Dear Starbux, in peace. What you write is so true. We must not just make rules that suit ourselves. And with which we may also be able to rule over other people.

At the latest in the morning hours today before I read your post, the Holy Spirit reminded me to pray for all who have not yet entered into His rest. And something central came to me, namely: Nothing we have we got from ourselves. There is a greater meaning: Nothing we have received, whether poor or rich, has NOT BEEN GIVEN TO US everything is FROM THE LORD.

So how is man to save himself at all when they do not see the Lord? If they see the Lord they clean them self from eval things ect.

Or what can a man add to his own and think that they got it from themselves?

    Hebrew 4 and 5 chapter.

Here you see a separation, before and after. It is God's Word that we must follow. Whether baptism represents something for one person or several. Are you going to be a man for and throw dirt at them? That they have made mistakes in the best sense? No, you also mean in the best way. We certainly know that the devil confuses everyone he can. But as in Job, we understand that even the little devils were created by God.

We must hold on to the good. We Christians are no longer of this world, but we belong to the new covenant. We are foreigners and receive grace upon grace to see over all perspectives. This is how we can preach the word in season and out of season. Because faith comes from preaching, not one opinion over another. Here God has made it easy for us in the holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ. All honor shall He have for my life. Because if I confess my sins, He is not the one who rejects me. He is the one who wants me to live. For He has saved me. Love u much in Christ. Stay strong in His word.

My daughter Ashley dated a man for 4 years who ended up cheating for 6 months emotionally, Ashley has been dragging him along for one year, he says he's changed, and she treats him in a very bitter way, my daughter needs to moves on joyfully, or if it is God's will, it needs to be mended, and they both forgive each other fully, either way I pray for their healing, protection, but obviously I want the best for my daughter, so I know God wants even better for Ashley, I trust in Him and in His will, please also pray he (C.S.) is delivered from being a liar, cheater and coward and starts continuously treating Ashley on dates, making her feel special, wanted and needed, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

    Last words on Leviticus 17

I know that God brings such things to us to draw us into holiness before Him. I am thankful He does this.

I was hoping some of you may share ways y believers demonstrate that they esteem the blood of Jesus as so precious and also ways believers can defile of profane the blood of Jesus, thus trampling it underfoot.

    Again on Leviticus 17

Then Abraham offered animal sacrifices to God for atonement of sins. God called him to offer Isaac, Abrahams beloved son of the promise of God. God did not allow Abraham to follow through with this sacrifice but it showed that the sacrifice of a beloved Son was what will truly atone for sin and cleanse mankind from sin.

Now in the wilderness, YHWH speaks more about the killing of animals and the value of the blood. He forbids them to continue to offer any sacrifices in any way but bringing them to the tent of meeting. This would keep them from offering sacrifices to pagan idols like those around them, especially to Pan/Mendes, the goat idol of fertility, which was present in Egypt and in Canaan. The Israelites were to understand that in order for their sacrifice and their meat to be clean they were to present it unto God first. This reminds me of 1 Timothy 4:3-5 which tells us that we are to give thanks to God for our food and in thus doing it is deemed clean.

But even more deep is the preciousness of the blood of Jesus, our sacrifice for sin. AS the article I mentioned above speaks to, we are to hold as precious His blood shed for us and not defile or profane it in any way. Unbelievers do this by refusing to come before God by the blood of the Lamb thinking that they can present themselves before God acceptably any other way but through the blood of Jesus. Their refusal to receive the one remedy for their fallenness that God has ordained shows that they do not see the blood of Jesus as absolutely precious and lifegiving.

We, on the other hand, know this about the blood of Jesus cleansing us and giving us life, atoning for our sin and bringing forgiveness that we do not deserve. But I wonder that there are times when believers do not esteem His blood as precious as it truly is. Do we profane it or depreciate it's value in the way we speak of act? These thoughts to me really hit home. So, I examine myself before the Lord and repent.

    More on Leviticus Chapter 17

I just finished reading a good commentary on this chapter titled, "The Preciousness of the Blood". It was such a great commentary. I recommend it. Go to Bible .org and type in the title.

I knew before reading this commentary that there was still more that God wanted me to glean from this chapter and I was thinking about the significance of singling out the blood in this chapter as being so important. so, being led to this article was a very good answer to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

God has determined before the foundation of the world that blood is precious. It is in every creature He created. It is life determining. He emphasized this in Chapter 17 of Leviticus when it came to killing animals for consumption and for sacrifice. He emphasized that these animals are to be brought before the LORD at the tent of meeting so that the priest can butcher them properly, draining the blood and sprinkling it upon the altar. God cares about every animal he created. And when one dies he knows. Death is unclean, it defiles the body of the creature that once was alive. This is a very good depiction of what sin does in us. It defiles us because it brings death to us. It makes us unclean because it causes us to decay and become unwholesome.

The blood of creatures is precious because it keeps them alive. Not only the whole body, but each part of the body needs blood or else it will die even if the whole creature still lives. Sin causes death in different aspects of our lives. It is like a lack of blood flow to a body part. Life is in the blood, as the LORD decreed.

Before creation the Godhead determined that the shedding of blood to the death of one is the means of bringing atonement from sin. whether it was the animal God sacrificed in Genesis 3 to cover Adam and Eve's "nakedness" or the sacrifices Noah made after leaving the Ark to atone for the corruption of the earth from sin that brought on the flood. Blood cleansed and atoned.

Dear Richard, I read all of your posts and find your diligence challenging. You Take a book and stay focused in it until you finish it. I started on this site a year ago with Genesis and am only in Leviticus. But we each can have our own pace as the Spirit leads us.

For me, writing out an in-depth commentary helps me, first of all, to grasp the chapter better. It works for me. I know that I write long posts and that may not be for many people's preferences. And, realizing this, I like to space such commentary posts out so that the site isn't overloaded with what I post. Trying to be considerate of others in regards to my own postings.

As for you, I think you are doing a wonderful job with your posts. they are helpful and I like reading the Scriptures from your posts. And, because they are so focused and not jumping all over the Scriptures, it helps me to increase my intake of the Word in a more systematic way, So, thank you.

This is to no one in particular:

Indeed 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 is the written gospel. You read it but NOW it is up to everyone to obey the gospel which is what Jesus spoke in John 3:3-5. Also Matthew 28:19 is fulfilled bc it is in the name of. No one was ever water baptized in the book of Acts by father, son, & Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38 is the New Testament salvation message. Water baptism remits your sins. Matthew 26:28 says the same.

We need the Holy Ghost power. Lo & behold, not everyone has the Holy Spirit just bc they believe. That's just not true. Ppl must stop making a doctrine from one verse. For ex: John 3:16 is true, however we must all start at the beginning of the chapter. And there we find what Jesus Christ spoke on in John 3:3-5, for without it we can not enter into the kingdom of heaven. All the ppl in the book of Acts were told to repent & be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Romans 10:9 is an example---call on the name of the Lord. Read Matthew 26:28, Jesus spoke, "For this is my blood of the New testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins". Hallelujah & Amen

I love God & his truth

    John 9:11

"He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight."

Is we wash our eyes with the water(Word of God) of Siloam(in Hbr Siloam it means the "one who is sent") then we will se clearly(the truth).

I appreciate your positive feedback; I get a few comments here and there. I guess it is safe to say that you are far more in depth in all the Levitical procedures with the sacrifices than I have knowledge of. Am still hoping to get someone on here for an objective analysis of my writings; usually little or no preparation other than reading the Psalm and sometimes a few minutes researching the context and setting. Same deal with general commentaries not scripture specific.

    John 8:39-41

"They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children(similarly if we are Jesus children), ye would do the works of Abraham(similarly of Christ).

But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

Ye do the deeds of your father (devil). ..."

So good to see you back here, brother Fred. And in very truth, "And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light" ( Romans 13:11,12); for indeed "our redemption draweth nigh".

Arising into heaven upward with my hands stretched out! Calling out His name as I watched and felt the power of the resurrection!

Watching the moon as the clouds opened and I felt the power of the almighty! You will only know one thing as you experience this tremendous feeling. That God cannot lie, He will do as He says! Have faith. When this happens ,it will happen quickly!

I had entered the gate to find a table set. Those around it had nothing to eat. Instead they were consumed with sound that I had turned up on their radio these who were their wanted the volume turn down. As I entered the garden, I looked up and opened my arms, and was taken up into heaven, praising His name! This is a dream I had, I hope you post! Our redemption draws nigh!

"My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change:"

For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?"

I have been away, and as many times I have wished to return ,only to be thwarted by Satan once again.

Even so with more wisdom and knowledge of those things that so easily have tried to beset us, that have and will once again bring the power that only can come from above!

Satan, once again can never ever outsmart the Holy Spirit that lives within you! If you are watching as you should, you will see that the days are fast approaching fulfilling all things that have been spoken! We who are last shall sound the trumpet unto those who have been called first! We who will be waiting in the end shall give the signal even the Spirit of truth that He has given to all who believe and know the word!

Many of you know me, and how many conversations we have had about the love of Christ! Never before can one be so emphatic to the time has come. Judgment will begin at the house of the Lord! Watch, Watch, I say to you in the name of Christ the Savior of the world!

    Amen Upendo.

I would go as far as to say when we are truly saved we should "RECOGNIZE" we have become light "THAT HAS BEEN SEPARATED FROM DARKNESS". And we should walk in that light. 1 John 1:5-7.

    God bless.

I am a sinner in so many ways that I know of and do not know. I repent and ask my fellow human beings and Almighty God to forgive me for my sins. I asking God to remove all the obstacles blocking my prayers get answered. My life has been stagnant and delayed. I have achievements in education and training, but my health conditions can't allow me to progress and attain my goals and ambitions: (I am a Medical Doctor GP, and Clinical Researcher professional), yet I am unable to even provide for myself and my family. I have been jobless for more than six(6) years now.

My prayer request is to be released from any negative spirits and powers operating in my life and health(stagnation and deployments). I want to be free as a child of God.

The word of God is so powerful, there is wisdom which comes through obedience and our relationship with God. Relate to Adam and Eve, man always wants to overtake God's power in creation and as a result is what we are experiencing today. We have created so much evil and the light is shying away from us.

    Let us remind ourselves:

Proverbs 9:10, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."
