  • Jacob on Acts 2 - 10 years ago
The Church will be taken out before the tribulation happens. Those fascinated with these signs will be deceived. The Christian is to walk by the Bible 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight: Look at what the Bible says, Jeremiah 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven for the heathen are dismayed at them. The Christian is not looking for signs like the Jews 1 Corinthians 1:22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: The church will see tribulations which are hard times but not the wrath of the tribulation Revelation 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come and who shall be able to stand? Look here 1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. The Antichrist prevails against saints in the tribulation Daniel 7:21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them but not the church Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Look for Jesus Christ to come for His church any minute not the signs for the Jews. Have a nice day.
  • Michael on Genesis 4 - 10 years ago
So where does Cain 's wife come from? I 'm guessing that God created more humans but the Bible never mentions this anywhere. I would think this would be a pretty important piece of information to have been left out of the very first mention of the creation of man.
  • Mike on Mark 9:42 - 10 years ago
The word of God appear to have little to no meaning in today society, the sexual abuse within the Church is awful we accept it as part of the life and conduct of the Church if we were honest the elders and Church leaders would stand firm against the abuse but instead the Church leaders send victims off to solicitors while the Church protects its assets children are NO longer assets of the Church?

  • Motdaugrnds on Romans 9 - 10 years ago
Verses 10-18 has given me problems understanding. When first read, it appeared God was arbitrarily choosing one person over another to be a follower of righteousness and the other to be the oppressor. Yet, the entire Bible talks of God 's wanting ALL to be followers of His Spirit. My only conclusion at this time is that God knew from the beginning how each person was going to turn out and since He gave man free will, he LET each choose to be either a follower of righteouness or of perdition...with the heart of those choosing a sinful nature being hardened over time by their own choices. Anyone else given thought to this? Can you add some Scripture that might help me better understand?
  • VERITAS on Isaiah 6 - 10 years ago
UZZIAH died after a "Reign " of 52 years?????---IN 722 BC,the same year that PEKAH. Killed PEKAHIAH!!!! His last year of RULE was 749 BC 3251am... He was a LEPER for the rest of his life...26 years!!!. The so-called historians have no idea of the TRUE CHRONOLOGY of the Kings of Israel Judah. History has been falsified as a result. Hezekiah actually Shadow Ruled for an extra 15 years with his then 12 year old son,Manasseh until 681BC 3319AM. Sennacherib lost 185,000 men overnight in his SECOND invasion of a recalcitrant Tributaries land,AFTER 686BC ,which was the first year of TAHARQA the Nubian,King of Egypt?.. Sennacherib conquered JUDAH in 712 BC 3288AM,the 14th year of Hezekiah. I have given you enough clues to complete an accurate CHRONOLOGY.Which I have already done some time ago. But power over the SHEEPLE has blocked every effort to reveal those truths VERITAS
  • God' Woman- on Joshua 3 - 10 years ago
God is the same yesterday, today, and forever more. If He did it then, won 't God do it now? According to Jeremiah 32: 27 He stated, "Behold I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me? All that I can cry out is, Lord help my unbelief!
  • Bozki on Luke 6 - 10 years ago
27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, 28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. 46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell and the ruin of that house was great. It is Jesus who said that.....Make a decision now.....God Bless

  • Motdaugrnds on Romans 1 - 10 years ago
The Sabbath Day? The Scriptures are quite clear about what day of the week it is and how important it is. However, we read and understand not because we do not accept the Holy Spirit 's guidance. I personally was raised in a Sunday-keeping church with the Ten Commandments hanging on the wall of that church. When I started studying the Scriptures for myself to find out why the 4th commandment was being overlooked, I ran up against much defiance from family and ministers alike. One evening I was on my knees talking with God about it and told God I was not getting up off my knees, i.e. I would not let Him go, until He blessed me by letting me know the truth about the 7th Day Sabbath. Immediately a dark cloud lifted from around me and my thoughts were so clear about this subject that I wondered why I had never understood before. I pray each person studying to know the truth about this important subject do so with humble assertiveness.
  • Stephende on Isaiah 59 - 10 years ago
What most impressed me is that God is with those who do transgress his commandments and further is penitent and humble as a one who subject to his Redeemer. This book of Isaiah is the book most quoted by Jesus, who he learned the Truth from. You think Jesus was born with the knowledge of God? That 's not what the scripture tells us but that he stayed behind to learn from the PhDs of that era. Jesus earned his grace and power and it was said that he pleased God.
  • Dr Allen E Gale on Job 2:9 - 10 years ago
A bumper sticker that I have seen is "Life is a ** ". Those are words of despair. Read the last chapters of the book of Job. God asked Job and God continues to ask us. "Were you there when I created the Heavens? Were you there when I created the wonders of the deep? Were you there when I created the glorious colours of sunrise and rainbow? " My Mum taught me "Two men looked through the prison bars. One saw the mud, the other the stars. " Yep. Look up. Look around at all that is wonderful. That healed Job and it will heal you and me.
  • Ron on 1 Corinthians 15:28 - 10 years ago
Grant, where in the Word does the incommunicable attribute of Christ 's submission make the only begotten Son less glorious, or less honorable than the Father? Does this particular attribute that distinguishes the Person of the Son from the Father diminish other of the Son 's attributes that qualify His divinity? Just because the Son is eternally submissive does not change that He is eternal. Nor does it change His omnipotence, omniscience, or His omnipresence. Nor can Christ change, being immutable, the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do a study on communicable and incommunicable attributes of the Godhead.
  • Cynthia Thomas on Exodus 20:12 - 10 years ago
I believe just what the word says, but I do have a question. Are there biblical conditions that regulate these relationships?
  • David on Deuteronomy 20 - 10 years ago
Charlie Frank. I agree, but if you think that 's bad consider verses 16-17 which advocate outright genocide. Deuteronomy 20:16 But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth: When the Germans attempted this last century the word they used was 'Lebensraum ' - Living space for Germans instead of Jews, the difference being that the Jews very sensibly declined to execute this 'divine ' command. In principle however the intention is identical. The moral problem with christians interpreting Jewish scripture however is that many of the former also accept the authority divine revelation. So when Hitler excused himself by claiming that he was only doing God 's work, such christians are in a poor position to refute him! Especially when we also consider 1 Thessalonians 2:14,15 . . . the Jews: Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: After some 2000 years of this kind of defamation is it any wonder that eventually somebody decided to take matters into their own hands with or without God 's explicit permission?
  • Joseph on Matthew 5:1 - 10 years ago
Jesus went up the mountain and prayed all night according to Luke 6:12 After Jesus got done praying He waited for the ones who had listened to Him pray How else would His disciples know were to find Him? .
  • Paul Kamanda on Isaiah 53 - 10 years ago
Isaiah 53 demonstrate the supreme love God my Father has for me. I was the sinner, the transgressor who deserves to be humiliated and died on the Cross. But wonder of wonders! He heaped my sins on His innocent and righteous Son- Jesus Christ! Christ willingly took my place and died for me. What an act of love and mercy my Father has shown me and you my brother and sister reading this? For our salvation, He has sacrificed His Son in our place. Thank you my Father for what You have done for the human race. We believe You did it because You loved us so much, thank You so much for Christ.

  • Bobs on Romans 1 - 10 years ago
Wow,all the smartest are here. Hey, question, so I 'm going to hell? I really don 't want to go there, I want to be wherever Jesus is. Unfortunately I still have these fleshy problems, like lust, selfishness, immaturity, fears, laziness, etc. I 've learned that the Bible really explains everything sometimes God uses others to help me undetstand what 's important. I appreciate the 7th Day Adventists ' dogged determination to teach the Sabbath observance. I 've heard preachers talk about that too. I don 't think anyone is saying that there is no Sabbath day, nor do they say that Sunday is the correct day to worship. Doesn 't Acts have record of the early gatherings being in the Synagogues, but they would also gather on the 1st day of the week also? Paul warned them and us of Judeisers, who would insist that the new believers would need to observe Moses laws, which seems godly, yet it seems to be more showy rather than real worship. I 've been called lots of names: cracker, poor little white trash, hypocrite, retarded. Some of my best friends were Adventists my exwife was Catholic. My current wife stopped going to church years ago, and she drinks a 6pack a day. I pray and read the King James Bible every day. I hate it when I have to miss church gatherings. So, any responses?
  • Judith Beale on Judith 1 - 10 years ago
Having studied bibical teachings for some time now, all I read is a history of the Jewish people. That includes jesus. Where are the rest of us represented? Did the church leave out books, because they were sexist. Why can 't they be included now? People change the bible to suit their agenda. Why doesn 't god really talk to people in a burning bush today? Why doesn 't he stop the false prophets of today?
  • Insight 777 on Luke 16 - 10 years ago
Verse 8 is KEY to understanding this parable. Who are the children of light? They are the followers of Jesus. Jesus is the light of this world. John chapter one verses 4 and 9 explains this. So, the lord speaking here in verse 8 is NOT Jesus! Jesus does not praise the unjust! The Bible says Satan tries to deceive even the elect, One must recognize this when it occurs! Who would say cheating is wise? Remember HELL is an everlasting habitation! There are the followers of God and there are the followers of unrighteous mammon, one can not be both no matter how generous one is with the money. In this example money was stolen and given away so that the people receiving the stolen money might treat the thief as a friend and give him employment. Who would want to hire a thief except people that are unjust and want to steal themselves. In truth, accepting a false reduction in debt is stealing also. They were all thieves, children of darkness. And NO, they are not wiser than children of light! That is a lie and Satan is the father of the lie. Jesus gives the gift of Divine substance that enriches life, the substance of truth, fairness, equity, love, peace and everlasting life.

  • FREDDY GALLO on Daniel 7 - 10 years ago
You can worship God any day of the week...God is seeking worship in spirit and in truth...The sabbath day is a day of rest under the law of the old covenant, when God created the heavens and the earth in six days Genesis chapter 1 ...If you want to keep the sabbath day? Do no work on the sabbath day... You are not under the works of the law of the old covenant, but under grace.
