I was admitted to hospital the evening before an operation for a recently discovered tumour. I randomly opened the bible at Mark eleven and read about the withered bush. " If you ask for something in prayer believe that you have already received and it shall be given.

I was led to this scripture while thinking about " a crown that fadeth not away" we know the crown of thorns that Jesus recieved in our place..thus also symbolic of His royalty and the fact that he is KING of KINGS!! Jesus said no man taketh my life, but I lay it down..what an awesome God..he chose a crown of thorns..but offers us a crown of life! Roman soldiers did not kill Jesus..he gave life!

God has always been Faithful, although we often lean on our own understanding. We need the Lord even more now, His word has reached the entire earth, let us pray to give Him Glory and Honor and Praise.

Plsam 23 takes away my fear and doubt anytime an faced with trials and tribulations.....thank u lord for being my shepherd.

The Lord is good and a strong hold in trouble. He know them who have trust in him. Jesus is a good shepherd who laid down his life to the sheep. A sheep who follow Jesus will know his voice. Bless them who persecute you bless them and curse not what a strong commandment to us TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS JESUS LOVES US. It always reminds me to be HUMBLE ALWAYS AND HONOR GOD IN EVERYTHING I WILL DO. I will continue to REJOICE IN HOPE help me Lord to have more patience on tribulation. This message is for Tjohn, I will just like to tell you and encourage you, that first and foremost we serve a Faithful God. And us as believers are suppose to only live by faith. Meaning that Jesus Christ have already paid the price for us. By his stripes you are healed. As long as you confess it with your whole heart. This applies to you. Just ask God for forgiveness then forgive yourself.

Psalm 91 comforts me. It removes the fear that fills this world and my heart. He shall call on me and I will answer. That's all I need to know that no weapon formed against me will prosper. I think the Lord everyday even after the cancer diagnosis I know the Lord has me in his hands. Everything will be alright I just keep reading the word.

I really thank the Lord for His mercy towards us by fogivness of the cross so we can be free to share His love to a world that needs salvation

I asked my supervisor and friend why I was feeling overwhelmed by problems and stress and she read me Psalms 23...to this day...3 days later that's all I think of...I'm so grateful to have a spiritual friend to help me open my eyes to what God has planned for me. I would really like to know more about this scripture

This brought me so much peace and a feeling of closeness to god and I felt the holy spirit upon me while reading the scripture this is a powerful scripture!

The name of the Lord is a strong Tower the RIGHTEOUS RUNNING INTO IT AND IT SAFE. Our GOD IS SO POWERFUL HE IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD IN HIM THERE IS NO DARKNESS. If we choose and accept Jesus in our life we have everything that we need. HE IS THE VINE AND WE ARE THE BRABCHES WITHOUT HIM WE CANT BEAR FRUIT. HE is our SAVIOUR OF OUR SOUL. THANKS TO THE BLOOD OF JESUS.

Yes our Lord is sovereign in our salvation. His choosing is not based on performance but as we are told in 1 Corinthians He chooses the weak and lowly so that "no flesh can glory in His presence". When we get to heaven we won't be bragging about ourselves but we will be humbly praising and thanking Him for all eternity! We have no bragging rights now or then in heaven!

I was "Born again" at a Billy Graham gospel convention in London 1966. It is like yesterday to me. I can assure every reader that God is faithful through Jesus and His Holy Spirit. The many times I have let Him down I know He has never loosened His loving grip on me. Praise His Name!

To Mary on Ps. 37 - The word of God is a real help in time of trouble, isn't it? Our pastor spoke on Ps. 37:7 several months ago - ".....rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him". He will give us rest through our prayer life, and we wait patiently for Him to answer those prayers - KNOWING that He will!!! Praise the name of Jesus!!!

This verse has saved my life. I was ready to die with unrepentant sins and this verse came to mind from the Son Of God himself. Glory to God and our savior Jesus Christ!!!

Amen Stephen. We all must have the holy ghost spirit. We need the baptism of this spirit. its Gods power. The evidence is u will speak in tongues. This is God that dwells in you. He leads you to all truths. He shows u how to lead a christian life. And CH 8 says you are none of his without it. This is for ALL mankind. Ask to be filled. Acts 2:38 also. Praise him always.

I am so greatful for being chosen. God has truly been good to me. Thank you JESUS for shedding your blood and saving a sinner like me. I have to say Hallelujah glory to You, You are so worthy to be praised. I am a living witness of the change God will make in you! I was one of the biggest messes, But Glory Be To GOD, HE saved my life and made me whole. Hallelujah thank you Jesus! Try Him!
