    Hi Michael.

OOPS I sent that off by mistake.

    I wasn't done.

Jeremiah 22 is dealing these Kings and rulers. He warned them about the way they were getting rich and not feeding the flock.

Verses 13-17 we have a Warning about Jehoiakim

    "Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour's service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;

That saith, I will build me a wide house and large chambers, and cutteth him out windows; and it is cieled with cedar, and painted with vermilion.

Shalt thou reign, because thou closest thyself in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him?"

He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? saith the LORD.

But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.

Jeremiah 23:1-2 Picks back up on that criticism.

Jeremiah 23:3-7 tells that there is better days ahead.

In the Millennium kingdom the Lord "The Chief Shepherd" and "king of kings" will set on the throne and rule his kingdom.

I concur with Gigi you see Christ rebuttal of the rulers this in Matthew 23 and Luke 11:37-54. and you'll find more of what Christ has to say about the Kingdom in Matthew 13.

    God bless

If we look at condemnation such as Zechariah 11:17 we see how the "worthless shepherd" or the Antichrist will be allowed to have authority in the future end times. This is equivalent to the "son of perdition" which stood for both Judas Iscariot and the coming Antichrist. Thus; those who would be part of the establishment and hierarchy of false religion at some point will be found to be reprobate ( Matt. 7:16). Fruits; therefore are the result of either a bad seed or heart condition or that of good seed producing good fruit.

When we look at passages such as Luke 19:8 with Zaccheus; certainly someone who was a corrupt tax collector or just happened to have a job that was despised could reform their ways; such as a teacher who is caught up in error and corrected by His brother ( James 5:19). This speaks of individuals who are granted repentance and come to realize Christ as Lord and Savior. This differentiates Christ's preaching of a general call nature and the parables hiding truth from the "wise" and revealing it to "babes" (see Matt. 11:25 as an example). In the general call we see a railing accusation against Pharisees and the lawyers of the time as we see in Matthew 23. We must remember that God can "choose their delusions" ( Isaiah 66:4) so that at some point men's hearts can be hardened beyond hope. Only the Lord knows what point that is; as well as those who are His children.

As to "shepherds" or leaders of any sort; of course there is harsher judgment for them than others. We see this with the denouncement of those who are "sons of hell" themselves and the resulting disciples who are twice as bad ( Matthew 23:15).

Teachers of Gospel truth also have this principle ( James 3:1). The case of a believer vs a non believer separates the results; of course from that of hellfire and suffering loss of reward. Nonetheless; the principle stands.

Michael Jer 23 is a prophecy written for the times we live in today, in many verses in that chapter the Lord speaks of people not keeping, not teaching, and even stealing and changing His Words. And the LORD is against these prophets in whom He says prophesy lies, and they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart. Jer 23:16 says they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD. Jer 23:36 Tells us they (perverted) the words of the living God. The word (perverted) is #2015; it means to change. ALL modern version Bibles have (changed) the Words of the living God!

    Spiritual Truth - Part 1

The Word of God teaches us in 1 Cor. 2:14 that the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned.

This is why those communicating their messages in this 'forum' so often use the word 'discerning' while the 'Word of God' is not of any private interpretation ( 2 Peter 1:20). This is why it also teaches; that anyone that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man ( 1 Cor. 2:15).

Please remember, the words from the 'Word of God' are according to the 'Spirit of Truth' ( John 14:17). Furthermore, the Spirit of truth cannot be received by this world ( John 14:17) as this whole world has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9).

May we suggest you search the words 'a world deceived' an learn how you may know the difference between the 'natural' and the 'spiritual' body ( 1 Cor. 15:44) and how and by whom this whole world has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9).

Seek, and ye shall find ( Matthew 7:7).

It is God's will for all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth ( 1 Timothy 2:4), but not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven ( Matthew 7:21).

Many will say unto me that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? ( Matthew 7:22).

And then will I profess unto them I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity ( Matthew 7:23). If you would like to know who by nature your Father is, may we suggest you read John 8::43-45.

Page 2. The word (intimate) means a familiar friend, companion, or guest, one who has close social relations with another or others. (So as we can see there is nothing negative about those who are (taken) but it is very positive! Col 3:4 Tells us "When Christ who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye appear with him in glory. (Those who are (taken) will appear with Him in glory. Now a look at the same event told in the book of Luke. Lu 17:34-37 v.36 Tells us "Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be (taken), and the other left. The word (taken) here has the same meaning, remember a familiar friend, it even tells us in the meaning "to assume an office" If those taken were taken for judgment would they be considered a familiar friend? NO they would not! Would they be assuming an office? NO they would not. Now in Lu 17:37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the (body) is, thither will the eagles be gathered together. The word (body) is #4983; it means the body, (as a sound whole) "safe", to save, i.e. deliver or protect, heal, preserve. Does the meaning of the word (body) sound like its going to judgment? Or does it sound more like a familiar friend who is going to assume an office, maybe like the (body of Christ)? Now where will the church be (taken)? Rev 19:7-9 Tell us the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. v.9 Tells us Blessed are they which are (called) unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. Remember the church, the elect are called out, called (forth) to call aloud. That does not sound like a secret rapture! When Jesus returns riding a white horse in Rev 19:11-16 the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean (see Rev 19:14) The wife, the bride of Christ, the church, the elect who were (called) who were at the marriage supper of the Lamb was also clothed in fine linen, clean and white, (see Rev 19:8) and return with Him

    Michael Warner:

God's Word is full if warnings about the teachings and work's of man.

The only TRUE pastor of the sheep is Christ.

    THE WAY is Christ.

We have to UNDERSTAND and BELIEVE what Christ's resurrection ACCOMPLISHED.

YOU DIED on the cross with Christ.

YOU were resurrected with Christ; A NEW CREATION, there was ONLY ONE BODY that was resurrected 2000 years AGO, that BODY was Christ, you SHARED that resurrection with Christ, YOU ALSO became the BODY of Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:27 .... You are the body of Christ .....

Colossians 1:27 ..... this MYSTERY (of the resurrection) .....Christ IN YOU ......

You and Christ became ONE at that resurrection, Christ is now the LIFE in YOU: your HIS BODY.

He is the SHEPHERD of YOUR BODY your body does what the shepherd wants it to do, because Christ is the LIFE in YOU.

Philippians 2:13 For it is GOD that worketh in you (the new creation) both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.

This truth has to become REAL in YOU; as this TRUTH becomes REAL TO YOU, you WILL SEE with different eyes.

Psalms 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the DEATH of his saints.

You have to BELIEVE God' s word: you DIED: only CHRIST exist, you share that by BEING HIS BODY.

Until then, you body is being lead by by whats described in Jeremiah 23:1-4

1 Timothy 6:16 Christ ONLY hath IMMORTALIY, dwelling in the light ....

1 Corinthians 15 ... this mortal (YOU) shall PUT ON IMMORALITY ..... death is swallowed up in VICTORY .....

You caught up, raptured, translated, into THE PRESENCE of GOD, to forever be the IMAGE of CHRIST, a SON OF GOD.

    God Bless YOU!

    Michael,

The "shepherds" of Jesus' day were the priests, scribes, Pharisees, Sadducees, and the Sanhedrin, all religious leaders for the Jews in Jerusalem.

Jesus denounced them strongly again and again in his interactions with them saying they were leading these people sinfully. You can read of this in Matthew 23. Luke 11:37-54.

Page 1) The church is the body of Christ, we are told this in Eph 1:22-23 The word (church) is #1577; it means a calling out, to "call" aloud, bid, call (forth) (whose sur-) name was called. (So the church, the (body) of Christ will be called out, called (forth) to "call" aloud, that don't sound like a secret rapture does it?). Now in Col 3:12,15 We are told of the (elect) which also ye are (called) in one (body). The word (elect) is #1588; it means select, by implying favorite, chosen, elect, to select, make choice, choose (out) chosen. The word (called) is #2564; it means to "call" a loud, bid, call (forth) whose name was called. (So those who are called out are the elect, His chosen ones whose name He will call out loud.) Mk 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the (elect's) sake, WHOM HE HATH (CHOSEN), he hath shortened the days. The word (chosen) is #1586; it means to select, make choice, choose (out) chosen (The elect are His chosen ones) When will this calling out happen? 1Thes 4:16-17 Tells us the Lord will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God, and we will meet Him in the clouds. This would be when the church is called out, the calling aloud of His chosen ones the elect happens. In 1Thes 4:16-17 There are 3 main points to look at. (1) we meet Him (IN THE CLOUDS) (2) a (trumpet sound). (3) a (gathering together). Now look at Mt 24:29-31 We see a (1) (coming in the clouds) (2) a (sound of a trumpet) (3) a (gathering together, of His ELECT) These are the SAME EVENT! And it happens "IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION" Mt 24:39-42 Tells us one will be (taken) v,40 says "Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be (taken), and the other left. The word (taken) is #3880; it means to receive near, i.e. associate with oneself (in any familiar or intimate act or relation), to assume an office. The word (intimate) means a familiar friend, See page 2.

    Hi Ernie.

Please allow me to correct a mistake I made.

I mentioned to you to take

Luke 17:34-37 and Parallel it with Revelation 19:11-18 Focusing on vs 17. On your way to verse 17 notice verrse 14.

    Revelation 19:14.

"And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, CLOTHED IN FINE LINEN, WHITE AND CLEAN.

This is also prophesied in Jude 1:14.

These clothed in fine linen is the same group in

    Revelation 19:7-8.

"Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

    (8) And to her was granted that SHE SHOULD BE ARRAYED IN FINE LINEN, CLEAN AND WHITE: FOR THE FINE LINEN IS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF SAINTS.

I left out one of the connecting verses. ( Vs 8.)

These are a few of the connecting verses why we believe the Church comes with Christ on his second coming.

    Luke 17:37.

    Revelation 19:17.

    Jude 1:14.

    Revelation 19:7-8.

    God bless.

1Kings 1:43 says king David anointed Solomon to be the next king of Israel. I would have been there as one of 50 men by Adonijah's side saying "Who cares what evil king David decreed?" "Who does God want to be king over Israel?" By this point in asking questions like this would have caused evil king Solomon to have your head off lopped off. Deeds not words. After reading through the Kings & Chronicles... I don't see a more evil trio than the murderous, adulteress king David, his adulteress, murderous wife Bathsheba & their kid Solomon. Hundreds of wives between them how many children did these two evil men spawn?

    Am I missing something?

Sometimes I seriously wonder if I am truely saved. I still can't seem to break free from certain sinful habits. Also, I made numerous stupid sinful decisions in my youth, for which I will probably always have to deal with the consequences. I experience and enjoy very little of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit on a daily practical basis. I am basically a barren wilderness, many times sad, depressed and confused on why I cannot rest fully satisfied in Jesus Christ.

Will the Holy Spirit be here during the tribulation period? If I'm not mistaken I have heard many of those who believe in the pre-tribulation rapture say the Holy Spirit will leave the earth or be taken away at the same time the rapture of the church happens, and this will be before the tribulation period starts. So there would be no Holy Spirit on the earth for what they say will be a 7 year tribulation period. If we read Mk 13:3-11 we see Jesus answering the question of what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled, This is the same question asked in Mt 24:3 just worded in a different way. Mk 13:5,8,11 v.5 Tells us "take heed lest any man deceive you" (This is the first warning of Jesus, there will be much deception during this time period). v.8 Tells us that nation will rise against nation, it also says there will be famines and (troubles) this verse tells us these are the beginning of sorrows. Now Mk 13:11 Tells us we will be delivered up, and that we should take no thought beforehand what we shall speak , ((for it is not ye that speak but the Holy Spirit)). Just 3 verses after this in Mk 13:14 we see the abomination of desolation standing where it ought not, this will start great tribulation, the last half of the 7 year period) If I'm wrong and this is not a pre-trib rapture belief then I do apologize for that. But if that is what pre-tribers believe then this is proof using Scripture that the Holy Spirit is on the earth during the first half of the tribulation period, which is called the beginning of sorrows. That would mean the Holy Spirit did not leave with the church, IF the church had been raptured before the tribulation.

Along with what Jesse said, those who take the mark of the beast will be expected or forced to worship the beast. Therefore, they will be idolators and non-believers in Jesus Christ. These will be what is used to condemn them to the lake of fire forever.

Christina, I would not tell others about your gift. I would just work with the Holy Spirit to utilize it properly. In time, id you do use it properly by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you may hear people tell you things like, "you are very discerning, or you show a lot of mercy (which is what the empathy is called). Hearing these things from others as you exercise these things properly will verify for you that these indeed are given to you by the Holy Spirit.

Understanding scripture is as important as remembering scripture. Please remember that our means are the same as Jesus in the wilderness when confronted with the devil. Jesus said, " It is written " than proceeded to quote scripture. In this Jesus pointed to His Father, and He reminds us to receive life, don't temp, and worship GOD.

Keep reading and planting the Word of God in yourself. This Word will work in ways that we all hoped for, as believers. Also please keep in mind that in doing so life will change, it might seem for the worse, but that is only a way of you knowing His Word is working.

It's a narrow road and few find it is worth walking. GOD'S richness to you.

Please be careful about what is called a gift. When a person has a gift, the gift giver would have provided answers to questions that are asked.

Tell no one, feeling for someone isn't a gift it's concern, care, or interest. I didn't say love because the scripture details that best.

Discernment is not for the young Christians. What I mean is mature Christians know that with that gift the Holy Spirit is very careful because to use this gift, a relationship with God's Holy Spirit is vital. Please tell no one and keep in mind the gift giver is really the one who we discuss matters with. The scripture has All the answers to your questions. Finding them Will take time in the Word and in prayer.

    Hi Ernie.

I will give you my view and I will extend to vs 37.

vs 36-37 is where the answer is.

"Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, THITHER WILL THE EAGLES BE GATHERED TOGETHER.

    Now parallel it with.

Revelation 19:11-18. "focusing on vs 17."

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

( vs14) And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, CLOTHED IN FINE LINEN, WHITE AND CLEAN.

    (Parallels with; Jude 1:14.)

Those clothed in fine linen is the same group in Revelation 19:7.

THIS GROUP IS THE BRIDE OF CHRIST. THE CHURCH!!

    15) And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

    16) And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

    17) And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the FOWLS THAT FLY IN THE MIDST OF HEAVEN, COME AND GATHER YOURSELVES TOGETHER unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

THIS GROUP IS TAKEN FOR JUDGMENT.

This is after the tribulation and the Church comes with him, They were raptured atleast 7 years prior.

Those left goes on into the Millennium. Those taken, Judgment as well in Matthew 24.

    God bless.
