    To; MM Maqhutyana,

Prayer for your continued safety. May you NOT be "fixed" one by one! In Jesus name! But rather, that your enemies would be scattered. I also pray for them right now that they would be brought low to repentance and arise new creatures in Christ Jesus, amen? Amen! I ask it in Jesus name! Thank You God! Aleleuia

    Matthew 17:20

My mind goes back to when I was a young woman newer in my faith.

My weekly trips to the grocery stores 25 miles away by car, were a time of prayer and reflection.

I was sincerely seeking God about Matthew 17:20. Armed with the information (Before I had google ) that a mustard seed was indeed the smallest of seeds, I began to seek The Lord earnestly with my small faith and my whole heart to move a "literal' mountain I had chosen in a very distinct spot who's location I was SURE wouldn't be forgotten or mistaken!

Six months I prayed earnestly each time I was whisked by my mountain on my way to the grocery stores, never seeing any sign of the mountain moving. I'm sure I questioned and borderline doubted but I didn't give up!

Around the sixth month, I noticed some work truck action around the base of "my" mountain. Almost losing heart I thought for sure it wasn't gonna happen. And then after awhile I began to notice 18 wheeler type trucks coming from the base of "my" mountain hauling gravel!

It's still a gravel company to this day!

God answered my prayer! His word is true. He WILL move Heaven and Earth when His child stand's on His promises! He didn't do it like I imagined, but in His Wisdom. And I'm ok with that. This was over 20 years. I am standing on His promises today. And when I pray for you, I think of "my" mountain! And I don't give up! And I don't stop believing!

Another area in the word that most christians don't understand is renewed mind, because until a christian by

his will changes His mind to line up his thoughts on the word of God he will never walk by the spirit and manifest what

God has made available. As far as my understanding the renewed mind is the key to walking by the spirit because your

body is controlled by the mind and the mind has to be made captive.

2 Corinthians 10:4+5 this is Gods will and our job to do we bring every thought, that is why there are a lot of

scripture dealing with[ heart mind thought] we bring every thought captive to the obedience of the christ in us which is lifetime of work. Most christians do not believe this is required, there comfort zone is Romans 10:9+10 but again a lot have not been taught or don't believe it.

Hi Darin The queen of the South was Sheba a leader of remarkable power wisdom of the world, so she went to see

what she had heard of the wisdom of Solomon. This is really remarkable because this ruler took the time out to see for

herself if what she was told was true, in other words I have to see it to believe it. Then look at what the scripture says

when she saw 1 Kings 10:1-13 she looked at everything and was blown away at the order and beauty and understanding

that God gave Solomon and how He served or ruled Gods People and how they Honored him. Our Lord and Saviours walk

exhibited the same only much greater and perfectly.

Eric, every Walmart in the world has King James Bibles. Priced reasonable. It's the most accurate Bible in my opinion.

This is serious, we need to read the Bible ourselves to be 100% sure with our own eyes.

There were 4 disciples in the New Testament that were eyewitness's to the day of Jesus's Crucifixion and by reading Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, write of those events they individually witnessed; also Mary Magdalene and Mary. The books were written at different times, but events were recorded and canonized by The Church.

After Jesus's resurrection he was seen walking around ALIVE by more than 500 people who testified seeing him.

See, you are a witness too. You know what Jesus has done for you too. It's your testimony. We are disciples too. We have stories to tell also.

What I'm trying to convey, is if you are born again, then Jesus has baptized you with the Holy Spirit. He is the Spirit of Christ and will teach you (every day) what you have been given. We all have to take our own egos off the throne of our hearts, and invite Jesus to sit on it.

I always know when I'm straying some, because just like God said to Adam in the Garden of Eden, "Adam, where are you?" Hiding in the bushes wastes time.

I want to encourage you to search the Bible to always verify what is commented on in this forum, or church, or YouTube preachers; matches up with Scriptures. Not all websites are truth.

Im so blessed to see a new believer in Jesus. This website has a Search Engine (kinda like google ) that searches the entire Bible really fast. The red Link page has lots of links you can explore. People write their testimonies of how they came to believe on Jesus.

    Keep coming back.
  • WHO WILL YOU CHOOSE TO BELIEVE - 4 years ago
Jesus saved me from sure death. He reached into my living hell and pulled me up out of despair and darkness of the occult.

I was free but if you only have 10 minutes of Bible in you (like me) "they" come back to steal, kill, destroy. The manifestations were frightening.

I knew I had to be baptized to show that I had a new life and a new Lord. I only knew that the Blood of Jesus could save me. I went under the water in victory, and came up Clean.

There are people who have done so much bad or just plain evil; consciously and unconsciously. Let them know THE BLOOD OF JESUS will absolutely defeat anything satan has in his arsenal. If you were being held down with an invisible hand over your mouth..your Born Again Spirit can reach Gods throne and armies of angels immediately if you plead the Blood of Jesus.

You must be born again, washed in Jesus blood.

Someone may read this and help someone else get free. If someone says there is no hellthey can't help people like I was. Example: look what satan did to Job. Job didn't do anything. I think God is trying to show us who really causes all the bad things that happen.

That was before the Son of God came to earth and became the Son of Man (human) as a newborn baby. When Jesus died on the Cross, Satan believed he had won! He killed the son of God (who also was fully human). Jesus came out of the tomb with Authority, Power over Death, Hell and the Grave. He went down to the prison of people satan incarcerated; and took the keys!!! One of those keys said, Mishael.

Hell was emptied that day. But now all people have a CHOICE to make: eternal life with Jesus, OR by neglecting so great a salvation.they will end up in hell to be judged at the Great White Throne judgment. BECAUSE THEY DID NOT CHOOSE JESUS. The verdict will be eternal separation in Hell.

Anyone who says there is no hell is a false teacher. Jesus preached on hell more than anyone else in the Bible. Who are you going to believe?
  • Chris - In Reply on Matthew 13 - 4 years ago
Yes Diane, Jesus did have brothers & sisters. But these came after the baby Jesus was first miraculously born through the Holy Spirit's impartation of Holy Seed into Mary. Mary was a virgin at Jesus' Birth, as prophesied about the manner of His Birth ( Isaiah 7:14) So Jesus' siblings were His half-brothers & half-sisters.

I praise the LORD for He continually reminds me of HIS character and HIS nature. How He brought forth HIS children from bondage and into His grace and mercy. That I may remember His strong hand, His merciful love, His comforting voice, His peaceful countenance, His wondrous grace, His righteous judgements and guiding light. Thank you Father for Your mercy surely is from everlasting to everlasting. Your grace is more than sufficient for me. Love You Father God.

I will always look to Your mercy, and love when I am feeling lost or in despair. Thank you for your daily benefits and gifts.

Bless our nation and have us to remember to be thankful for your daily benefits and provision. November 23, 2021

    Uh No,

I am not trying to lecture anyone. Just sharing my thoughts and explaining my ideas. Some people like to post and read things that are short and sweet. Others like to post and read more lengthy posts.

I hope you will be blessed by what people share.

    God's blessing to you always.

Amen David, a goal to look forward to indeed.

Just as Jesus stedfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem ( Luke 9:51), and from that time forward, nothing could get Him off track, so are we to run the race set before us with our eyes fixed on Jesus. The word stedfastly means a fixed established position. This is probably where Paul got his ministry. In Philippians, when he strives for the high calling in Christ Jesus, he has got one thing in mind, one direction in where he heads, and that is the mission for which Christ has sent him. Just as Jesus had a fixed established position towards Jerusalem where nothing was going to stop Him, we are to also set our face toward Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith ( Hebrews 12:2).

I think the amazing thing about the Lord's baptism was the way all three Persons of the Trinity affirmed the moment!

    Grace,

There are modest ways for women and girls to be baptized in water. It is offensive to allude that it is like a wet T-shirt contest. And in the same vein, their are modest ways for men to be baptized in water so that their private areas are not accentuated.

Hi Aaron, yeah sometimes life gets hard. We have to look to Yahweh to overcome and strengthen us. Stay in his word brother.

Hi Grace, your first baptismal was enough. The father knows who you are referring to when you were baptized. We don't serve a dumb God. I mean if we want to get technical there was no J back then. So Jesus was really probably Yahshua. But Yahweh isn't hindered by that nor is his hand shortened. God Bless!

    Hello dear Grace;

You were baptized "in the name" of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. The Son's name became Jesus when He was incarnated. But you were baptized into His "name", so be comforted, you were baptized in the name of Jesus.

Revelation 22:14-15. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Have you noticed in the conclusion of all things? The judgement and fire have past and the redeemed inside the gate and sinners left out?

"So much for fire refining the sinner and all people going to heaven."

If that don't do it here's another verse in the same chapter.

verse :11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

In the conclusion here I don't see everyone being refined by fire and going to heaven!

St Paul I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the Power of God for Salvation

R C Sproul (Sermon: The Transforming Power of the Gospel)

I'm sure there are many reasons that motivate us to change the gospel because we perceive the gospel to be not good news, but bad news, or at least if it's not good news, it's not the best news, and we can improve it and make it better than the gospel that it is.

May be that's what motivates us.

May be it's because the gospel reduces is to shame, and we can't stand that shame, and so we want to change it.

Or we see it as a stumbling block, and people are hostile to it, and so we figure that a little spoonful of sugar might make the medicine go down and so we soften it. We delude it in our attempt to improve upon it.

Sheila you are wrong water baptisim does not save, only the blood

of jesus christ. col 1-14 in whom we have redemtion through his

blood even the forgiveness of sins, not water but the blood saves sinners, the thief

on the cross did not need water he needed the blood of jesus christ to forgive

him, once you have been born again spiritually you will want to obey gods

commands of baptisim but it does not save you from hell, repent and believe the

gospel saves the sinner, churches are teaching you false teaching you are either

oneness heresy or church of christ heresy. repent of this lie. heb 9-22 without the shedding

of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.

I said my piece, and (respectfully) I don't want to be lectured to. I'm military and I try to keep it simple (KISS). So again, I think the conversation has gotten too complicated, and off subject. On the other hand, it's good to think and research God's Word. God bless you.

    The conclusion of all things.

    Revelation 22:1-7.

Let's skip ahead to 2 neglected verses.

Revelation 22:10-11. And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Here's where the unjust will remain unjust, and the just will remain just. Meaning judgement is past tense by the time we get here.

Revelation 22:12. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Sounds familiar? ( 1 Corinthians 3:14-15.)

Revelation 22:14-15. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Verse 14 we have the redeemed! They're the just that will stay just mentioned in verse 11. How did they do his commandments? By Atonement!

    Romans 3:24-28.

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

    Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

    Also: 1 John 2:1-2.

    And Hebrews 10:14-17.

    Revelation 5:9. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

    God bless.
