To Adam, on your reply to Chris:

I very much agree with your statement. As their is much out there to deceive but God knows everything. As I know the Word of God is in the Bible I believe the Lord want's us to search it out instead of just believing every single word in the book. With my own eyes I have seen things that just don't feel right, things changed through versions, and things removed through versions of the Bible also. This proves the Word of God is not preserved in a book printed by man. The 1611 KJV is the best we have to my knowledge. Love one another my brothers an sisters, repent from sin and bear good fruit to make the Lord happy. Life may not be easy but keep your faith and pray. Our Eternal Father loves you and will not fail you. God bless you all in Jesus Christ!

I've looked and search and I'm just trying to be clear....the 25th verse says nothing about meeting in a building...so to speak in those days of the writer, there were no other forms of communication that could draw a closeness such as we have with technology today.....

There are so many people i've spoken to in reference to not being inside a church building, yet they are able to meet through a media platform...

question: Where in the bible does it state that the assembling is necessarily the inside of walls today....thanks, be bless.

    Matthew 12:33

Guys, we are the fruit. Jesus is the Tree.
  • September 26 NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER - In Reply on 1 Peter 4:12 - 5 years ago
Prayer. Nobody really wants to do that. However, our Lord Jesus sits at the right hand of God: every day, every night, 24/7 and intercedes for Christians around the globe.

There's a prayer request room on this website, that is full of people waiting for someone to agree with them on touching their needs.

Check the "thread" button to see if they've been prayed for YET.

Prayerlessness of the Church of Jesus has gotten us, all of this trouble we're going through.

SEPTEMBER 26 has been set aside as a NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER.

Google your community to see if and where people may be meeting.

If you're old or disabled, we still need to be a part of that.

If Adam had not sinned, and was able to resist Satan for the allotted time period (possibly 1000 years) then there would have been no need for God to promise the coming of His Son in Genesis 3:15.

After they disobeyed, the skin was added ( Genesis 3:21).

Reproduction was a gift given to all of mankind, including Adam and Eve, on the 6th day, before they disobeyed ( Genesis 1:28, 2:25).
  • GOD RATHER NOT THE DEATH OF A SINNER - In Reply on Isaiah 1 - 5 years ago
    Dear LisaOnIsaiah1:

God bless you! I noted with great concern your crying out to God to help you and my heart bleeds. Dearest sister, God does not rather the death of anyone but that all should repent and turn from their sinful ways to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. God has set a standard to meet this requirement and it is not hard. First, you must hate sin and anything that is sinful and have a desire to know and follow God's righteousness. You to become a child of God, you must: (READ ACTS 2 and follow those instructions to be saved)

    1. Repent - Go to God and confess your sins and tell Him you are sorry for your sins and you want to turn away from your sins and be reborn (born again)

    2. You must be baptism in water in the Redemptive Name of Jesus (a sign that you have turn (bury) the old man and now rise from that water grave a new person (if any man be in Christ s/he is a new creation, old things are passed away, all things become new)!

    3. Seek the infilling of the Holy Spirit (The Holy Spirit will now help you to live righteous daily - THE HELPER)

    4. Pray daily and confess your sins and ask God to forgive you

    5. Make sure your heart is right with God - turn away from anything sinful and strive to life righteous

    6. Tell others as you go that there is a great judgment daily coming and man must be saved to avoid the great lake of fire and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.

    7. Read the Word of God and ask God the Holy Spirit to enlighten you and teach you the Word.

    8. OLD THINGS ARE PASS AWAY - (all things are now new...) - do only righteous things (your guide: before you do them, ask yourself "WOULD GOD DO THINGS, SAY THIS OR GO TO THESE PLACES? If you deed it NO, THEN YOU MUST NOT THEM THEM EITHER! Love and praying for you sister. Hope to see you in heaven some sweet day. Stay bless!

Do what God has called you to do.

Do not worry about what man thinks.

    Follow God's example.

    Judges 4:4

And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.

    Joel 2:28

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

    Acts 2:17

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

    Acts 21:8-9

And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.

And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.

The hedge that surrounded Job is the True Church, the Bride of Christ. This is a lamb's protection, outside of this Church, the hedge is far more dangerous and leaves for far more influences that can steal and kill the Truth once delivered. Job did not at first understand the quality of that hedge but he learned later the Truth of it. Our righteousness is within the hedge and not of ourselves, if we try to work around this hedge we are poor, blind and naked.
  • Adam - In Reply on Acts 8:37 - 5 years ago
    Hi Chris,

I don't believe God deceives people, but he allows satan to, and for you to deceive yourselves. In the past God used special circumstances to interact someone more than normal too, like hardening Pharaohs heart, like allowing satan to tempt Job, allowing people to not see or understand things unless they genuinely sought the truth. If you look at 2 Thessalonians 2:11 it said God sent them a 'delusion'. It says in verse 9 satan is behind it. How do you know for certain that God didn't just allow satan to do the tempting? He could have easily been the delusion. It doesn't say God 'made' them believe the lie either, it was likely still their own choice. People can often blind themselves by having a hard heart. Jesus said that's why he spoke in parables that way: Matthew 13:13.

So, I provided evidence that is consistent with the rest of scripture that I do not believe God tempts James 1:13 or deceives people, but that for everyone He allows satan to roam and tempt, and in certain circumstances in the Bible he interacted more intimately with people to truly challenge them so that through it God's glory would be revealed.

    God bless...

"Blessed Quietness" Manie P. Ferguson 19th Century

    Joys are flowing like a river, Since the Comforter has come;

He abides with us forever, Makes the trusting heart His home.

Blessed quietness, holy quietness, Blest assurance in my soul!

On the stormy sea Jesus speaks to me, And the billows cease to roll!

Everything is turned to gladness, All around this glorious Guest,

Banished unbelief and sadness, All is perfect peace and rest.

Blessed quietness, holy quietness, Blest assurance in my soul!

On the stormy sea Jesus speaks to me, And the billows cease to roll!

Like the rain that falls from heaven, Like the sunlight from the sky,

So the Holy Spirit given, Falls upon us from on high.

Blessed quietness, holy quietness, Blest assurance in my soul!

On the stormy sea Jesus speaks to me, And the billows cease to roll!

What a wonderful salvation, Where we always see His face!

What a peaceful habitation, What a quiet resting place!

Blessed quietness, holy quietness, Blest assurance in my soul!

On the stormy sea Jesus speaks to me, And the billows cease to roll!

@D.J, the question is: Did God have plan for multiplication of the human race before they disobeyed? Was it after that they sinned (disobeyed), that the plan was revealed and the "7 layers of membrane" removed to form the reproductive organs?

    To CARLETON

The Word of God is God ( John 1:1) and the scriptural references we use serve as confirmation that it is not us that speak, but the Spirit of our Father that speaketh in us ( 2 Samuel 23:2; Matthew 10:20; Acts 4:8; 6:10).

Why do ye not understand me? Please read 1 Cor. 2:14 and John 8:43-45 and you will learn who erred.

We must now shake the dust of our feet and continue our communication with those where our work may be fruitful ( Matthew 10:14; Mark 6:11; Luke 9:5) and please remember: Ye must repent and turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

Seek, and ye shall find ( Matthew 7:7).

    In His Service.

The sanctification that you speak of is according to HIS righteousness. We are not of the world but we are in the world. With this in mind God does not want us to turn our back on evil , but know the evil is their and the enemy of the cross is very real! The real question for me is how we allow the spirit to work in our lives and be a shining light so others may see the truth in Gods word? Being led by the spirit ,a process that requires us to believe and knowing that we make mistakes along the way? These mistakes (sins) may provide motivational progress for the unbeliever! Let those who make mistakes, know that you are forgiven for the sake of Jesus Christ death and Resurrection, thereby those who see may believe!

Dear Andy, that is true. It is as you preach and I speak, that proper faith and repentance leads men to eternal peace, this is in the Word. The Word is not offensive is is a guide and it will never be separate from Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit. Andy, I have met many professing Christians over the years that have a very pointed message that was revealed to the by God for everyone else. It is common. Many humble servants of God remember themselves publicly as weak vessels as they handle God's Word for the benefit of edification and love for others. Regarding man-made institutions, please remember that everything is God's dust, he can give Life where he pleases and how he pleases and when he pleases all with the hope of Life everlasting in his Son, Jesus Christ who suffered in and on the cross for your salvation and the salvation of all who would come to Him as little children. Like Samuel, I heard his voice as a child and came to Him in due time. I have the peace of the Holy Spirit residing upon me and in me. It is my testimony of His Truths.
