Dabie Abraham RABBI's comment about verse 22 on 6/14/2015, 11:46pm...

I believe the sentence in gen.3:22 was not complete as we can see, so I just want to know what would ve been the next words of God. beloved, it was satan who mistakenly caused Adam and Eve be like God, gen.3:22 ,which was not suppose to be so. see the devil can make you assume a position or perform something that seems great in your eyes but God ll not accept that, let us watch our lives well the devil is wise :there is a way that seem right to you but at the end ...... God richly bless you

Steve Walton's comment on 6/13/2015, 4:16am...

Just have to comment on what an EXCELLENT explanation Ms. Kimberly Adams provided in translating the meaning of this verse, as well as her correlating it to the New Testament. Many people misinterpret this scripture, not realizing it 's the Bible 's first indication of the coming of our Savior.

Kimberly Adams's comment about verse 15 on 5/27/2015, 7:46am...

Genesis 3:15 "And I will put enmity animosity between you and the woman presents the Lord speaking to Satan, who had used the serpent in effect, the Lord is saying to Satan, "You used the woman to bring down the human race, and I will use the woman as an instrument to bring the Redeemer into the world, Who will save the human race " , and between your seed mankind which follows Satan and her Seed the Lord Jesus Christ it Christ shall bruise your head the Victory that Jesus won at the Cross Col 2:14-15 , and you shall bruise His Heel the sufferings of the Cross .

Verdell L Jones's comment about verse 16 on 5/21/2015, 12:53pm...

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Most people automatically think that Eve experienced her pain from childbearubg. Unfortunately, labor pains was the least of Eve 's worries. Her sorrow was being removed from the garden of Eden and being separated from her father. God also, told Eve he was going to multipy her conception having many children . In sorrow you will bring forth children... I think this is where everyone has the misconception of labor pains... Because of her disobedience Eve lost rwo sons.... one a murderer Cain and the other his victim Abel which he became a fugitive. Can you imagine Eve having to live with the decision she made. Athough Eve had other children she realize she made a terrible mistake and she had to live with it. When God told Eve her desire will be with the husband and he shall rule over you.... When God created Eve... he created her as he help meet. A woman place in a marriage is for her to help her husband meet the expectation God have of him. God was simply telling Eve her place in her marriage....

NOEL-GEN's comment on 5/10/2015, 4:43am...

Jojo Joseph, I read your posted comment, and I half to admit you really get into the meat of the subject, and a lot of fine scripture references, myself I hesitate to go to the extent of thinking that I know the mind of God or his intentions, that to me is traversing deep waters. Myself I believe its clear, according to scripture, the reason for Adam and Eves being banished from Eden, because it is clearly stated, to bar the way of the tree of life. But that is just my opinion. I hope the Lord does open your mind to more meaningful knowledge, like what are your thoughts on the Sabbath of the seventh day? Gen 3-5-9-15,

Jojo Joseph's comment about verse 24 on 5/07/2015, 10:55am...

The intention of God in driving out Adam from Eden can be thought of in human terms like this: He has outgrown the state of childhood innocence, has tasted freewill, has succumbed to temptations and engaged in forbidden or unrighteous acts. The sense of conscience knowing good and evil has been activated in him now. Let him earn and regain eternal life Eat the fruits of the Tree of Life or attain communion with God through a learning process, metanoia or spiritual transformation by consciously and fervently seeking God and engaging in spiritual sacrifices as Jesus would teach and demonstrate later . Eden represents the Jerusalem temple and also the churches which constitute the body of Christ. In the messianic age it also represents our body. We are supposed to pierce the veil of spiritual ignorance within us and enter the Holy of Holies to attain transcendental communion with God. This is equivalent to overcoming the flaming sword and entering the Eden garden, to eat from the Tree of Life Rev 2:7, 22:14,19 . Human bodies are symbolized as temples of God in the epistles 1 Cor 3:17 1 Cor 6:19 2 Cor 6:16 . Jesus compared his body also to the Jewish temple John 2:19 , where the outer sanctuary represents our physical-self and the inner sanctuary Holy of Holies represents the spiritual-self. The physical-self and spiritual-self are separated by the veil of imperfections and spiritual ignorance. The contrast between the carnal self and the spiritual self is well explained by St. Paul in the epistles Rom 7:21-23 Gal 5:16-18 Rom 8: 4-13 . The instincts that we have inherited from our ancestors starting from Adam and the passions that we have developed during the course of our life in this world are ingrained deeply in our genes and they influence our physical-self to take precedence over our spiritual-self in controlling our thoughts and actions. We remain sons daughters of the world when we are dictated by our physical-self or the molecules in our brain, but metaphorically we become sons daughters of light, when we are guided by the Holy Spirit who dwells within the temple of our bodies. The choice is ours. We can experientially feel the presence of God within our inner sanctuary, and be guided by Him, only when we inscribe the law of the Spirit within the ark of our heart and tear away the veil of imperfections and ignorance that separates our physical-self from our spiritual-Self. Remember the Lord s words, The Kingdom of God is within you Luke 17:21 . The physical-self offers temptations and resistance to the promptings of inner Spirit. The methodology to tame or discipline the physical-self is also expounded in the epistles. They advise us to control and direct our carnal-self towards holiness by restraining the senses, and this act is compared to the manner in which we control a horse by putting bits into their mouths bit is a component of the harness used for horses or a captain controls a huge ship by restraining the small rudder James 3: 2-12 1 Cor 9:24-27 James 1: 26-27 1 Cor 9:27 1 Thess 4:4 Heb 12:4-11 Titus 2:12 1 Pet 2:11 . Grace accompanies the fervent efforts of all seekers of God until they get filled with the wisdom of God, and attain communion with God, which was once taken away from Adam.

question: we 've had a discussion and there are two trees mentioned in this chapter. Where was the tree of life? Was it hidden? God said that they would die aspirtiual death if eating of the tree of knowledge. So where was the tree of life? And what is it?

RNM 3-4-21 GEN's comment on 4/22/2015, 4:37am...

GEN 3-4-21...I Corinthians 2:14- But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Ray Oruand, in Romans 1:22- Professing themselves to be wise they became fools. You and I both know their has been more intelligent people than either you or I that has rejected, denied, questioned the word of God, and have been proven wrong. It sounds to me that you have a beef with God. Or is it this church age you 've lost all confidence in, because if that 's it I agree totally. But their is an answer for it, if you want to reply. God help us all to understand PRAISE GOD AND HIS HOLY SON YESHUA. AMEN!!

MRN 3-4-21-GEN's comment on 4/21/2015, 5:53am...

GEN 3-4-21...Hello senyor Ray Oruand, your words are a stroke of igneous, and very perstusive, you remind me of somebody, I cant put my finger on him but everyone knows it, I think you know, your insight is infabulously illunimatetory especially your magnetizing grip of history. You hold in your hand the knowledge of a thousand lifetimes, and yet brush off the lofty inpertinence you so often perceive is due. After which hundreds no, possibly many if not more thousands who have a credaceous background in a similitude of inquireous facts have become inconvinceable of a totally erroneous negative outcomes of made up as we go delaneotory similitudes to be somewhat similar in some cases, which I hope I will be not going to fast for the historians in you, in your all knowing all seeing similitude of reason. I concede my point with an all but mighty passion and hopefully you understand my stand on the subject. I have by self made abilities at points in time thoughts en conjections has relatively read to my personal amblimic socersal wave of influences have negated a belief that is austericaly numericaless in its entirety despite others arguments to the contrary. It is conceived entirely through a spontenous collision of alienism meeting evolutionaryianism in the broadess of senses. which I know you have a paternal clearity of. I hoped this has helped in some obscured but benevolent fashion. Maybe somday in a mor somber past well get together an be able to exchange notes or keyes that inundulate into a viberous tones, filling in the blancs of time immemorial.

Ray Oruand's comment on 4/18/2015, 8:33pm...

" And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: " I am fairly sure that this is an accurate translation. The 'us ' refers to the Elohim, in Babylonian and in Sumerian from which the original Genesis comes , the children of the God Father or the other Gods. The 'sin ' of Eve is that she sought sustenance in the form of knowledge poor Adam seemed satisfied, both with his ignorance and with pushing blame onto Eve. The real 'sin ', however, was avoided with the couple being driven from Eden. That sin would have been eternal life, a crime against the nature of mortals. These stories are neither inspired by nor are they the word of God. They are tales, borrowed by various peoples of Mesopotamia, then transmitted along the trade routes of the Fertile Crescent into the region of Palestine where Semitic tribes had settled. I find the significance to be that human knowledge our culture, our language, our morality is transmitted by the mother to her children. Our ability to manage everyday experiences hunting, farming, animal husbandry, etc. is what the father brings to the table.

David P.'s comment about verse 4 on 3/29/2015, 12:00pm...

Notice that the snake tells her, "YOU will not die. " His deception is to make her believe that there is no structure of authority...something that the "gods " angels have discovered. Or, really, something the snake has discovered and immersed the rest of the angels into.
