Psalm 35; once again describes the state of David in distress; trusting God to defend him as well as encouraging those who support his righteous cause (v. 27). Once again; the interplay of the prophetic is so intertwined with David's own experiences and that of the Messiah that it is hard to find examples where one or another can definitively be extricated from the dialogue.

We find examples such as verse 11 discussing false witnesses; and verses 16 through 18 about "hypocritical mockers" and particularly verse 17 about rescuing the "darling" from the lions is definitely directed toward Christ at the crucifixion as seen in Psalm 22:20.

The "Aha, aha" theme is seen in Psalm 40 and 70; and also Ezekiel 36:2 in regard to the capture of the ancient heights from the north in the last days (likely the Golan Heights area).

Whether with an individual or the nation of Israel; God will bring victory for the remnant who are truly faithful according to His many promises. Going back to earlier in the Psalm in verses 5 to 6 we see how the angel of the Lord persecutes the wicked leading them to destruction. We see in 1 Chronicles 21 how an angel was sent to cause wholesale destruction. We do well to heed to the fact that God is in charge of all things; and in a sense creates good and evil for His purposes. Isaiah 45:7 and Amos 3:6 discuss these things; calamity is under God's liimitations. Let us be under chastisement not judgment; and let us fall on the Rock rather than being crushed by it! ( Matt. 21:44).

lets pray To God to Give us Understanding His word is pure than gold more to be desired Amen.
  • Duncan - In Reply - 3 years ago
    Hi,

Purely it is a gift from God right and he gives it to whoever right so you cant teach to anyone how to have a gift which only God give freely now lets us look at this event when the prophet prayed that his servants eyes my be open and there ware Gods angles and Saturn angles involved.

    - 2 Kings 6:17-20

17 And Elisha prayed, "Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see." Then the Lord opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

(As only the servant of God was able to see but Prayed)

    so lets look at

    - 1 Timothy 4:1

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; , now as we can see The church leaders are

(However, the leadership seems to push "speaking in tongues" over the basics of Christianity) This is not what Jesus said, he said preach not enforce and as you have mention speaking in tongues is the gift which comes by the grace of God not by men telling you to speak or now is the time to speak.

This leadership is purely emphasizing their own lie which is not scriptural and the fact that is written in the latter days they will be such teaching which indicates they have departed from the faith or to put more basic they don't teach the word of God

Which we know faith camas by hearing and by hearing the word the word of God

(So they are giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils)

    and lastly

    Acts 2:4

4.The ware filled with the Holy Spirit and started speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave them Utterance

note the Two Things here Filled and then they ware given utterance

as the writer has pointed out the church leaders are forcing this on people its not from God

so there are only two things either with God or Saturn

    2 Kings 6:16

And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

we see the two kingdom brought out to the

    Dear Christina,

    I will pray for you.

Dear LORD God, help bring the person who is misusing Christina's credit card to justice and put an end to this crime. We ask that all unauthorized charges to her card be rejected and that she will have no responsibility for any of these charges. We ask that all will get corrected on her account and that her credit reference will remain in good standing. We pray that the one committing this crime will be caught and not be able to do this crime on anyone anymore. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

    Dear Bob,

I understand what Jesus said about calling men Rabbi or Father. These titles were given to men and people looked to them for spiritual guidance. But I think that the point is more so that we are to look for our Heavenly Father and seek wisdom from the Holy Spirit instead of looking to these men just because they have such titles. We need to be discerning about who we choose to help us in our Christian walk.

I don't think that it is wrong for children to call their biological father "daddy" or "Dad" or "Father". Nor call one who is instructing us "Teacher" or "Rabbi". As a Kindergarten teacher I was called "teacher" often everyday when children needed help.

I think Jesus was mostly speaking about placing any human person (Rabbi, Father, teacher, mentor) in place of God and His Word or as an authority above God and His Word. The Rabbis of Jesus' day thought of themselves this way, even thinking that they were on a level to instruct God.

Psalm 34. It seems in this Psalm from interpretations that I am reading; that Amimilech was a sort of "generic" name for the Philistine's priest; whose name was "Achish". That explains why the Abimelech mentioned to be David's ally; and someone against Saul who had given him the sword that killed Goliath some time back was probably someone else.

At any rate; David feigned madness in order to escape what he surmised as enemies that wanted him dead or imprisoned. "This poor man" in verse 6 would of course be referring to David himself.

Verse 7 gives a promise of the "angel of the Lord" encamping around the rightous; and apparently there are about 100 verses on that subject (some of which such as Joshua represent a "Christophene" or a preincarnate manifestation of Christ. Once again verse 7 and verse 11 we see benefits as in other passages for those who fear the Lord; and verse 8 discusses the "trust" issue. Verse 10 repeats the same idea in Psalm 37 on the righteous always having bread.

Verse 18 repeats the Psalm 51 idea of a "broken and contrite spirit". Verses 16 and 21 contrast the fate of the wicked to the righteous; another repeated theme in scripture overall; particularly in the O.T. Finally; verse 20 about "keeping all his bones" is prophetic to Christ on the cross shown in most detail in Psalm 22.

Today, Psalm has really gotten me to understand that we as humans can adjust to all sins but with the help of the Lord, "though has destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever." ( Psalm 9:5), for which is why as we put our trust is it too help us to come to full understanding from the rights and goods that we must do with His help.

Well said dear Ronald. These messages from Jesus to those churches in Asia Minor may serve as examples to the leaders of churches or to churches as a whole or to any individual believer. Some believe it is a historical account of the Church from the beggining to the end. Maybe, maybe not. Nobody can be sure about that.

Love for God and our brethren must always be the motive behind any work in our spiritual lives. If that love diminishes or goes away because love for somebody/something else comes first then there is always the danger to fall away from God's way. People say, and it is right, that all people eventually follow their hearts. But God says our heart is corrupted. It is God's Word that ensures a successful life not our likenesses or loves. That is why Jesus asks us not to love a father, mother, son, daughter, even our own lives more than him (a decision we must renew every day in our lives). If we don't then we may not make it to the end, somewhere we may turn a turn. So it is not so much that God is a jealous God but He knows this is the way for us to secure a victorious ending. Personally I wish I could love God like Paul did. GBU

    Hello,

    Maybe the commentary will help:

    Link

I'm not totally certain if its a skin color or a metaphor, but I've heard this verse before be interpreted as a skin color. But just because someone says they're black doesn't mean African. There are caucasions who are very dark from being in the sun so much, for example. People then spent many hours walking outside in the sun- so I think even olive skinned Jews would have been very dark. God bless.

In Jeremiah 8:21 When he states I am black does he mean the color of his skin like black people African etc.?

Where those people of darker complexion as a group?

Does this mean something totally different?

Nicely put, I too frown on belittling , it should be met with tough Love , I found this on the web "What does the Bible say about tough love?"

Aug 10, 2022 Tough love is often necessary because, as fallen humans, we have a tendency not to respond to gentle taps on the shoulder. Our heavenly Father will do whatever is necessary to conform His children into the likeness of Christ, as He predestined us for this very reason ( Romans 8:28-30 ). Indeed, this is what His discipline is all about.

    Dear Amanda,

You are asking very important questions in this post. It would take many long posts to rightfully address these.

My suggestion to you is to go to a reputable Christian site like Got Questions or Compelling Truth to read biblically based answers to these questions you have.

My other suggestion is that you begin your quest by asking these sites: Who is God? What is He like?

In doing so, you will have a foundation to build up your learning on the other questions you have.

I hope you will get back to us on what you've learned and also for more questions. I also hope others will bring some responses to your question on this site, as well.

God gave people dominion over his world in the Bible 40 plus times?

with this in mind I asked GOD to protect the driver and his family While driving in a Motor car?

Then I lifted the bonnet of the car and could feel GODS spiritual energy flowing down my arm into the cars motor, then God told me to project his energy over the whole car, internal and external.

Firstly, the owner/driver must give permission to heal their car, so they can reap God given benefits.

The outcome was that the driver was using his subconscious mind to drive with.

The subconscious mind or GOD is in control to the extent that your mind avoids potholes, tells you if any part of your car needs repairing and informs you how to have those repairs done cheaply.

If you need a parking spot your subconscious mind will find it for you by adjusting your speed of travel so that you arrive just as the parking spot becomes available. Also, your car will never have an accident, and your fuel bill will be less and cheaper because GOD will communicate where to buy fuel.

So, by living the life GOD intends, never will your family be in danger in any and all situations as God can see the future and allows you to act accordingly.

You may find that substance abuse in the family will stop and that all participants who have their motor car prayed for will remove guns from the home.

In the Bible God Asked Gideon from 5,000 soldiers only take those to battle who drink the water and look for the enemy at the same time. If you pick up water in your hands looking for the enemy as you drink Your eyes and eyebrows are raised. GOD had direct communication with the 300 soldiers selected.
