues with the Lord's meal. Authority and trust. The man rules over the woman with whom he is Married. Not other men's wives.

1 Corintihans 11:16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God. Amen

A little personal here now Again :D long time ago i had long hair, then it was okay to say it was an honor because it says in the bible?

Today, my neck locks in place, so i would rather cut my own hair. So what severity it would be in Christ if anyone came to me and said that i am malnourished!

But if i come to a church where everyone wears a hat on their head, now i do not show my shame-cut head. If it should cause someone to fall, i would put on one hat, and not cause someone to fall. If i dont have a hat i pray for it and the hat to go to meeting with, will come becouse of a pray. If its necessarily, Jesus will give me one or two hats. Amen

I love Jesus Christ ppl. In His name i could do any thing. Like in 1 Corintians 10:23-24

God bless us all with understanding and wisdom when He decides In Jesus Holy Name Amen.

My thought is that Moses wrote the first 5 books of the Bible. They were written in Hebrew.

Abraham lived before Moses. I would think that when Ishmael descendants settled in the lands that God deeded to them.

Israel's boundaries were recorded in the scriptures and deeded to them through a covenant God performed with Abraham (and his legal wife Sarah); cutting the covenant.

The deed is still legal in Gods eyes. The fact that Israel gives land for peace; will be the issue of the end of time wars fought. Just because 5-6000 years have passed by, doesn't mean God has forgotten the original Covenant boundaries. People change. Not the Covenant.

I'm always amazed at the size of Israel, compared to the other kingdoms that exist on modern maps now. Not even 10 miles wide! Anyone could jog that every day of their lives. The promise that God made to Ishmael is much greater in size. To think God has become senile is ridiculous.

It is written: there will be a final battle fought at Armageddon. Only those who choose to stand with Jesus will live with him eternally. John 3: "you must be born again" from above.

  • CURSE OF THE LAW - In Reply on Galatians 3 - 3 years ago
    Galatians 3

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under THE CURSE: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

13 CHRIST hath redeemed us from the CURSE OF THE LAW, being made a curse FOR US; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree [cross of Calvary]

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Comment: we are all born pre-packaged with sin. We need a Savior, the Son of man, Jesus. We have to accept Jesus's work completed on the Cross.

Our sins are forgiven from birth to death. Because of human frailty, we still have failures. Since we are in the family of God now, we confess and are restored into fellowship immediately. 1 John 1:9. We have an Advocate (attorney): Jesus. Our Names are written in the Lambs Book of Life.

When we are accused by Satan, Jesus looks in the Book of Life for our name; and the case is dismissed. The penalty was already paid. With Jesus's Blood.

We should walk in forgiveness of others. Forgive ourselves and give thanks for the Love and Forgiveness of Christ.

May I ask a few questions? How far go you travel on the sabbath? Do you eat on the sabbath? When is it prepared? If there is a accident or sickness do you go to a Dr or Hospital on the sabbath? Would you call a policeman on the sabbath?

I eat at home on Sunday but travel a longer distance going to church. I don't go shopping or work more than necessary. If a family member is in a hospital we leave them until released. I don't worship days. Just interested.

The woman in Rev. 12 : 5 Keeps the Commandments simply b/c she has been Bornagain,....Its her Child that is born of God and CANNOT SIN thus the law is fulfilled...This Woman is the best example of what the new birth looks like...She has given birth to a baby Christ THE SON OF MAN...Her Child is the result of the Sower and his seed the living word...That New Covenant...Sin is the transgression of the law but if WE CANNOT SIN b/c of our new heart and new spirit...The H.G. The law is fulfilled...Her testimony is a baby Christ which is the testimony of Christ Jesus ( His seed etc ) a spritual seed the Living Word. The Moon was under her feet meaning she has completed her 39 weeks....Her baby is the H.G. the Child of PROMISE...Unless ya receive the KiNGDOM OF GOD as a lil Child your will in no wise enter there in...She don't have to worry about keeping the law simply b/c her Child is a baby God making it impossible for her to Sin...As them that are born of God cannot sin which is her Child the H.G. The Child of Promise.

......Remember that great Promise God Almighty swore by his very self that he was gonna multiply Christ Jesus HIS SON as the Stars of Heaven....Thus the Sower and his precious SEED resulting in the Woman and her Children....The H.G. plural as the Stars of Heaven....This Woman cd not break the LAW if she wanted to...no she keeps the Commandments...Simply b/c she is in the very Kingdom of God....Her corruptible has put on incorrruption and her mortal has put on immortality....She has been changed to a God...To whom the word came it made them Gods....The Word being the seed of the sower.

..... Gal. 3 : 16...Now unto Abraham and his Seed were the Promises made but he said NOT unto seeds plural...natural ISRAEL But unto 1 seed which is Christ thus its Christ that is gonna be multiplied as the Stars of Heaven...An Israel of God. Thus the need for the Sower and his seed ....Children that cannot lie so he was their Father...

Dear "Lewis", (ill think this is a religious thing, too stop the Holy Spirit and let Him stay in the churches all around, it's a shame for the church). Do you think this did not apply to the disciples. For the Holy Spirit was bound to Jesus. He could not send the Holy Spirit until He was dead, resurrected. Then He could send the spokesman. John 17:4 17:11 17:18 17:23

    John 14.

After all the disciples expected, the Holy Spirit was poured out in Jerusalem. There were many ppl there then. They spoke in all tongues. It had to be a great day! Acts 2 1-4

Then the 12 went out as Apostles and preached the word of Jesus to all nations. Given by the Holy Ghost all around even to Russia and Australia, the Holy Ghost eventually came all over the Earth. Jesus has been talked about everywhere! Think how grateful we should be.

There were no witnesses to the baptism of my spirit. (what can it tell us)? But you world for an experience. John 15:25-27 I KNEW that now something happened, i had not even thought about it, not didnt know what the Holy Spirit was! Evil powers have tried to kill me many times. Even my faith have they tried and take. But God is my thanksgiving and my fortress. I will belong to Him forever.

A word that became important to me at that time is found in Acts 2: 40-47

Hallelujah for God is good The only true and glorious God who came in flesh to us here on this poor earth!

ALL HONOR TO JESUS CHRIST HE IS my KING FOREVER! Only He Is Worthy.

Everyone has this source of eternal LIFE within them. What it's about is letting the source spring up and out. All the gifts can be given to us, just search for them! Belive in them! Only belive what u pray and u will get it in Gods time to give it too u.

1 Corinthians 12:4-13 Be strengthened in the faith dear friends and do not give up and love one another in forgiveness and in the Holy Spirit.

Until the day we are to be taken up into the heavenly dwellings by the works of Jesus Christ.
  • Using this WEBSITES SEARCH ENGINE - In Reply - 3 years ago
I think you'll really like trying out this website's Search Engine. You only need to recall a word or two to find a scripture you're looking for. I really like using it for studies.

When you come into this website you're on the RED LINK PAGE.

Up at the top is the SEARCH BOX. Links for all books of the Bible is below that. for Bible subject only

    Example:

You can put the word 'Atonement' in the Search box and hit the arrow >

The engine will fetch every scripture that contains that word. You can sort the list; choose OT or NT only; and the engine places the list in book order.

With DATES OR HISTORY, you'll have to go on GOOGLE. Type it in like this:

    "Atonement, history".

You have to use ancient names from ancient maps.

By using all the search options, you'll learn some really awesome information. If search doesn't fetch anything try wording it differently.

If it fetches 5,000 verses; try wording it another way or just look at only OT or NT verses.

Look around on this whole website to see what's in it. If you get lost, just back out and come back in. Curious is good.

The location of the COMMENTARY BOX is below the search box. Touch a scripture and it will highlight Yellow. Scroll down slowly.

I like: BIBLEHUB on Google. It is many commentaries, to compare

  • Free Yourself From Oppression of The Devil - In Reply - 3 years ago
Satan is not Human. Earth was created to be cared for by Humans. Evil spirits or Satan do not NOW possess AUTHORITY to oppress or possess.

Adam lost it in the garden to the serpent (Satan).

God already had a plan of redemption in the works. When a human (Abraham) was willing to sacrifice his beloved son at Gods request__Gods plan went into action.

Luke 1 John the Baptist was conceived; Luke 1:26, Mary consented to become the mother of Immanuel (God With Us). Jesus laid aside his deity to become a HUMAN. The son of MAN. Fully God and fully Human. When Satan saw Jesus in the manger, he probably said, I have to kill this kid. But Jesus was protected by angels up to the Cross. After Jesus was crucified, Satan thought He had won after all. BUT on the 3rd day, Jesus crushed Satan's head (his power) Genesis 3:15.

Jesus took back what Adam lost to Satan: Power, Authority and He gave it to his Believers; PLUS HIS NAME.

Ask in my Name_Anything. The only problem is FAITH OF THE BELIEVERS. If your knowledge is weak on the known Will of God, Satan will put it to the test and persecute us.

Jesus fought Satan with scriptures. IT IS WRITTEN___

If you don't know any, you will suffer, get sick, lose things you love and wonder why God doesn't help you?

    Mishael

Ephesians 6 says Satan and his devils are invisible. But evil spirits can get inside of willing humans and do their evil through that human. 80% Christians have no real knowledge of the realm of evil. It exists but they don't teach it. THE BIBLE DOES.

Google: spiritual warfare or watch some Derek Prince on YouTube or listen to 200 verses of spiritual warfare scriptures. It's in there. Will we learn it? Jesus has provided everything we need to get Satan out of our lives.

Turn off the video games and get into some real warfare. You will be beat up if you don't know scripture!

Jesus has PROVIDED all we need. Trust Him.

    Hi dear James.

Maybe you can say a little more?

I have experienced some of it and it is from unsaved people, We know what to do.

Is it from saved people. May we read the Word of God until it sets us free. Becouse: Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

God In Jesus Holy name i pray: bless us with endless love for our family and friends in the Lord. Give us word not too hit ppl with but to set us free from others ignorance in which they wander. And heavenly patience so that we may come to an agreement in the scriptures. Amen

  • FIREY TRIALS and DEEP WATERS - In Reply on Isaiah 43 - 3 years ago
We face many trials as human beings and they bring a lot of fear into our hearts. Sometimes we don't know what to do, and the only place we can turn is to our heavenly Father.

God knows that in this world we will face many trials but throughout His Word, He gives us encouragement and comfort in the scriptures.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

It's normal to feel alone when all around you is falling apart and you see no hope of the end coming soon. With God, you can face any trial and overcome it because He gives you His power and strength.

He knows that trials can easily crush and destroy you if He does not intervene. Rest in the hope that God sees your situation and will help you.

    Isaiah 43:2 was written when

God was comforting His people and reminding them that He was their redeemer, and would be with them just like He was when they left Egypt (bondage to sin).

    1 Peter

5 for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

7 Casting all your care(s) upon him; for he cares for you.

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:

Sometimes it helps me to pray if I pray the Lords prayer_and stop on each line and put in my own thoughts.

Like, Our Father who art in heavenI add my own thoughts of praise and worship of WHO HE IS in my sometimes, needy life. He is "our daddy". We are allowed to run to Father for our needs.

Jesus prayed, "Father forgive them; they know Not what they do." Jesus opened that place we can go to for refuge and help; comfort.

Take advantage of what was provided__through Jesus's shed blood. Honor the blood of that sacrifice.

While his body was in the tomb, he went to hell and preached delivery to the captives. He took the keys of death, hell and the grave away from Satan and opened all the doors and led the captives out.

He was seen (it as recorded in their news) in the streets leading those released down the streets. In the month following His Crucifixion, he was witnessed alive by over 500 people.

He went to where his Disciples were and revealed he was alive and in his transformed body. Thomas put a finger in the nail hole in his side. They spent some weeks together. Then they all saw his body ascend up into some clouds and out of sight. To reside as High Priest at the right hand of the Father; to ever live to make intercession for His saints (us). He is our Advocate when Satan accuses us, and much more. All we have to do is ASK anything according to his will for us.

It's up to us to get into the New Testament and find out what His Will is, for us. If we suffer_read Hebrews chapter 11 and count yourself blessed to suffer with the saints gone ahead, and the Disciples.

If you don't feel blessed, donate all those old sneakers in your closet and clear a space to sit in there under the clothes, sing songs to the Lord (use your phone to singalong to favorite hymns.) Ask the Holy Spirit to sit with you and Help you to pray your heart to Jesus.

Then sit quietly for a while in silence. The Holy Spirit may speak to your spirit. Listen with your spirit.

One time I was waiting in silence before the Lord, and I hear this song melody. It was "I walk the Line" by Johnny Cash!! I think WOW! After all Johnny did that was sinful, he was in heaven with Jesus! I had judged Johnny Cash. I asked forgiveness and started singing too. The song was showing me: To Walk the Line. A straight line with Jesus.

Even later the truth stayed with me. What and who else had I judged? We carry so much "flesh" around, we ought to get rid of that.
