The scripture Amos 8: 11 is surely prophetic, for in these times with the almost complete shutdown of houses of worship , fellowship among believers is essentially virtual and not in person. Hearing God's word has always been -by way of the ' spoken word'. Now for the near or foreseeable future , God's word may or will be by reading -for those who possess a Bible , or online ,or previous recorded sermons... but for most , it will be virtual , for the live spoken word cannot be duplicated. Who thought that it happen this way . The houses of worship have been shut by this pestilence - which in a strange way ....fulfills the Prophecy of Amos.

I'm desperately in need of a financial blessing. I'm struggling with student loan and credit cards bill. Please pray for God to grant me His favor. I can't do this on my own. I truly need God's Divine intervention. Thank you for your prayer.

"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation." 2 Peter 1:20 We must remember there is only 1 way to understand God's Word. That one way is the true way God intended. There are no "interpretations". That is man's lie. I have trouble understanding things in the Bible too - I pray to God to increase my faith and help me understand. He always answers this prayer, because it is His will we understand! Go with the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, brother!

The gospel of Jesus Christ (that everyone through time has preached to the unsaved and unlearned) is easy to remember: The BIRTH, LIFE, DEATH and RESURRECTION of Jesus. Our Messiah.
He's not dead. He is seated at the right hand of God, making intercession for the
Saints. Remember he told Peter "I have prayed for you". He prays for us every day 24/7. Remember to praise Him :)

At the top of this website is a SEARCH box. You can type in BAPTISM and read every scripture on baptism. It will provide insight unmistakable if you will do the hard thing (study like a rock star).
Baptism is the first act of obedience. It's a wonderful experience.

How do we forget there's a real devil running all over earth. Who possesses a WILL contrary to God. Humans have free will. Bad things happen because of them. We aren't puppets.
If you believe God or Jesus are capable of heinous acts against humankind...then you my friend are an ACCUSER. That's one of satans names. Your will is fully invested in shaking other people's faith. The only person who can forgive and set you free is the One you accuse: Jesus Christ.

What's with all the acidic preaching? Jesus did not preach that way. He did speak strongly to Pharisees and Saducees, etc. He spoke to people where they were: farmers, tradesmen, fishermen, etc. Shoot me some examples of Him tearing off arms & legs?

David, Baptism is not a requirement to be saved, the only requirement to be saved is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ alone for Salvation, remember Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:Not of works, lest any man should boast. Baptism (Water) is a work. We put our Faith in Jesus alone(As instructed), not Jesus + Our Baptism. It's even clear that a man can be saved without being Baptized (Water). remember the thief on the cross who was never baptized but Jesus said " To day shalt thou be with me in paradise." I'm am not against Baptism by no means. But I'm convinced Faith alone in Jesus is enough to be saved.

I have video of evangelists and elders using N.I.V. bibles in different churches Turned to fables.
In newer translated bibles fables is replaced with the word myth.
There is a difference between fables and myths.
Even at the codex sinitrous website at 2 Tim 4:3-4 it clearly reads fables.
There must be sound and unsound doctrine.
The kjv bible is the word of God proven.

there are many videos were men are turned to fables that I can post...
Psalm 12 is proven true as well..

We'll end this here since you're repeating the same questions that people generously offered help for. God allows things to run their course you blame God for you not getting everything your way and receiving a certain VIP level of comfort. Even if it's random or an human accident or evil human intention it sounds like you blame God either way, but don't give him any thanks either for giving you life and all the great joys this temporary life has to offer.

Hi Benji. I am giving you this message not to cause contention but as a message of love because you have erred. Baptism in the name of Jesus is essential for salvation because it is for the remission of sins. Jesus said that unless a man is born of water and of the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God and he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. I pray that you receive this message of love. Amen.
  • David - In Reply on 1 Thessalonians 1 - 6 years ago
Sonti, you should abide in God's word on a daily basis not only in bad circumstances. Jesus said if you continue in his word then you will know the truth and the truth will make you free. Like Benji said you should ask God for understanding as you read and he will reveal to you answers in due time. However, contrary to what a few others have shared you need to be baptized to be saved. It is for the remission of your sins. Jesus said, "except a man be born of water and of the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God," and he also said, "he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved." One more thing, make sure you're baptized in Jesus' name and not the titles Father, Son, Holy Ghost.

God remind us that even the righteous perish, we all must return back to the dust that why it's so important to walk a Christian life best as possible and seek the Lord for strength, we cannot do it on our own. temptation come before us we need help to over come it, it so important to have a connection with the Lord. if we're not careful the littles temptation seem harmless and will lead us astray, let us seek Lord with all our heart.

There is so much good I the world. Christians say God responsible for that. But not for the bad? Then who created the Tsunami? And Plague? Why do you praise God for the good things and let him off the hook for the bad things?
  • V.B. on Isaiah 60 - 6 years ago
we are truly bless to be part of the promise, for those who desire to be save will be save, I thank God for His graces and mercy. to follow Christ is a blessing, He show that He loves everyone because He included the gentile also, it's a shame that some of God people can't see the love in other as the Lord see.

    Hi T-Bone,

The Tsunami Covid19 are pretty big... not really micromanagement.

I feel very privileged to be on this planet and am grateful for everything I have and for the people around me. I want friends who are generous with each other because that is the right thing to do, and because they feel good doing that. Not because they are afraid or are trying to get something in return.

Why are Christians continually afraid and feel they deserve to be continually punished?

Most people will do the right thing if they have enough choice to do so. Only a few will only do the right thing out of fear. Do you feel you have to behave properly, out of fear, and in order to get something?

Question: why do you christians worship jesus christ's "death" instead of his victory over death??? because jesus christ teaches you in revelation 1:18 "i am he that lives, and was dead; and, behold!!!i am alive for evermore!!! amen; and i have the keys of heall and of death!!!

can anybody answer that question??? peace.
  • T Bone - In Reply on Philippians 4 - 6 years ago
Hello, it sounds like you believe God exists, but somehow assume he's supposed to micromanage everything, and somehow assume you're entitled to Him serving you, as if he's a genie in a bottle? You're lucky you even exist, God didn't have to create you. Look at your heart- absolutely nothing causes it to beat currently, but it does. You could call that a miracle you're even alive. Also He didn't have to give you freewill, but did. You could have been a mindless puppet, but you're not. So, you can use that freewill to slander Him all you want, but that's not going to increase your rewards in the afterlife if you're looking for comfort. No one is entitled to anything.
