- This song of praise should be considered as a prophecy, and even used as a prayer, for the coming of that time when all people shall know that the Lord he is God, and shall become his worshippers, and the sheep of his pasture. Great encouragement is given us, in worshipping God, to do it cheerfully. If, when we strayed like wandering sheep, he has brought us again to his fold, we have indeed abundant cause to bless his name. The matter of praise, and the motives to it, are very important. Know ye what God is in himself, and what he is to you. Know it; consider and apply it, then you will be more close and constant, more inward and serious, in his worship. The covenant of grace set down in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament, with so many rich promises, to strengthen the faith of every weak believer, makes the matter of God's praise and of his people's joys so sure, that how sad soever our spirits may be when we look to ourselves, yet we shall have reason to praise the Lord when we look to his goodness and mercy, and to what he has said in his word for our comfort.

The truth.

Missing the chance for salvation
Thanks for posting, you make some good points, but in reading your post you seem to be stating that Paul is preaching a different gospel than Jesus. Please correct me if I am interpreting your post wrong.
I believe it is very important that we understand that Paul and Jesus preached the same Gospel. This is: The Gospel of the Kingdom.
The gospel of the kingdom is the "Good News" that can be embraced by anyone who surrenders their life to Christ and begins to follow Jesus in their daily life.
Jesus talks about the Gospel of the Kingdom throughout his ministry.
Mark 1:15
"And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel."
Paul also taught the Gospel of the Kingdom.
Acts 20:25
"And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more."
It is the "same gospel" yesterday, today, and tomorrow - forever!
God Bless.
Basically it is explaining in detail how he made man.
If I want more info on the topic Im happy to help
Ex. If you have natural born kids they would be your begotten kids vs adoption because you brought them about,
Ex 2 is that of Issac was the one begotten son of Abraham even though he had other natural son, Ismael and others but Issac was the only begotten is that God's covenant, was established only through Isaac, Abraham's only son by God's promise, as well as the only son of Sarah. So he was the only member of that kind.
If u want to know about how Jesus is the only begotten son I'm happy to tell u
What do you believe it means to be the image of God.
A new creation in Christ Jesus.
As we are one, that they may be one.
Flesh and blood cannot inherit the next age.
God Bless You!
God bless.
It's just pitiful that we will suffer tremendous upheaval and many including the saints and innocent bystanders
Will become victims of this tribulation
Good luck

Concerning the gospel, you said Gods gospel is I'M going to raise all the dead back to their flesh, here on EARTH, none of them KNOW ME, I need WORKERS for my vineyard. RIGHTEOUS JUDGES, to bring all the lost into my kingdom.
You said God's gospel is Come to MY TRUTH, and be a worker, a judge; INSTEAD OF being the ONE JUDGED.
I see no mention of the cross, or the death and resurrection of Christ! INFACT NO MENTION OF JESUS AT ALL!
And you call what we believe "is man's doctrine"!!
Another thing, when you are studying, be honest. and ask yourself, did I learn this from man, or did God teach me.
It's hard to admit that our parents, and pastors, and Sunday school teachers could have taught us wrong.
But they unknowingly were taught wrong, it becomes a chain reaction.
Just like the religions of the world teach their children from the cradle, their beliefs; these are very hard to overcome.
God Bless You!
Jesus LITERALLY says the exact same thing here in Mark 16:16. "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
Note: Baptism is a result of one believing, that's why in the second part of that verse it says he who believe not shall be damned. It doesn't say who is not baptized shall be damned, or he believe not and is not baptized shall be damned. BELIEF HERE INITIATES EVERYTHING. (An argument for another day on baptism).
You call it deception if we believe what Jesus literally said! Who deceived us, Jesus?
I don't get your reasoning; you say we are deceived, but whether we believe or not we go to heaven. Show me anywhere in scripture where deception doesn't have consequences. What's the purpose on you working so hard on changing our beliefs when believing doesn't have no bearing on salvation?
You said I never answer your question about everyone going to heaven,
No one goes to heaven in the sense that the church believes.
Nowhere in the prophecies does it teach heaven is man's abode.
It teaches a Kingdom. This why the first children missed out. They were looking for the wrong kind of kingdom.
For sixty five years I believed exactly like you believe today.
I know, you know that the Holy Spirit works in each of as as HE sees fit.
Christ shut every door, and caused me to spend hundreds of hours studying mostly the Law and Prophets.
I come to understand that repentance has more to do with coming to truth than sins of the flesh; already forgiven.
I had to repent hundreds of times.
I though I had found truth; and then a scripture would contradict what I believed, I would repent of that belief.
Then over and over repenting, till the scriptures aligned together.
What make the difference in our beliefs is whether we are in the first resurrection of the second resurrection.
I can tell you from my experience in the Holy Spirit teaching me; until I repented of my belief in hell, and that all would be children of God, very little truth was revealed to me.
This took two years.
All the answer to Revelation are in God's word.
We are Brothers.
God Bless YOU!
What does Mark 9:43 mean?
Jesus' words about a vague sin committed by a concrete body part parallels how scholars at that time spoke of concrete sins committed by an abstract body part, such as the heart. In Jesus' manner of speaking, the emphasis is placed on the choice, the action, and the responsibility of the perpetrator. The "hand" is a metaphor for the way in which the heart may lead the person to do something sinful. [like don't send your 5yr old into the house to get daddy another beer]
The transition from Jesus' warning about causing others to sin in verse 42 is not as abrupt as it appears. Just as our heart may cause our hand to commit a sinful act, so it may cause a child or a younger Christian to commit a sinful act. Both require that we take serious steps to prevent our hearts from sinning.
The term translated as "hell" in English is literally tn geennan. This is a reference to the Valley of Hinnom, the dump outside of Jerusalem where animal carcasses and other waste was burned. During the times of the worst idolatry in Israel, parents sacrificed their children to Molech by placing them in glowing-hot metal statues ( Jeremiah 7:31; 19:5; 32:35). Good king Josiah tore down the altars and dedicated the valley to the burning of offal ( 2 Kings 23:10).
To "enter life" doesn't refer to being born. As "hell" means eternal punishment, "life" means eternal paradise for those who are saved by Christ. Jesus isn't giving a detailed description of eternity, here. Like in Matthew 5, He's illustrating how impossible it is to keep from sinning. Our resurrected bodies will not reflect the hardships we experienced in this life. Paul describes our new bodies as imperishable, glorified, and empowered ( 1 Corinthians 15:42-49)
The Word of God is full of those who had to make very difficult decisions to obey and follow God, no matter what. My wife reminded me that I should not 'judge' her since I sin every day too. I reminded her that's true, but the difference is the fact that my daily sins/transgressions vary in nature and frequency. The sins of those described in Corinthians and Thessalonians involve a lifestyle choice and a flagrant disregard for the things (commands, ordinances) of God. Those others in the class know of her situation and are concerned also. I'm trying to contact our Pastoral staff and find out what they recommend. Personally, I think this calls for tough love. Matthew 13 refers to Christ's parable of the wheat and tares. Maybe this is the one that leaves an 'out' for those uncomfortable with the topic of church discipline. May God help us and enlighten us by His Holy Spirit to learn the differences and proper utilization of them within the church itself.
Thanks for your reply.
Right now, were talking not sharing scripture. OK? We don't agree on scripture at all. I can respect a conversation with you if you desire to have it. Alex doesn't talk to me; he responds to me, but Hes actually is talking to the forum.
I believe you are responding after reading what I wrote to sister Gigi. "But I will read and perhaps engage if he or Earl gave an answer to what I've asked several times."
Again, here is what I'm asking.
"If a every sinner goes to heaven whether they believe or not, why is it that they work so hard to pitch their point of view. Why is it so important to them that their message is accepted when salvation is never at stake?
We believe what we preach is vital to salvation and one's salvation is at stake pending on one's belief.
Your belief is the complete opposite, (all will be saved no matter what.)
You stated. "God GOSPEL is, I'M going to raise all the dead back to their flesh, here on EARTH, none of them KNOW ME, I need WORKERS for my vineyard. RIGHTEOUS JUDGES, to bring all the lost into my kingdom.
God's gospel is Come to MY TRUTH, and be a worker, a judge; INSTEAD OF being the ONE JUDGED"
You also stated We " you and Alex" ALSO were ONCE DECEIVED.
You state this as if there is a condition to being saved when you say "INSTEAD OF being the ONE JUDGED" but you say all is going to be saved!
You are conscious of one being deceived. So what? according to you deception doesn't keep you out of Hell anyway. There's no need to believe anything, just live. Whether you kill or be killed, whether you worship and honor God or an Idol it makes no difference, we all suffer the same fate.
My question is WHY DOES YOU PREACH A MESSAGE THAT DOESNT MATTER?
And again, Earl no scriptures. We don't agree on scripture. just an explanation.
I'm standing by.
Wonderfully stated. I too commit myself today in the way you did. It is only with God's help and grace and power that we can do this. We are unable to do so on our own. That is why we come to Jesus first and then sanctification and determination to commit to God all of our ways comes because the Holy Spirit is now indwelling us and our ready help and creator of the new creation we now are in Jesus.
I believe that Jesus was using hyperbole to emphasize the gravity and deadly nature of sin. Is it better to enter heaven without a body part that drug one into sin or enter hell with all of our body still intact? I do not think he meant this to be done literally anymore than he meant we should lose our life to gain it by committing suicide or have someone else slay us. He was value of eternal life in Him and the need to trusty in Him to raise us from the dead if we indeed should loose our life. So we should not fear dying as an excuse to not follow God's lead in our life. This is the attitude the apostles and other martyrs had when being severely persecuted for their faith and endured torturous deaths for the sake of not renouncing Christ. We have a sense of self-preservation built into us by God. It is a good thing. But when it comes to a choice between committing grave sin to spare our own life, we are to refuse to do so, thus overriding the self-preservation/survival mode of our being and body.
Paul said, "I die daily". He was not saying he physically died and was resurrected each day, but that he daily put to death the sinful nature by the power of Christ residing in him by the Holy Spirit. I pray to have this attitude like Paul, to be so intent on living a godly life set apart from sin that I access in every circumstance the power over sin that is ours in Christ. But He also knows that we will fail even as we are being further sanctified by the Holy Spirit. That is why John says in 1 John 1:9 that God wis faithful and just and will forgive us when we repent and confess our sins. It is encouraged in Scripture to examine ourselves daily with the "lens" of the Holy Spirit to expose our sins. Therefore, we die daily as we put to death our sinful nature daily through the grace of God that brings both repentance and forgiveness to us. How wonderful is that!
Only with God's power can we cannot overcome sin in our life.
Those things you SEEK.
Knowing the WILL of God answers what YOU SEEK.
Matthew 6:10 Thy Kingdom come. Thy WILL BE DONE.
Luke 17:21 ....Behold, the kingdom of God is WITHIN YOU.
Colossians 1:27 ....this mystery ......Christ in you .....
1 John 5:11 This is the record, that God hath GIVEN TO US ETERNAL LIFE, and THIS LIFE is his SON (the Holy Ghost).
Philippians 2:13 For it is GOD (Christ in you, eternal LIFE) that WORKETH IN YOU (you are his body and he is the LIFE, not you, him) both TO WILL and TO DO his (the LIFE's) good pleasure.
John 14:6 ....I am truth and life ....
Christ himself, in the form of the Holy Ghost, THE SEED of God, is the Life in YOU, causing you HIS BODY to Do his good pleasure.
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God (truth and life) doth not commit sin, for HIS SEED remaineth in him (you, his body), and he (you, his body) cannot sin, because he (you, his body) is born of God.
Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come (it's HERE, Christ in you), thy will be done.
Peace has arrived.
Ezekiel 36:27 And I will put my spirit (Christ's LIFE) in you, and CAUSE you (my body) to walk in my statutes, and to keep my commandments and DO THEM.
Hebrews 4:10 For he (the body of Christ) that has entered into MY REST (God's Kingdom, Christ's Life)) has CEASED from his OWN WORKS .....
God Bless You.
It says, dont tell me you dont have options, it says I can give you at least one theoretical solution.
It says, if you have trouble not sinning, you might have a way to do it, it just might be hard.
It does perhaps call on one to make a greater sacrifice.
But consider the implications.
I have a body part which likes to sin.
Should I cut it off yes or no?
You have already made your answer a clear yes, because as you have said Hell is very real literal Hell.
Is that sane?
So I do have another alternative, I can cut off the things which enter my mind instead of cutting off my hands - that's sane, that's normal, I can feel comfortable explaining to people that I practice that.
But why call it cutting off your hands if you only meant cut off the things which enter my mind?
.....She brought forth a man Child that is gonna rule ALL NATIONS....Which is the H.G...The spirit of truth the gift of God....ok lemme go...luv ya
In knowing Your will, O God, I am encouraged to press through all opposition, so that your will might be fulfilled in me.
Help me, I pray, to stop excusing my attitudes and actions. I alone am responsible for what I do today.
Help me to forget the errors of yesterday while I live to the fullest today, to Your glory. Help me not to be anxious about tomorrow but to be assured that by living today within the will of God, tomorrow shall be even better than today.
I do now commit myself to You Lord, trusting You for the needs of today. In Jesus' name.
This isolation and repetition of a closed system of gene transmission would produce characteristics specific to each isolated people groups that distinguished them from other isolated groups. This would lead to different "races". But in reality, humans are all one race with consistent variations of characteristics that distinguish them as only human, just like the variations in horses are present but they are all horses, though different breeds created either through natural genetic transmission between an isolated group or manipulated by man.
We are all humans created by God possessing the His image in a way that is not well explained in Scripture. Knowing that we all have this quality placed in us by God we can understand that we are different than the animals in abilities and in intrinsic value. This is why God emphasizes to us to value and protect human life and to avoid ending anyone's life through murder or gross negligence. He says this to Noah ( Genesis 9:6) and through Moses ( Exodus 20:13) and through Jesus ( Matthew 5:21-22).
Jesus even expands this commandment by not actual murder, but by hating another or dehumanizing another person.
We are to love our neighbor as ourselves and do good to others, avoiding harming them. We are to be compassionate and caring towards others regardless of their "looks", ethnicity, or status. We are to be welcoming of those that are not from our "area", treating them justly.
