Dying to self nonetheless IS exactly that; but not at the expense of the dignity of a person. No place in scripture do we see an Apostle of God demanding allegiance; that is left alone to He who sought us and bought us with His redeeming blood (Title I believe is Victory in Jesus).
The God of heaven is concerned with care for His people and thus feeds His sheep. In this love of course He chastises all those He loves; and can use people to rebuke us in that context but not to "lord it" over us. Controlling food; violating young women and boys and other savage characteristics of a demonically inspired leadership is of the enemy. God will utilize things such as fasting and blesses our obedience but doesn't manipulate us against our will which a born again believer in reality has that is conformed to the Spirit; but it is a work in progress. The opposite; of course is stated by cult leaders who themselves like to say they no longer sin; or have achieved some sort of perfection.
Also; there are some things that are only between God and an individual; Revelation 2:17 says the following: He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Of course a saved person has no delusions that we can overcome Satan and His powers and principalities through any efforts of their own. Only Christ can fight against the Antichrist Beast as Revelation 13 states; no man has that power and all are under his spell that aren't saved. It isn't our job to do things which are supposed to be done by God; or in the case of Satan being cast from heaven; by Michael the Archangel. If one is presumptuous in this manner they risk what happened to Job; but today of course we know about the enemy of our souls unlike Job so are without excuse.
And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.In order to explain this we shall refer to the prophet who was given charge to deliver his word. So it is not to Israel he addresses but two two witnesses. " Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken." The role of man is that of a voice. Soul is consequently a sign.
In the beginning the Word was God so what word circular which creates its own moment like the whirlwind out of which God challenged Job. Applying these seven days fixed by the Law of this Spirit sets a median running through the spin of a coin, the analogy still holds, and the Holy Spirit calls it the foundation which is rock solid and give Alpha and Aspect of Jesus Christ it stands form:"Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his."(2 Tim.2.19) God first trusted in his Son and accepted us,"Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:" In vv. 7-14 the ch.1 of the epistle to the Ephesians is the sum total of what soul signifies for him. As the firstborn his relation to His creation also works into the tabernacle of God. Entering into the rest of God is also helps us understand what redemption of our souls mean. In media res, the day Five serves as the turnpike moment where man is entering into the meat of His Holiness. Without holiness no man shall see God. As Christ dwells in us by faith God exhorts,'Be ye holy for I am holy."
How are we to worship Him. In spirit and truth and not by lips ervice. "O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth./ Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously./Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.'(Ps.96.9-11)
Perhaps we should start with the initial call of God.
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; ( 1 Cor. 1:27).
Flattery and coercion are two methods of the enemy to summon a victim into a cult. We are reminded of this verse in Daniel 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. This shows the Antichrist in gaining control; apparently a precursor to gaining enough support to usurp all agreements with the parties including Israel in the Daniel 9:27 covenant; the breaking of which brings him into all power of worship and economic control. This concept of Satan is seen in all manners of influence that he has managed to grab hold of in the empires of the world; it can be said of all cult leaders as well. Flattery works to bring an appearance of harmlessness by appealing ultimately to the flesh; although some of the so called prosperity preachers twist scripture and use the enticement and comforts of material wealth to blind men who want to "have their cake and eat it too"; so to speak; or as Jesus said to the Phariees who were greedy for gain "they have their reward already" ( Matthew 6:2).
Once someone is indoctrinated or trapped in a religious system then guilt and control is exercised to strip one of their freedoms and it becomes obvious to the outsider that a person is trapped by a wolf lording it over people. The consolidation of wealth of all sorts; and privileges with associations with other likeminded world influencers brings a supposed unity. What is defined as "inclusiveness" is really an exclusion of individual freedom disguised as the opposite. Thus the value of a person's calling and individual dignity is sacrificed for the man in charge who becomes a god.
Many assume James and Paul preached the same message, yet Scripture reveals a clear difference in their ministries. The Apostle Paul's gospel centers fully upon the finished work of Christ-His death, burial, and resurrection. Paul boldly declares, "We preach Christ crucified" ( 1 Cor. 1:23), and emphasizes redemption "through His blood" ( Eph. 1:7). The cross is the foundation of Paul's gospel of grace, given directly by revelation from the risen Christ ( Gal. 1:11-12). Paul's message is salvation by grace through faith alone, apart from works ( Eph. 2:8-9).
In contrast, James writes to "the twelve tribes" ( James 1:1), clearly identifying his audience as Israel. His focus is not on the cross or the blood of Christ but on practical righteousness, urging believers to show their faith by works ( James 2:24). James stresses endurance under trials, bridling the tongue, and caring for the poor, but never once does he mention the cross, the shed blood, or the resurrection as the basis of salvation. His concern is living faith demonstrated in deeds, consistent with the kingdom program promised to Israel.
I challenge you: search the book of James from beginning to end and show one verse where James ever speaks of the cross, the blood of Christ, or the finished work of Calvary. You will not find it. Paul's gospel is Christ-centered and cross-centered; James' message is law-keeping faith for Israel's kingdom hope. These are not the same.
Grace and Peace.
I am not a bible scholar, but it is my daily bread. I do not want to let precious time slip by distractions of the world. There is so much available to us in God's grace, redemption, and power. So many cries for understanding from God's word give us strength and desire to have wisdom and revelation. We are blessed beyond measure, but if we neglect this great salvation, it is our doing.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. Jesus is King.
The recent events with Mr. Kirk have as of today made me more confident to say that he was indeed a martyr; as he espoused and approved the Gospel approach of Ray Comfort in the past which in no uncertain terms as far as I can tell is a clear and Biblically sound approach to the Word. I am as people here can tell skeptical of much that is going down and trying to be deliberately vague so as not to be flagged but also focus on how a Christian in general should approach things going on today.
What is happening now; with the upcoming communion event in D.C. (I'll just leave it at that) is steeped with NAR and therefore with false teachings and I am giving a strong caution for anyone that wants to engage in such an event. Communion I believe should be offered to any true believer; but how it is determined in such a mass of people remains to be seen and what certain false teachers have done to that ceremony is at best questionable and at times clearly blasphemous.
To anyone with a normal human brain (I will avoid being overly sarcastic but need to make a point here); the attempt to hold onto all of our riches of this world and the attempt to push the prosperity gospel (small g) is a clear indicator of this:
Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. ( Titus 1:14-15).
Now again to someone with a normal intelligence can read verses such as this to see what true persecution is
Philippians 3:8
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
or read 2 Corinthians 11 as to what happened with a TRUE Apostle.
Food for thought; time to shop
Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
The Cantata Sleepers Awake by J.S. Bach says this: "Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme" ("Awake", we are called by the voice [of the watchmen]), (Wikipedia).
I recommend highly that many here take a few minutes to listen to his very uplifting organ piece.
At present we are sandwiched between the extremist rantings of those continually coming up with Rapture dates and those who are bypassing any concept or belief in that and embracing Dominionism; thus symbolically "hogtying" Christ from returning until the church is fully ready; thus creating a situation which is a self fulfilling prophecy of being left behind and substituting the true Messiah with a false one. No doubt the Devil is laughing all the way to the bank as it were; as souls are being bankrupted with either obsession at the moment.
The true church is clearly being attacked from all sides; those who have prayed for so long that the persecution won't come to us here in the good old USA have fallen for the other tactic of the enemy on a large part; that of ecumenicalism. Now I am not here to argue as to whether or not more good or evil comes out of what is being touted the start of a revival in this nation based on recent events. I will say that any rational minded mature believer can see both results as with any move of God the enemy is waiting in the wings to screw things up to the best of his ability. Personally I tend to avoid almost all big events; which goes along with my personality to some extent so I pray that I will be involved if and when God calls me in that direction. I will also say that ANY large scale movement that doesn't also correspond with persecution shows strong signs of not being from God (again notwithstanding individuals such as Ray Comfort for instance).
More in next post
Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
In the latter reference; verse 4 talks about leaving our first love. Whether it is an individual implication (as in Matthew) or the church as a whole the concept is basically the same. The warnings could perhaps be a similar result; society at large overtakes any moral standard and we personally are unable to resist the forces of the world; flesh and the devil.
I will restate something I have mentioned previously; and that is there is a separation coming. There are ultimately those saved and lost or wheat and chaff; but time will make this clearly evident that which for the time being may be hidden. Among those who are saved currently many are asleep and compomised. I have seen the debate on whether a Christian can be possessed or merely oppressed. There is no need to get into all that but suffice to say that many are spiritually bound because of sin. We in the Body of Christ who sadly seem blind to much of what is happening seem to hardly ever speak of this issue today; no wonder we have a church like the Corinthians where many are sick and fallen asleep prematurely. This relates to my last post as to what others miss out on when the enemy has us distracted and back on the broad path once again. I don't really get it and wasn't even planning to get into this subject today; but shouldn't we ask ourselves why is it that prayer is almost always focused on physical illnesses and hardly ever on spiritual healing from demonic attacks to lift others up and for them to be set free?
I have stated in posts previously that living a Godly life or not affects acts of commission and omission and the repercussions are much as a ripple effect; or exponentially accentuated beyond how it affects us as individuals. Few probably consider when; for instance they are getting caught up in worldly affections or vices how those around them are not being ministered as they were previously by the spiritual giftings that are without repentance (see Romans 11:29).
I want to "camp out" on that concept for a time because it is such a grave matter. The basic idea here is that the soul becomes sick when it is not being an avenue for healing; or a balm for others in need. It is a grim reality that those in the Body are suffering from all sorts of need; whether it is believers being persecuted who are hungry; tired; thirsty and bewildered or those in our own midst who are crying out for compassion. Yes our own cold hearts are causing deprivation; God ultimately can use another but as Revelation 3:11 warns us our reward is in jeopardy. We should think long and hard about this; as our motivation should be to honor God with our spiritual gifts as Hebrews suggests we must believe He is a rewarder ( Heb. 11:6) of those doing His will. Honor will be given to us or another; no doubt we will praise God seeing another blessed but be heartbroken at our failures at the Bema Seat. Food for thought....
Lest we be as Shake sphere and being full of sound and fury signifying nothing; our "repentance" has to be backed up in actions; not just pious words. And this is the danger with over politicizing anything. Is Jesus really the Lord of our lives?
We need to consider how often the truth puts us in the minority; as well as the one world religion to come that no doubt will engulf all those who call themselves Christians but are trying to build a kingdom on earth through their own agenda.
Christ comes after Antichrist controls to world.
What is the definition of a man's heart? I will attempt without looking it up presently to define it. I would say it is the seat of a man's emotions; the center of the will; and the resulting actions in immediate response all the way to long term plans in their behavior that demonstrates what is there. Therefore; repentance has to be beyond a mere verbal assent to one's condition but a heartfelt response to the prompting of the Spirit; which according to scripture can only happen if God grants repentance in the first place.
Nonetheless no matter our view in regard to Calvinism or Arminianism and everything in between there has to be more than an instantaneous response to the Lord's prompting. The renewed heart has to continue with the "sanctification" until the end of life on this earth and that involves continuing to repent for wrong actions; but that is only a start. To grow in maturity we have to preplan our lives to some extent to avoid situations we aren't equipped to handle or have shown weaknesses toward temptations in the past. For me; as an example I have had to curb my spending and investments as I tend to obsess on things and not carefully consider the overall picture with my impulsiveness. Some things of course we need to eliminate altogether and we need to be open to God's prompting on that. Of course there are things which haven't affected us; since I never smoked for instance I just find it repulsive being in a room with others who do that; particularly with marijuana. It is helpful in general to support others who have different vices and have accountability; and probably avoid those who may have the same issues (not a good idea to hang around women who have had a problem with immorality or infidelity if you are a man in church; for instance).
Let me add at the end that rather than a vacuum filling our lives with Godly things is part of the cure from our own selfishness.
More to come.
Maybe people should consider hanging a pumpkin and some mistletoe; notwithstanding the occult implications of each it seems Christmas and Halloween seem to encompass a great deal of time from September to January every year. (Or as my pun indicates we can hang a turkey and some mistletoe and all have salmonella by Christmas eve).
Ok my attempt at humor if it is allowed here. I suppose it is a good thing that the turkey isn't the national bird or we'd all be idolizing it constantly and I suppose have to be content eating eagle once a year. What is mind numbing is that apparently the averae American spends over 100 bucks a year on Halloween. It used to be not so many moons ago that such expenditures on Christmas seems extravagent. and now (drumroll) the churches in America have begun the "trunk or treat" events. At best it seems to me to be an attempt to assimilate popular customs and do a bait and switch with the whole "trick" process. I suppose I shouldn't ask what bratty kids do in revenge if the trunk doesn't produce the treat they want in the process...
As I have said in the past it's too bad this season brings pumpkin a bad name. It isn't the pumpkin's fault; being a healthy food for man and beast alike that it's face is carved into grimaced expressions which no doubt come from pagan origin. The thing that amazes me is how many put up all sorts of demonic artifacts in their backyard then a nativity scene a month or less later once the former is removed. What is the reason for the season then; are we Satanists or Christians or some hybrid in between.
There are some individuals who we could go out wearing costumes imitating them that may consider it sacrilege but which is worse; an outer representation of such or an inner state of heart and soul that is far removed from repentance but attempting through some religious exercise every year related to Christ's birth?
I thought it may be good to present a brief synopsis of current events; and I like the approach of one video which I watched this AM regarding not reacting immediately to news updates but considering overall patterns. We should be cautious; no doubt to sift through accurate data to surmise the truth; and have some wisdom along with a realization that the whole truth no doubt is veiled in many levels of deception today.
It is clear in my advancing years that there is an increasing acceleration toward the consummation or end of the age in all aspects geopolitically. Nonetheless; the power vacuum that exists that has so far deterred one individual from taking over the whole world in the final stage of the 4th Kingdom is evident and will no doubt be the overwhelming and apparent manifestation of all the hopes and dreams of false religion. I have stated before that humanism will likely be a primary catalyst to draw in men who consider human love and basic goodness in promoting this agenda. This allows for a sort of self fulfilling prophecy to take affect; whether the ultimate goals of the atheist leaders of the past who are idolized or the messianic figure of all false religions the end is the same; adulation of the final man of sin along with the Beast system.
The question for the believer is how much to and when to resist. Those who have a Post Trib rapture disposition no doubt feel they need preparation to ride it out through much of the Tribulation and the judgments pronounced. Again; the underemphasis on the events of the seal judgments is often a factor; as it is apparent the way I read scripture that many won't even survive until the time the mark is implemented which appears to be the midpoint of the Tribulation; although it may be tested locally or without total enforcement beforehand. I'd like to point out that warning people to repent and flee the wrath to come is bolstered by the Rapture before the Tribulation as I see it.
"And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth."God blessed them in his Son who is a sign. And this is not for heaven but for the world made to appear. Thus he sends his light drkness does not comprehend. 'In his was life so those who saw well saw with their eye of faith. "And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." This eye makes all the difference. Inability to understand " things which are seen were not made of things which do appear' may seem a trifle but it is not so. God has weighed waters by measure and truth in the vry nucleus so how water shall interact with volcanic ash transcends their individual properties. Ash is inert but water makes it fertile for plant life. Male and female God created man; so did wisdom before the mountains were dicovered."Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:/While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world."(Prov.8.25-27) So depths were as plaiin in His sight as the face of the waters. God impresses His holiness upon the earth as it were and it stands up curtains with which He makes a tent. In the circle of vision man is asa grasshopper. So the matter has his own bag of tricks to which reason may never fathom.
Each of our cells our body serves as factory where mitochcondria combines with molecular oxygen to extract energy for the body to make use of. These mitochondria were free organisms but at a point of time they pooled their resources so effective that it is still in tact. What put wisdom in their inward parts? Foolish man is ready to die for free speech what he cannot understand. He who loves life shall lose it. It is thus fools die for want of wisdom.
God blessed His creation so they learned to trust his Son, 'the heir of all things.' (Heb.1.2)
23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
Romans 3:31
"Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law."
James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
James 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven."
God weighed the waters by measure so we have the response coming from waters. Christ promised to those who heard him abundant life and God's word now showing results in the world made to appear. What was the word falling upon the earth, the majesty of it is laid out in Ps,ch.29 His word is backed by His absolute certainty arising from Power and Wisdom. The sea respond and so does the dry land,"as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.'( Job 38.14;28.25) The wind is weighted as wateres are measured so the word of God shall never fail. His breath cleared the air and as with heaven so shall the earth so in the end his kingdom rules and his decree shall stand. "Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein."(Isa.42.5)
v.21 "And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good." Quality of the word is holy so is the word coming as a sound. What was his Son? First in all his creation and it is thus He presents him to the angels," he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.". This we see demonstrated at the burning bush. Moses turned aside,'why the bush is not burnt' and the voice warns him,"Put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground."(Exod.3.5)
Breath of Life gives rise to life where the line stretched sets light and darkness still separate so abundant life proclaimed that they are sanctified so every living creature produced after his kind; likewise every winged fowl.
Please insert this passage in the first para after this line:
Thus heaven has more than one way to stretch the line over it.
" Up and Down and Across shall have yet another: so the cherubim after the expulsion of man is shown with a flaming sword, 'which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.'(3.24) "
Thanks,
" And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
Here we see v.4 making a full round." and God divided the light from the darkness,"we see the will of God making shapes however fuzzy it may be light radiated goodness so life stirring in the natural world widened the separation of light from darkness. Ordinances of heaven in heaven saw four spirits patrolling north south west and east. The rest of God was established in the north country. The vision of Zechariah is underpinning the will of the Father which Jesus reveals in the Lord's Prayer,"Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."(Mt.6.10)When we come to the river flowing from Eden we come across four riverheads cardinal directions of which are fixed from heaven to this natural world. Thus heaven has more than one way to stretch the line over it. Zechariiah ch.1 mentions it thus,"and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem."(Zech.1.16) North country mentioned in ch.6 may have been under the siege from the Angelic revolt but the line is laid over the city, Zion and holy Jerusalem; simultaneously the Spirit of God moving upon the face of the waters and the angels are securing the waters . We shall examine them by and by.
V.19. "And the evening and the morning were the fourth day."
Each day in the Covenant serves as a milestone to help us understand the nature of and of darkness and why Good divided the light from darkness. The devil sins from the beginning "( 1 Jn 3.8) so next three days mark manifestation of the Son of man, the breath of life with which God made man a living soul. The Spirit of God moving upon the face of the waters when given the body of the Lamb slain as in the vision of John is associated with the Lamb slain,"seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth." His coming is as a sign in the context of Noah entering into the ark. (Mt.24.37-38)
You could be anywhere else, or doing anything else, but you are here asking for prayer. We have chosen the good part. Taking this moment, I want to say to you: I want you to have success, but not the success according to this world, because the success of this world is fleeting and materialistic. But the success of having the certainty that your name is written in the Book of Life. That very book which will be opened, and then we will be asking the angel if our name is found in the Book of Life. May our names be in that book. That is the true success.
I don't know how you are doing, if you are worried about tomorrow, about your commitments, your debts. But I pray that when you enter your room ( Matthew 6:6) God will touch your heart. Whoever you pray for, be it your girlfriend or your daughter, may you have peace. Not the peace of the birds singing or the silence of the countryside, but the peace that comes from above, which surpasses all understanding. And even if you are in a difficult moment, do not negotiate your salvation or your faith, for it is better to lose a limb now (without a leg or an arm, without an eye) than with soiled garments.
" And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so."
In terms of two faces we have the Father of lights and the Son who with his death and resurrections gives the face below a new significance. "IAs long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.." By resurrection he proved that he is the true Light."It was sign and the darkness at noon, " Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour."(Matt.27.45; Jn 9.5)
v.16 "6 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also." The FatherSon relationship sets two signs for the natural world. Significance of the sign of Jonah. serves a warning to the disbelieving world. The reflected light of the moon is beyond earth sign. It ties to the ordinances of heaven. "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me."( Jn 12.32) It was a sign to the white throne judge where according to the works the wicked shall be judged. At his death graves were opened and the veil was rent, " And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;/ And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,/And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. "(Mt.27.51-53) The two great iights are qualified by the adjective so they serve as warning set by the ordinances of heaven. For this reason we find four anels associated with the 'great' river, river Euphrates." Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates."(Rev.9.14-15) Considering the outer darkness the sign of the lesser light shall rule them. new earth as distinct from outer darkness, as mentioned in v.17, 'And to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
Romans 2:13
"(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified."
Matthew 5:16
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

v.14 "And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years":
God is the Father of lights. His Son as first begotten is the true Light. This glory existed eternally which by his vooice sounds for the world made to appear. As mentioned earlier made to appear is a commentary on the natural world. Man may reason and say this light with which I see is here and now. Is it, it takes eight minutes for the sun light to reach my retina. There are stars millions of light years away. The star dying sends light we are seeing in our night sky while the source is no longer exists. The writer talks of the world framed by the word which has different significance than the natural world. Faith is required in order to distinguish one from another. It is a sign so faith makes me take warning from the word. Sign of the times was when bandits took the possessions of the weak becausse might was right and his superior firepower made the weak accept the fact silently. First nations let their lands go from their hands to the bandits who after a couple of centures turn their own banditry on their own nation. What is their argument,"Our culture shall not be polluted by cultures broght from elsewhere" The sign that God set is the truth. Yhword is truth." It is thus God set his Son as the true Light
God sanctified the firmament heaven. He sets up a tabernacle for the sun. So natural world has sun moon and stars. They signifiy the Word as sound as well as sign.
Natiral world has four seasons so has the word circular. There is harvest in the natural world so has harvest ordained from heaven. Rev.14.14-20. "or the harvest of the earth is ripe." In the parable,"and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn."(Mt.13.30)
In Gen.1 we have the Covenant as set up by the Law. The analogy of the toss of a coin can have only one result. Whether head or tail it is the same. "I and my Father are one when comes to rest ii is the God's rest. The same in the ch.2 we are looking from the POV of man created in our image and after our likeness. Male and female created he them. This explains a few things: In making Adam a living soul the same breath of life made the woman a living soul. This is how we consider the heir of promise in the generation of Jesus Christ. Their inheritance is in the kingdom of light. Second point is that the deep sleep of Adam refers to the death of his Son. Just as the face of the deep the same spiritual meaning in the case of Adam. The Spirit calls his sleep after our likeness, so same emblem of the slain Lamb applies to cover his shame. God made them coats of skins makes the connection obvious.(Gen.3.21). God set a commandment for Adam and he failed. Without faith man cannot please God. God sets one full turn as with the word circular. In the case of Abraham God calls him out of his father's house. His faith is implied there. "By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went."(Heb.11.8) The Holy Spirit explains the significance of his going south." And he went on his journeys from the south even to Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning."(13.3) Notice the expression,'at the beginning' The point to remember is that Abrahan made one full turn walking through the length and bradth of the land believing in the promise of God. The Word was God. Abraham by faith was with God. By coming back where he began he made manifest the Word which was the Law." By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:/For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God
Your post today really touched me deeply. We need to always keep in mind God's love and kindness toward us. I am glad you reminded us today.
I Peter 1:6-9
6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:7That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
God bless us all. Amen!
We are now looking at the Covenant from the POV of Adam.
In 1.4 we have the breath of life when God commanded 'Let there be light." His breath of life thus garnishes the heavens."By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.( Job 26.13) This Spirit working as harnessed by God. Ordinances of heaven as with the vision of Zechariah walk the four Spirit through north south, east and west. The face of the waters shall produce in course of time marine organisms for instance phytoplankton sustain 5 of the entire marine life; By the same token great fishes in the depth are brought to life.
2.7 "and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." This soul is a sign for the man. In our image and lekeness sets him as the double for his Son whom God gave the life in himself and give life to whomsoever he will. Adam did not chose for his helpmeet from His creation for the simple reason that God had become wisdom for him as a believer is called. (1 Cor.1.30), The Spirit clues us in, "in the likeness of God made he him;/Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created."(5.2) The creation of Eve was yet to be in future. As the Son was the heart or soul of God Adam believed in the body that God prepared for him The separation of light from darkness counselled him to make a separation himself from His creatin. How sin has clouded man ever since tells us from the provision in the Law of Moses, "And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast."(Lev.20.15) God set him as a double in the next instance, "and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof."(2.19-20) The name of Jesus Christ is more excellent than any nme He shall give his saints a new name,"which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it." Rev.2.17
Whatever name Adam gave his creation
1 Peter 1:3-5 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
I mentioned a particular song in the last posting; which has had a profound affect on my heart. I let the writer of it know; that indeed I sense God is going to use it in amazing ways.
Music indeed today is even with Christian artists seems dumbed down and lukewarm. John 16:8 shows that the true influence of the Holy Spirit comes to convict of sin; righteousness nd judgment to come. God's love is overflowing with His Holiness and reminds me anyway whenever it comes of my own wretched state. In the presence of someone Spirit filled I find myself ashamed of myself and am painfully reminded of my own cold heart. THIS is what Agape should do; it demands attention and draws us away from any competing affections. This is no mamby pamby sentiment; I don't intend to be condescending but as some have stated God is a jealous God that brooks no rivals as it were. Lukewarmness therefore has the worst of both worlds; it has all the form of true worship without the substance ( 2 Tim. 3:5); and it leads to legalism without any fear of God and His Holiness. Other forms of following rules of course can lead to someone who is cold hearted but full of outward vigor in what he defines as pursuing holiness. The opposite is anarchy; a free grace sort of careless mindset as to any fruit that the lord of the vineyard expects from those He has planted.
In short; we are all much worse than we can imagine; but thankfully this makes the gift that much more precious of eternal life.
