The Lord has provided the means to fight the lust of the flesh.
-- Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Stop letting the flesh and its lust drive the bus. When the flesh rises up, take back control of your thoughts, quote a verse. I have found for me all that is needed is to repeat a few times: Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty.
-- Revelation 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
-- Isaiah 6:3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

Jesus Christ, Thank You for bringing Sarah and her fianc together under Your covering. We ask You to draw them deeper into Your Word so their hearts, choices, and home are built on truth. Let them hunger for Scripture and find unity in prayer together.
Lord, bless their finances as they plan their wedding and future. Provide every need without debt or strain. Release provision, favor, and wisdom so they can steward money wisely and walk in freedom from credit card debt. Grant them safe travels always and protection. Let generosity and gratitude replace any fear of lack.
We ask for health and healing over their bodies, his teeth, her skin, and both lymphatic systems. Let Your restoring power renew them inside and out. Help them make healthy choices and reduce drinking, replacing it with peace, laughter, and wholeness. Heal Sarah's heart from fear and past trauma. Calm every anxious thought, and restore her confidence in love and safety. Strengthen their communication with grace and understanding. Let honesty and patience flow easily between them.
Father, open doors for them to have a home of their own soon, one filled with Your presence, joy, longevity, salvation and peace. Let Your blessing rest upon their marriage from the first day and every day after. May it be prosperous, faithful, happy, healthy, long and blessed. In Jesus' Name, Amen. Standing On: And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:19

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."
Let us continue to pray for the hard-hearted, that they shall be saved. Let us remember those under chastisement, knowing that God has not turned them over unto death but will restore them to the right relationship with him.
Let us be grateful for both great and small things.
Dear my Father in heaven, I pray for the Job and stand on your word that 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 and 1 Chronicles 16:34, which focus on comfort from God and giving thanks for His goodness and love. I pray for God's grace and gain favor from employers where I applied and did interviews. Help the lord to become victorious. Lord, remember me as yours and do good to as your son in Jesus Christ's name, Amen. I wait for you, lord, and pass all other interviews set for me by potential employers. Amen. Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
When I read about enduring and overcoming, it resonates with me as a call to obedience. Obedience is essential to our walk with God and shows our love for Him. As Giannis said, God's grace is a gift, and our salvation comes from Jesus' sacrifice; we can't do anything to earn it.
Obedience is the foundation of enduring and overcoming the challenges we face in this corrupt world. I agree it is by the blood of the Lamb, Philippians 4:13. Obedience is not a work but an expression of our love for God and the promises He has given us; obedience is on us, Romans 6:16, as Jesus is our guide who was obedient unto death, we are also to be obedient, many in the past has been obedient unto death and many in the future will also. To me, that is the ultimate enduring and overcoming.
I understand some of the verses I listed might fit a time when you and others believe the Church will be taken to heaven and won't be here, but those Scriptures are there for a reason, like Revelation 13:9-10 and Revelation 14:12-13. Those who have genuine faith will endure and overcome the persecution that is coming, even death.
Hello dear, serious speech. I am inspired by you "Richard H Priday" . And personally I want to state that for me The Holy Spirit is a good help. In teaching, in patience with me, He knows exactly what I need. when He will give it. No exceptions. This applies to all of us. For example, when I sit in a meeting. And it is spoken, condemned, and the speaker is without love. I want to leave. There is no point in sitting there and receiving such things.
But what does the body of Christ say, we have responsibility for each other, YES! We must remember that we should be slow to anger. So what do we do during a meeting when we see and hear something that is jarring. In some situations, we can be triggered to take it up with the person. The meeting can then change into a Hallelujah meeting. We cannot allow ourselves to let lies and deception slip through our fingers, we have a responsibility and we must not be cowards. But believe in the Living God Jesus Christ! We who are to bear each other's burdens should also pray for all the believers, those we see, those we meet and those we do not meet. Namely everyone. Now our growth with God is as He wants. But He probably sees those who are zealous for the Word, those who have righteous thoughts. Do good things without ulterior motives as well. And not to forget one little thing. Patience with each other, we are all at different levels. A person may be "old" in their thinking and actions as a young person. And an older person may be like someone who only drinks milk, right?
I haven't read any more this time either. But I hope it's okay that I add a little to your consideration for us all. God bless you in Jesus' Name, the name above all other names. Everyone knows His Name, when it is mentioned, in fact. Hallelujah, Amen Philippians 4:1-7
1 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart reioyceth in the Lord, mine horne is exalted in the Lord: my mouth is inlarged ouer mine enemies: because I reioyce in thy saluation.
2 There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any Rocke like our God.
3 Talke no more so exceeding proudly, let not arrogancie come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.
Then the Lord God filled my heart with joy and, because of what he has done, I walk with my head held high. Here, Hannah is talking about laughing at her enemies ( Philippians 4:4).
It is not written that Hannah said: "Penina, look at my Samuel - now I have a baby".
Hannah didn't seem to have that characteristic.
She's saying something more like:
"My God. I used to believe all those things the enemy said about me I was so naive, wasn't I?
All I had to do was pray.
All I had to do was surrender myself in the presence of the Almighty!"
"And there I was... giving weight to what my enemies said."
But now she says:
"I laughed. I'm laughing at my enemies. I feel very happy, because God has helped me!"
"No one is holy like the Lord. There is no other God but him. There is no rock like our God."
Hannah says:
"But look, don't take advantage. Don't speak with proud words.
What is Hannah saying?
"Now let's see, Peninnah. See if you can still laugh in my face".
Or make a prayer of misplaced adoration.
What is misplaced worship?
It's when we share our blessings using arrogant words.
I have nothing against songs that talk about blessings,
but the real issue is the intention of the heart - how we sing, why we sing and to whom we sing. Do you know what I mean.
I can't go to sleep without first saying: I was watching today and hoping to understand these two differences - works of the flesh vs. fruit of the Spirit, like in Galatians, and also Philippians 4:8 - about what we should think on: whatever is true, honest, right, excellent, and worthy of praise. Just like my limitation in English (one ball in a ball), I keep trying to understand and grow.
May Jesus Christ bless you and your family, gape!!

Word Spoken and Interpetation by Reginald Taylor Jr
With so many things happening around, I find myself asking: How is my soul doing?
As it says in (see Psalm 25) "Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all day." This reminds me of (see Ephesians 2), "For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility."And also of verse 13 (see Romans 2),my faith human renounce,"(For not the hearers of the Law are iust before God, but the doers of the Law shalbe iustified;" Even though my faith is still growing and my human understanding feels limited, I rest in these truths.
Even though my faith is still growing and my human understanding feels limited, I rest in these truths.
I also cannot forget one of the most well-known verses, which I've heard many times: 28"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."( romans 8). My hope is in Him, just as it's written in Luke 12:28-34 and in Jude 1:3, where I'm reminded to remain fully committed and present. This is a wake-up call for me - not to be negligent, even if my English vocabulary is still limited. Obedience depend on a willing heart.
In today's world, rushing has become so normal. That's why I often reflect on a chapter that helps me deal with anxiety: Philippians 4:6-9.
He has so many attributes, and one of the first I found in the Bible was lthe manifold wisedome of God. The verses in Luke 14:7-11 summarize my entire text

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
This verse sums up the truth that for all He suffered Jesus was to be satisfied with the result; that is many sons coming to glory ( Heb. 2:10). The riches of His glory is seen in Ephesians 3:16 which states: That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man...
A life well lived can be seen according to Paul's example in Philippians 4:12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
Many will focus on Paul's hardships and rightly so; but if we consider when he is full and abounds let us compare that to a moment to the unbelieving world. A lot of rich people like to have a positive thinking attitude; which is self aggrandizing if focused on self. What all men have in common is that they can't take it with them when they die. Job 1:21 states:
... Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD." We are instructed in Ecclesiastes to do all our hands while we yet have time: Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
What we do bring in the next life is the harvest we have produced in terms of souls reached for Him; and good works we have performed that had been prepared for us since before the foundation of the world ( Eph. 2:10; Eph. 1:4).
I conclude therefore that money; something discussed a lot in the Gospels is neutral; it is our affections that must be driven by our love for the Lord not money. We can have much and truly be rich; or spiritually impoverished.
First of all; as many would state correctly Easter is essentially a Pagan event coming from the word ishtar. Jesus was the final Passover as it were ( 1 Cor. 5:7).
I have been in the persuasion to some extent that the last trump mentioned signifying the Rapture ( 1 Cor. 15:52) may be different than the last trumpet judgment which seems to correspond with a time marker; perhaps the translation of the Tribulation saints.
At any rate if the Rapture did occur around this time of year; what would those left behind celebrate?
Passover reminds us of how we are to eat in haste ( Exodus 12:11-13); and this should also be our attitude in doing things while there is still day as it were to fulfill the Great Commission and expect His arrival at any day now. In this case haste doesn't make waste; it is the object of our efforts that motivates us. It doesn't mean being reckless in how we spread the truth or mean we should be void of wisdom; but it does mean that we should be swift to put Him first as a priority and time above all our other work and give Him glory in anything else we do besides outright evangelism.
For the world; it will be this way For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. ( Isaiah 60:2).
Judgment begins with the house of God; one could argue if this means just the church or perhaps the nation of Israel or both in the Tribulation (at least new believers). Again I am not going to make this a deep analysis of eschatology but will say that we need to be preparing our hearts daily and that it is preferable to repent now rather than chance being left behind. Whether that means become a Christian now or get our affairs in order as a believer to be delivered from lukewarmness again isn't something I am specifying. We want to certainly avoid a Revelation 3:11 error.
God will take away some of our gifts and replace it with the word of truth.
1 Corinthians 13:8
Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shallcease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
We now have the word of truth .

Apostle Paul wants us to pray in the Holy Spirit.

We should always gift thanks to the Father in Heaven before we ask .

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, thinkon these things.
May we all think about the gospel of grace for Salvation.
Most people don't realize when we think, dream and have thoughts , it comes from our brain and its really spiritual .
2 Corinthians 10:5
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity everythoughtto the obedience of Christ;
Apostle Paul wrote for us to think good things.
Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
I can do all things in Christ who is empowering me. That's the literal translation. The first line that says I can do all things, he says I have sufficient inherent strength already in me in Christ. I have sufficient inherent strength. The power of God lives in me.
I can do all things in Christ, not through, but in Christ. And then describing Christ: who is the one who is empowering me, showing that God's power is continuing to produce His power and strength in me. I like that first line. I like how it says that I have sufficient inherent strength to do all things.
Paul said in 2 Corinthians Chapter 12 when he prayed that the thorn in his flesh, his health problem, that God would heal and take away, God said to him my grace is sufficient for you. He doesn't have to take anything away. He doesn't have to change a thing. His grace is sufficient. And He is continually empowering me to do all things, to go hungry or to be full, to be made low or to abound.
Philippians 4:21 - Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.
Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. Salute means to greet. ASPADZO is the Greek word for greeting. He's commanding them. Greet all the saints for us. Concerning the community in Rome, he says the brethren which are with me, they greet you.
Philippians 4:23 - The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
It's literally the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with you all. Amen. Notice the word "be" is in italics. It was added into the translation. It is stating a fact. The grace of our Lord is with every one of you. In other letters he said the grace of our Lord is with your spirit.
This is all I have to share from Philippians. I am almost ready to start posting on Colossians. Blessings to you all in Christ!
Philippians 4:9 - Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Those things, which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do:
That's pretty authoritative! The word do is the word PRASETTE which means practice, not just do it (POIEO), but practice. It's a Present Imperative. Continue to practice going down the road that I've gone, both in what you have learned and received, and heard and seen in me Paul says.
The consequence, and again, it's a promise: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Philippians 4:10 - But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
He says, but I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, and we know what the word rejoiced means. He was celebrating the satisfaction in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me has flourished again;
The word care is PHRONEO, your frame of mind. Your frame of mind is set back on me again wherein you were also careful, but you lacked opportunity. He's talking about this gift of finances that Epaphroditus brought. He says before, you didn't have opportunity. But I'm celebrating in the Lord that now your care of me has flourished again. You would have before, but you lacked opportunity.
Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Now that you know what rejoice means from a Greek context, he says be continuously satisfied in the Lord: and again I will continue to say, be satisfied in the Lord.
Philippians 4:5 - Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is near. Some English texts, instead of moderation, they say gentleness. But there's a big difference between gentleness and moderation. The Greek word literally means to withdraw. If you put that in context, he is saying let your reputation among people be that you withdraw from the material things of the world, not indulge.
Philippians 4:6 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
The word careful is the word MERIMNAO which is the Greek word for anxiety, the Greek word for worry. And basically, in summary, it means the occupation of the attention of your mind. Not the occupation of the mind, but the occupation of the attention of the mind.
Philippians 4:7 - And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
The word keep is the word guard. The peace of God guards our hearts and minds in His peace, knowing that we've given it to Him and He's going to take care of it His way.
Apostle Paul could not trust his kinsmen or people that spoke the word twisted. They sound and look holy .
2 Corinthians 11:13
For such arefalseapostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
Apostle Paul had friends that betrayed him.
2 Corinthians 11:26

Galatians 2:4
And that because offalsebrethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
Be careful of Satan. UFO looks beautiful in the sky's and now the news talks about it.
2 Corinthians 11:14
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into anangeloflight.
We must be careful for the ones closest to us that may be deceiving us with the twisted word.
Philippians 4:6

Philippians 3:20 - For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
For our conversation is in heaven. The word conversation is the word citizenship. It's actually from the Greek word Politics (POLITEUMA). Our politics is in heaven, from where we also look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Philippians 4:1 - Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
Concerning affection, Paul says therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown. Again, the word joy has to do with satisfaction. He says you are my satisfaction. They are also his crown. The people that he's ministering to, that is his reward when he gets to heaven. So, he shares his affection. He says my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and my crown, and concerning his command, he says so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved. Stand fast is to stand firm. That is the believer's position. Once you have received Christ, the bible tells us stand firm in Christ.
Ephesians Chapter 6 talks about putting on the whole armor of God so that you will be able to stand and resist the attacks of the devil. Nowhere in the bible does it say that we are supposed to fight him. He's already been defeated. That's part of his scheme to keep us busy and fighting him. Stand in the Lord. Stand in the Lord's truth.
Philippians 4:2 - I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
Beseech means to appeal. I appeal to Euodias, and I appeal to Syntyche. These are two women in the church at Philippi. And his instruction is that they be of the same mind in the Lord. Here's our term PHRONEO for frame, that they be of the same frame of mind or attitude in the Lord. It doesn't mean to have the same thoughts, but it's the disposition or the frame of mind, the approach to this life.

David Allen, I truly believe you are a very caring person, may God strengthen you and also bless you're family in the Lord Jesus Christ . It only takes one person for the Lord God in Heaven will answer a prayer and I believe it's you. I still will continue to pray for you because it touched my heart.

Be blessed.
God bless,

Chapter 2

Rejoice ( Philippians 4:4).
Does God heal today ? ?

Ray, in Christ Jesus 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
He says, but I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, and we know what the word rejoiced means. He was celebrating the satisfaction in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me has flourished again;
2 Corinthians 11:13
