I just wanted to come in I also thought it was funny at first that Abraham was bargaining in such a way with the Lord, then I realized that Abraham and his family had a covenant with Jesus that even Jesus couldn't destroy, so who better to bargain for his family members in the sin cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Indeed I think that Jacob is a nasty man; all other characters; esua, laban are more decent than he is; except for Rachel the thief ..she is one of hell of a daughter ...she matches Jacob .. in being nasty.....

Your experience is very personal. Do see The Apostles' Creed, Nicene Creed, and The Sinners' Prayer too. We are born separated from God because of Adam's sin. We need to be atonement at one ment with God through grace of Jesus Christ. We need to be sealed with The Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ. In Christ. When we commit mortal sins, we need to rededicate and pray tbe same prayers as said. By grace with faith through Jesus Christ. Ask All Three Persons of God into your heart and soul too. God bless.

Salvation in Christ is The Seal of The Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ. How many really have The Seal of The Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ? How many will have Their Names Written in The Lamb's Book of Life?

It is of the heart with repentance firstly. Nicene Creed applies. Apostles' Creed applies. The Sinners' Prayer applies. (All are born separated from God because of Adam's sin and need atonement At One Ment with God through Jesus Christ. We still do sin after sealed with The Holy Spirit. Therefore, confessing sins still applies and repentance of sins after being in Christ applies. Mortal sins are in need of rededication by doing the same Prayer of faith and grace of asking Jesus Christ into your heart and soul. None of this matters if it is not all done with one's heart.)

Salvation belongs to The Lord. It is a miracle when one gets sealed with The Holy Spirit. God makes that manifest.

Numbers 14 states that those under 20 years old survived with Caleb and Joshua for the forty years in the wilderness and did go into The Promise Land with Caleb and Joshua. Therefore, Caleb and Joshua had many with them. Later in years in the Promise Land a Remnant was saved too. Many of which were Saphardic Spanish Jews that chose not to go back to Israel after The Battle of Babylon.

Friend that is where you're wrong. Jesus saves from sins in the past only. If you're sinning presently, you did not get saved by God the Creator nor by His Son Jesus. And you won't need saved from future sins if you were saved and stopped the sin business. There is where false religion has failed. If you say you are a Christian, then listen to what Jesus told a man and then a woman in John.

John 5:14 "Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee." Jesus says here "Sin no more"

John 8:11 "She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more." And again here, "Sin no more". There's no room for big or little sin in sin no more.

So if Jesus told both man and woman to sin no more, how much sin can you and I do after salvation? NONE.

Jesus is bigger and more powerful than the sinning Christian experience, the get saved every night at your bedside experience, or the once saved always saved experience.

Here is what Jeremiah records that God said on false ministry:

    Jeremiah 23:21, 22

"I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings."

Any preacher that teaches you cannot be saved from is a liar and God did not send him or her. If the preacher teaches of a god that is too weak to save you from sin, they are teaching about a false god.

So again I'll ask what I did earlier that has yet to be answered; If you could stop sinning, would you? If you say no, then you told on yourself that you'd rather sin. If you say yes, then why haven't you stopped the sin business? If you are going to spend an eternity with God in His Heaven, you stop the sin now. If you excuse sin, it tells us you aren't right in your heart.

I am living free from sin now. Jesus took all my sins ( past, present, future) and.....

    Psalms Chapter 103

10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

**12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions (sins) from us.

13 Like as a father pitieth [his] children, [so] the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

After the flood, they were no more. They had no BODY to make babies with. Ever since then, they have had no fleshly body; big, little, giant, petite.

DEMONS are invisible. They gain illegal access to humans, who give that illegal access. But demons are invisible body cannot produce (can I say it?) fluids.

Unless you are discussing spiritual warfare ?? Why are you focusing on this? I'm curious.

    Thanks for your responses,

My Pastor said that not only the fallen angels procreated with the daughters of Adam, but that the result of the act between Satan and Eve was Cain. This seems to make sense to me because God then separates the seed of Satan from the seed of Eve and pronounces issues with birth for Eve and all women after that. Why else would God talk about these things. And when God went to talk to Adam and Eve after they sinned, they wrapped fig leaves around their loins, not their mouth if they ate an apple. It seems to all fit.

    Hello Jackie,

I've never heard the breaking of the law explained that way before, however, we know that Adam was never under the Law so not sure if I could see him or his generation being involved with breaking the Law... We learn from Paul that Adam's death penalty that he received for his transgression, reigned until the time of Moses, then God gave Moses the Law of Sin and Death, to give to the Israelites and the strangers that chose to live with them... That Law reigns until the time of Jesus's death on the cross...The cross made it possible to free anyone that believes that Law applies to them to be freed from it and to be able to live their lives alive In Christ, free from the Law of Sin and Death...

If you are simply meaning the breaking of the first set of stone tablets versus the 2nd set of stone tablets, I still see it that Moses broke the first set because he was angry that the Israelites had built and were worshiping the golden calf they had made as their false god...

Then Joshua went back up on the mountain with Moses and the 2nd set of tablets was made... It would appear that even though the Israelites were a stiff necked bunch that they were not worshiping a false god when Moses and Joshua returned the 2nd time....

I'm not able to connect Adam with the Law because the Law came after his death and he was never party with God to the Law...God told Adam the day that he eats from the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he will surely die...

Most folks believe that death penalty meant physical death, but we know that cannot be true because Adam went on to physically live for about 700 years... The death penalty Adam received was needing to be reconciled back to God, I call that spiritual death instead of physical death... Spiritual death simply means, anyone that believes they and all others are sinners is spiritually dead and that person needs to be reconciled to God via gaining an understanding of the purpose of the cross...

    Have a great day...

They all died in the flood (drowned): The fallen angels that followed Satan.

They had no bodies any longer. That's when they became invisible. Ephesians 6.

They could get into unprotected, unrighteous humans; but they cannot procreate anymore.

Evil human beings can let their bodies be possessed by demons: as in witches.

Born again people can be Oppressed, but NOT possessed. The need prayer of agreement to be relieved.

Eve was tempted with food first.

Satan attacks Jesus after fasting from food 40 days. He tempted with food.

We all need to rein in our appetites. Even me. When the flesh screams starvation.. I just tell it to get thee behind me satan; in the Name of Jesus. Drink some water.

The Bible says that after the 40 days, Jesus was hungry (not thirsty). He drank water.

Fasting makes the body attack the built up glue that is in the G.I. Tract. It eats it off.

That's easy. Fasting from entertainment and media toys is much harder!

Declare your fast. Let the Lord know you're fasting from food, to feast on Gods Word.

A fasted la pleasing to the Lord.

Hi Mishael, just noticed your reply about Genesis 6 giants/Nephilim. If you don't think they're from angels and humans, then what do you think that verse means?
  • Mishael - In Reply on Mark 2 - 5 years ago
No....and no. Humans in heaven will be like the angels. There will be no marriage, dating or anything like that.

If you opt to stay on earth....it's going to be burned with fire (as in cleansed).

When we perceive someone has put a curse on us; we have only to pray that God heal us through the blood of Jesus.

I have asked that the curse be returned to sender, because of the fig tree that would not produce fruit.

Most of us have no idea of what kinds of things witch covens pray for. It is so evil.

Jesus conquered that evil on the day He was crucified! As His children we have only to use the authority that Christ has given to us, to turn back the curses. Stand safe upon the Rock which is Jesus.

Demons are invisible; it makes no sense to our natural minds: but demons know they are going to hell. Ephesians 6

Bind them. Loose the opposite of their works. Send them to the desert, to wander until judgement.

    Hate evil. Love God.

People have 3 gates by which to process the scriptures.

By speaking the scriptures as you read out loud: mouth gate.

    Seeing the scriptures: eye gate.

By hearing what you are speaking: ear gate.

So no matter if you are , deaf, blind, or cannot speak; the Word of God will enter into you.

If sin wasn't an event after salvation ,we wouldn't need most of the new testament instructing us how to think and act ,it would just be a natural course for us who have first believed to live out our faith without any instruction whatsoever .sin.is ever present ,but we have a way of escape.. ,to resist the devil and to walk in the spirit, but it's a battle everyday ,we are told it will be, we still have our old man ,the flesh; verse the new man;the spirit .And besides all this, its not our works which save us but by believing in Jesus and his death and by putting all our faith on what "he "did ,no one is getting into heaven by being good enough.
