    Amen Brother Jesse, thank you.

The Spirit has revealed these things to me, as it has to you. Satan, by the Spirit Of God has been cast out ( Matthew 12:28) of me. I have nothing but peace and assurance.

Our labour of love is to bring this KNOWLEDGE to others.

Thank you David! This is exactly what I needed to hear today, because contrary to what everyone tells us, we keep coming to his rescue. He has asked to come home, and I am the one saying no, even though I am grieving and sad about the whole situation, but how can we just say no, since he has nothing and no help. So..it looks like we will try again. It really is about denying yourself and serving in this life, and it is very hard, so thanks again, and I am sure you will hear from me again..I will update you, and my goodness 6 children! Bless you, and yours!
  • GRACE_ambassador {ChrisE} watered-down Doctrine? on 1 Corinthians 4 - 4 years ago
Ephesians 4:5 ...ONE Baptism... Precious friends, why is that God's 'Sound' Doctrine, Today, Under God's Amazing GRACE, is being 'Changed' Into TWO baptismS? I believe "God is Not the author of All of the following 'Confusion/Division'" 1 Corinthians 14:33 over water baptism - 10 'Different' kinds of 'traditions' in religious denominations - and the question for "TWO baptismS 'water' adherents" is, which of the following do you Sincerely believe is God's reason you should 'practice this tradition' today, Under GRACE?:

    1) believe AND be baptized {i.e. immersion to contact their Christ's blood}?

    2) immersion with a symbolic interpretation?

    3) immersion ONCE in the "name of Jesus?

    4) immersion THRICE in the "name of the Triune Godhead?

    5) immersion {whether once or thrice} for "membership" in their traditional assembly?

    6) sprinkling water on babies inducting them into religion washing away their original sin?

    7) sprinkling water on babies inducting them into some covenant?

    8) sprinkling water on babies inducting them into their parent's custody that they promise to raise them right? {into Mass Confusion?}

    9) sprinkling water on babies, admitting that their ritual is UNscriptural, but "we do it anyway, because it is OUR tradition!"?

    10) pouring water onto babies or adults for Whatever traditional reason religion "can come up with"?

Precious friends, to date no one has shown Plainly And Clearly, From Scriptures, which one

of these traditions God Commands for those of us who believe in The BLOOD And The Resurrection of The LORD JESUS CHRIST!

Would not this 'Confusion' be from the enemy, and "Not from God" 1 Corinthians 14:33 ?

Why are very few 'interested' in "studying This Issue Rightly Divided" in order to find The Real Truth From God's HOLY Word?

Thus, I believe and have spoken - I was once a 'proud denominationalist' but God Caused me to repent, When He Led me to HIS Truth.

    Thank you Earl,

I also concur with what Rick has presented. He makes a great point about the "cares of this world" affecting our peace. This comes from the word MERIMNA which is the only weapon Satan uses against us. The words care, anxiety, worry, and stress all come from this word. Once we surrender our lives to Christ, the next step is to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Satan knows he has lost us forever to Christ. He knows he can't take us away, so what does he do? He chases us, pursues us (DIOKO) in order to tire us out and make us want to give up. He keeps our minds occupied and distracted with the cares of this life in order to stunt our growth process in Christ Jesus. He can't take our salvation from us, but he can hinder our growth process!

You are healed from sickness and sin. As it is written:

"Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." -- James 5:14-15
  • David - In Reply - 4 years ago
James Healed from all diseases mental physical and spiritual also, the sin we were born in broken fellowship Ephesians 2:1+2 we were without God and without Hope Ephesians 2:12.

This is the sin that Adam succumb to then man was separated from God which eventually brought death. Jesus Christ paid in full that separation and we became sons and daughters by rebirth spiritually and been made righteous by what he paid for with His broken body and shed blood.

Read Romans 5-9 it explains a lot the word of God speaks louder than any man.

When he was raised from the dead and sat down at Gods right hand our redemption was complete now all we need to do

is walk in the believing faith of everything paid for by His Sacrifice.
  • Rick - In Reply - 4 years ago
Hi James That is a loaded answer and I'm sure there will lots of feed back, this was prophecy of what was Going to be done to out Saviour before the crucifixion. His visage the way he appeared after they beat Jesus literally almost to death was so bad you did not want to look at Him!

That's why pilate after they beat him and before the crucifixion said behold your king, because he was pulverised. Can you imagine Pilate when Jesus said to Pilate John 19:11 you not have this power unless it was given thee from above, and he was standing next to a bloody mess! Everything he went through was done to deliver us from the power of the adversary, we are healed 1 Peter 2:23+24 after the fact by His stripes we have been healed.

By His shed blood all our sins broken fellowship is forgiven when we Repent and Confess Romans 10:9+10 and begin to walk by faith in him. Believe it or not He literally died not from the wounds but of a broken heart in John 19:34 when they pierced His side water and blood came out. The movie passion of the Christ is a good portrayal of what they did and what he looked like, I believe it was worse than even that and yet this man never sinned!

We will never fully comprehend or appreciate what he went through and I can't think about it too long without going to tears, a totally innocent man did this for us who do not deserve any of what we have been delivered from

    for all eternity. AMEN!

God is not man or ever will be because never changes . He is eternal the same always .

Jesus is the Son OF God not God that's impossible for any man to be GOD .

Of God yes , came from God born of God . Yes The SON OF GOD . This was Gods own testimony at Jesus baptism.

Precious friend Victor, IF God's ETERNAL Salvation "is false," then I believe we have A Severe BIBLICAL problem With the Following Truths Of The SAVIOUR, The LORD JESUS CHRIST!

1 The LORD "Knows them that are His" 2 Timothy 2:19, And, The LORD "Has ALWAYS Known them that are His" Ephesians 1:4

2 The LORD "Has NEVER Known" them that "Are NOT His" Matthew 7:21-23

3 Therefore, it is BIBLICALLY 'Impossible' for "one to be saved, AND THEN to be lost" Correct?

    Hi Mishael,

Thanks for the encouragement. I meant that I was finished contributing the conversation on the topic of that thread.

I plan to remain on this site and contribute to conversations as I feel led by the Spirit to engage in. I am not at all bothered by any one being tenacious in their positions on a topic. I am that way, as well. But I do love to hear peoples ideas. It helps a believer grow and strengthens us.

This forum has the difficulty of us really not knowing each other personally, so right and wrong assumptions can be made about someone. That is why I heed I Scripture concerning looking out for the best interests of others. I also wish to think the best of others and believe that, like myself, they have good intentions.

I am tough in the sense that I don't let what people say bother me too much. I just pray for God to show me if what they say about me might be true so I can pray for a change in me. On the other hand, I will speak to what I perceive as unfair or unkind words or actions. We are called to do this in the Word, but are to do so in love.

Thanks for your tender care towards me.

    Hi Sacha.

    That is a Great question.!!

It would be great togetfeed back.

", when God said : let us make man in our image , was He just talking about Adam , the first Adam , the one from the dust who didn't have a belly button or , was He talking about Jesus , the second Adam ? Or was He talking about us , redeemed and ressurected through Christ our Saviour ? Is this : making man in our image , an on going process that will only be completed when Christ turns the Kingdom over to his Father and God is All in All ? Would like to hear what you think please ."

    God bless.

Thank you All for responding to my query. After studying your replies I was able to concentrate on what I am after.

Please help me with Isaiah-53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." I am confused as to what we are healed from.-Please point me to Scripture.

Also please help me with Isaiah-1:18 "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." What sins are we forgiven? Your help would be much appreciated. Your Brother in Christ.

Brother Dan, the throne of God is a LITERAL PHYSICAL place, CHRIST IN YOU. As Christ is the throne of his Father, because the Father indwells Christ, Christ indwells you, making you the THRONE of the Father, Son and you.

Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh, I will grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Isaiah 66:1 Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool:

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a NEW HEAVEN..... the NEW dwelling place and the NEW throne of God..CHRIST IN YOU

Isaiah 66:1 ........where is the THE HOUSE ye built unto me

Hebrews 3:6 ...But Christ as a son over his own house, whose HOUSE WE ARE

Isaiah 66:1 .......and where is my place of REST.....The Father and His Son Jesus Christ and YOU are at REST TOGETHER in the NEW heaven, the NEW temple made without hands, the NEW place of worship ( John 4:19-22).

Cease from your works as God has ceased from his works, the WORKS were FINISHED at the cross.

The only LABOUR left is to bring man TO KNOWLEDGE

Isaiah 5:13 Therefore my people go into captivity, because they have no KNOWLEDGE: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitudes dried up with thirst.

Good Morning Laverne When we confess Romans 10:9+10 we are born again of Gods Spirit and at that time we become spiritually His child and we have the Peace of God John 14:27 which passes all understanding.

If we don't endeavor to build Gods Word and walk by the spirit the cares of this world will effect our peace, and let the peace of God rule this means[to be president or dominate all decisions] to which ye are called and be thankful[ in everything]. The more we renew our minds to scripture the more we let Gods Word dominate our thoughts we will develop the fruits of the spirit, love joy [peace] longsuffering meekness temperance against such is no law. This is not automatic its happens over time. Prayerfully this helps.

Hosea 3:1 Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.

Does this mean a man & a women that are both widowed and in there 70's & 80's that wish to have a sexual relationship would be called adulteress unless they get married?

Hi Brother Dan What you shared is a tremendous figure of speech called condescensio which is attributing to God human characteristics to explain his workings at our level the way he functions. Examples God bared His arm, the eyes of the lord Go to and fro in the earth, God walks with us and talks with us, and of course the one you gave. In Gods word these are used precisely to bring our attention to a specific point. Its a very interesting study in itself, also the bible has over 400 of them in it incredible.

    Laverne,

Colossians 3:15 starts out by saying "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts." Please notice that all this comes under "put on the new life." If you're saved and Christ is in you, it's a matter of deciding what way you're going to go. We're to let the peace of God rule in our hearts.

Romans 5:1 says that after having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. That's positional. We always have peace with God, but we don't always experience the peace of God. We are no longer His enemy. We are at peace with Him.

    But we're told to let the peace of God rule in our hearts, to the which also you are called in one body;

The word peace, EIRENE in Greek means to be united. The peace of Christ, and the peace of God, it just means to be at one with Him. When I'm under the influence of God's Spirit, the unity that's already existing flows from one believer to the other in one body.

The next command: and be ye thankful. That's not a human practice. That also is a ministry of God's Spirit. It's part of the new life. Just put it on!

Hi tough Lady Thought you would get a kick out of that, we can be tough on the word but tender in the heart, Peter before being born again was as you put it was a tough guy. In luke 5 After Jesus taught Gods Word he entered Simon Peters boat and prayed or ask Him to let down the nets for a draught, verse 5 reminds me of us on occasion or at least me. I love his natural unbelieving response Master we you know fishing and we have been at this all night haven't got nothing but to appease you[I'm having fun with this] I will let down the net. Now was that what Jesus Christ said and always did the fathers will said nope he said let down your nets. Here's the grace they let down the net and got so many fish the net broke, Peter called to the partners help, than verse seven the guilt fell down at His knees and said leave me I'm a sinful man. So Jesus Christ said why don't you listen are you stupid no I'll bet with loving tender eyes, he looks and says from now on you'll catch men. I think sometimes we beat ourselves up too much for our faults when the idea is confess the broken fellowship learn and move on or we dwell too much on the error. Just some heart
