Amen, I too share your story with the exception of age. I am 59 and going back to the Lord and his word!!

My faith has been battered torn apart and dissected over my last 53 years. I have done bad things and have questioned my faith from my early years. But lately world events and the movement of evil forces beyond "our control" has led me back to the bible. Starting from scratch I just read the first part of Genesis Gods words not mine . What a wonder Father we have ,He gives us the opportunity of repentance ,he gives us signs and human teachers to teach us and guide us ,but if the people do not heed his words there will be lamentations .He our Father gives his children many chances to come to His Kingdom, MANY will follow ,but many will not,He is a fair God Amen

Wow. Verse 24 you find where a man repents as many have; like Jeremiah and Job ,of being a man. Of being a frail, falty, sinful, weak human. O WRETCHED MAN THAT I AM!!!! He(God) did that which I could not!!! He overcame flesh!!!! And thereby conquering death. Regardless of how perfect, I repent of being a unperfect human!!!! Full of failure. Wretched. God is so good!!!!

I , we are expecting something all the time : I should allow my expectation be in God : My soul : my mind : wait thou on God : I will wait and expect to receive what God has for me : When I get what He has for me : I will act on it. To be strong in the Lord is to be strong in His word : It is the word of God that defeats the enemy in my life : God upholds all things by the word of His power not by the power of His word : even so , by me speaking , believing His word that what I say shall come to pass , I will have what I say and believe : The enemy cannot stand in the power of God or the Blood of Jesus Christ : Remember our enemy the devil was defeated when Jesus went to the cross , was buried and rose again : Our enemy is already defeated and we are fighting a defeated enemy that has no power unless I , we give it to him . If we keep our eyes on Jesus Christ., read the Word, meditate on the Word, be obedient to the Word, we would be strengthen through storms. We would never hunger or thirst. I thank God the Holy Spirit guided you to write from the verse " Nothing can thwart His hand or His Will" as I am going through a very painful season in my life due to what I believe was my disobedience ( Job 33:27) when I was surprised by sin in 2003. Giving God the praises should be our focus at all times, for He is our only salvation, the creator of all the earth, and the things in it.

I think Psalms 18 is a powerful chapter
It says that a people whom I have not known shall serve me as soon as they hear of me they shall obey me, this is powerful . God will allow our enemies to obey us , because he has given me the necks of my enemies that I will be able to destroy them that hate me. We serve a mighty God, great and powerful.

I love the 23rd. Psalm, a Psalm of David. This is what I want and need in my life always, his love, mercy and comfort. Praise GOD always.

I cannot even begin to count the hairs of my head , let alone those ones that fall out every day !!!!! Just goes to tell and show us how Great and Good is our God and Greatly to be feared. He knows more about me than I do : From time to time He even lets me in on how and what I am doing !!! My Lord God , Father , and Jesus Christ is totally AWESOME !!!

I thank God for being my Protector,and teaching me how to live for Him and allowing me time on this earth to get the work He has assign to my hands to get it done.

In this, my favorite verse of the Bible, Christ promises us that we will experience ("ye shall have"), hardship in this life, but He also assures us that we are not to be downhearted about this ("but be of good cheer"), because He has already destroyed ("I have overcome") all hardship ("the world" - i.e. the home of tribulation). What greater assurance can there be in this life, than this?

V.20 By their fruit you shall know them. Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith Meekness, temperance: Father, may I ever display your fruit that others see Christ and not me.

We have only to look at Jesus.....keep our eyes on HIM so as to not loose our way. When tempted to look at circumstances or ourselves turn, turn quickly and look at Him. He did not fail and nor will he ever fail us. He is our Shepard and He leads us. We just look and follow and look and follow until...............................................

God is my salvation : I find His salvation in His word : His word is Truth : Holy Spirit is my teacher: I praise God that He has allowed me to have a copy of His word. I cherish and see His word very precious in my life. I Praise God I am a part of the family of God .

I have no reason whatsoever to Divorce (I don't believe in it)

Verse 28 always helps me to remember that we all benefit from Jesus Christ sacrifice, it's not limited.
