    Glenn,

Do you know who the people of 1 Thessalonians 4:17 are? Is it only the saints, or the saints + Christians.

What's the difference between the 1st fruits and 2nd resurrections?

This topic needs to be better understood.

    Derek,

My point is, anyone can identify the problem, complain about it, yet nothing will prevent or put off what is to come our way. It's easy enough to tell what is wrong, but hat's not what I want to hear all night long. How about offering up something revolutionary, like hope?

Fred that just is a perfect example of how blinded and twisted the religious leaders at that time were. Thank God he called out Paul because he knew his heart was in the right place. Paul in his heart and mind totally believed he was dead right, in what he was doing before being born again. Again we can be thankful God new his heart and he needed a little convincing, sort of like us a times. God Bless

Amen and Amen, Brother Jesse: Flesh (satan) is the adversary of God.
  • Mishael - In Reply - 4 years ago
Well spoken. I think we are mostly in agreement. May we speak through the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Peaceably. I keep that scripture posted on the cabinet above the coffeemaker, so at least twice a day I am reading it and contemplating what my state of mind (mood) is.

Those who LOVE MUCH, LOVE JESUS, and careth for the Sheep; let's try to understand each other.

Say a prayer for each other.

We are all on Satan's radar and GPS. Ok? I'd rather get hauled up at the Bema Seat for praying too much and giving homemade sandwiches to the homeless...and being asked if I used Mayo or miracle whip :/

Fred God Bless I believe that Paul is one of the greatest examples of God knowing a mans heart, paul as he states in the epistles was born out of due time. He was a pharisee of pharisees and in his heart before he was converted until jesus appeared to him I don't care who else would have said what if you didn't do the law you deserved to die. Thank Jesus for appearing like he did and like you said he did not converse with flesh and blood but spent time alone with jesus Christ to get it together spiritually and screw his own head down. I cannot comprehend the shock mentally Something I've often thought about how many believers after conversion that he taught the word to that he helped murder family members because he did it out of ignorance because he didn't believe. I'll bet because he understood the deliverance from past sins he taught with all boldness no guilt. What a man of God.

    Garnet,

Jesus said if any man will come after me, and that is the word behind. And here is the decision-making process. When somebody surrenders to Jesus Christ, they are surrendering to come behind Him. Every single person has a calling to come behind Jesus. That's it!

If any man will come behind me, and there are three things, or principles I would like to share with you.

Principle number 1: Let him deny himself.

Now the word deny, ARNEOMAI, means to reject. This is what it means in the Greek. But first I'll tell you what it doesn't mean.

It doesn't mean that you are to deny yourself an ice cream cone after church or after bible study. It means to reject yourself, period!

The next phrase says, "and take up his cross." And some think that means whatever hardships I go through today. But that's not what it means.

You see, according to Romans Chapter 6, when Jesus died on the cross, He died my death. Therefore I have died, and every day my flesh is nailed to the cross and I'm to carry that cross.

And thirdly He says "follow me." Do you see what He's saying here?

He is saying "Follow me," meaning that the position is behind Him.

A good text would be Galatians 2:20, where Paul says I have been crucified in Christ, and the life that I now live, he says I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.

You see, he has died. I don't live any more. I don't do what I want to do because I don't live, I died. Paul says I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. And the life that I now live, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.

He just said it all in one verse. Reject yourself!

I have had a conviction for a long time that our struggle every day in life is more against God than it is against Satan. Why? Because our flesh is continually trying to get down off that cross, and trying to get away from the struggles of life.

Different people come in here at different times. It's all free to whosoever will. Myself, I may be deep studying for days. I get inside my closet, under the clothes and pray, some days. Once I found out what a blessing it is to be shut up with the Holy Spirit; you couldn't get me out of there.

I'm a career single, so I can be attentive to the Lords time. I made that choice and I'm happy with it. If that makes me weird, so be it. I guess I kinda know how John (the Baptist) felt. I don't eat grasshoppers but I do fast regularly. It's because I'm busy, involved in what the Lord is doing.

Not everyone is retired as I am. They're working jobs, got children and grandchildren; lawns to mow, honey-do's, to do.

The only thing I have trouble doing, is spending time in front of the TV. If I do, I pray that He will help me see the stories He wants me to see.

I come in here to answer questions. Your questions and concerns fill my prayer time every day. It is my pleasure to try and be helpful.

All our teachers, preachers, prophetically gifted, pastors who are gifted to care for sheep and carry the lambs in prayer, are ALL NEEDED. WE ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST :)

His eyes, ears, hands, feet to carry the Gospel, knees to bend in Prayer; and so much more.

We need every member doing what The Holy Spirit has carefully gifted us for. God bless all those that give of their wealth to the poor. By wealth, that can mean many things.

The one thing I'm sure of is that if we get puffed up over our greatness, that the Holy Spirit will let us know. That's how we know we are Beloved Children of God.

We are only as great as our Praise and Worship TO GOD is. It frees us in the spirit. It's not a chore. It's a privilege.

Psalm 136 is a song of worship and praise to show us how. I modify it sometimes to fit my own life and times when I knew God was helping me. We need to remember the past, present and future.

Let's love people like Jesus did, does.

Wouldn't you think, that the apostles and followers would have never ever excepted what the synagogue taught, since they have just subscribed and killed Christ along with many brothers and sisters. This law was not the law of Moses, for if it were how could they have killed anyone? How could the Jews or the apostles continue in such nonsense, let alone give their interpretation of it , any credence at all?

Describing justification through faith without the deeds of the law should have been most obvious. Peter, hadn't made up his mind. Even after everything that had happened, he couldn't make up His mind, or more ,He couldn't separate himself from the self righteous Jews! Thank God , Jesus called the Apostle Paul. even though he was not one of the disciples ,Jesus in this time converted Him for this his mission the saving of the world from sin and death! The commission of bringing the gospel too the world! Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world! Jews and Gentiles! This is why he came!

    Camilo,

In Luke 3:27, it says that wheat will be gathered into his garner. The garner would be the same thing as the threshing floor. What they would do is they would gather the crops in and they would grind it on the threshing floor, and the grain would separate from the chaff, and then they would take a shovel, a winnowing fork, a winnowing fan, and they throw it up in the air. And the grain would only travel a certain distance but the chaff would blow even further away.

By the time you got through with this process you got two piles. One goes into the barn, and the other one you burn. He is saying that's the way it is with Jesus, either you are going to get baptized with His spirit, because that's the name of His ministry. He will either baptize you with the Holy Spirit, or the fire of judgment. There are only two kinds of people, and only two ways to go. So the threshing floor was used to separate the wheat from the chaff.

    Daniels Prayer, Chapter 9

7 O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, AS AT THIS DAY; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are FAR OFF, THROUGH ALL THE COUNTRIES, whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.

8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.

    9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;

10 Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.

11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by DEPARTING, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.

12 And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.

13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.

14 Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.

It is entirely possible that the Jews have shed their tears on the wrong wall. But even so, God has surely heard the HEART OF THOSE PRAYERS.

Again I say that the Lord TOLD US to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. It wasn't a suggestion.

We are Gentiles GRAFTED INTO A JEWISH TREE.

Have you ever studied how to graft trees or plants?

Google that. The Tree is known by its Roots.

    Enlightening.

Paul, before his conversion, thought he really had it all together, a Pharisee of the Pharisee's. So certain of his righteousness going about to kill those who didn't agree with the church. Studied under great philosophers such as Gamaliel. Jewish doctors of the law. Educated men, going about to kill Christ followers, after all they did kill Christ!

Paul converted on the road to Damascus, on his way for more of these so called followers!

I have a question? If you would be a true follower of the law, as those in the Sanhedrin, how then could you go about killing people? What would be the justification or premise, their bases for their belief? Perhaps it was, as it is written, a law unto themselves. What is interesting is that this had such an effect upon this man, perhaps with the underlying quilt that went along with it. That He was the one chosen for this event, the beginning of the church. His background , his history sent him into the desert for 14 years, enough time for many to forget Him! With all the evidence he had ,He knew that this calling was from above! So, he speaks with authority, from the heart, even taking on Caesar! what do think? Is this how God calls?

I don't have my notes around me now.

I remember reading that Russia will be against Israel completely. God will wipe them off the face of the earth. They meddle in everything Israel does or tries to do, concerning the Land. Right now, Russia is on fire. They have earthquakes almost every day. China is making trade agreements with everyone they can. Despite the needs of their own country, they are actively trying to buy up the whole world. Again, they too are being warned with great natural disasters. They spared no expense to put on the Olympics.

These may seem insignificant, but I believe God is warning the Christians in those lands.

The Bible says of ISHMAEL, that He is bullheaded and does not recognize Israel as a son of Abraham. Such is his insanity, he cannot be satisfied with the blessing God gave to him.

TURKEY and that region is totally decimating anything Christians made; in the background. To hide their acts, they allow Christians there to have church in their homes. As soon as the USA pulls out the troops, that will change.

Israel is building a pipeline (google that) for water that they need for all those who are returning from where they hid after WW1. They hid by pretending to be Catholic. This present Pope will be an actor in the final days.

Also, the aforementioned nations want to build their pipelines to move oil. National news downplays these sneaky going on's. Something else that bears a mention alongside Book of Daniel. Palestinian children are raised to be the FAITH of their FATHERS. Israeli mother's raise their children Jewish/Israeli. That's the way it was always done. A certain retired American president has written books about His Father. The father,Palestinian by birth. His son's religion must be Palestinian. A fact national news avoided completely. He will be an actor in these last days. Read Book of Daniel carefully.

Why does this matter? America is a melting hot pot, of many religions; mostly gentile.

Deadly wound? Surely you don't compare Russia with the beast of the sea? Mikhail Gorbachev the beast? That's a bit of a stretch. I tend to believe the Antichrist will be a living entity not a country. He will be assassinated and resurrected which means he's not human. If you wanted or insisted that a country would be such a thing, then it would be the US. We are receiving that deadly wound right now as we speak. And it is a kill shot. But, somehow we might rise again if it's God's will.

Donald, if you didn't like my comment why did you reply to it? You then said 'we dont need to hear it again'- who is the 'we' you are referring to and does your opinion somehow represent everyone on this website? With hundreds of thousands now dead from the experimental covid vaccine and many vaccinated even more vulnerable to sickness and death, do you think we should stay silent and accept all injustices like this without question? What if one person sees a comment like this and it saves someones life or some realizes the end times are near and decides to accept Jesus, is that not worthwhile?

You assumed the 'force' is meant to be and that nothing can be done about it. How is that any different than telling people during nazi German occupation to do nothing that the death camps are 'meant to be'?

The Bible warns us of the end times and the antiChrist and says to be aware for a reason, does it not? The Bible says to keep our armor of God on, etc, does it not? Paul said we're running a race and run to get the prize. If Christians are to be 100% passive and inactive then why would the Bible say all of these things involving action?
