    Annmeeks:

    TRUTH:

You are the Body of Christ, HIS immortal life, you are a new creation, Christ is the LIFE, you are his BODY.

When he wants you to do great things HE (the Life) WILL CAUSE YOU and EMPOWER you; his BODY TO DO IT.

We are the Temple of God.

In the Old Testament the CLOUD; representative of the presence of God, overshadowed the Tent (old temple).

When the CLOUD moved the people moved; when the CLOUD set still the people set still.

You are now THE TEMPLE of God, the CLOUD, the presence of God, overshadows you, when he moves his people move, when he sets still his people set still.

Matthew 24:30 Then shall appear the sign of the son of man in heaven .....they shall see the son of man COMING IN THE CLOUDS of heaven.

    Walk in truth.

    God Bless You!

God does claim power to create calamities, but He does not sin, does not encourage humans to sin, and did not create sin in Adam that subsequently was passed on to every human born into the world.

Jesus told of the rich man in torments in hell. Jesus also warned sinners on earth not to turn away from God and end up in hell where the worm does not die and the fire is not quenched. There is no indication that hell is a temporary place of minimal suffering.

    Hi Earl,

You are right, I said you have not answered my question after I asked multiple times.

I didn't ask you about everyone going to heaven, we have heard that multiple times all year.

Here are copies of what I asked.

    1) "If a every sinner goes to heaven whether they believe or not, why is it that they work so hard to pitch their point of view. Why is it so important to them that their message is accepted when salvation is never at stake?

We believe what we preach is vital to salvation and one's salvation is at stake pending on ones belief.

    2) "If a every sinner goes to heaven whether they believe or not, why is it that they work so hard to pitch their point of view. Why is it so important to them that their message is accepted when salvation is never at stake?

    3) You are conscious of one being deceived. So what? according to you deception doesn't keep you out of Hell anyway. There's no need to believe anything, just live. Whether you kill or be killed, whether you worship and honor God or an Idol it makes no difference, we all suffer the same fate.

My question is WHY DOES YOU PREACH A MESSAGE THAT DOESNT MATTER?

    Why?

if you cause enough trouble God will cause you some problems is what HE is saying; HE didn't create evil but HE can sure give evil people some trouble when they cause evil. GOD is incapable of evil but HE will allow calamity to come about. evil here is Heb. ra= has many uses here in this context is rendered calamity/tumult. GOD naming Cyrus before he was born, 1 of only 7 GOD named; subject here is GOD uses Cyrus for HIS purpose to cause calamity/tumult to subdue nations for HIS purpose as stated in Verse 1

JESUS was talking about the Church not any member of a person's body (GOD forbid); it is against doctrine to mutilate the flesh for anything.

The subject was others who went out and healed in JESUS name but were not part of the group of disciples fallowing JESUS. Other words the many member body of CHRIST; church. . CHRIST was saying don't condemn them for they were working to spread the gospel and church as a whole, if it wasn't so they would not of been able to dispel spirits. Mark 9:40

A church is made up of many members ( 1 Corinthians 12:12-:31). You have a preacher the (head) of the church, deacons (eyes), collectors (hands) etc for examples. If you have a member of a church that causes chaos you are to dispose of it quickly before it grows. Take gossip for instance, you are to stop it in its tracks. If you have a deacon (eyes) of a church pluck it out-if he is causing say gossiping ex. about member/members; other words kick him out the church so the whole body doesn't suffer and the whole church burns.

But we can't have grace without faith.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: ( Ephesians 2:8)

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. ( James 2:26)

Therefore, to believe the entire Bible and not just parts of the Bible we would need to say we are saved by both grace and works.

And many Biblical passages confirm this:

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. ( James 4:7)

Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. ( Hebrews 4:11)

And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; ( Hebrews 5:9)

and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. ( Revelation 2:23)

And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: ( Revelation 2:26)

I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. ( 1 John 2:13)

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, ( Revelation 2:7)

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. ( Revelation 21:7)

In your gossiping of this woman I never heard you say that she is sleeping around with other men, especially 5 husbands? But made a commitment to 1. By your own admittance you said" Those others in the class know of her situation and are concerned also" is gossip. John 4:18 says she had 5 husbands-past tense and with another 1 presence. In John 4: I did not read where JESUS condemned the woman but said she spoke the truth. You feel you must bring whaling accusations and attention to this one seeking to study our LORD in your group ( Luke 6:42). This poor woman come to study the WORD of GOD and all you in the group are talking behind her back about something that is none of your business; between her, the man and GOD!

I cannot find a true church. I read the Bible and read your comments. I know I am saved 11/11/21 Since I was young I know I have Angel with me. I just want to pray with true saints. I am praying for people I know to be truly saved. Many are deceived by all churches.

    1 Corinthians 14:20-22

    King James Version

20 Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.

21 In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.

22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

Don't be childish, immature, untaught, or ignorant about tongues. Tongues were important in the early church as God transitioned from the Jews to the Gentile/Church, but afterward ceased because God was no longer using them as a sign to the Jews.

The sense in which Christ is the 'only begotten' is in respect to His resurrection (and glorification).

We are all 'begotten', only Jesus is begotten from the dead.

"So also Christ >glorified< not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, >to day< have I begotten thee." Hebrews 5:5

Jesus keeps His own from "falling away" but He does not give young Christians immunity from sin. Never stop seeking His help, His presence, His mercy, and His forgiveness for sins and carnality. He will never leave or fake one of His own.
  • Marke - In Reply - 3 years ago
There are multitudes in churches around the world who think they are saved but are not. There are many verses in the Bible written to church members as warnings against taking salvation for granted or resting in false hopes that will not likely endure or will be of no avail even if held until the end. True believers will heed the warnings against falling away and returning like a dog to vomit ( 2 Peter 2) and "will endure to the end" because of their everlasting faith.
  • Dav47 - In Reply on Mark 6 - 3 years ago
My take from this as JESUS always led by example for the disciples what to expect. JESUS was only gone from them 18 years; Many surely knew JESUS, HIS miracles and gentleness when HE was there. The big take away is there are people in this world that will flat out not except the truth no matter how much proof you show them. The people had pride and jealousy in their heart and knew of JESUS humble upbringing and here HE comes preaching to them. They was not going to accept the concept that a lowly carpenters son telling them of the kingdom to come. No matter what HE did they just was not going to accept it so when this happens we are told not to cast pearls before swine. No one can come to the FATHER except through the SON instead of causing them further sin it is better to walk away and let some one else bring the truth to them when they humble themselves to accept the truth.
