Brother Norman, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed (flesh dies), but incorruptible (Spirit CANNOT die), by the WORD OF GOD, which liveth, and abideth for ever.

The bible is the written WORD, Christ and the Father are the LIVING WORD.

When the WRITTEN WORD becomes TRUTH to you; you are Born of the (living) word, CHRIST IN YOU.

    We are sinful flesh.

Christ came in the LIKENESS OF SINFUL FLESH.

Christ died on the cross. Therefore WE; sinful flesh, died on the cross with him.

When he arose; His new body was no longer a body of SINFUL FLESH, but a body in the IMAGE OF THE FATHER (GLORIFIED).

We also were raise with him (first resurrection), we were GIVEN a down payment of the SPIRIT.

Upon the departing this of the body of flesh; at it's death, we will be GIVEN the rest of the payment.

    THE FULLNESS OF GOD.

A Son of God in the perfect likeness of Christ.

The NEW HEAVEN, where CHRIST LIVES.

Now a lot of Christian are not aware of this because these days were indoctrinated into Christianity for a very, very, very loan time.

That's how most Christian were introduces to observer Sunday as a day of worship. Sunday is consider to be the day to worship
  • Nancy - In Reply - 4 years ago
This day is honored based on the Hebrew calendar, now the major back in forth of the day Sunday comes from Roman Catholic origins. In the history of Christianity changes were made by them altering of celebrated or observed days to appease Pegan relations with the Catholic Church's.

Hi Yvonne Given I was reading Isaiah 41 full chapter when I came across this commentary Please read the book of (Deuteronomy Chapter 5 King James Version) because NIV has extracted some verses and even chapter of the Bible. Another book that will help with your question would be (Genesis Chapter 2 and Exodus Chapter 20). All these 3 books give the reason and commandment as to why we should observer the Sabbath. Now keep in mind that here and the US we follow Roman/Greek calendar.

    (Part 2)

Some of them (Hebrew people) were considering going back into the old religious system of the Old Testament.

    3) There were also Hebrew unbelievers. These were those who were at these meetings, those who were in the crowd that just did not believe.

So if I understand these three groups, I can better understand some of the scriptures that are being presented. There are sections of scriptures to each one of these three groups in the book of Hebrews.

Now, all that to say this:

Hebrews 6:4-6 does not worry me at all. My relationship with Jesus Christ can never be broken. My fellowship with Him can be broken but never my relationship. A true believer, a person who is born of God's Spirit, cannot commit apostasy.

What I see in those three verses is the writer talking to those in group 1 and explaining to them the outcome of those in group 2 if they should walk away.

Now those in the 3rd group were non-believers who were following along but were never going to believe. They were probably there to watch and accuse those in group 2 who decided to identify with those in group 1 which would in turn cause them to be persecuted.

So what I see in Hebrews 6:4-6 is a group of people (Hebrew people) who were faced with a decision. Do I leave Judaism and receive Christ as my Savior. Or, do I walk away and go back into Judaism because of what it would cost me to surrender my life to Christ. For a Jewish person, this was a very difficult decision.

What the writer is saying is that after they have come to a full understanding of salvation through Christ, if they do not take the next step in turning from Judaism and surrendering their life to Him, but instead walk away because of what it would cost them, it is impossible for them to find salvation any other way.

If we were to put ourselves in the same position that these Jews were faced with, which of these three groups would we identify ourselves with?

This John 17 : 5 is telling us that Christ is gonna be Glorfied and he says his Glorfication is the very Glorification of God the Father . Glorify thou me with thine own self, Even with the Glory I had with you before the world was, Remember he died for the whole world. and the script. says the H.G. is the Glorfication of Christ simply b/c the H.G. was not yet given b/c that Christ was not yet Glorfied thus the multiplication of Christ is the multiplication of very God, Thats y he says to whom the word came ( his seed the living word ) it made them Gods . And that is y the scripture is saying the very Father swore by his very self when he made that PROMISE OF MULTIPLICATION OF Christ, when the sower of that Good Seed ( when the book is opened that is when the sower will go forth to sow his seed thus the H.G. will be given , thats y the woman is given Birth which is the H.G. A SPRITUAL CHILD, That which is born of the spirit is spirit as God is spirit thus he will Glorfy/Multiply the Father ,as the H.G. is the Glorfication of God the FATHER. His prayer was Glorify thou me with thine own self etc and the womans child is another Father a baby God ,to whom the Word came it made them Gods . Thats ye he was praying GLORIFY me that I might Glorify you . See his multiplication VIA HIS SEED is the multiplication of VERY GOD IN US. Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a little Child this implies a heavenly birth of Christ in US. The Father said i have Gloried it and i will Glory it again, there has been an intermission of 2 k yrs. 2 DAYS. It was glorIfied a bit at Pentecost but they ran outta of that 1 st wine the H.G. wine and we will receive that 2 nd wine on the 3 rd day the day of the marriage .At the wedding they received the best Wine the 3 rd day., Ya remember the wedding CHIEF said You have kept the best Wine for last. As Paul said when that which is perfect is come that which is done in part will be done away with.

    (Part 1)

    Lex,

I'll have to respond in a couple of posts. I believe this is important as some use this section of scripture to show that our salvation can be lost.

When I approach any book of the bible, I first have to understand who the book was written to and why it was written. Hebrews was written to the Hebrews, Jewish people. The letter was written to Hebrew Christians. But at the same time, as I go through the book, I see three different classes of people. So I have to understand it from a Jewish standpoint.

The Purpose of the Letter was to warn against apostasy during persecution. It's when believers suffer that believers consider to stop following Christ, or consider compromising in their walk with the Lord when things get tough. Now when I say believer, I also think this can be broken down into two classes, those who are saved, and those who are unsaved.

Now in order for me to understand the various passages and the various sections of Hebrews, I have to understand these three groups to whom it was written.

    1) To Hebrew believers. (Saved believers)

    2) To Hebrews who have an intellectual understanding of Christ but have not been saved, and they are considering going back to the religious system of Judaism because of the persecution for identifying with Hebrew believers. So these are Hebrews who understand what's being taught, and they intellectually agree with it, but they have never received Christ.

Chapter 10 tells us that after they identified with the Hebrew believers and they went home, their possessions were stolen. Their fellow Jews were kicking them out of the temples. And it would cause some of them to lose their jobs. Their friends would disown them.

So you can imagine a Jewish person, right at that place where they understand and they agree with it, but they haven't received Christ. But they have this persecution going on and they say "If I go all the way with this thing, this is what's going to happen. Everybody is going to disown me.

I was raised in the Catholic church up until I was 27 years old. I then left the Catholic faith because I felt I didn't know God or the Lord Jesus in a way that I grew up hearing and listening about. It seemed the word of God was kept from us Catholics except for a couple of small scriptures and a twenty minute sermon I couldn't ever understand because the priests are from other areas of the world and have very broken English. I felt God was this like this supreme far away person spirit and I didn't really know him. I found a little steeple church by a distant relative and accepted Jesus as my savior and baptized in a river one day in a Christian camping adventure. When you teach about the Sabbath in these verses in Isaiah, it is a day to me that I've not taken the way God has commanded us to. I'm confused about the day of the week it falls on. And there's not one church that says it's on Saturday but uses Sunday as that holy day to God. It's like a big secret. The Catholic religion did not teach me the words of God, it showed me more that God exists and we did the same prayers and praises over and over again. Nothing was different. I hardly knew God' in a personal way nor his words in the bible what they truly say and mean. Now I have grown to know God and our Lord Jesus and how they both have guided me how to live and love others. What day is the Lord's day? I heard it Saturday. I just can't dedicate a day myself. I hope and pray to make it holy for God.

We in the church are hurt and disappointed when one of God children whom we have had Godly fellowship with is caught publicly in open sin. It is hard for us to forgive them but we must in order to keep Satan from getting the foot hold in the church.

Please pray for the Lord's wonderful presence, hope, love, grace, mercy, help, blessing, favor, anointing, rescue and deliverance, complete healing (even His supernatural/miraculous quick physical healing and pain/anxiety relief), full-household salvation, peace, comfort, provision, promotions, success, safety and protection, and all that's good from God above for: all my children and grandson and me, my family, Israel, and Jerusalem, all the Lord's ministries our homes, cars, jobs, worldwide as the Lord wills. Please pray that the Lord would forgive us, deliver us all from all evil and the evil one, grant to us our prayers according to His will, and grant us entrance into His Heavenly Kingdom forever in Jesus Name.

Mary, I am praying for you Sister. God is faithful to deliver. The battle is not ours

but the LORD's. Be at peace..... I have gone through this too. One thing I have

done during the worst attacks is to say over and over, "JESUS SAVES ME NOW."

It is a powerful declaration. Devils flee in all directions, and God is glorified.

    Many Blessings....

Hi Lex , i hope you dont mind me butting in , in my experience it has taken me only a few years of reading the Bible every day to understand and believe that i understand the basics of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God ,after that there is so much treasure in there that re affirms the Truth and helps you to feel closer to God and His Son ,read and pray and read some more ,its a big book and unlike most books theres no irrelevant filler ,everything is important ,you may not see things clearly immediately but a big part of the joy is discovering something new even though you have been reading it for over 25 years ,it still happens to me and im sooo happy when it does ,be patient and enjoy .Sorry for sticking my nose in but icant help myself sometimes ,thats what the Bible does ,it makes you want to talk about it and share your joy in it .
