This is the barley harvest after the first fruits are sealed the faithful church in Revelation 3:10 and the church that is watching and praying they are worthy to escape these things in Luke 21:36 it is the rapture but not like you have been taught it's not the trumpet sounding and the dead in Christ rising in 2 thess that happens at wheat harvest which is at the last trumpet the 7th trumpet in Revelation which the barley wheat and first fruits will also be apart of the grape harvest comes later with those who didn't take the mark are raised to life again to rule and reign with us a 1000 years there are 3 harvests after the first fruits 144000 are sealed so it's the rapture of the faithful church that is watching and worthy to escape the 7 trumpets it's the barley harvest

Hi Chris, just noticed your comment...

    >If I seek to obey any of God's Laws, including the Sabbath, then I am judged by the Law & voluntarily exempt myself from salvation by Grace & not the Law.

Jesus disagrees with this in John 14:15. Jesus directly says if you love him you will keep his commandments (law). If you don't obey, then you don't love Jesus. If someone doesn't love or follow Jesus then they likely won't be invited to spend eternity with Him in heaven.

James 2 explains how grace and works work together. Its possible what you were trying to say is actually from James 2:10, but it doesn't say what you wrote. If you read on it clearly supports doing good works. No where in the Bible does it say we're NOT supposed to obey God or Jesus. It says the opposite throughout.

I watch out for anyone claiming good works are 'bad', as if following Jesus and his commands are bad. But somehow that not worrying about following Jesus's commands is 'ok' despite the exact words Jesus said that say the opposite. Ecclesiastes 12:13 Calling good bad sounds awfully familiar as if it comes a deceiver.

If you pursue Christ you are a Christian under grace, but following Him is an activity involving effort. It's not human effort that saves anyone, but it should be the natural fruit of loving Jesus. Many call themselves Christians and don't love Jesus, because they don't obey, and they will be surprised in the end just as Jesus predicted: Revelation 3:16 and Matthew 7:21 and Hebrews 10:26.

Chris -- Thanks for the reply, and thanks for being civil. I still have to disagree with what you said. When you began your defense of your views with, "Wouldn't a believer...", I couldn't help but think that this is not how we must, as Bible-believing Christians, defend a position. When we hold a doctrine to be true, we must not use human logic or, "Don't you think that ___?" We must appeal to Scripture for our views, and Scripture alone. And Scripture, in fact, gives us an example of one who DID walk away from his salvation, after knowing Christ face-to-face. That person was Judas Iscariot. He knew our Lord, talked with our Lord, and walked with our Lord, yet he chose to reject Jesus and go his own way...As for the verse I cited from 1 Corinthians, maybe you disagree with what I said, but I wonder how you can dismiss these very clear verses:

But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. ( Matthew 6:15)

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. ( Matthew 24:13)

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. ( Revelation 3:5)

There are other verses I can provide, if you're interested. The clear testimony of the Bible is that we must persevere in the grace of God, otherwise we will be lost. No one can snatch us out of God's hand, but that doesn't mean that we cannot walk away from him. Quite frankly, the fact that OSAS is so popular in America, scares me, because it is making people take their salvation lightly.

Some argue once saved always saved and eternal security of the believer. Some use this grace as an excuse to sin.

I just know that the Bible says this:

Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not BLOT blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

One can argue over the interpretation of who gets blotted out of the book of life. It is a scary thought to consider some names in the book of life could be blotted out. Who will these be? pray over it and ask.

    I am not sure either.

Kristin Haney, you don't go to heaven. You grow to heaven. Being saved is rounding first base. Ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior - only once. You did it. Great. Now go on to 2nd base. Read and understand Revelation 3:20 with respect to Rev. 11:1 where it tells you to take stock of yourself in the development of the Temple of God - your body that houses 7 spiritual centers or often called either chakras or your seven seals. The one LIKE unto the Son of Man is your little voice in your head or your women's intuition or your remote to God or your Christ Consciousness that ancient man called the Overself or Super Conscious mind. Again Rev. 3:20 asks you to let God Almighty into your own personal Temple of God as He wishes to "sup" with you and you with Him. This is ultra important in your Christian life. Attributes of Him in chap 1 - white hair - wisdom; golden girdle - worth; eyes of fire - perception. Good luck Kristin Haney.

Tricia Browne, yoga is definitely a four-letter word to mainstream Christianity however it is because mainstream Christianity has an extreme bias because they are deathly afraid of letting the Devil into your head because they are afraid of the other four-letter word meditation. Meditation and yoga make Christianity crazy. So, when John the Revelator was "in the spirit", precisely what does that actually mean? Being "in the spirit" IS meditation!!!!!! If so then - and it is - why wasn't John afraid that the Devil was actually in his mind controlling him? Not one word of fear from John since John was INTENTIONALLY being in the spirit or he was INTENTIONALLY meditating and was unafraid of the Devil getting into his mind. YOU Tricia shouldn't be afraid either. Relax and close your eyes and realize that ONLY The Lord will enter your Temple of God - your body - not the Devil. Read Revelation 3:20 as the Lord wants to come into your Temple and "sup" with you - and you with Him.
  • Wolfen244 - In Reply on Revelation 1 - 5 years ago
Erica Tirado, Read and understand the promise @ Revelation 3:20. This has NOTHING to do with being saved. Instead it has everything to do with your own personal Temple of the Living God - your body. Your body is the real temple. God Almighty in heaven is right outside your temple and is knocking at the "door" to your temple. Ask Him to come into your temple and He promises to "sup" with you - and you with Him. That is heavyweight!! Before you do realize it isn't Joe Sixpack down the road. You are inviting The Lord God Almighty who throws gas balls around the Universe. So make your temple circumspect before the Lord then invite Him in and you both sup with each other. Trust me.

Kristin: read in 1 John 1:9, psalm 51, Revelation 3:5

Backsliding means you stood in one place. You're like a prodigal daughter. Come back and re-dedicate your life. Let your yes Be yes and your no's mean no. No waffling. It happens to a lot of people. Doesn't mean it's not important. I sit beside my bed on the floor and confess my wrongs. God hears and forgives. Let faith stand up: you stand forgiven. Like Jesus said to the woman about to be stoned: Go, and sin no more.

Jesus is your Advocate (attorney). Maybe someday you can help someone else.

If you want to spend eternity with Jesus.. get to know him by reading His Word..the Bible.

  • Moongold - In Reply on Revelation 3 - 5 years ago
Mick, I think I've already dealt with your accusation of me 'judging'. Please don't simply keep on making the same allegation - you need to read my emails again about spiritual DISCERNMENT, which we MUST have, as God Himself tells us. As to the Papacy 'fufilling prophecy' I strongly recommend you do a thorough study on Daniel & the Revelation because we are in the last remnant of time before Jesus returns, and the Papacy sure DOES fit all prophetic descriptions of her role. Specifically, she is the 1st beast of Rev. chapter 13. Once you understand that prophecy everything will become abundantly clear, I pray. Over and out ..

I did not say the Catholic religion had it all right. You're judging. Scripture says don't do it.rnIt was the Holy Spirit that opened up Luke 1 to me. I used to think like you are.rnAll generations of catholic believers have done something NO ONE in other religions barely ever do. She is Jesus's mother. She was chosen. She spoke what had been spoken to her by the angel.rnALL GENERATIONS of people will call her BLESSED. It's a prophesy! Don't mess with Gods prophesies. Apostle John called her blessed. Have you ever wondered about Luke Ch. 1 ?
  • Moongold - In Reply on Revelation 3 - 5 years ago
Second, yes, Mary was told when she was ALIVE & on EARTH that she was blessed because she had been chosen by God to bring His Son in human form into the world. And yes, we recognise she certainly was blessed to receive that trust. However, the Bible gives no support to a belief in a 'risen' Mary, when you study out the doctrine of death totally (which is too long to do here). Worship of any other being, creature, image or thing is clearly condemned in the Bible as idolatry. Finally, in regard to the right or wrong teachings of ANY church, Christ instructed us to rebuke and reprove wrong teaching not according to His Word. I stand with Him: If it's wrong, it's WRONG! 2 Tim. 4:2

Hebrews 5:14 - But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to DISCERN both good and evil. 1 Corinthians 2:14 - But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them , because they are spiritually DISCERNED (We need the Holy Spirit to give us CORRECT discernment or we will lose our way).
1 Kings 3:9 - Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may DISCERN BETWEEN GOOD AND BAD: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?" When a Christian discerns the WRONG way, he/she is to turn away from it.
  • Moongold - In Reply on Revelation 3 - 5 years ago
Mick, I'll have to reply in a few screens as this site doesn't allow for lengthy replies. First, on 'judging' - One thing I find with many Christians today is that they confuse discernment (a gift of the Holy Spirit given to us to use, when we are converted) with judgment. No, we are not to judge others as to their sins & personal mistakes, but we most certainly are to discern between truth and error, between wrong doctrine and correct doctrine, between true and false - or we will all of course end up on the scrap heap! We have to DISCERN the way of danger from the path of safety in our Christian walk. The Bible is FULL of instruction to us to discern wrong from right!
  • Mick to Moongold - In Reply on Revelation 3 - 5 years ago
Even tho a lot of Christians disagree with the Catholic Church practices, recent scandals and all that, they have unwittingly fulfilled a PROPHESY in Luke chapter one. My advice is do not judge!
Luke ch.1 verses 28, 30, the angel told her she was blessed among women.
In verses 46-50 see: Henceforth (from now forward) ALL GENERATIONS SHALL CALL ME BLESSED.
As we all know the Catholics have performed this prophesy. You aren't going to convince a Baptist church to do it; even Assembly of God. We only give The Virgin Mary credit at Christmas. She's in the manger scenes that we buy. How spiritual is that? DONT JUDGE. I got clobbered by the Holy Spirit a couple of times for judging.
  • Moongold - In Reply on Revelation 3 - 5 years ago
The fact that you're becoming fixated on an object and it's causing you distress I believe indicates a need to simply give it up. Our Lord is not found in objects - this is really idolatry. And you are right in seeing it that way. You're not catholic, and catholicity is involved in worshipping relics, objects, statues - all to do with death or things not having life! Our God is the one true, living God - not found in statues or objects, but as the evidence of 'things NOT seen'. Heb. 11:1. We are to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. John 4:24 God bless!

Wearing a cross is wrong. It means you're nailing Jesus on the cross for the second time. He had paid the price to die on the cross for us. He's no longer on the cross. He is risen!

Just because someone claims to be a Jew or Christian does not make it so.
Even Jesus said so in bible book Revelation 2:9 - I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
Jesus in Revelation 3:9 - Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
Many church goers and their pastors are no better.

I got rid of a wood cross I had because I didn't want to disrespect what the Lord did on the cross. It was becoming a decorative thing on the wall and I was admiring the beauty of it instead of what Jesus did on Cross.

Jesus Christ Teaches you in Revelation 3:21 "To him and her that OVERCOMES idol-worshipping religion and its cross and double-crosses will I Grant to Sit with Me in My THRONE, even as I also OVERCAME religion and its cross and double-crosses , and am set down with My Father God in His THRONE."

You Christians who believe you are Saved by Christ's death, Christ just told you that you are WRONG!!! You still Must OVERCOME idolatrous religion and it's crosses and double crosses. CHRIST IN YOU CONQUERED DEATH AND HIS REWARD IS TO SIT IN THE THRONE WITH OUR FATHER GOD. You too must OVERCOME by Faith in Our Father God's Tough-LOVE just like Jesus did!!! Ignore the cross. Focus on the THRONE.

if one can not lost their salvation and the Holy Spirit can not leave...then why this?
Psalms 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Exodus 32:33 And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
(one can have their name blotted out of the book of life and yes I know they are not saved yet)
Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

    Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
Peter was given the same keys as you and I today, Faith in his name (JESUS) the doors are opened and shut. Like Daniel in the den of lions an angel shut the lions mouth.
Acts 3:16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

It's my belief that if you genuinely repented of your sins, accept Jesus as Lord and you're actively following Him then you're saved. I believe it's either you're saved or not, a binary yes/no, not inbetween. Luke warm people are not saved. Revelation 3:16. However, God's grace has no limits. No sin is too great- except blasphemy- people have killed in the Bible who became influential Christians, like Paul. I also believe God is a fair judge and we will be rewarded according to our actions, so I think it's likely there are levels of reward within heaven and levels of punishment in hell. That is my own personal opinion.

Read v.1 you will see the word signified. The Book of Revelations is full of signifiers. What does your cross signify to you? To me, It signifies the pain and suffering that Jesus suffered because of other peoples sinful ways of life. People seem to forget that we are reading a SPIRITUAL book. To understand what one is reading, one must stay focused on the INNER Body not on the OUTTER body.
  • Adam - In Reply on Galatians 3 - 5 years ago
The Bible already covered this. The answer is no, you can't just do whatever evil you want assuming you're covered by grace and expect to get into heaven. Matthew 7:21, Romans 6:1, John 14:15. Even satan believes, so believing isn't enough. A Christian must follow Jesus which is an active role, not passive. Revelation 3:16. Satan has deceived people into believing they can sin all they want and don't have to be obedient or follow Jesus. The Bible refutes that.
  • Adam - In Reply on Revelation 3 - 5 years ago
Romans 14:21-24. It's my opinion that if something feels wrong to you then avoid that while being sensitive to others. I personally do not interpret a cross as a graven image. Is anything physical relating to God an idol or graven image then? Like a Bible? What if the Bible has a cross on it, is it now bad? What if you have a Bible verse framed and hung on your wall- bad too? How far does one take it? So any Christian objects are bad, and non-Christian objects good then you basically de-Christianize everything in your life and that seems like something satan would want.
  • Stanjett - In Reply on Revelation 3 - 5 years ago
As long as you don't worship it or pray to it because it is a thing and can not hear or speak. Wearing a cross so people will know you are a follower of Christ is not wrong I think.
