Yes I agree those that are born of the Spirit of God and are able to worship and even pray in the Spirit to God . Those in the flesh can not .

He did instruct to pray to the father , and he also said if you ask me anything I will do it . That is all in context of being in the Holy Spirit to begin with .

Hi Bill , thankyou for that post , just wanted to say that I believe the same as you on this subject . I believe we cease to exist until Christ returns and we are ressurected . We won't be aware of any thing and won't know where we have been or for how long , why would we need to ? It would seem from the apostles letters that they expected Christ to return to earth in their lifetime . I always feel a bit sad for them as the years rolled by and I wonder if they were sad that they were having to wait so long . When they are awoken with us ,if we have also died , what a fabulous re union for them and the joy of us all shall shake the world ! May it come to pass ever so soon .

Jesus is the Son of God because he didn't have a human father , he was conceived by the power of God through God's Holy Spirit . He didn't have a biological physical father . He is also the Son of Man because he had a human mother , Mary . Mary obviously is not a man but is of mankind , a wo - man . Hope this helps .

Mishael , I think this is you . The film you are referring to is I think the T. V. show from the 1970's , it was a six part drama , 374 minutes or just over six hours long , staring Robert Powell . I have the whole thing on dvd but I just can't watch it . Too distressing for me . If you can manage to watch it in its full glory I would very much recommend you do so . I watched it as a child on British t.v. in 1977 . If you dont like crying in front of other people I advise you to watch it alone . It's fab . The wantingness to be loved by a husband or just mere companionship of others. The loneliness is hard at times. I know I'm never alone, but physically I am. Nonetheless, I must go on in Christ Jesus name. My BLESSINGS come each NEW day I am able to see the 4 walls of my home and not the 4 walls of my grave. Evil is disobeying and rebelling against God. God loved everyone enough to give everyone freewill to choose right from wrong. Think of how people would complain if they were robots without choices. Well, they aren't and not they complain when they choose evil. But most people usually only complain about the evil done to them, not the evil they do to others. They still want the freedom to commit evil which negatively impacts others. Interesting how this works.

Angels in heaven had freewill, which is why satan was banished. Adam and Eve had everything perfect but also chose evil. Evil exists because people keep choosing it willingly, and God loved them enough to allow them that choice.

To my knowledge the book of Enoch was never included in the KJV since it was only found in the 50s with the death sea scrolls. There are ample mentions of him and his writing throughout the bible though, especially the new testament.

Genesis 5:18-24. And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. This and his for the times below average lifespan of three hundred sixty and five years, everyone living about 700-1000 years in those days, mean to me that his life wasn't ended because of death, but because, as it says, God took him after Enoch walking with him, which is perfectly described in the book of Enoch.

Hebrews 11:4-5. 5 makes mention of Enoch, whom by faith was "translated". I interpret this word as him being taken by God, since he was not found due to God having translated him. For before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God, so it says, and this testimony is likely to be his writing. 4 makes mention of Abel speaking even after death, which to my knowledge isn't really explained anywhere else in the bible but is perfectly made sense of in Enoch, where he looks into the depths of the Sheol only to find Abel claiming vengeance for the murdering of him (if someone knows of any passage of the bible which also mentions this I'd be very happy to know).

I don't know much about other Apocrypha. I know, superficially, for example, that the deuterocanonical books were instilled by the catholic church and are quite contradictory with the rest of the bible, for the reasons this very same website mentions in its page about the apocrypha. I haven't read them though, so I couldn't know. I recommend the book of Enoch because sufficient mention is made of him to prove its veracity, and that it satisfies the curiosity of us creationists while also explaining, as I said, the nature of malevolence, the giants, of whom David fought one, the Lords cosmology and creation, etc.

When Jesus speaks of Children its about his Children which are the Babes and Sucklings he mentions the Prophets said he wd see his seed etc .Thats y the Sower will go forth to sow his Seed in humanity ( the field is the world ) Humanity thus there is a Baby Christ in our future which is the H.G that Child of Promise ,that was the great Promise that Christ wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven thus the Babes and Sucklings are Spirits as he said that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit which are the Children of Promise .Thats y the woman in Rev. 12 : 5 is giving birth she heard his Words ( his seed ) etc. Thats how the Kingdom will Come by a lil CHILD , Unless ya receive the Kingdom as a lil Child etc. Jesus describes 2 different kinds of Children as that which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the spirit we are that which is born of the flesh but we must be bornagain of the Spirit which is the H.G. Thats the H.G. Our new innerman but also the Kingdom has to come via his seed,the word ,the contents of the book in the fathers righthand which are the seeds of the Sower. They don't refer to Jesus as the Bridegroom for nothin he has a seed to sow in humanity thus our new birth and the Children of PROMISE . Thus everytime he refered to himself as the Son of Man he was trying to tells us mankind is gonna birth a Baby Christ, The Children of Promise are gonna be as the Stars of Heaven Thats when God Almighty swore by his very self . Thus no body can stop this multiplication of Christ after the book is opened. His seeds .

But ACTS 2:21 I believe says anyone who professes that I am Lord will be saved.

Not saying the Bible is a lie. But slightly confused by these two. One says anyone who says Me is saved. Then other says Only Lord calls His children.

After I was rattled to death in my car sustaining whiplash and broken bones muscles and brain injuries. I remain the same doomed for life with breathlessness and terminally I'll.

At least god saved my life and my girlfriend Danica Patrick will not give up on me about our future and the baseline and citrus car accident that a Marie or Maria with State Farm insurance had when she caused the baseline and citrus Ave act of terrorism. She the terrorist and her friends started out on baseline she was behind all the traffic heading East when we'll she was behind me will I was watching in my side and rear view mirrors everything she was doing. She went into oncoming traffic a police man passed by going south in citrus Ave she proceeded to run the red light going head on with a newer dark blue Volkswagen hitting the vw head on on the drivers side she continued up baseline after colliding with the dark blue vw sedan of some kind going up baseline making a u turn to the traffic she collided with where I saw her do everything and so I moved into the left turn lane to try and catch a hit and run situation l. She then blew through the baseline and citrus traffic light going west on baseline making a right turn into a neighborhood to the north of citrus and baseline and could not see her so I told my self let's go get a coffee at at one in Azusa off baseline and Azusa. Myself remained in complete control of the situation at hand where I made a left turn onto the citrus on-ramp heading westbound to the 210 freeway. The Marie or Maria terrorist was now back at a street off of citrus and baseline a bmw with gullwing doors flew by me on the citrus and baseline on-ramp at a high rate off speed. The 210 freeway was jam packed early in the morning between the hours of 8am and 10am in the morning

The Maria or Marie with State Farm insurance was to my right as I was entering the on-ramp to the 210 freeway wear something went over my vehicle after the bmw gullwing door car passed before me the Marie or Maria jaber vehicle sic of some type a strange mixed up ford or explorer the smaller type not the full size type. I was going to pull up to the one car per green.

I watched 'Jesus of Nazareth' movie yesterday. (It's on YouTube I think)

What you said made me think of that one scene where Mary Magdalene told the Disciples that Jesus had risen. Everyone struggles with their faith for a few moments. Then Thomas (doubting) remarks "women's fantasies". Which I was taught: in their culture it was a nice way of explaining PMS.

Her response was loud, "Was Jesus's death a fantasy?!"

The disciples snapped out of their doubts and went to the tomb to see for themselves.

I think all disciples of Jesus Christ (in 2021) should be respectful of other disciples, without prejudice. Paul was a career single like me. He had women helpers in his ministry. I don't know in what capacity, as he was often imprisoned, Built tents, hosted other disciples visits, or recovering from stoning and beatings.

He only asked the women to be quiet in church because they were hollering at their husbands on the other side of the aisle, "honey, what's that mean?"

Jesus said to pray to the Father , and also said ask of me , but I do not recall him instructing us to pray to the Holy Spirit .

We do work through the Holy Spirit but that's not the same .

Can you point to a specific scripture that instruct us to do this ? Thanks !

Philippians ch 4 v 9

This is the overcomers chapter ,

Verse 9 says if we DO what we know is truth GOD will be with us .

This is true fellowship with God ,actually knowing him and communicating with him spiritually.

Walking with God , what more could a person want ? This should be greatly desired , all the promises become real in our very life , and more .

The book of Daniel say that they that know God shall be strong , and do exploits.

Delight yourself in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of your heart . That means your desires are in tune with him , not sinful .

Yes He is worth getting to know more than any one or thing that comes your way . But the cost is very high .

Apostle Paul said he counted the loss of all things dung , that he may know God . That should be an encouragement to us , it sure is to me in these uncertain times .
