  • David - In Reply on Numbers 14 - 4 years ago
Hi Cynthia The first and great commandment actually ties into this and in reality all of life, to Love God with all our heart soul mind and strength and love thy neighbor as thyself. I had to learn before I can bless anyone else have got to love me with the love God First, this is not implying you or your husband don't!

I consider at times this walk to be very hard at times mentally and emotionally because when someone you love, especially family does things contrary to Gods Word which is life, and we are aware because of whats written the outcome we still to the best of our ability stay with scripture. True love[agapeo is not easy] especially in our society and world the way it has become.

Things to remember James 5:16 second Half The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth

much, also if you can talk to your son, share with him what God can do not all the things he is doing wrong, we build up not tear down. Remember the love of God thinketh no evil, that still I have a hard time wrapping around my head.

Don't listen to people who say no one can help Him that's a Lie from our enemy, There is no pit so deep that He Jesus Christ is not Deeper still. Focus on what you can do for Him not what you can't. Last my wife and I have six kids I'm thankful that 2 are Born again and doing well and two are sitting on the fence so to speak and two haven't made up there minds. There all loved equally. Just thought I'd share some heart. P. S. This has always blessed me Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus look Full In His Wonderful Face And The Things Of Earth Will Grow Strangely Dim In The Light Of His Glory And Grace. Walking with God is More Inspiration than Perspiration. God Bless

I believe that Gods/Jesus thrown "is Heaven". All of Heaven.

    Isaiah 66:1

"Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?"

The throne of God should not be thought of as a literal throne. God the Father is nonphysical. So not having a physical body, God does not " virtually sit." When we envision a divine throne it is akin to biblical allusions to God's "hand" or "mouth" or "eyes"-they are nonmaterial.

Hope this helps to put "throne" in perspective.

    God Bless

Backsliders .. these scriptures tear down the false baptist doctrine once saved always saved, and Joyce Meyers false doctrine of God forgives present sins and the ones we sin willfully after..

You are correct about David , a fierce warrior and a skilful manipulator of men and women too I think ! Yet before his God he knew he was just a man who could do or be nothing without God's help .

Oh Kent that's so lovely , I thank God for every thing , especially my sanity ! I even thank Him for my washing machine ! God is Love and He shows me and you also , His Love in a million different ways every day . One day all flesh will understand this and I hope , rejoice with us when they finally get the Truth in their hearts . May we all grow closer to Him every day .

Hi Cynthia , is it at all possible that the schizophrenia came before the drugs ? I have a relative by marriage that I have known since we were teens . She was hearing voices by the time she was seventeen but didn't tell any one , she used marijuana to try to stop the voices and relax and be able to sleep , so the schizophrenia came first and then she tried to self medicate it away . I don't know how things work in the U. S. A . but in the UK we have a free health service for all our citizens , we pay for it through taxes etc , so by the time she was 21 she had a diagnosis and good meds and a psychiatrist to talk to . I'm so sorry if that's not available were you are . It was an awful time for us all , she is also paranoid , which isn't treatable with meds . I watched my step sister disappear and she was replaced by this poor wretched soul who we didn't know how to help . She leads a reasonably normal life now . She has a husband and an almost grown up son and as long as she takes her meds she is fine . It was a very hard and distressing road for us all though , you will have to try and toughen up and steel yourself to be very strong , you have to learn to fight for your loved one when they are unable to fight for themselves . Pray day and night for God's help . It will come .

In Philemon how wonderfully The Apostle Paul shows us that lovingly we are to forgive others who have wronged us, as we desire forgiveness too. And God grant that we become more like Christ through sanctification to lovingly and willingly open ourselves to forgiveness of others. In Jesus name, Amen.

In verses 31 through 37, what a Merciful God The Lord Jesus Christ is. How wonderful that Our Lord in Pure Holy Perfection creates and bestows with His Word the gifts of Life in Hearing and Speaking, that this man received the opportunity to both receive Faith through Hearing the Word of God and in speaking the Praises that only Christs Grace gives True Believers through their tongues. This is The Lord's doing and it leaves us all beyond measure astonished.
  • Jesus at the right hand of God - In Reply on Hebrews 12 - 4 years ago

Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

    Matthew 26:64

Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

    Acts 7:55

But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

    Psalms 118:16

The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

    Colossians 3:1

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

No. Father God is not human.

Jesus is all God and became human by being born of Mary. He's all God and all human.

The Holy Spirit is God and is Spirit.

Mark, hello, sorry to hear that you're feeling negative. Yes it can be very difficult at times. Even Jesus suffered a moment of stress, & totally without friends in a crucial time of need. Luke 22:40-48, Matthew 26:34-56, Matthew 26:67-74,

I welcome your outspoken prayer, thank you. I will lift you up in prayer likewise. HE is closer than a brother.

Be strong, hold tight to the LORD & HIS promises. He will not leave nor foresake us. Psalms 139:1-18, Romans 8:14-39

    Hopefully these scriptures encourage you.

Hi Cynthia My heart goes out to you, there is a point where it has to be put in Gods hands, if not we get drained of

emotions and yes finances. I have a daughter that went through a personal heartbreak and ever since then her wake up so to speak cock tail is double capacino in morning followed by zanac followed by [medical high powered marijuana] this started at 19 shes now 32. She has to smoke pot before going to sleep, it is affecting her memory slowly

and when she talks sounds like she's 18. I pray for God to intervene because its the only way she will get delivered but she has to want it.

Hi and thank u for response. It may be that schripture. :p but this i read like it is the Holy Spirit, sorry i can have mixed it up somewhere. Becouse we know that the picture of the Holy Spirit is water.

Word who i read today and study a round.

Luke 21:21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

God bless u all in Jesus name.

Jesse The is absolutely reality I have seen things literally just walking in a room, we cannot appreciate the magnitude of what we have in Him, I heard a Teaching once In the epistle of !st John it says nummerace places [as he is] so are we spiritually in this world. We have a spiritual resurrected christ in us!, its enough to endeavour to renew the mind and walk in that. Second half Brother its all good. God Bless
  • Jesse - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Hello David,

That's a great way of putting it. If Christ is in us, sometimes we don't even need to say a word for others to know they are in His presence.

And by the way, I was not insinuating that you thought Judas got saved. That was me throwing that out on the table.

Great talking with you my brother!

To add to discussion I just recently replied but felt led to add to my post. Just recently in Daniel I believe GOD revealed to me Daniel & his friends may have been, as captives of war made Eunuchs by Nebuchadnezzar- Daniel 1:1-3, Daniel 1:7-9, Daniel 1:10-11, each time it states those who were put over Daniel & his companions that title was given them 'over the Eunuchs' . There is no account of them having children that I've found. Futhermore when Nebuchadnezzar threatened people in his brutal way= Daniel 2:5, Daniel 2:12-13, Daniel 3:28-29, it was probably a very viable threat & intensely reality. Which now not only puts new light on Nebuchadnezzar's threats but his way of thinking.

Recently GOD's been showing me more in these scriptures. Daniel also is the only one that I've found where an angel says was greatly beloved, Daniel 10:11, Daniel 10:19, there seems to be a distinction in this address. GOD knows us & everything thing we have suffered, everything taken from us, even wrongful sterilization. He loves us! Hopefully this is also encouraging in a deep way as it has been to me. Yes I believe GOD addresses people personally & callings differ. Moses, Hosea, Ezekiel are few examples Daniel another. Sometimes HE calls us to do things others have not been called to nor had precedence for. Like Noah. In my life I've been reminded of this scripture more than once [1 Kigs 13:8-10,15,16,17,18,21,22,*24,] 1 Kings 13:1-32, we must obey GOD ALMIGHTY in what HE calls us to do personally.

When I say a distinction the wording is a little Different than Isaiah 48:14, 2 Samuel 2:24, 1 Kings 10:9, Revelations 1:5, Revelations 3:9, John 14:20, Mark 10:21, & even Matthew 3:17 because CHRIST is the SON, THE WAY TRUTH & LIGHT, LIFE. If I had my Exhaustive Concordance at hand, I would study it more fully.

You said it Jesus inherited from the father . Therefore it was not his until the father gave it to him . God the father is God and father of all , including Jesus . But Jesus is the only begotten Son of God of the father as you well know . All authorities have been given Jesus from the Father as well , he did not have that or it would not have been given him .

If you have all the money in the world and controlled all banks . It would be unnecessary to give you what you already have . More money it would have been yours already .You Would inquire where did you get my money ?

Hi Gigi Sorry this may come through twice not sure anyway, my understanding of operation of word of wisdom is our inner man communicating with our mind on the action to take in a situation to achieve Gods outcome the manifestation of that is the display or the outcome. In 2 Kings 4:32 elisha went into the house and the child was dead. First action prayed or ask God whats up next word of knowledge what to do and how to do it word of wisdom which is verse 34, notice the detail incredible then next verse 35 paced around the house to receive more info because the child wasn't complete yet, next again information on what to do and how to do it precisely stretched himself upon the child and the child sneezed seven times[ side note seven biblically spiritual perfection] verse 36 called for the woman and gave her son back. Everything was in order and Glorified God and the recipient and the giver. Also there are times when God may tell you to remove all unbelievers out in a situation. Prayerfully this helps
