As with many of these inspired writings; we certainly can look at Christ as being prophetically referenced to here. We are reminded of Psalm 22; as well as the times when Christ Himself said "why have you foresaken me?" ( Matt. 27:46). There is ultimate trust in David in verse 5; which we can all cling onto. Only Christ had to have that unspeakable horror of God's mercy removed for that brief moment in time. Only Christ COULDN'T pray for salvation of His soul (unnecessary for a member of the deity). But only He could procure the punishment for our sin as an atonement; and hence WOULD not be released from being a sin offering as it was clearly part of God's plan for the redemption of man.
We also are remined in Psalm 23:5 where a table is prepared in the presence of enemies. This could certainly apply to us; in the Millennium Kingdom as well as the Lord Himself when He rules with an iron rod. Any saint of God recognizes in general that they are in enemy territory lest they become too content in the world which is about to perish as it exists now in its fallen state under Satan's control. We are reminded of Christ's admonition to us that a servant is no greater than his master ( Jn. 13:16) and can truly understand we also will have trials as the Lord Himself was the "man of sorrows" ( iSAIAH 53:3). Man is but a vapor ( Romans 8:7 and mentioned further in Psalm 62:9; etal.
As the apostle wrote, "And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit" ( Galatians 5:24,25). And it's only by the Power of the Spirit in us can our flesh be crucified, and only by the Life of the Spirit in us can we truly walk in the Spirit, desiring only to please our Lord God & His Son. Those who so walk, can be confident that "an entrance shall be ministered unto (them) abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ." ( 2 Peter 1:11).
Do you understand what it means to produce after their own kind?
God said let us make man in our image.
God is Spirit, if we are (Re)created in his image, we also become Spirit (God, in a glorified body, just like Christ)

Philippians 2:13 For it is God that worketh IN YOU both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.
You must be born again: understand what awaits you when you leave this body of flesh.

1 Corinthians 15:53 ...this mortal shall PUT ON immortality (Christ only hath immortality, we put on Christ).
1 Corinthians 15:28 ....that God may be ALL in ALL.

God bless you.

The Bible is interesting about "brother" generations after Esau & Jacob the brotherhood was still very significant to GOD.= Obadiah 1:10,12,13,14,15,
Jesus speaking : Matthew 12:47-50, John 1:12
If we can call each other "bro, brother," in slang in our society, just relation in sporting ....? Is it the Son of GOD reference? 2Peter 2, note 2Peter 2:7-9, Romans 8:14, Hebrews 11,

Sorry for such a delay, I'm not getting my notices to my email. I think I have som updating to do.
Joy is a fruit of the Spirit, This is to be present in a believers life for the ministry. If a person have this in his life he will be more effectual in his ministry.
John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
This Joy spoken of here is not what you can manifest on your own.
This comes to a believer abiding in Christ.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. John 15:4.
The Psalmist says in Psalms 20:4-5
we are to have joy in thy salvation.
This reminds me of Romans 8:28-35
This a lot to be joyful about.
However sometimes we will encounter sadness but even in sadness we have joy in Christ!
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5.
I hope this helps.
God bless.
"And we know that all things work (good or bad) together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
It is really a very difficult situation, but pray to and trust God dear Leslie and be patient, at the end everything is going to turn up good. God can turn things around, it is not impossibled for him. Remenber Daniel when he was set up by those people in authority who tried to make the Persian King condemn him to death, eventually all of them fell in the trap they set up for Daniel.
But what is in your hand to do, you must do it. Ask God to give you wisdom and help, to direct you in how to handle things.
May God help you and we will pray for you.
Master. I have stated before and it doesn't hurt to repeat it that Christ is our MASTER as well as being Lord and Savior. Of course this isn't a "politically correct" concept which would be one benefit those living in a society seeing servitude (indentured servants at least) would have in comprehending that concept as a proper "lifestyle choice" for those who would proclaim Christ (although it is more of a command). The most direct reference Christ makes to us in this status is when he talks about the "unworthy servant" ( Luke 17:7-10). This gives as a good outline of how; for instance we should always prioritize our time for worship; prayer and studying the Word. There is only one who we are accountable to as individuals when this life is done. All good gifts are given from above; and hence are to be used for service in the Kingdom and edification of the brethren.
Fellowship of the saints. The command (not request) to love one another is emphasized in John 13:34-35 as well as 1 John. Surely the disciple that Christ "loved" ( John 21:7) was used to deliver this message and surely he understood that concept.
Sadly; this concept of adoption into the family of God ( Romans 8:14-19 but by no means limited to that verse) is more of an abstract idea today in most churches. Something as practical as inviting a single person to a holiday meal (such as was done for me a few years back) can really make a difference. We are instructed to rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn ( Romans 12:15). The opposite of this is either indifference; or worse gossip which basically is mocking a person's situation or at best having some morbid curiosity. Just to break out and instigate a conversation may take some effort when others on a Sunday morning are more interested id discussing sports; entertainment or personal matters to those in their social circles.
When we observe professing Christians; there are many clues as to whether they are "fruit producers" or not. This could be more adequately explained by comparing all "professors" of the faith to those "possessors" of the Holy Spirit. Here are some helpful verses to examine ourselves as well as get some clues as to where others are spiritually.
"He chastises everyone He loves." ( Heb. 12:6). Those of us who have been truly walking the straight and narrow know better than to glibly pray for something like patience. To freely embrace a verse like James 1:2 where we are told to "consider it all joy" when various trials/temptations come pass need to trust the Lord that He knows how to work all circumstances for the good OF THOSE WHO LOVE GOD (and called according to His purpose: Romans 8:28). This is the best way we can distinguish who is in the faith; those who truly understand not only that their sins have been forgiven; but they have a new Lord; Savior AND master. His sheep hear His voice; they may go astray for a time but the Chief Shephard brings in the lost 1 from the 99. ( Luke 15:4).
"if you love me you will obey my commandments." ( John 14:15). This verse may seem to contradict the ones where people were doing all sorts of "good works" in His name but were not His sheep ( Matt. 7:21-23). This is a caution to anyone who would have a ministry based on their own name; or type of gifting and certainly for the prosperity gospel leadership. We saw the same self-righteous religion with the Pharisees. Judas Iscariot is a pathetic example who was somehow convinced to betray Christ for 30 pieces of silver; apparently 4 days wages at that time although it would show silver vastly more valuable then compared to today's valuation. It was the seduction of power; then which Satan used to draw him in; thus the verse The admonitions of Luke 6:26 and Luke 16:15 serve aw warnings for those loving praise of men over praise of God.
Therefore; many may be genuinely shocked when the Lord says that He never knew them and they ask for entrance into heaven. ( Matt. 7:21). Sadly; many never will know the depths of their own depravity until they enter hell; surely then they will know how helpless they are; although there will be no love and appreciation for a Holy God. The biggest message I can see here is that we must in this life be saved; as well as love God. Mankind in his natural state can fear God but cannot love Him; nor Christ who the Father sent to die in our place. All believers are called to share in the sufferings of Christ; and to bear their own cross daily. ( Romans 8:17; Matt. 16:24). Only believers can understand being part of the Body of Christ and fellowship of the saints. ( 1 John 1:3 and many other passages). We must die to ourselves daily ( Galatians 2:20). This involves selfless acts; but also has to have a heart change ( Ezekiel 36:26). To be drawn to the light is the state of those who He has called to be His children and chosen ( John 3:21).
As my last commentary stated; we are not to worry about whether we are elected by God; at least as some curiousity or intellectual concept. Our responsibility is ultimately ours to test ourselves to see if we are in the faith ( 2 Cor. 13:5). His Spirit communes with our spirit to show us if we are of God ( Romans 8:16).
Verses 18 through 19 reminds us of the seriousness of God's Word. No other religions or other writings that change the Word of God or create another method of salvation; another Christ etc. are to be tolerated (See Galatians 1:8). Such a reverent fear of God's Word today is sorely lacking. Many probably don't believe these things are really going to be this bad; sadly a former Pastor of mine used to have these thoughts when reading the Book of Isaiah. If the rich man in hell is any example; no one there will be grateful for our lackluster witness here now.
Yes, it is GOD that Justifieth.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Galatians 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Read John verse 3:1-21
1 Corinthians 4:5 speaks volume to us since saints understand the mysteries revealed to the faithful and Romans 1:6 & Romans 8:28. For saints know Isaiah 5:20. We are where we are today. God is so great to allow us to do things in life in our own free will where in the end The Glory belongs to God. God allowed me to have worked with great scientists in America with great heart. I do not need to understand and question everything at the spare of the moment. I just know the paths God lead me in was not to question authorities in the land. God has the heavenly plans and those are what I am and every saint must be very excited about. When you walk in the Spirit of God, you are like in a trance. Next thing you know someone tells you on earth job well done. Not to boast but again and again to Glorify God because He helped you to do job well done. I can control only me and hopefully have a strong influence with my family and friends and anybody that touches my life to follow God as I walk the walk and talk the talk. Even 1 Timothy 5:4 saints take it to heart. All is good with God James 1:17 and all are Your's 1 Corinthians 3:21-23. I know It is easy said and done here on earth. We all have afflictions and to some unbearable 2 Corinthians 6:4. I thank God for the blood of Jesus Christ for that power is in everyone who put his trust, faith and believe in that He will never leaves you. Psalms 91 memorize!
The Spirit speaks to you 1 Peter 3:13, 3 John 1:11. Be in Spirit so you can 1 Thessalonians 5:21 and 1 Thessalonians 5:15. Philippians 2:13 and Ephesians 1:9. Saints, Ephesians 4:29
There are more heavenly things I can share but I like to inspire you with this testimony Colossians 1:27. Let us all grow in true Charity 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, the bond of perfectness Colossians 3:14. In conclusion 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Happy Sunday with the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace and peace to ALL.
Please read again Genesis 6, look back to Genesis 4:26, Genesis 5, Job 1:5,6, Job 1:20-22 continues to Job 2:1, John 1:12, Romans 8:14, Philippians 2:15, Hebrews 1:4,5,6,7
Angels aren't Sons of GOD 1Corinthians 6:3,
In KJV 1611 Tobit 3, Tobit 7, Tobit 12, are the only thing even close & there was not what you stated in these scriptures. Mark 12:25, notice the scriptures here are relevant to Tobit; Mark 12:18-25,

Romans 8:35-39
35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, nakedness, or peril, or sword.
36. As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep to the slaughter.
37. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that love us.
38. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:28-34
28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.
29. For whom he did foreknow, he also predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31. What shall we then say to these things? If God before us, who can be against us?
32. He that spare not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33. Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God.

Thank you for your insight.
You said you disagree that the Holy Spirit would reveal things beyond what is already written.
But there are many Biblical passages that say things will be revealed
I respectfully challenge you to please show me the Biblical passages to support your thoughts as I have done below to support the Spirit of God will reveal things, today.
If the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy, how can there not be more prophecy?
How then could we say we have a testimony of Jesus but not believe in revelation?
When we pray to God for guidance, can the Spirit not help direct us today?
An angel appeared to Cornelius and told him to call for Peter and Peter brought Cornelius the Gospel.
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. ( Hebrews 13:2)
Do you believe angels are among us?
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? ( Hebrews 1:14)
And how can the Scripture be fulfilled Paul saying,
for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; ( 2 Thessalonians 2:3)
Even the Saints in the early days received revelations
If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. ( 1 Corinthians 14:27)
If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.
For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. ( 1 Corinthians 14 30-31)
How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. ( 1 Corinthians 14:26)
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. ( Romans 8:9)
Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
