    Part 2

Now the most interesting and simultaneously misterious is what Paul writes in verses 6 and 7. It says about someone or something that withholds or hinders the antichrist to make his appearance. Although those words like "withholding" or "not letting in"or "hindering" can be found in many translations and interpretations of the Bible, the actual word the greek text uses is "Katechon" which actually means one "who aquires or has in his/her possesion something". Who is this and what is it that he has in his possesion? Many theories have existed through the centuaries about that. Many of the first 3-4 centuaries AD christians thought it was the Roman rule and when it was going to collapse the antichrist would grab the chance to establish his rule. But that turned out to be wrong. So many theories emmerged. The protestants said it was the Pope, the catholics said it was Luther, the ortodoxes said it was all the others, many christians said it was Mohamed, and so on, evebody attributed that lovely title to their dearest enemy. But again everything turned to be historically wrong. But there was a theory from the very early time that it is now accepted by many as the most possible. It is what the pretrib christians believe. "Him" is the "Holly Spirit" and what He posseses is the "church". When Jesus comes in the air, the Spirit will resurrect the dead saints and transform the living ones and handle them to Jesus in the air, and they will remain in Heaven until He comes back on earth with all His saints and angels to end all things.

    This is my belief too.

    Part 3

The order of events in the end times as I know them are, briefly. Right or wrong, this is how I have it.

a The rapture of the church just before anticrist makes his appearance in the world. The Bema Seat. The presence of church on earth is what hinders him to appear. Time and date unknown. People are dealing with their everyday lifes as usually, unsuspected for what is coming to the world.

    b. The 7 year period that antichrist rules on earth. Tribulation, cataclysmic events, mark of the beast, persecutions and slaughterings, salvation of Israel, etc etc. People are scared to death because of all those events and the ones yet to come. Life on earth becomes litterally a hell.

    c. End of those 7 years. Jesus' 2nd coming with the church and His angels and those who were slaughtered during the great tribulation. Fight at Armaggedon. Distruction of antichrist's army.

    d. Millenium, Christ and His church rule on earth on the people survived all those events. Satan is sent to the Bottomless Pit (greek Abyss)

    e. End of millenium. Satan is freed. People revolte once more against God and get distructed.

    f. Resurrection of all people of all times. The Final Judgement/White Throne. The saints also will judge, even fallen angels.

    g. New heavens and earth are created. God lives together with His people.

Oh how well you put that ! That was excellently explained thankyou . I do still believe that the lessons from the O.T. and of course , all the prophecies ( fulfilled and unfulfilled ) are there for our help and guidance in bringing us closer to our God . For me , as a Christian , it is the mind / heart of Christ , that we should be cultivating in ourselves that is key . He came to be our example , and it is him that we need to be following in our words and deeds and thoughts and feelings .

Please, read it again. Break it down, James 5:16, "confess your faults" "one to another" "and pray for one another" "that you may be healed" "the effectual fervert prayer" "of a righteous man" "availeth much"

Going back a few scriptures also James 1:13,14,15, is any among you sick?

Confession to an effectual praying righteous man. Praying for one another to be healed. It seems to say, someone you know is righteous that has results when they pray. Especially for healing.

Sometimes we just need to admit to others we've been wrong, fallen short, struggle, messed up, etc. Sometimes when we just admit simple faults, there is freedom & inner healings. I don't think it's biblical or wise to give detailed accounts of sin. Ephesians 5,

There are believers that believe they also minister to creatures. Interestingly there are many events in Scripture that show obedience to GOD ALMIGHTY & even accountability. Starting with Genesis 9:5, Proverbs 12:10, 1Samuel 6:7-15, 1Kings 13, Numbers 22, Daniel 6, Isaiah 65:25, Isaiah 11:6-9,

Hi Mr. Bowman, you're asking about 2Thessalonians 2:3, it starts with 2Thessalonians 2:1-2, the coming of Lord,._. Please notice this is the 2nd letter to the Thessalonians, following up on the discussion in 1Thessalonians 4:13-18, also following the words of Jesus.

It seems the "great falling away" may be as Jesus explained with the seed, parable. When they face trouble, not rooted in good soil; Please look at Matthew 13:6,20,21, notice Jesus says we will go through "the great tribulation" Matthew 24:21,22,29, Matthew 24:30, in context please read both full chapters, also please look at : Revelation 6:9-11, if Jesus says endure to the end, Matthew 24:13, 2Peter 3:3-14, 1Peter 5:2-11, Hebrews 12:23-29, Hebrews 10:35-39, Colossians 1:23,

    1Peter 1:2-9, Jude 1:24,

The law is for unbelievers as is established by those ruling in authority. So if we are truly in Christ; we have a new nature and hence Christ is our Lord; Savior and Master. Thence the use of the law as our tutor or schoolmaster; as it were has driven us to the King of Glory; and hence caused the old man to have it's death sentence; although not completed until our physical body is destroyed; or transformed into an immortal one at the Rapture/Resurrection. The essense of the law is Christ; hence so that even if we were to externally fulfill it perfectly; our inner motives; as well as those things we neglect to do are still held against us if we don't have the Holy Spirit and a new heart within. We cannot therefore love the law if the giver of the law is not the source of our life.

We need also to remember that the "lawless one" is coming in the form of Antichrist for all those who didn't LOVE the truth (see Thessalonians). It is God's holiness and rightousness which established the law in the first place. We need to be cautious to differentiate between those who would attempt to add law onto grace and those who would try to eliminate those commandments that were established to everyone in the world (not murdering; not commmitting adultery) and those things peculiar to the nation of Israel at the time (such as ceremonial laws and the Sabbath Day.) Only those things such as mentioned with foods in Acts; and not having one day over another; and the fact that the Jesus is Lord over the Sabbath can be totally removed. We surely must love God with all our being and our neighbor as ourself. Again; we are told that we must exceed the rightousness of the Pharisees and that is only through Christ within. Not one "jot nor tittle" shall fail as to the Word of God. We all still reap what we sow; to the flesh or the Spirit. So we must live in the Spirit we cannot live in anarchy; and are told to obey the rules whenever possible in society at peace with men.

This Psalm (29) reminds us of the great shakings that went on with the prophet Elijah in 1 Kings 19. It is also to Psalm 18 and 114. Verse 3 and verse 10 show God over the waters (as in Creation) and over the flood in Noah's time; directing the earth's cataclysm. The reference to the Cedars of Lebanon are also mentioned in Isaiah 14:8 among other references. They can symbolically refer to the armies or powers over the area; much as is seen in Ezekiel 26 which describes the souls of the pagan nations in Sheol from many nations.

Verse 9 describes the calves; and how God works in the reproduction process. This surely can be seen in the many passages of Job that describe the wonders of nature as to Leviathan; for example.

This is a demon that comes out of the bottomless pit. Satan utilizes him to embody the Antichrist who then appears to resurrect; kill the two prophets; and then initiate the worship of the beast who appears to be invincible. The name of the demon is "Apollyon" or "Abaddon" likely the demon that was over the Greek empire; certainly one that has been imprisoned as many have that are let out temporarily during the Tribulation. Thus; those times will indeed be worse than ever has or ever will be as Jesus warned in the Gospels.

From what I understand, believers in Christ are no longer under the Old Testament law. But isn't the fruit of the indwelling spirit to be the NT teachings, not to do an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth? That the law is fulfilled in one word: to love thy neighbor as thyself ( Galatians 5:14).

So it's not that we have to worry about turning from sin (the law is covered), but the NT teachings must dwell within a Christian or else the truth is not in him ( 1 John 2:3).

every man, woman& i personally believe some animals are born with emotions, or what we humans call feelings happiness,loneliness,sadness,love,etc.etc. these are gifts of God, the Lord has them and we have them. its only the knowledge of good&evil in us all as imperfect humans and do apply it to a perfect gift that we ourselves create a sinful result. when we are mad and apply humanism to it we are mad then angry then RAGE that's a sin, sadness to depression, like someone, love them then LUST after them is a sin that we create. you can just about apply every natural emotion with a unnatural feeling that we take to the extreme

    THESSALONIANS 2:3

This chapter is discussed often, I have a question:

Thessalonians 2:3 .....except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be REVEALED, the son of perdition.

    QUESTION:

What do we fall away from, so he can be revealed?

    God Bless You!
