there has been controversy about the offsprings of the marriage between sons of god and daughters of men. People concluded too soon that the offsprings were giants. This is misinterpretation. According to gen.6 there were giants in those days and the offsprings were mighty men. Might is not measurable through muscles. An intelligent man can also be regarded as mighty. Therefore,these mighty men were those whose wisdom was like that of god. They had the intellectual capability to unravel mysteries. They were the great thinkers of old,and not necessarily giants.

Everyone who claims to FULLY understand all of the bible stories is a liar and is not seeking TRUTH or peace. Whatever God literally is, He is so far greater than our minds can comprehend. We NEED to seek first the kingdoms (government, order & organization of how the things of God work) and all the rest shall be given, we don't NEED to claim to know how old the whole earth is, or wether or not there were other beings or what those beings actually were, we just need to absorb the general "way things work" and understand the way God runs His kingdom. Details are unnecessary and cause strife. We get distracted & cause doubt. It's not what Jesus told us to do.

I truly believe in the word of God as it is written!! If one is truly saved by the grace of our Lord and Savior JESUS Christ all word that is inspired of God will be revealed in a timely manner to that individual without some else's interpretation through the Comforter who is the Holy Ghost! These things that occurred many a year ago shows that God perfection and his absolute as the supreme ruler of the universe that he spoke into existence. also, his determination to preserve the purity of the jewish linage of Christ maternal side(earthy)by eradicating the fallen ones goal of contaminating his jewish heritage .

I love Any part of the Bible I believe in the word . I also believe every part of the Bible is great.

So much error has been caused by the mishandling of these scriptures. Honestly, it is this passage that is my litmus test when discerning if someone has read and understood the Bible. The Nephilim were the children of angels and humans. The Demi-Gods of Crete. It's like the whole world has amnesia. Look at Egypt! How can you understand the Bible at all if you do not understand the wars of the old testament, the genealogies,the dna mixing of beasts with men, which is coming again better check out the trans humanism movement. As in the days of Noah....

To discern God’s word one must get to know his creation here on earth in one’s own sphere of existence. Genesis says so much and discerning his creation and Noah’s flood to remove the wickedness of man by removing wickedness of life outside the ark. Satan and his band of rogue angels are pestering God and looking for a fight with a big reward at the end. Spirits (angels) jealous of men of flesh and blood come on! A reasoning body of flesh and spirited soul can figure out what is going on. Giants and evil demons and devils in those days thanks to the daughters of men (not really helpmates) and fallen angels would have ended man in short order. God’s word is for man not angels, demons, giants, lost cause hybrids.

I am stuck on the effects and consequence of the daughters of men and fallen angels of having intercourse pushing aside men has on life today. I see Noah’s flood a consequence. The death of giants has brought us demons and devils. I am trying to see the real picture.

And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.*** This is contrary to Genesis 1:31

a day is not a thousand years a day is a day.If god made flowers one day and not bees for a thousand years later the flowers would be dead . god made the worls in 6 litteral days!!!!!!

Then how do you account for the Nephilim and subsequently the sons of Anak and the report that the spies gave about their actual size on the Canaan border? SO yea, I do believe they were come to seek the pleasures of the world. Look also at the book of Jude, where it talks about how the Angels that left their post and created a great sin are locked up in the outer darkness. Or the area of weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Because he said that, and it came to pass, when men began to multiply on a face of the earth.

Do not doubt the word of God, the spirit beings were angels who came to seek the pleasures of the world, and God shall judge them in the end.

Why were there no restrooms in the ark? Why all the men entered the ark first?

1. Man’s insight is no insight when it comes to God's holy word ( Matthew 22:29);
2. Jesus is the son of man and this title is used by the Jews only;
3. The scriptures make reference to Jesus as the son of man about 80 times;
4. This reference by the Jews connects Jesus to his human nature and lineage to King David;
5. Son of God is mostly a New Testament church age title connecting Jesus to his divine nature as God manifested in the flesh ( John 1:14);
6. Sons of God in Old Testament is in reference to the devil and his fallen angels (Job:1:6; 2:1; Genesis 6:2);
7. The sons of God in the New Testament refers to born again believers in Jesus Christ ( John 1:12; Romans 8:14);
8. Do not confuse son of God with sons of God, they are 2 different groups of beings;
9. Please, remember that the bible always interprets itself and honestly and using scriptures to make your point will validate your point ( 2 Timothy 3:16).

Angels are called Sons of God. Look at the opening account of the book of Job verse 6! "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them." King James Version.

First of all, in heaven there is no marriage or anyone giving in marriage. “Sons of God” doesn't hold the same meaning as Son of God. Sons of God is referring to Man of God, someone who follows the word, here these men marred women of the world. The giants represents men of authority, this is about those who use the word for personal gain.

Ronald Allen's comment make sense to me, I think maybe God is in the process of withdrawing his spirit from this world at this time, a day is as a thousand years, so we may be in the latter part of the last day. I think it is getting late for everyone.

Beings from the spiritual world? Could these spirits beings be those whom God was talking to when he said "let US make man", "in OUR image"? Took earth women for their wives....God said "My spirit must not forever be disgraced in man who is evil, I will give him 120 years to mend his ways." Then evil beings from the spirit world were with human women and produced giants. When God saw the wickedness and where it was headed sad that he was he destroyed every living breathing thing on earth except Noah and his dependants plus two of everything else. Are these beings angels? Were they angels? And did they become the fallen angels, Satan and his followers/demons? I don't remember this lesson in Sunday school or Bible study class. Were they all destroyed in the flood or just their wives and subsequent giant offspring? Lord help me to understand your word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

all God word is true.dont let no one fool you that the word of god is not true.In the first chapter of genesis proves,the lord was in the beginning.My God said their is no other God.If you are breathing tell me its not a God.It is a powerful God almighty who lives today in our spirits as we surrender to him.He already no some will not follow him.I pleat with you he lives today,because he live within my soul.

Speaking of Creation versus evolution, considering time, they are only making intelligent guesses. Not all science believes in that theory.

Angels are ministering spirits. They are never called as sons of God in the Holy Scriptures. Angels can not reproduce. So sons of God and daughters of men are Godly and ungodly people only.

Angels can not reproduce, even when they were cast down from heaven. The only instance that angels reproduce is in Genesis 6, when they were coupling with women, and then produced giants. All such giants died in the floods of Noah.
But by themselves, angels never reproduce.

Am I wrong in thinking that Angels can not reproduce. However, is it being said that when they were kicked out of heaven, did they regain this ability to reproduce?

The Bible is clear on its say, angels were the fellows watchers, the sons of GOD in which they took wives and bore the nephilims the hybrid babies.

Andre, actually, in the scientific method, a group of hypothesis that are verified and supported by a series of repeated tests will only then become a theory, which is a generally accepted explanation of natural phenomena and is considered fact. I think you have this confused with the non-scientific explanation which is an unproven assumption, even though it is based on logic. For example, Einstein's theory of Relativity was only a hypothesis until it was proven to be accurate after multiple experiments were performed to verify its accuracy, at which time it became an accepted scientific theory. The theory of Evolution is a "scientific theory" because it has been proven time and time again to be a valid explanation for the development of life on this planet. It is supported by the fossil record and has been verified by the decoding of the genome.

We respect your adhesion to the theory of evolution. And that takes will to do so, because Evolution is just a theory, an assumption that still needs to be proved; unlike gravity which is law.
A law very much differs from a theory, because a law is proved, acted with, and leads to expected results, depending orientation taken, .. it can be calculated with, but not a theory. A theory works in some instances and not in others, so it cannot be fully trusted.

Clint - not only do I subscribe to the "theory" of evolution, but also to the theory of gravity and the germ theory of disease. I suggest you do a little research on what the definition of the word theory is. Evolution, like all scientific theories, is the result of smart people figuring things out. Hopefully, religious extremism won't gain a foothold on the mainstream in this country (like it has in other countries).

God created all things; the fossils are from before the flood. Satan and science want to deceive the world with big bang theory and evolution and millions of years and fossil records! God has told us what He did and don’t add anything to it, He warns us about adding or taking away from THE WORD!! I suggest you go to ICR (Institute for Creation Research) and investigate for yourself there is no proof at all for evolution, none at all! It’s still a theory, never proved.
