verse 5 8 Isaiah recognised that he is unclean to meet God.He was forgiven when he confess this and the grace of God came upon him and immediately God spoke with him. Lessons we should ask God for forgiveness no matter our sins for he came because of the sinners.
  • Sindile on Isaiah 6:8 - 10 years ago

If the Blood from Calvary altar will touch our lips, all sins are taken away and after this great work we can hear the words from the Heaven.
  • Whitless on Isaiah 6 - 11 years ago
forsaken is from a word that is used once by the Author. In Thess, the equivalent is falling away apostasy. That is the rapture, a hidden mystery in Isaiah 's time but revealed in this dispensation of grace. Study the word apostasy, it is a departure but not from Godliness as is taught, it is the fulcrum event of the end of this dispensation. Now, go read Isaiah chapter 6 again.
  • Harry Collins on Isaiah 6 - 11 years ago
The God we serve is a God who knows the best right time to execute his plans purposes. He revealed himself to Isaiah at the appropriate time i.e after king Uzziah s death to equip him for the task of going to give his massage to his people.
  • Allan on Isaiah 6:1 - 11 years ago
Isaiah 6 1 needs to be read together with 2 Chronicles 26. Uzziah was probably the most successful King of Judah, since Solomon. His death and fall from grace would necessarily be a notable part of Judah 's history. It therefore becomes a useful point of reference for Isaiah as he speaks of his vision of the Lord. Note "in the year that King Uzziah died ", NOT on the day. In the past, references were linked to major events like earthquakes, storms, famines, plagues etc. and so the year of Uzziah 's death is one such reference.

I believe it is a powerful testimony to
all Believers to as mentioned in Rev. 21:7
    prayerfully overcome weaknesses, corruption
and dishonor that easily besets us,
because as in King Uzziah's part of the sad story,
it confirms scripture, "flesh and blood
    will not inherit eternal life."
  • Pastor Ken on Isaiah 6:1 - 11 years ago
WHO Was Uzziah? the death of Uzziah (His pride and assumption)brought Change and Transformation to Isaiah into a higher Calling. If we can give up most of the things we are depending on,clean our heart and spirit we shall see God.

Isaiah chapter 6 verse 6 makes me wary of the "white" lies I had to make just to get my job done...it hurts to think about choosing between telling the truth versus "white" lying just to be able to help someone who is mentally challenged...
  • Benjamin on Isaiah 6 - 11 years ago
Keeping track of things that do not glorify God prevent us from seeing what God want to show us. God sometimes will have to remove that which is preventing you from seeing God in other to see Him.
No unrighteousness is above forgiveness. It is what is to come that all will come to repentance just by letting go the past and upholding the new life God is giving you. A life full of righteousness and obedient to God so that all that He had said in your life will come to past.
  • Zeblone Mavunda on Isaiah 6:1 - 11 years ago
Isaiah 6:1 means that, even in the very darkest time in your life God can reveal Himself to you.
  • Nakeisha on Isaiah 6:2 - 11 years ago
this is one of my most imaginative favorite versus in the bible
  • Ronald Burkley on Isaiah 6:1 - 11 years ago
I think it is a wonderful testimony in it's self because we a Christian become so distracted by people and things. Isaiah was looking at King Uzziah that he could not see the Lord. SO typical of us modern Christian.
  • Linda on Isaiah 6:10 - 11 years ago
THIS IS WHERE THE FUTURE OF JESUS WAS PREDICTED ,This Chapter Is Awesome Because Isaiah Knew He Was Unworthy Which Makes Him Humble He Gets Purged Bu The High Ranking Angel And Hears The Lord Say Who Will Help Us ,Isaiah Says Me And He Hears A mESSAGE hE dID nOT uNDERSTAND bECAUSE iT dID nOT hAPPEN yET , Plus The People ARE cALLED sTUPID aND senseless-- Plus Here WE CAN SEE Clearly That God Had A PPROPHET inflict the MESSAGE AND Judgement On The People
By Way Of The Ministry AND WE IN THIS 20TH CENTURY sHOULD UNDERSTAND WHAT iSAIAH DID NOT YET UNDERSTAND BECAUSE JESUS WAS NOT YET BORN BY THE VIRGIN YET BUT OUR GENERATION OF REPPPRESENATIVES SHOULD CLEARLY SEE THE BEAUTY OF ADVANCED YEARS OG TRUE PREDICTIONS XOXOX
  • Pastor Simon Mudada on Isaiah 6 - 12 years ago
It takes God's purging fire for us to hear the voice of his calling to missions. Many people do not want to hear this voice, as they know what it means. Because they do not want to be exposed of hidden sins in their lives.
  • Tshepiso on Isaiah 6 - 12 years ago
God removes other people from your life, because it’s time for him to show his glory, which means other things have to die for God to present himself.
  • Insight 777 on Isaiah 6 - 12 years ago
A coal is something that starts a fire. A command to fire upon a target is a "coal". Seraphim mean "burners". Missiles fired from fighter jets burn their targets. Fighter jets are "burners".
  • Insight 777 on Isaiah 6 - 12 years ago
Correction... the F-16 has only 5 wings but many other jets such as the F-15E, the F35, the Sukhoi Su-35 and the J-31 CHICOM Stealth Fighter all have 6 wings.
  • Insight 777 on Isaiah 6 - 12 years ago
2, Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. Seraphims are fighter jets that have 6 wings like the F-22, the F-16, and others like the Chinese J-20. Twain is technology = in the helmets and jets such as the "DAS" system and the technology it takes to create and fly fighter jets.

Charter 6:1-8 there are some things that need to die for some new things to be revealed or known.
  • Anonymous on Isaiah 6 - 12 years ago
I WANT TO TAKE THIS CHAPTER PERSONAL,REALLY I WANT MY SINS TOO BE WASHED WITH THE BLOOD OF JESUS SO I CAN BE USED FULLY BY HIM WITHOUT MY CONSCIENCE BOTHERING ME AND HOLY SPIRIT STANDING OUT OF THE WAY.
