Now I have my dad to consider; with his issues; at times pleasant to be around even with Dimentia somewhat coherant but subject to his old behavior of sarcasm; savage temper and impatience and at times confusion falling for things online and such.
Thankfully the care person likes him and vice versa for now; I am still working on a decent evening person and considering carefully whether to remain living in the home or staying somewhere close by with the funding available.
I appreciate everyone here paying or me; I have very good church support as well as a social worker.
God bless everyone.

If we were to take out Apostle Paul's epistle out of the Bible, it would be very difficult to find Salvation today. Apostle Paul was a chosen vessel unto the Gentiles and Jews to spread his gospel inwhich Jesus Christ gave him through the revelation of the mystery.
Acts 22:3
Iamverily a man whichama Jew,bornin Tarsus, a cityin Cilicia, yet brought upin this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.
Apostle Paul is the least of the apostles, just like Jesus Christ said Elias is the least.
Matthew 11:14
And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.
1 Corinthians 15:9

Even though Apostle Paul made others blasphemy, it was done ignorant back when he was a Pharisee.
1 Timothy 1:13

Jesus Christ gave Apostle Paul a office to preach to the Gentiles Salvation.

Verse 5 leads me to John chapter 4 verse 14 .
Verses 8 and 13 seem to me to be connected in my mind .
What Jesus says in verses 11 , 12 and 13 seems to be reiterated by John the Baptist in verses 31 , 32 and 33 .
Finally verses 19 and 20 take me straight back to Genesis and Adam and Eve's behaviour after they sinned and hid themselves from God in Genesis chapter 3 verse 10 .
This ( John chapter 3 ) is indeed a packed chapter . I am enjoying very much .
If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them;then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked. And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number. Forty stripes he may give him, and not exceed:lest,if he should exceed, and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother should seem vile unto thee.
The Bible is God's Law Book. God will not and cannot violate His Law.
Eternal conscious existence and suffering under the wrath of God in a place called hell, that never ends for those whose sins have not been paid for is not taught in the Bible.
What the Bible does teach is that the wages of sin is death, both in body and soul. Unsaved man together with this sin cursed earth will be eternally destroyed, that is annihilated. This is what be Law of God requires, and what the Lord Jesus Christ, eternal God Himself, experienced and then rose to life again as the substitute for all of those whom God chose to save. And for whom God has obligated Himself to apply that salvation to their life by giving them a new resurrected soul at some point in their life. And then a new resurrected body which will occur at the Last Day.
It is still the day of salvation. And anyone concerned about their relationship with God may still cry out to God for mercy in the hope that God might save them.
Salvation is 100% the work of God.
Joel 2:12-14 Therefor, also now, saith the LORD,turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him;even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
Therefore, if we had only John 3:16 to understand the afterlife (whether it exists or not), then we could well believe that 'perish' clearly means a complete cessation of life, as in someone (the body) who perishes in a house fire or perishes by drowning. But in relation to the Scriptures, we know that God has given us a spirit & that spirit is identifies who we are, given life by God, with an outer covering (a body) to house it, yet the spirit can never perish (die). Genesis 2:7; Zechariah 12:1; Job 32:8; 1 Corinthians 2:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Ecclesiastes 3:21; Ecclesiastes 12:7.
And then we have the Judgement of God upon all, where those who belong in God's family, living a life consecrated to Him, are eternally secure from damnation, whereas all unbelievers (and their spirits can never be destroyed), suffer under God's condemnation. If only death was our final punishment for rejecting Christ, then we all still have to die as those in sinful, corrupt bodies; none can escape. This is a defective Gospel as most would prefer to cease to exist without any punishment & live life to the full, not answerable to God. But Christ's Sacrifice was to redeem lost sinful souls, not from death, but from God's eternal Punishment. Revelation 20:15; Revelation 21:8; Matthew 10:28; Matthew 13:49,50; Matthew 25:41,46; Mark 9:43; Luke 16:19-31; 2 Thessalonians 1:8,9.
Just a few Scriptures to show the Truth of an Eternal suffering in Hell & not simply disappearing forever in the grave. Every spirit (of man) is accountable to God.

So sorry for this sad time. I will be praying or your mom and for you and your dad. I am glad you shared this with us. We love you and know that these past few years have been difficult for you and your parents. Stay focused on how great God is. I do think that the Holy Spirit does still work in the hearts of those who are dying even when unconscious. I believe that He continues to make His appeal to the spirit of the one dying until the end. So, even when we cannot communicate and share with the one we love, the Holy Spirit works far better than we can, bringing gospel truth to their spirit until the last. You have shared the gospel hope with your mom again and again. The Holy Spirit uses what you sowed. We will not know the outcome this side of heaven, but we can be confident that God gives her many chances to receive Him. She is truly in God's hands, as all of us ultimately always are since He is sovereign over all. Be comforted tonight and tomorrow. You have been a good and loving son to her and have tried to obey God for her sake. May you be blessed richly in this time of sorrow.

2 Corinthians 10:4 - (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, and that's the word fleshy, natural inclination. And he's presenting the character of these weapons. It isn't human!
But he says, in contrast, they are mighty through God. The phrase "through God" is what is called an Instrumental Dative in the Greek. Instrument in God's hands. It's very mighty. It's very powerful, to the pulling down of strong holds;
The word strong hold means fortress or castle. And pulling down, that would be what you and I would imagine about a building being destroyed and pulled down to make room for a new one. Paul sees that Satan has a fortress and he likes to hold people captive. And Paul says our weapons are spiritual. They're not human. And they are for pulling down strong holds.
2 Corinthians 10:5 - Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Imaginations means opinions and philosophies. It's the word reasoning in Greek. Casting down opinions and philosophies, and every high thing, the word for elevation. It's a metaphorical term for attitudes. It's an attitude. Every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.
2 Corinthians 10:8 - For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:
The Lord has given us authority for edification which means to build up, to develop. It's the traditional Christian word for growth. Notice he says the Lord has given us this authority. He's always emphasizing that. It's not through people. It's through the Lord. The Lord has given us this authority for edification, and not for your destruction. God never gave us power to destroy people, but to build them up.
2 Corinthians 10:1 - Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:
He says, Now I Paul myself, emphasizing his individuality. I Paul myself, beseech you. This word beseech means to appeal to someone. And he says by the meekness and gentleness of Christ. His appeal is based on the meekness and gentleness of Christ. In Matthew 11:29-30, Jesus presented Himself as meek and lowly. And so, Paul is saying that this is not something that he is presenting out of his own effort, but this is actually the meekness and gentleness of Christ.
The word meekness means to be open or to be receptive. And the gentleness of Christ means to have a soft response to an attack. Paul is saying that I as an individual, I'm appealing to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ. So, he's presenting himself as being under the influence of God's Spirit, to approach them from a conciliatory standpoint, rather than anger.
2 Corinthians 10:2 - But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
But I beseech you, and this word beseech is different than in Verse 1. This word is the word beg. So first we have an appeal, and then he says I beg you.
2 Corinthians 9:6 - But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
But this I say, He which sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which sows bountifully, and that's the word blessing. He who sows a blessing shall also reap a blessing.
2 Corinthians 9:7 - Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Every man according as he purposes in his own heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, (that's the word grief), or of necessity: and that's the word pressure, for God loves a cheerful giver. The term "cheerful giver" in the Greek is the word that means hilarious. God loves a hilarious giver. And no, I've never seen one!
2 Corinthians 9:10 - Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
Now he that ministers seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and these are all Optative Moods in the Greek text. These are wishes, may he! May he minister bread for your food, may he multiply your seed sown, and may he increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
Do you see the emphasis? The God who provides the seed, may He increase your food, may He increase the seeds that you plant, in the sowing and the scattering of the seed, and may He increase your fruits in righteousness.
2 Corinthians 7:10 - For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation not to be repented of: That is not to be regretted. But the sorrow of the world works death.
Again, this is the word METANOEO which is associated with salvation. We use it incorrectly by saying that Christians need to repent. If you're a Christian, you've already repented. There is a confession. There is a forsaking. But repentance is associated with salvation. When you make the decision to change the direction of your life, and surrender your life to Christ, that's repentance. Repentance, METANOEO, always leads to salvation.
2 Corinthians 8:2 - How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.
Again, the word affliction is THLIPSIS for stress. This is city wide. This is things that they faced in receiving Christ.
2 Corinthians 8:4 - Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.
The word "gift" in the verse is the word grace.
2 Corinthians 8:16 - But thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you.
It is interesting that the word "thanks" in this verse is the word grace (CHARIS).
2 Corinthians 9:5 - Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.
The word "bounty" is the word EULOGIA which means blessing. Do it now under grace as a blessing. Don't wait until the last minute and find people that say I said I would give but I don't have it now, because you're going to desire to go out and get from other people, and he says it shouldn't be that way.
2 Corinthians 7:8 - For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.
The word sorry is the word grieve. For though I grieved you with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent:
There are two words in the New Testament for the word repentance. One of them, and it's the word that is used here, except for at the end of the verse. This word is METAMELOMAI. It's the word used in Matthew 27:3 for Judas Iscariot. After he had betrayed Jesus, it said that he repented, which means to regret what he did. He regretted what he did, and he went out and hung himself. The other word for repentance is METANOEO and that is true repentance and surrender to Christ.
2 Corinthians 7:9 - Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.
He says, Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, or you were grieved, but that your grief led you to repentance:
That's the word for true repentance, METANOEO. It's not the word for regret, METAMELOMAI, but METANOEO, make a decision for change. Your sorrow led to repentance. For you were made to grieve after a godly manner. The term godly manner is literally according to God. God made you grieve, that you might receive damage by us in nothing.
So, you won't experience loss. Paul was concerned that his words and his attitude might in a human sense grieve them in a bad way. But he says no, you were made to grieve according to God. Godly sorrow leads people to repentance. That's what he says in Verse 10.
There is so many good theologians that debate this study from different viewpoints.
I certainly like this study because it is so much to learn from it.
It brings us right up to the way God chose and who he chose to be the heirs of his promises to Abraham and these promises and covenants is essential to the Christian faith.
I to have a busy week and will be in and out as time permits
Here I will attempt to parallel the context of the passages previously mentioned in Romans 9 the references in the passages in the OT and these passages in Galatians.
Galatians 4:22-31
For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman
But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
More to come later.
God bless.

Romans 9:7-11 "Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
I've seen some
Replacement theologist use these verses to assign those of the flesh to Israel and they assign "Children" of the promise to the Church.
This follows after they mis interpret Romans 9:6.
However it's clear that the passages in " Romans 9:1-12 " is making a distinction between the children of promise and the children of the flesh. "BOTH BIOLOGICAL DESCENDANTS OF ABRAHAM.
Here's the old testament passages of scripture these verses in Romans 9 is referring to.
Romans 9:9) For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.
OT reference.
Genesis 17:16-21.
Genesis 18:10-14.
Here we see the promise of Issac taking place and the child of the flesh that also Metaphorically represents the works of the flesh refused. Why? It's not according to God's purpose!
Note;
Abraham had 6 other sons by Keturah, "his concubine" Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah:
These are also children of the flesh.
Romans 9::10-11
And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;
(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
OT reference. Genesis 25:21-23
Isaac blesses Jacob and Esau.
Genesis 27:29
Genesis 27:37.
This has nothing to do with Salvation in regards of Limited Atonement, The Church or Replacement theology.
Galatians sums this up.

Again. thanks for your input.
I will take your input as a help to me. We can continue to speak on these matters. I just do not want to go into days and weeks of back and forth on one or two aspects of what is being discussed because that tends to take us far away from the overall content of what is being presented. I want to be generous to you and to hear you out, so again, I thank you and truly appreciate your conversation with me.
I am into a busy week for me here at the house, so I will be reading and considering what your responses and learn from you as I continue in my research and writing on the topics from the somewhat flexible outline I have in mind for my postings. Above all these things, I will be prayerful and seeking wisdom in God's Word, as we all should do. I am not looking to cause arguments on any of these topics and my motive is truly to present what I have learned so far on these topics. We are certainly learning the things of God all of our life and along the way we need to make adjustments, refinements, and even complete turn-arounds on our own views as we are led and taught with the guidance of the Holy Spirit from Scripture.
