I find that a lot of people that I have asked do you know God has a personal name ? Only to find out that they did not.I showed them in the KJ. King James version of the bible Psalms 83 18 and Ex 6 3 Isaiah 12 2 42 8 They were very excited .I love to call upon the name of Jehovah when I pray . AND 1 Timothy 2 5 One God and One Mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus .
Yahweh or Yehovah is closer in Hebrew but most of us speak English. English is English and Hebrew is Hebrew. Yeshua is closer to how the Hebrews called Jesus as we say in English.
This Psalm 83 I feel what 's going on in these latter days and I know there 's many other believers believe the same way. I can assure you what 's said in verses 1 thru 8 most if not all verses have already come to pass. The prophets of old called these territories as they knew them in their time but most of these territories are known to be in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, today and some was in Egypt several years back. But for you to get a surprise like I did get you Strong 's Concordance of the KIV version of the Bible and look up the word "Nobles " in verse 11 the numbers to look up from the Concordance in the old Testament in the Hebrews dictionary are 5081 and 5068. they both mean terrorists. They have the words tyrant, volunteer, to blow themselves up ,willingly offer themselves, soldiers and others things.
Clearly states Gods name is JEHOVAH, Most high over all the earth. Meaning. No one or nothing is above him not even Jesus which is his only begotten son, meaning he created him then Jesus created all other things thru JEHOVAHS Holy Spirit.
This song Psalm 83 is a prophecy for present time Middle East situation. Look at a present geographic map of the Middle East. The same enemies mentioned in this psalm are trying to sweep off the State of Israel today from the map. Edom and Moab are to day 's Jordan. Ishmaelites and Hagarines are today 's Egypt. Gebal is today 's Lebanon. Amon and Amalik are Arabs living in Middle East mainly in Jordan. Philistia as a state was to day 's Gaza strip, but there is no Philistians for the past 2500 years! Assur is todays Syria,Iraq and Turkey. There is no such nation as Palestinians.Don 't mix philistines with self named "palestinians ". Search the Internet to find this. If there was a Palestine Jesus would have talked about it. When He was crucified the Romans wrote on the cross the King of Israel...

Indeed the scripture has stated very clear by saying men who do not know may know Ps 119 73 thy hands have made me fashioned me give me understanding that i may learn thy commands meaning that us we know him even upon what He has done as our Creater that thou despite His doings is got a name for who He is whose name is JEHOVAH He alone maker ps119 73 great teacher ps119 33 and the most high over all the earth Its also a god thing that HE is known by HIS name so that none gets confused when it comes to acknowledging addressing our GOD

Psalm 83 is a fulfilment of the current crisis in the middle east. the book of psalms is referring to the current Arabs(enemies of God)making a resolution that the nation of Israel must be destroyed but they are all going to be destroyed
it is clear that Jesus here is the Begotten God in which he preached words about The God who is JEHOVAH ( Psalms 83:18) that is why Jesus is called The Word ... Jesus and the God is not the same.. one proof is Jesus prayed at Luke 17 ... he used the word "Father" .. Father and Son is not the same obviously... so there is Someone Higher than Jesus - Jehovah ( Psalms 83:18)
Did the writen book say any other name no the unseen god jehovah christ we seen this name stands alone but not used only by his poeple just like the other gods others used and steel do but I stand alone above all god on earth is jehovah can any other gods make a planet millions of light yrs away this on jesus talked about
John 1: 18 says" No man has seen God at any time".Many people saw Jesus. John 20:31 says "These have been written down that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God". Jesus was created directly by God having quality similar to those of his father. Psalms 83:18 says Jehovah is the most high. found in KJV New World Translation. Many other translations of the Bible have taken Jehovah out and replaced it with LORD.

( Matthew 23:24) I've read many of the posted comments and am just saddened by meaningless debate over the name Jehovah...What about the joy of what David is saying: that God is most high and above all the earth...Instead of petty debate and attempting to prove man's doctrine or justify a certain religious belief, what's most important is glorifying God who is Jehovah, high above the earth, maker and creator of all things, by serving His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, that whosoever belief in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life. God's word is truth. without the Holy Ghost, noone will ever come into the presence of the Most High God
The name Jehovah has been used around the globe for many centuries, it can be found in churches, on coins and on buildings to name but a few.
Some hold Jesus as Almighty God.
Jesus is not Almighty, but mighty god.
His Father alone is Almighty God.
How can we be sure that Jesus is the correct pronunciation, but we all still use it!
There are other books in the king James version that mention God's name Jehovah. In the new testament though Jesus taught us to name and call Him FATHER.
If this is the only place in Kings Version than it is sad. To all sincere believers of God and Jesus Christ should wake up and do some real studying because God's name in original scripts is used almost 7,000 times and God requires from us to call upon his name. For example: Isiah 12:2,4,5 Jer. 33:2,3 There are many , many verses that needed to be studied by those who oppose God's name and believe in Trinity. I hope you wake up.
They are many gods and many lords but there is one true God-Jehovah.Any one who wants to pray to the true God will use the name JEHOVAH through his son JESUS i dont guess which god i am praying to.AMEN
This chapter is prophetic about the war against Israel that will come, we are close now as in Joel 3:2 These nations are coming against Israel,Egypt Syria Iran and Russia Etc. look at the names here and find the names if these nations today. 9/27/13
Thomas, The New World Translation restored the name to it's rightful place EVERY time it was used in the original transcripts. Satan the Devil would love nothing more than for people to not use the name of God. He is truly behind it's absence in most Bibles today.
