The holy Ghost teaches that the horse-leach of Proverbs 30:15 Babylon and her young ones Samaria and Jerusalem see Eze 23 suck the blood doctrine of antichrist from the carcase of Lucifer s antichrist. We are reminded in verse 30 that Lucifer is the slayer of Babylon and her harlot daughters. The church of Babylon, her harlot daughters, the antichrist, and Lucifer are described as eagles in scripture. One of Lucifer s faces is an eagle as God says. there is he. Job 39:30 We were taught this in Job 20:16 that the viper 's tongue shall slay those that suck Babylonian doctrine. The viper is Lucifer a man. Why the differences in he or she? Wycliffe 1300 s he is present. Coverdale 1535 there is he immediatly. Bishop s 1568 there is he. AV1611 there is he. Douay Jesuit- Rheims 1610 she is present by and by. There is she makes no sense, the scripture cannot be broken. -According to F.H.A. Scrivener RV textual critic , the Hebrew word is masculine he -According to Gordon Campbell Author-Story of KJV the Hebrew word is masculine he and was changed to fit the context. Why the change? The scribes do not comprehend how God s Word sometimes does not match the contextual mind of men. This change was not authorized and destroys the meaning of countless prophecies in scripture.

I 'M GRATEFUL FOR GOD 'S WORD AT ANY TIME. I LOVE PROVERBS 3, ESPECIALLY VERSES 5-7. IN "EVERY " DECISION, ACKNOWLEDGE "GOD ". THAT MEANS TO INCLUDE "GOD " IN YOUR DECISION-MAKING. ASK "HIM " FIRST WHAT YOU SHOULD DO. WHAT SHOULD I DO GOD? TRUST HIS DIRECTION FOR YOU. ASK "HIM " FIRST. PUT YOUR "TRUST " IN "HIM ". STAND ON HIS WORD. HE LOVES YOU. AMEN.
  • Olanrewaju Morenikeji on Psalms 34:17 - 10 years ago
The Lord answers the righteous when he cries. It is required of the righteous to cry to God when he is in trouble having this assurance that Jehovah hears and He is there to save in trouble. A righteous man will suffer and die in his trouble if he does not cry to God. Hence we have this assurance that when we cry as a righteous person, God hears us and He is ever willing to rescue and deliver us from all troubles. Food for thought: What happens to the unrighteous?

I am having a hard time with this chapter. I 'd it possible that we are all looking for a meaning behind this chapter when there may not really be one? It is simply telling us what was going on at that time. However I dint understand why God would tell Moses to have all these people killed especially the children.
  • Pamela wright on Matthew 3 - 10 years ago
Was it Jewish tradition to baptism before Jesus? Why was John the Baptist baptizing before Jesus was crucified for us? What was the purpose? What was the connection with belief in Jesus or in loving God? Was John the Baptist the only one doing it? Was that the first appearance of The Holy Ghost? I was under the impression that The Holy Ghost is connected to the crucified Jesus. So, there is God, and the Son, and The Holy Ghost. All are God...in One...but different forms...in sequence???

I 'm so happy I read this chapter today. I recently saw my pastor handing money to someone in the church who I know needs a job. I was upset because this person happens to be picky about what kind of work they will accept. I was in need of a job in the past, but I took whatever legal job I could do to earn money to support myself and my family. I don 't absolutely completely love what I do because it can be really hard labor at times. I 'm wondering, If I could do this, why cant this able bodied person do the same thing? There are plenty of jobs open where I work, but ppl in need of work would rather go without money, I believe, simply because they don 't want to do hard labor, even though they need money desperately. Well, reading this chapter, and in particular, the following chapter 13 of 1 Corinthians especially about charity, made me feel much better about seeing my pastor giving money to someone in need. I don 't know why this able bodied person wont take a job so readily available. Only God knows that. But I am no longer upset, because in the next chapter God 's word clearly states that the greatest gift that we could have or do is Charity. When I realized my sin in being upset over, I asked God to forgive me and am now feeling much better and am also more willing to give to those in genuine need. Not to enable people to be lazy or whatever, but to give to help others and let God deal with those other issues in their lives. My job is to love and be charitable. Thank you for taking time to read my comment and my God richly bless you.

With reference to Martin 's question ... How can I get family friends and myself ready for our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ return with out offending anyone? Good for you Martin. Compassion for family, for you know what is is store. Keep hold of that compassion and you will not be an offence. For the scripture itself says that the Gospel will be the offence to those that are perishing. So you are only the vehicle. Give the message well and let the Spirit of God do the work.

  • Norine Williams on Habakkuk 1:5 - 10 years ago
Yes, Habakkuk 1:5 is being fulfilled today! The doctrine religion teaches today is far from the Word of God! I continue to ask ALL denominations "If the disciples were commanded to baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, why didn 't they do it? WERE THEY DISOBEDIENT? Why can 't I find "anyone " in Scripture doing it? Why did the apostles baptize in the name of the Lord Jesus after the establishment of the "original church in Acts 1 2? " Why do we not "...observe ALL things... " that the apostles did as commanded in Matthew 28:20? Why did they "Continue in the apostles ' doctrine " as stated in Acts 2:42? Which was not "the apostles ' doctrine " but the Holy Spirit 's JESUS ' Doctrine since He was "putting His laws in their mind, and writing them in their hearts! " Why? Because Habakkuk 1:5 is being fulfilled and all related Scriptures! Search the Scriptures! Jeremiah 31:31-33, Hebrews 8:10 10-16. "...put my laws in their mind, and in their hearts... " under the NEW Covenant John 14:26 "promised " the Comforter Holy Spirit which would "teach us all things " and came on the Day of Pentecost Acts 2:2 . Thereafter, the apostles baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus! Religion wishes to "cover up " truth in His Word by not searching Scripture or "rightly dividing the word " saying things like "They are all the same " although the Scriptures specifically "told us " to "Continue in the apostles ' doctrine " after the New Covenant and when the NEW Covenant was established in Acts 1 2! The Scripture says in Colossians 2:9 "For in HIM JESUS dwelleth ALL the fullness of the Godhead bodily. " Don 't they know the NAME JESUS completes the Father, Son and Holy Spirit based on this verse? These are not NAMES but GLORIES! His Name IS JESUS! However, most importantly, the Holy Spirit "promised " us a NEW Covenant in Jeremiah and Hebrews, John 14:26 "promised " us a Comforter Holy Spirit , and fulfilled those "promises " in Acts 2:2,which began "...putting His laws in their mind, and writing them in their hearts " which commanded the apostles to baptize in the name of the Lord Jesus! So why? Why do we do as "religion " has taught us rather than doing what the Holy Spirit "promised " and fulfilled? Habakkuk 1:5 and other related Scriptures are being fulfilled today! God Forbid!

The fact that we didn 't create ourselves tells us there is a creator who created all the things that man cannot create and that is God.life is a phase.no one came with anything and no one will go with anything.if we understand this then there will be no need for envy.also if we understand that we have a creator who has laid out rules which aren 't even evil to begin with then we will be free as we will be walking in truth.and His commands are summed up in one word "Love " cos love will never hurt.and we ought to love God by keeping his commands John 14:15 and giving him worship of which loving Our neighbor is also one of his command.and where will the wars come from if we live in love? I learnt something from all the comments above.
  • Darla on Psalms 83:18 - 10 years ago
We are known by our names, not what we are man woman . God isn 't his name, it is what he is. His name is Jehovah. When you know someone personally, you call them by their name. If I am in a crowd and yell "Mom ", no one knows who I am talking about. However, if I call her by her name, then they know. People have many "Gods ", even devil worshippers have one Satan . If I pray to God, does anyone know which God I am praying to? If I pray to Jehovah, they know.

How can Joshua be judged to have done all he was told to do when 11:22 clearly ends with the comment, "No Anakites were left ... only in Gaza, Gath, and Ashdod. " Doesn 't none mean none? I thought Joshua was supposed to clear the land all the way to the Euphrates. I 'm not faithful enough either, but should Joshua be my hero?

    verse 19 bind what?
  • Jacob on Acts 1 - 10 years ago
Part 2 NENE. Now James is addressed to the twelve tribes. See verse 1. We know that there is a doctrinal change after Philemon because there is a distinguishing of Jews and gentiles again. Hence the twelve tribes. Under Paul's church age doctrine, there is no difference when you are saved Gal 3:28. James is addressed doctrinally to the Jews in the tribulation. See Revelation 7:4 for example. Now the Bible can 't contradict so we read in James 2:14 that justification is by works then in Romans 3:24,4:24, and 5:1 Justification by faith. Which is it? Paul is our spokesman for today Rom 11:15,16:4, 1Tim 2:7,2 Tim 1:11,2:7,etc. So for the church age justification is by faith alone Eph 2:8-9. After the church is caught out 1 Thess 4:16-18 the Holy Spirit will again deal much like the O.T. and salvation can be lost again and one must endure to be saved. See Matt 24:13, Heb 3:6,14, etc. You don 't have to endure to be saved in the church age, Christ will make sure you endure 1 Cor 1:8 and you are sealed Eph 1:18,4:30. Hope this helps.
