17Then Eli answered, and said, Goe in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition, that thou hast asked of him.
18And she said, Let thine handmaid finde grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eate, and her countenance was no more sad.
It is impossible to leave God's presence sad. When she entered his presence,

That's why we trust God. that this word will reach the hearts of men and women
who have difficult people in their lives - people who provoke them, make them cry, make them lose their appetite, even fall into depression.

4 The vowes of the mightie men are broken, and they that stumbled are girt with strength.
Hannah is not giving up a sad little boy. The offering is being given with joy, with rejoicing.
5 They that were full, haue hired out themselues for bread: and they that were hungry, ceased: so that the barren hath borne seuen, and she that hath many children, is waxed feeble.
But those who saw themselves as small - He makes them strong. but those who were hungry are now satisfied.
6 The Lord killeth and maketh aliue, he bringeth downe to the graue, and bringeth vp.
7 The Lord maketh poore, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth vp.
8 He raiseth vp the poore out of the dust, and lifteth vp the begger from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lords, and hee hath set the world vpon them.
9 He will keepe the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall bee silent in darkenesse; for by strength shall no man preuaile.
10 The aduersaries of the Lord shalbe broken to pieces: out of heauen shal he thunder vpon them: the Lord shall iudge the ends of the earth, and he shal giue strength vnto his king, and exalt the horne of his Anointed.
She was already speaking of the future, prophetically in the middle of the prayer. He will give power to his king. And he will give victory to this king whom he has chosen.
The enemies of God, the Lord, will be destroyed. He will thunder against them from heaven.
The Lord will judge the whole world.
He will give power to his king. And he will give victory to this king he has chosen He's talking about Jesus.
11 And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house, and the child did minister vnto the Lord before Eli the Priest.

Then the Lord God filled my heart with joy and, because of what he has done, I walk with my head held high. Here, Hannah is talking about laughing at her enemies ( Philippians 4:4).
It is not written that Hannah said: "Penina, look at my Samuel - now I have a baby".
Hannah didn't seem to have that characteristic.
She's saying something more like:
"My God. I used to believe all those things the enemy said about me I was so naive, wasn't I?
All I had to do was pray.
All I had to do was surrender myself in the presence of the Almighty!"
"And there I was... giving weight to what my enemies said."
But now she says:
"I laughed. I'm laughing at my enemies. I feel very happy, because God has helped me!"
"No one is holy like the Lord. There is no other God but him. There is no rock like our God."
Hannah says:
"But look, don't take advantage. Don't speak with proud words.
What is Hannah saying?
"Now let's see, Peninnah. See if you can still laugh in my face".
Or make a prayer of misplaced adoration.
What is misplaced worship?
It's when we share our blessings using arrogant words.
I have nothing against songs that talk about blessings,
but the real issue is the intention of the heart - how we sing, why we sing and to whom we sing. Do you know what I mean.
19 And they rose vp in the morning early, and worshipped before the Lord, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knewe Hannah his wife, and the Lord remembred her.
20 Wherefore it came to passe when the time was come about, after Hannah had conceiued, that shee bare a sonne, and called his name Samuel, saying; Because I haue asked him of the Lord.
21 And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went vp to offer vnto the Lord the yeerely sacrifice, and his vowe.
22 But Hannah went not vp; for shee said vnto her husband, I will not goe vp vntill the childe be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appeare before the Lord, and there abide for euer.
23 And Elkanah her husband said vnto her, Do what seemeth thee good, tary vntill thou haue weaned him, only the Lord establish his word: so the woman abode, and gaue her sonne sucke vntill she weaned him.
24 And when shee had weaned him, shee tooke him vp with her, with three bullocks, and one Ephah of floure, and a bottle of wine, and brought him vnto the house of the Lord in Shiloh: and the childe was young.
25 And they slew a bullocke, and brought the childe to Eli.
26 And she said, Oh my lord, as thy soule liueth, my lord, I am the woman, that stood by thee heere, praying vnto the Lord.
27 For this childe I prayed, and the Lord hath giuen me my petition, which I asked of him:
28 Therefore also I haue lent him to the Lord as long as hee liueth, he shall be lent to the Lord. And he worshipped the Lord there.
