Do Not take away or add to the word of god. If the bible says ( Baptize ) it means Baptize. BIBLE VERSES ABOUT WATER BAPTISM Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be ( baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,) and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 1 Peter 3:21Mark 16:16Acts 22:16 and this scripture explains this very clearly! John 3:5 "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,( Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. ) Romans 6:4 - Therefore we are ( buried with him by baptism into death:) that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Galatians 3:27Acts 10:48Matthew 28:19Acts 10:48Matthew 3:16Acts 8:36-39 ( And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain ( water:) and the eunuch said, See, here is ( water;) what doth hinder me to be baptized? Gods word says Baptize it means baptize ( there is no scripture that NULLIFYS WATER BAPTISM ) Further more ( Revelation 22:19
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. God has a plan for salvation and we have no right to change it by our interpretation of the word 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: These are not my word, they are scripture By Which we as CHRISTIANS must live by. I submit this in the love of Jesus and the hope of seeing his will, that NO MAN SHOULD PARRISH !
Read the comment listed prior to this one as it does list a few named in the Bible. The greatest false prophet of all in the Bible that's still around today is the anti-Christ. He hasn't revealed himself yet but the power behind him is satan.
There are some others in the New Testament the same:
My take on that is this. when you die your soul goes to be with the Lore, " to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Your body is in the ground, i believe since the body belongs to a saved person, it leaves first, the dead in Christ rise first, then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up with them in the clouds.. I think the Lord want the bodies of the saved believers out of this world before the Antichrist takes over. I think he will put the molecules back together and match it back to the soul.
"11 - And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 - For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:'
The Evangelists mentioned in the above verses are persons that God uses to preach His Word to people.
Philip was an evangelist.
Acts 21:8
"And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of PHILIP THE EVAGELIST which was one of the seven; and abode with him."
We know the story how he went to Samaria and preached the Gospel to Samaritans.
Acts 8:5-8 & Acts 8:40
"5. Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
6. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
7. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
8. And there was great joy in that city.
40. But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea."
That is how an evangelist works in God's work.
This ministry involves specific persons (male) that God uses to bring His word to masses of people. And how it is proved that they have the specific spiritual gift? Mainly from the results their ministry has. It is Important that God testifies their word. In the case of Philip the whole city believed his preaching and got baptised.
That is completely different from what we use to call an evangelist nowadays. We simply call evangelist someone who talks to people, usually one at a time,, about Jesus Christ. Those, men and women, are actually evangelists since they bring the Good News of God's salvation to people. But they are not the specific ministry that God uses in His church to evangelize whole towns.
Matthew 12:40 says " For as Jonas was three days and three nights In the whale's belly so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth"
That comes to a full 72 hours not 36. Not sure I your math was off accidentally or purposefully.
For all this business of a person having to know that Christ did do this and all the suffering that he went through is a bit heavy. Yes a person needs to know that Jesus bore his/her sins on the cross, died and was buried, then on the third day he rose conquering death and hell. But the simple fact is that it isn't required to know this.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life"
Jesus hasn't been to the cross and here he is telling Nicodemus how to be saved...without the knowledge of what Jesus will go through.
Take Phillip and the eunuch in Acts 8:26-40. Yes the eunuch was reading in Isaiah 53:7 concerning the prophecy of Christ having to endure the suffering and death of the cross but when the eunuch saw water he asked. "See here is water. what doth hinder me to be baptized? and Phillip said, if thou believest with all think heart thou mayest. And he answered and said I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Acts 8:36-37
Acts 16:23-34 tells of the time Paul and Silas we're in Philippi, arrested and beaten with whips and thrown into prison with the jailer given orders to keep them safely. We learn that en earthquake cames and broke the foundation of the prison, with the doors opened and their bands loosed. The jailer came out and thinking his prisoners escaped was about to kill himself. Paul cries out for him to not do so.
Bringing us to verse 30, "And brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
And they said, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and they house."
That's just 2 passages showing the simplicity of salvation.
Wisemen still seek him - In Reply on Acts 8 - 4 years ago
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever , where is that verse in Book of Hebrews Im sure . So he walked the earth as a man and must still be one . although glorified .
The believers that has departed the Earth prior to Christ coming is with the Lord.
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:8.
Philippians 1:23.
The Lord will bring them, and those raptured at his second coming.
Right after the marriage supper of the Lamb we are presented with Christ's "VISIBLE" return to this earth to execute judgment, put down evil, and set up His kingdom. He returns "with his saints.
1 Thessalonians 3:13.
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
The first coming of Christ was his ministry IN THE FLESH, three and a half years, on earth in the flesh.
His SECOND COMING is SPIRIT, you cannot see SPIRIT, it comes like a thief in the night.
At pentecost Christ POURED OUT his Spirit on mankind.
Christ, in the form of the Holy Ghost, now lives inside you, you are the BODY OF GOD, Christ is THE LIFE in YOU.
Colossians 1:27 ....this mystery ....Christ in you ......
Philippians 2:13 For it is GOD (Christ in you) that WORKETH IN YOU (the body) both TO WILL and TO DO HIS (the life's) good pleasure.
PROPHECY:
Ezekiel 36:27 And I will put my Spirit (life and truth) within you, and CAUSE you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgements, and DO THEM.
I would to know concerning the rapture,at the coming of Jesus those who have fallen in jesus will rised first and those who are believers still alive will be caught with Him in the air. My question is,where is the resting place for the believers who have departed this earth?
The word creed comes from the Latin credo, "I believe." a set of beliefs of Christianity, and without believing these creeds salvation cannot be obtained. I have been told this in different denominations of churches I have gone to. "You cannot be a Christian unless you believe these creeds". Many Christian bible discussion web sites will not let you on unless you profess these creeds.
My understanding of scripture.
You must believe that God exists. Hebrews 11:6
You must believe Jesus is the only begotten Son of God.,18 6:40; 1 John 4:14-15, 5:5, 5:10
You must believe God gave His only Son for us to have eternal life John 3:16
You must believe Jesus came in the flesh 1 John 4:32 John 1:7
You must believe that Jesus is the Christ 1 John 2:22
You must believe Jesus died for Your sins. 1 Corinthians 15:2-3
You must believe God raised Jesus from the dead. Romans 10:9
You must believe we are saved by Jesus' life Romans 5:10
Being baptized in the name of Jesus. Acts 2:38Acts 8:16
You must believe we are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus 1 Corinthians 6:11
You must believe we obtain salvation only in Christ Jesus. John 14:6 2 Acts 4:12 Timothy 2:10
Are there any scriptures saying you must believe in these creeds for salvation?
Are these creeds similar to what the sect of Pharisees tried to do in Acts 15? What did Peter say? Acts 15:7-11
God is not the author of confusion. 1 Corinthians 14:33
And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
Acts 8:2
And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.
Luke 23:46
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my SPIRIT: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
Mishael: these are other scriptures that show awareness of the spirit in Jesus, and those that are born again.
The fleshly body Sleeps, wherever it fell dead, or was buried. The born again to heaven someday.
The unsaved, wicked dead to judgement one day.
When you Google this, be sure you are not on a Catholic doctrine website. The King James Bible which was canonized is the standard for being born again. See the Book of John. I write this in love and concern for all of Gods people.
Thank you Richard for your further comments. As you have given Acts 2:37,38 & Acts 8:36,37 in support of 'regenerational baptism', one could also share Acts 3:19, 1 Corinthians 1:17, and Acts 10:44-48, in support of a non-regenerational baptism. The act of water baptism for believers in the Scriptures is never trivialized, but to make it a requirement for salvation, serious questions & arguments can be raised. If Peter could say that repentance & baptism was necessary for salvation, then he ought to have said so again in Acts 3:19, as what he said there ("Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out"), would be false, for water baptism must be mentioned as an 'essential' for the blotting out of sins.
As well, we could think of the many each day that might be turning to Christ, whether in prison, in hospital, in calamities of wars & earthquakes, even on their death bed, with no opportunity to have someone baptize them. What happens here? Have they responded to the Spirit in error & failed of God's Grace by not being baptized & maybe soon to face eternity? And we certainly can't make exceptions to such folk, since 'no baptism = no salvation'.
Water baptism, I understand from reading the Scriptures, was an event that took place very soon after a soul acknowledged his sin & turned to Jesus; in other words, repentance & baptism were almost a single event - if you turned to Christ you immediately were baptized by the preacher/witnessor; the convert expected to be 'dunked' as a witness of his new life. Unfortunately, that baptismal prototype has since deteriorated over the ages, some even using sprinkling & infant baptism as valid forms of it. Much more could be written on this subject, but will leave it for now since our approaches to it & understanding of the Scriptures are seriously divergent.
This I give for you to think upon, If what you believe is correct, Then we have to believe that Acts 2:38 Should be removed from the Bible, and discount the answer that Peter gave to the question in Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? I concur that you must believe with all of your heart Just as we see That God sent Philip in acts 8:29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. this is Gods Answer to eunuch, And again I give you scripture, Not my opinion Acts 2:34 Thru 38
34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?
35Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
36And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
38And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. So, If what you say is true we must discount this also. Gods Word is true and we must believe the whole word, If we start picking apart Gods word to fit our own Idea then we have made Gods word of no affect and a lie.
Remember that peter had the keys Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent,( and be baptized every one of you ) in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. I'll be praying for you, you seem to be sincere and I pray God shines his light in your heart . please rememder I do not give my own opinion, Just Gods word
I think if you trace out commentaries on Judas in the Gospels and Acts you get the answers to both of your questions.
The set of scriptures that speak about Judas before he committed himself to betray Jesus are: Mark 3:13-19, Luke 6:13-16, John 6:61-71
The event that triggered Judas to act on his decision to betray Jesus: Matthew 26:6-16, Mark 14:3-11, John 12:3-8
Judas identified as betrayer at the last supper: Matthew 26:20-25, Mark 14:17-21, Luke 22:21-22, John 13:18-31
Once his betrayal was set in motion: John 17:9-12
At the betrayal: Matthew 26:45-50, Mark 14:40-46, Luke 22:45-48, John 18:1-9
After completing his betrayal: Matthew 27:3-10, Acts 1:16 and Acts 1:20
We must acknowledge Jn 2:24-25 was true of Christ before He chose any of His disciples. He was never deceived by anyone that temporarily followed him but fell away, including Judas, John 6:64. No prophet had been in Israel for centuries, so Christ alone had this ability when He came until Pentacost. After Pentacost the hearts of certain individuals could be revealed by Christ's Spirit to born again believers that are specially given that gift, such as Peter ( Acts 5:1-13, Acts 8:1-25) Note, Jusas, Ananias and Saphira, and Simon all had their hearts exposed as false thru their follies with money.
Judas was a disciple and he was broken off the vine, but he never had the fruit of the Holy Spirit and was never pronounced pruned/cleaned by the Father or Jesus. We know this because Judas was broken off by the Father before Jesus told the disciples they were pruned/cleaned branches abiding in Him, the true vine, who would bear fruit in John 15. Judas was marked unclean, he was never born again of the Spirit at Pentacost or made an Apostle for the great commission. He died a disciple without the fruitful presence of the Holy Spirit. He is proof that false fruitless brethren can be among us who depart 1 Jn 2:18-20, but not proof some are broken off by God who actually bear fruit by abiding in Jesus.
The Apostle Paul ( Romans 1:1), who was originally named Saul ( Acts 7:58) of Tarsus ( Acts 22:3), but eventually became known as Paul ( Acts 13:9), dictated the letter to Tertius ( Romans 16:22). The account of most of what is known about his life story was written about by Luke in the Book of Acts. Acts 7:58-60, Acts 8:1-4, Acts 9:1-31, Acts 11:25-30, Acts 12:24-25, Acts 13 to Acts 28.
The Apostle Paul is recognized as the author of most of the Epistles (Apostolic letters) in the New Testament, which include Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians. Ephesians. Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus and Philemon. Some also consider him the author of Hebrews, but the authorship of that book is not known for sure.
Hi "Ruth" all answer is right, a personal experience here, i did not know where i stood. I wandered here and there, and unfortunately i also followed the spirit of the times in this world, the antichrist.
Because since we that time still where "children", we have every right not to know everything, every right to ask, explore, learn and so on. We still do Everyday. 2 Thessalonians 1:12Acts 8:16
But when the Spirit in us awakens, we will no longer go around making mistakes. The Holy Spirit helps us if we let Him lead us where we do belongs. Namely with God in our Spirit where we can find strength, courage and forgiveness Spirit and the Spirit of love. And everything else good is there.
That Spirit makes us living Sources who speak right and do right because we believe in Jesus Christ Is the Son of God. Nor will the Holy Spirit ever stop and give us words in our mouths to preach about Jesus Christ. John 7:38
So when i walked around there in the dark before God found me. I did not have this Source because i was not filled with the Holy Spirit.
But here we come to something central and important. All God gives us is Grace over Grace. Because when i look back on my life without Him and my life with Him, i understand that i have been under Grace because He has been with me from the first day of my life.
Because when we are lost or confused, we can not even say the Lord Jesus name. Only if we are in the Holy Spirit can we say that.
1 Corinthians 12:3
At this stage i am also comforted since He has been so gracious to me. I want to believe that He is just as gracious with everyone else. When we can not say Jesus Christ from our mouths if we are not in the Holy Spirit. So i hear people say Jesus Christ with their mouths, is not it a confession in a way? Therefore, i attribute these people to the Lord. And He saves them to Himself after His will, i'm moving on. Hallelujah the Lord is near. Acts 8-9 Chapter. God bless us in Jesus Christ.
It's simple to get saved, but the process of sanctification is hard. Before I elaborate, I assume you're referring how a sodomite can get saved; "gay" biblically means cheerful, "sodomy/sodomite" means those who practice same sex fornication.
You meet God in his own terms:
1.) You have to be in a broken and contrite state.
Psalms 51:17 "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise."
2.) You call upon Jesus to save you.
Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
3.) Put your faith in the Lord. (Take note that the eunuch called upon the Lord, he didn't just believe his way to salvation)
Acts 8:37 "And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."
If you followed these steps, then you are saved; you will have assurance of your salvation as it'll come through chastening, if you don't have any chastening in your life, then you're not saved.
Hebrews 12:7
"If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?"
Hallo dear "Ryan". God is Spirit as u know. This day i read in peace from Acts 8:33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.
34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?
35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
Amen.
How quickly things can happen when we turn too the Lord, He delivers whoever it may be. Be blessed in His Holy Name Jesus Christ and have a very merry Christmas with Him that understand everything.
I agree that quarrelling should be avoided and its best to avoid any "I'm right/you're wrong" discussions, however, there is only one truth. If something is publicly posted that is not truth and might lead someone else to stumble there is an obligation for believers to gently share the truth, in attempt to reverse the damage done.
So, you wrote: "its not a requirement for spiritual baptism."
But Jesus said: " John 3:5, Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."
"water and of the Spirit"
Not just Spirit.
"cannot enter into the kingdom of God"
And God's Word in Acts 2:38 says: "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
"be baptized"
But who, surely not me?
"every one of you"
But there's more scripture: Mark 16:16 - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Acts 22:16 - And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Matthew 28:19 - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Acts 10:48 - And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
Acts 8:36-39 - And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
So, if I'm honest with myself, even if I didn't want to be baptized or was taught it wasn't necessary, or was embarrassed, or had any other reasons for not wanting to obey, it would be a very tough sell to read all these verses saying to be baptized and instead claim that we should NOT be baptized.
How to be free from Oppression - In Reply - 4 years ago
What you're dealing with is demonic. Unbelievers don't know they've been taken hostage.
Believers know they've been snared. The Holy Spirit is the only one who can break the ties that bind us. We pray and ask for HELP to break the bonds and be freed. We do that by depending upon what Jesus did on the Cross to set us free. He paid in blood. Satan nor demons have AUTHORITY to cross that blood and take a Christian captive. Whom the Son sets free, is free Indeed.
Faith in Christ stands up and takes that authority back! Ephesians 6. The Helmet of Salvation. Start pleading the blood of Jesus when THE TEMPTER shows up. The more scripture you know__the more ammo you have to shoot back at the evil. Read about Jesus 40 day fast after his baptism. "IT IS WRITTEN_____ " you fill in that blank with a verse, like He did. It absolutely works. We're weak often because we fill our minds with television, novels and video games.

Now let us look at a few more scriptures people like to use on the subject, water baptism a requirement for salvation.
Another in Acts 8:35-38.
Vs 35: Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, AND PREACHED UNTO HIM JESUS.
Philip preached the gospel according to those scriptures!!
"Same as paul."
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
AND THAT HE WAS BURIED, AND THAT HE ROSE AGAIN THE THIRD DAY, according to the scriptures:
Vs 36-37. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? Did you notice the eunuch asked for the water baptism, Philip didn't require it.
NOTICE VERSE 37.
And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Believest what? THE GOSPEL THAT HE PREACHED!
And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, AND PREACH THE GOSPEL to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;.; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; ect: How are they baptized? BY BELEIVING! This is the baptism of the Holyspirit. That's why Jesus says: "And these signs shall follow them that believe;"
That is the question to be asked! it seems to be 2 arguments here.
Brother Chris gave a good sound take on this. I would like to add to it. First of all how many on the site have the Holyspirit? Did you receive him by the laying on of the hands or when you received Christ as savior? Perhaps this power was done by only the Apostles.
Should a believer be baptized? Yes I believe so. Is baptism a requirement for salvation? NO. And the scriptures presented doesn't say so. Baptism means to identify with. who does the water baptism? Who does the baptism of the Holyspirit? The lord himself. Who are we identifying with and what are we identifying with? Christ death and resurrection on the cross. When are you Identified with Christ? When you are water baptized are when you receive Christ as your savior? Its when you receive Christ as your savior. Water baptism is an outwardly profession of what you believe in.
Acts 8:14-117.
Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had "RECIEVED" the word of God,
PAUSE. See Mathew 13:23.
RESUME. ( they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:) PAUSE. Did Peter and John come down to water baptize them? No the next verse says they were already baptized. You see in water baptism doesn't slay the "old man". Romans 6:3-4.
NOTICE THE DISTINCTION.
( For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: "ONLY" they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. There is 2 baptisms shown here, and It doesn't sound like water baptism was required, if so what need of Peter and John?
John the baptist makes that distinction in Mathew 3:11. Johns baptism was a baptism of repentance. " to go from unbelief to belief. and when they believed they were put in the body of believers. "baptized by the Holyspirit.

Part 2 More baptism questions for today's water adherents:
9. "water" baptism of repentance:
c) Is this baptism "for today"? IF this baptism is For us Today, we have Several More Questions:
c1) Why does No one Today, "teach, as John ( Under The LAW! ), Claimed": it is For "making CHRIST Manifest To Israel" John 1:31?
c2) Why does {Almost} No one Today, "Confess their sins," when they come to water baptism Matthew 3:6Mark 1:5?
c3) Why do not ALL Divided "denominations who Water baptize" today, agree As ONE, And "teach" water as John, CHRIST, And The Twelve ( Under The LAW! ), "taught" That "water baptism Is For The Remission Of sins!" Mark 1:4Luke 3:3Acts 2:38 { instead of each one's own "symbolic Re-Interpreted Traditions!" }?
10. Baptism Of Anointing?: Pentecostal Spirit baptism; This is the baptism "WITH" The Holy Spirit, BY JESUS CHRIST, From Heaven, Poured Out Upon the believing remnant of Israel with signs and powers following. Isaiah 44:3Matthew 3:11Mark 1:8Mark 16:17-18Luke 24:49Acts 2:17-18Acts 2:38Acts 8:15-17 Acts 11:16.
And, is not This The THIRD Requirement For "priesthood induction" = Anointing? Compare Exodus 29:7Leviticus 8:10-12.
Is God Performing "This" Baptism On us TODAY? IF so, Why NO "signs and powers"?
Conclusion: IF any water adherent, today, Under GRACE, believes he/she has been water baptized into the 'Israeli priesthood,' is he/she Absolutely Sure he/she Has Met The other Two Requirements Of God? IF he/she has Not "met them," then does not The Following apply To us Today?:
God Superseded Two baptisms, Under Law, With ONE Baptism, Under GRACE! Link
Further Note: Paul, in Romans through Philemon, has No doctrine of 'priesthood' for The Body Of CHRIST, Under GRACE, Today, hmm...
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all of Judea, and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 1:8
Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.
Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part in me.
John 13:6-8
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Excepta man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
John 3:5
And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Phillip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
Acts 8:38
And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Phillip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
Acts 8:39
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.
Ephesians 5:26
Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
Acts 10:47
But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
John 19:34
This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
1 John 5:6
In that day shall the branch of the LORD ne beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even ecery one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
There are some others in the New Testament the same:
Elymas ( Acts 13:6-12)
Simon Magus ( Acts 8:9-24)
Your body is in the ground, i believe since the body belongs to a saved person, it leaves first, the dead in Christ rise first, then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up with them in the clouds.. I think the Lord want the bodies of the saved believers out of this world before the Antichrist takes over. I think he will put the molecules back together and match it back to the soul.
What is an evangelist?
Ephesians 4:11-12
"11 - And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

He is still a full human and fully God in one person. The Holy Spirit is not Jesus, nor is the Spirit the Father, nor is Jesus the Father.
Rather we worship a Godhead of three distinct Persons that are a union in one Being.
Revelation 1:7.
I hope this helps.
God bless.

God Bless You!
You must believe Jesus came in the flesh 1 John 4:3 2 John 1:7
You must believe that Jesus is the Christ 1 John 2:22
You must believe Jesus died for Your sins. 1 Corinthians 15:2-3
You must believe God raised Jesus from the dead. Romans 10:9
You must believe we are saved by Jesus' life Romans 5:10
Being baptized in the name of Jesus. Acts 2:38 Acts 8:16
God bless,

Romans 6:3, Mark 10:38,
Acts 8:12-17, Acts 11:16, Acts 19:1-5, Acts 2:38,
As well, we could think of the many each day that might be turning to Christ, whether in prison, in hospital, in calamities of wars & earthquakes, even on their death bed, with no opportunity to have someone baptize them.
Peter also speaks about Paul in 2 Peter 3:15-16.

Because since we that time still where "children", we have every right not to know everything, every right to ask, explore, learn and so on. We still do Everyday. 2 Thessalonians 1:12 Acts 8:16
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you're still confused, ask Jesus to show you the way to salvation, he'll give you wisdom.
James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."
John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
It's alright if you don't wish to respond to me, which ever the reasons may be. Please read: John 19:28, 1 Peter 1:20,

35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

FILL UP ON JESUS.

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
Hi Grace Ambassador.
"baptized by the Holyspirit.
see part 2 God bless.
9. "water" baptism of repentance:
c) Is this baptism "for today"? IF this baptism is For us Today, we have Several More Questions:
c1) Why does No one Today, "teach, as John ( Under The LAW! ), Claimed": it is For "making CHRIST Manifest To Israel" John 1:31?
c2) Why does {Almost} No one Today, "Confess their sins," when they come to water baptism Matthew 3:6 Mark 1:5?
c3) Why do not ALL Divided "denominations who Water baptize" today, agree As ONE, And "teach" water as John, CHRIST, And The Twelve ( Under The LAW! ), "taught" That "water baptism Is For The Remission Of sins!" Mark 1:4 Luke 3:3 Acts 2:38 { instead of each one's own "symbolic Re-Interpreted Traditions!" }?
10. Baptism Of Anointing?: Pentecostal Spirit baptism; This is the baptism "WITH" The Holy Spirit, BY JESUS CHRIST, From Heaven, Poured Out Upon the believing remnant of Israel with signs and powers following. Isaiah 44:3 Matthew 3:11 Mark 1:8 Mark 16:17-18 Luke 24:49 Acts 2:17-18 Acts 2:38 Acts 8:15-17 Acts 11:16.
And, is not This The THIRD Requirement For "priesthood induction" = Anointing? Compare Exodus 29:7 Leviticus 8:10-12.
