The recent post about the Shroud of Turin made me reflect on how we see and even interpret reality. The Shroud itself is a test, demanding that our brain decipher what is externally unknown.
This reminded me of a post I read recently about a biological fact: our vision begins "distorted." Biologically, the image projected onto our retina is unregulated and even upside-down. It is only when this chaotic information reaches the brain that it corrects and "reprograms" it, presenting us with a stable and coherent world.
This journey toward understanding led me down other paths. In my studies, I came across a story involving an indigenous tribe, the Aymara. Their language has characteristics that are likely related to the absence of "time technology." For them, the past is in front. They call the past nayra, which literally means "front" or "eyes." The future is behind. They call it qipa.
In the end, we do not see the world as it is, but as we are programmed to see it. The truth, whether scientific, historical, or spiritual, will always require us to look beyond our first impression, recognizing the filters.
The passage that inspires me about this subject is in ( Jeremiah 33:3).
How can they pluck "corn" when it was completely unknown in the Levant in Christ's time. It could not have been known until aprs Colombo in 1492 Anno Domini. It is not a quirk of translation, either. later visited my Mom told her what happened,she said 'What a time for you to say something like this,just had eye surgery, my one eye is now 20/20,and would of never have known how bad the other one was until i had something to compare it to'..

Do I require written permission from Cambridge University Press to include more than 500 verses (approximately 3,000+ words) of verbatim King James Bible text in a commercially sold book in the UK, given that the work is not a reprint of the entire Bible but a commentary containing quotations?

There's blessing and rewards based on performance and obedience, but holds absolutely no determining factor for getting into Heaven. Some will be left standing at the Bema judgment empty handed but still enter in because Christ paid it all, and they received it... Meanwhile, there's those who plead their many wonderful works done in the name of Christ at the Great White Throne judgement and end up in Hell. The object in which one places their faith is what makes the difference. Christ alone?.. or Him plus your supposed merit and bribes?
hey gigi: its me-Donna. I got a phone call this day. the new doctor that took over Arthur and he talked to me. He stated-that Arthur's body is pretty torn up, that is because of Drugs and all the issues his put his body through. that he is the new doctor for him and from now it will be him, then he stated to me that there is no assistant living that will allow Arthur in. because his a very sick person. His body is giving out on him, but his mind is still alive. that they the doctor states his going to be on Hospice care. dang I busted out crying and yelling if his in hospice care, I immediately yelled DO NOT GIVE HIM MORPHINE to kill him off, I could not listen any further without crying and yelling. My son is dying.
