The word what so ever cuts across every human endeavor, it means our deeds out there should be with the mindset of serving God. many serve God only when they are in the fourwalls of church and turn to something else out there at workplace and home, but if they have this understanding that what ever they do is onto the lord they will live in the fear of the lord every where they Go, thank you.
it means that we should learn to do things the way they ought to be done (rightly); irrespective of who is watching us; in order words, we should not do thing because somebody is watching us, or because we want to gain favour from the person. and remember that your heavenly father who sees you would reward you in due time.
Husbands are to love..the other joint leadership role which requires lots of TLC.the two above roles when done according to the required specifications of the Manufacturer brings about the platform for the prenticeship role of obedience of children to parents. The fatherhood role that forbids provocation of a child is the last role which builds the character of the child and prepares the next generation for a family of their own..thus its imperative that these roles be observed with utmost diligence.
And verse nine--ye have put off the OLD man with his deeds. How??
Verse 10 And have put on the new man---How???
If you read Romans 6--it will tell you how!!!!
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4Therefore we are buried with him by BAPTISM
into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
