Being saved does not mean we will not sin. 1John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

Sin falls into different categories.

1. Unintentional sins where we don't mean to sin, as in uttering a curse word.

2. Deliberate sins where we willingly do something we know is a sin, such as stealing, committing adultery, and so on.

3. Sin of Omission where we know to do something and refuse to do it. For instance, refusing to help someone in need.

When we sin, we must confess that sin and ask Jesus to forgive us of that, and he will! 1John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

The meeting comes a day after Jordan sent an official complaint to Israel for allowing Jews onto the Temple Mount.

King Abdullah of Jordan was set to meet with US President Joe Biden on Monday, the day after his government complained about Israel allowing Jews onto the Temple Mount and minor clashes between Muslims and Israeli police at the holy site.

What convinced you? The Samaritan woman at the well took off to her town, yelling "Come See A Man who told me all the words of my life".

The Bible wasn't written yet. The Disciples were testifying what they had learned, experienced first hand.

After the Day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came to indwell their born again spirits, they had POWER!

Religious Spirits are opposed to Jesus that is inside of us. Go search on that. The Pharisees were full of it. We need to understand what that spirit looks like.

We need to discern who we are teaching? Lambs or Sheep? Milk, Bread or Meat. Jesus wants to reach these people. Bring them into the Kingdom. Evangelize them. GOD weigheth the spirits in balances. Your thinking and argument is from a human perspective, not from God's perspective. He that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from above is above all, and what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth- John 3:v.31-32 .

Before or face the Word of GOD, the source you suggest for me to search is straw, it is insignificant, the witness of GOD is greater, understand? For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these three are One.

I went to the Jerusalem Post Site for yesterday's news & it's main news seems to be on the new Israeli PM Bennett's authorization for Jews to visit the Temple Mount on Sunday, their fasting day for Tisha Be'av. Don't know if you were referring to that or the on-going behind the scenes plans for the actual re-building, which of course will face continued backlash, from both the Muslims & the World.

As far as Pres. Biden's position, which wouldn't be correct for me to comment on as a non-American, from what we observe of him & American politics in general, one can assume a very neutral position, seeking peace in the region whatever the cost, maintaining the status quo. Whatever any country would intend to say or do, the Lord's Will must be done, with the focus on Israel, whether she come to her senses & accepts Christ or face His Wrath when that time comes.

What was interesting in my readings about the general motivation of the Jews, most appear disinterested whether the Temple Mount is acquired or not - the main thrust for it being put out by the Orthodox Jews, & therefore their rousing of others to their biblical understanding. How their zeal will affect the Israeli government & the populace is debatable.

Michael M What translators endeavor to do is to get the correct meaning I.E. what God meant when Holy men of God were moved by Holy Spirit. Even the K.J.V. which I consider an excellent translation is not without flaws none which are mans. So the new KJV is no exception. Prayerfully this answers your question.

Gertrude , I am glad you are not sad and I'm glad to read a good long post from you , I am extremely happy despite all the troubles in the world , I'm sure that my happiness is all down to my saviour and the signs I can see and the growing tingling excitement in me , I've been reading the Bible for a long time now , decades in fact , and each time I read I see something new or I connect the dots a little bit more but I have to say in the last year or so the pieces have been falling into place like never before for me , things that have previously perplexed me now seem so clear and I some times feel like a bit of a dummy for not seeing these things on one of the other previous times I have read them , something is going on in the u.k. ,tomorrow , Monday 19th , almost all restrictions are being lifted and it's being hailed as freedom Day , this as we are over 50 thousand new cases a day for over a week now , we are being told to get vaccinated and take responsibility for ourselves ,basically we are being told to just get on with our lives and if you get ill you get ill , I think the whole of Europe is watching us as if we were lab rats and they are waiting to see the result of this experiment called the u.k. Michael M , hello , one of the first Bibles I read was a NKJ , as soon as I got an AV KJV I never looked at any other version , as far as I can remember the NKJ removes most if not all of the olde English , such as the wherefores and therefores etc and replaces some of the olde English with more modern words , I understand that it may take a while to get used to the olde style of the AV KJV but it's really not hard and you would soon get used to it , each to their own though , you must choose for yourself. In Norman Geisler's book When Critics Ask he says that in 1 Maccabees 9:27 it disclaims inspiration. In my readings I find nothing to support this. Can you give some clarity on this? Thank you. Joe Sacks
