We get some sort of hint of this in Mark 1:41-45. Jesus had just healed a leper. In Verse 44 he commanded the man to tell no one but to go and show himself to the priest. But what would be the reason for Jesus commanding him not to tell anyone else? And by the way, this leper who was just healed, in his excitement he began telling everyone, disregarding the command Jesus gave him.
If you notice that throughout the gospels, whenever large crowds would start gathering around Jesus, He would depart from the crowd. You would think that the more the better, right? But Jesus avoided large crowds.
Jesus performed many miracles. And because of the miracles, He was attracting large crowds. People weren't coming because they wanted to hear the message. They were coming to see the miracles. This is probably why Jesus would command this leper not to tell anyone that He just healed him. Jesus was never looking for fame. He was never trying to attract a crowd. He knew why the crowds were coming. He knew that they weren't coming to hear the message, but that they were coming to see the miracles.
You see, the Lord didn't want an excitable crowd following Him. He didn't want people coming to Him for the wrong reasons, the wrong motives.
(for employment) without seeking revenge or hardening the heart and losing the peaceable way of Salvation if the vaccines seem to be burden to one's beliefs. Regarding employers, the restrictions are the same for an employer with at least two employees to thousands of employees. The witness of the true believing Christian is not to condemn others to hell but to lead to (by example) salvation in Jesus Christ while time remains.
God bless our meditations.
You've obviously done a lot of work in this area (& possibly others), for which you would need a Website of your own to make your work available for others to read, digest & discuss. This medium is inadequate for that type of presentation, only for relatively short sharp responses. I have sometimes used several 'pages' for a question that required a detailed response, which was deemed too 'wordy' by some. So I understand your problem; a personal Website would be the way to go & I could engage with that.
You seem to have detected my character as one who has "rejected & criticized the Glorious thingswriting obtuse & obfuscating words". I might have done so if I knew what those 'Glorious things' were. I think that you may not be aware also, that many on this Site are well read in the Scriptures, having read through the Bible several times over. To those who don't know the Word well enough, your discovery of such things might indeed pique their interest in their quest to learn more of the present & future. But for others, we already come with a solid understanding of that which is revealed & if we're presented with something that is extra-biblical (e.g. over 100 references to the U.S. in the OT), then it becomes something of a personal decision to accept or reject. Since I have very little to go on, except for the short discussion on Ephraim & Dan, I'm sorry I haven't detected anything in your comments to urge me to pursue this. Thank you for your time Richard & may you continue to enjoy the Lord's blessings.
These things are far too lengthy to type into this format allowing a max. of only 2,000 characters. Although I have over the years typed some of these things up, that total is not even probably a fourth of what I have found, to which I have anyway still probably typed up over 200,000 words....so you can see that is a problem.
Perhaps you know someone here in the States that you can phone-connect with, and then they can "conference-call" to me and I can then spend a few hours showing both of you these things(?) We could also do it in multiple calls-conversations, if you and he would like, to not be on the phone quite so long each time.
Or, if you can somehow get me your email address...since this - this at first seeming sound, good, and valuable site, but then proving to be counter-productive - will not allow folks to swap personal contact information so as to further accommodate, build, and nurture John chapter 17 Glorious True Christian relationships. Knowing of no other way to contact them, I have even written the site managers directly in this system, asking them to let me send my contact info to others; but these folks have not yet responded to me, yea or nay. (Did my phone number even get to you in the previous email? On my end here the site management apparently deleted the number, they returning to me my own writing, sending it back to me about a day later, the phone number blocked out...but, again, did my number make it through to you?)
But now, Chris - although I hope I am wrong, and that you will somehow still call me and spend the time needed on the phone to indeed prove me wrong...but I sadly now know what and who you are - you have now twice in your responses rejected and criticized the Glorious things I was telling you of, writing obtuse and obfuscating words of supposed "problems", rather than, as a True Christian would, responding with alert interest and full attempt at belief with alive excited desire to see and know these Truths.
Remember what JESUS said in John 6:63 : "It is the Spirit who gives life, the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life"
My advice to you : Do not submit to the opinions and doctrines of men (flesh), believe JESUS (WORD OF GOD)
Amen
Read it with reverence for there are multiple BLESSINGS contained therein.
Amen
No problem sir. Here are a couple sections from the Apocrypha books that I know of. A couple good Scriptures on death of those who are with the Lord.
Wisdom of Solomon 2:23-24, Wisdom of Solomon 3:1-9, Wisdom of Solomon 4:7-16, Wisdom of Solomon 5:15-16,
Ecclesiasticus 14:11-18, Ecclesiasticus 19:18-20, Ecclesiasticus 41:3,
A couple from the Book of Enoch: 58.3 And the righteous will be in the light of the sun and the chosen in the light of eternal life. And there will be no end to the days of their life and the days of the Holy will be without number.
62.13 And the righteous and the chosen will be saved on that Day and they will never see the faces of the sinners and the lawless from then on.
62.14 And the Lord of Spirits will remain over them and with that Son of Man they will dwell, and eat, and lie down, and rise up, forever and ever.
62.15 And the righteous and chosen will have risen from the earth, and will have ceased to cast down their faces, and will have put on the Garment of Life.
62.16 And this will be a Garment of Life from the Lord of Spirits; and your garments will not wear out, and your glory will not fail, in front of the Lord of Spirits.
As these are just some things besides the verses in the NT we have. Of coarse the ungodly and those who are against the Lord death is detailed to not be good throughout all Scripture.
God Bless Spencer.
And of course, Dan is missing from Rev 7 & as you referred to Judges 5:17, "Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore, and abode in his breaches." Both the territories of Dan & Asher were hard against the Mediterranean with their major ports of Joppa & Tyre respectively. You seem to have found a special answer to this, & since calling you won't be possible, you may like to share here what you have learned that is different to what Judges 5:17 indicates. As well as that mysterious verse that gives inconclusive proof to use only the KJV to the rejection of all others and the USA-in-the KJV proofs. You're keeping all of us on tenterhooks. Thank you.
Pencil these scriptures on the back page of your Bible. 1 John 1:9 and Hebrews 8:12. God cannot lie.
Part of turning from our sins, is following Jesus, every day until He returns to earth to catch us up to him.
The baby is alive in heaven with God. He said, "All souls are Mine". Keep a bookmark in the Book of John chapter 3.
May God our Father comfort you in this time.
Mishael
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
(It is at the time of Christ's return that Christians are taken to heaven to be where Christ is. If Christians were already with Christ prior to that, there would be no need for Christ to receive them to himself.)
1 Corinthians 15:22,23
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
(It is at the time of Christ's return that Christians are made alive. If Christians were already alive prior to that, there would be no need for them to be made alive.)
1 Thessalonians 4:15-17
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
(It is at the time of Christ's return that Christians are caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. If Christians were already with Christ, there would be no need for them to be caught up to meet the Lord in the air.)
A question was asked by the Sadducees (a Jewish religious sect who don't believe in the resurrection) to Jesus: 'if a woman had seven husbands because each one of her husbands died before she did, who would be her husband at the time of the resurrection when the bodies of the deceased rise to be in Heaven?' They asked this question of Jesus trying to trap Him about the impossibility of a resurrection because a woman in this example, would have had seven husbands to deal with in Heaven, maybe all claiming the woman to be his wife & this would be a problem & an impossibility. Jesus answered them about their error in understanding. That in the resurrected state in Heaven, there is no such thing as relationships, whether to enter marriage or to maintain a previous marriage from Earth. Rather, He said, that our relationship will be what the angels of God presently enjoy: being in Heaven to love, worship & serve the Almighty One, rejoicing with one another in sweet fellowship. Will we know each other? I would think that we would, but our focus & desire would only be to our Merciful Father & His Son of Love, all other desires faded away.
And concerning the resurrection, which the Sadducees rejected, Jesus reminded them that God had spoken to them from the Word: "I AM the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living." Exodus 3:6. That since God was not a God of a deceased Abraham, Isaac & Jacob, that is why God spoke of them as being alive: maybe not in a resurrected state at that point but certainly alive in spirit & would continue to be so in the bodily resurrection.
It will be difficult to comfort her out of the scripture if he died lost.
I would say pray for her often, and be as close a friend that she would allow you to be, So she can see the love of Christ in you.
I hope that helps you and her.
God bless.
THANK YOU, EVERY BROTHER AND SISTER FOR YOUR WISDOM.
:)
Seeing your post a verse comes to mind. Though it is not exactly what you state about to "mourn birth". Ecclesiastes 7:1.
I know of a couple other things about death being "good". For those who are with the Lord of coarse. If you're interested let me know.
God Bless.
