Glenda, I agree with you that God gave specific instructions on how he wanted the ark of the covenant designed to reflect darkly his throne on earth. Our Lord 's pray "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven ". When he shall bring us to that glorious day in Revelations through his almighty power after all is said and done Jehovah will have delivered us to Rev. 22:1, 2 which says, "then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb v2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations ". God bless us all and in the understanding of his Word. Praise Jehovah in the highest through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen!

This chapter is like a test? To see if we will hearken unto the instruction? I found myself squirming and wanting to skip, but inside I knew I shouldn 't! So I 'm now worki g through and taking notes and separating the utensils and such... It 's actually....I recommend forcing yourself to do it.... I 'm trying now to figure out what the parts of the candlestick branches are!

Although offerings were apart of the mosaic law, this scripture highlights that they were given freely, and not necessarily out of compulsion. As the bible states God loves a cheerful giver. This encourages me to give freely of my time and self in my service to my God Jehovah.

I LOVE IT. If we look at the symbolism of the items mentioned, the uses and placing thereof, the Bible comes alive All Over Again. Offerings given WILLINGLY, giving our Talents that He gave in order to serve in His kindom. Revelations says testimony, which is the testimony of Jesus. Silver is all things, gold paves the streets of New Jerusalen, brass is work of our hands. Colours represent obedience to the law of God, wearing it in fine linen. Goat hair represent people and our original sin , red ram can be The blood of the Lamb that was slain. One Armor of God in spiritual warfare is breastplate of righteousness, to guard our hearts with precious stones. God dwells in our HEARTS, HIS SANCTUARY.Unleavened bread, His unfermented word, food for our souls, to be taken un gold utensils,because it is also precious. Mercy Seat of God,His eyes always looking to FORGIVE US. And HIS SEVEN LIGHT TO SHINE against it lampstand sothat there are NO SHADOWS from it. God 's ways are far above those of the worlds. Glory to Him Forever! AMEN.

God is wonderful

Here is revealed the sanctuary of the new covenant. The sanctuary of the first covenant was PITCHED BY MAN, built by Moses; this one is pitched by the LORD, not by man. In that sanctuary the earthly priests performed their service; in this, CHRIST, our GREAT HIGH PRIEST, ministers at GOD's right hand. One sanctuary was on the earth, the other is IN HEAVEN. Further, the tabernacle built by Moses was made after a pattern. The Lord directed him: “According to all that I show thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it”. And again the charge was given, “Look that thou make them after their pattern, which was showed thee in the mount”, Exodus 25:9, 40. And Paul says that the first tabernacle “was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices”; that its holy places were “patterns of things in the heavens”; that the priests who offered gifts according to the law served “unto the example and shadow of heavenly things”, and that “Christ is NOT entered in the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heavenly itself, now to APPEAR IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD FOR US”, Hebrews 9:9, 23; 8:5; 9:24.

I think that this particular chapter is great because with it we can get a mental picture of what the ark of the covenant looked like. I think its curious that God instructs his followers to build statues after telling them a while earlier not to make statues.

I think exodus is very helpful to me because finding faith is work and work without faith is nothing
